AMI is so cool! Twilight sees a lot of herself in Ami: the sanctuary in books, a huge amount of curiosity for learning, and being in the library all the time. Twilight likes how helpful Ami is and pretty much considers her a friend already. Expect study parties with these two in the future.
BILBO is an odd duck and Twilight can't figure out what's not human about him, but he seems like a kind and adventurous fellow egghead, and the world doesn't have enough of those.
DARIA can be too pessimistic for Twilight's taste occasionally, but Twi can tell that Daria's heart is in the right place, and anypony who hangs out in the library can't be all bad, so Twilight is cautiously friendly towards her. (Well, as cautious as Twilight can be, anyway.)
MOIRAINE has kind of a mystical air about her but is still pretty friendly and helpful, and Twilight thinks that's neat. She wants to do a fair amount of research into Moiraine's world and this Wheel she keeps talking about.
I find it highly amusing that Twilight's main interaction with SKYWALKER so far has been while he's a girl, but Twilight's focus currently is on Skywalker's Force rather than his(/her) gender, anyway. After all, this is the third or fourth type of magic she's encountered while here. Skywalker seems hospitable, though.
Twilight can see something's troubling BEAST but can't tell what. He's hiding something very painful and he's not hiding it well. The only way Twilight can figure to help him is through friendliness, and he doesn't really seem that bad when he's not furious (and that's all sound and no fury anyway), so she considers him half friend and half project. She wants to help him, is what I'm saying.
Okay, VEGETA, what the hay? I mean, Twilight can tell he's powerful and all and she guesses that's something to be proud of, but not only is he boastful, he seems apt to use his power for destruction. He's like a less chaotic version of Discord; all that power in the wrong hands could be used for ill will. Not that he's used it for evil (YET), and he was helpful during the Draft, but Twilight's keeping an eye on him all the same.
(is that a Homestuck kismesisitude symbol i think it's a Homestuck kismesisitude symbol)
SPOCK! Finally an intellectual equal! Meeting Spock was sort of like meeting Luna back in Ponyville; somepony who understood what she was talking about! Still, beneath that logical exterior, she sees the sort of friendly heart she hid for years as an introverted nerd. And he's been a great friend to her at home and during the Draft. So basically Spock's pretty cool yo.
Well, she hasn't talked with EMIL very much yet. He seems nice enough, and he did enable her to try some Science, so I expect they'll keep talking in the future!
HELIOS seems like a pretty cool guy. Aw, who are we kidding? He's head librarian! And he's really nice and smart to boot, and he's good conversation. I'm really looking forward to magic shenanigans because I don't think Twi's really figured out how magical he is yet. (I certainly haven't.)
Feels, where do I even start? First, anypony who hangs out in the library has to be a good person. Second, Robin is intellectual enough for Twilight to hold pretty interesting conversation with him regarding other worlds. Third, she introduced the concept of nakama to Twilight, which is basically what Twilight bases the most important aspect of her life around even if she didn't call it that before, and so Twilight thinks Robin gets her on a level that others might not realize.
