Kurt is on the fence about Buffy. He's pretty sure that they just keep getting off on the wrong foot, but somehow things never seem to... click between the two. He's pretty sure they'll never be friends, but he tries to at least be friendly when he can. Especially now after he managed to injure and humiliate her (or so he thinks.)

Kitty is, of course, his bff. He might have new friends in Luceti, but let's face it, Kitty is pretty irreplaceable like that. He's glad to have her around in Luceti again, even if that's pretty selfish. But she's practically like a little sister to him (only he isn't insistent on that like he is with Rogue) so the more the merrier!

Despite their different worlds, Pao-Lin offers a little solidarity in Luceti that is surprisingly missing. While people with powers aren't uncommon, from what he's heard from her (and her castmates) describes a world not too different from his own. So from the time they spent on that mission together and just talking to her, he considers her to be a pretty good friend. Definitely someone he wants to get to know better.

Mia is a really nice girl and even if she can take care of herself, Kurt can't help but want to look out for her. She's sweet and adorable, after all. Overall, she's a good friend and someone he could trust with his secrets if he... talked about his secrets. 8|

No but really, Kurt kind of already thinks he knows who Beast really is, but he's not saying anything. But he feels bad for the poor guy, because he's definitely more monstrous looking than Kurt is. But he's still grumpy.

Leading up the trip home, Kurt was pretty fond of Melanie and cared a lot for her. She was pretty unique, after all. Not many girls would be able to see past his appearance and really like him.

Having went back home has complicated things. He didn't say anything and managed to hide it, but his brief date with Amanda again... was nice. Even though he felt guilty throughout it, it's made him start wondering if he feels the same way about Melanie that he did for Amanda. Is he only dating Melanie for convenience, because no one other girl ever would? It may not be entirely like that, but it's definitely weighing on his mind now. He's afraid to say anything about it, because he doesn't want to hurt Melanie.

And then there's the matter of the AU. The way THAT Kurt felt for Melanie is different than how THIS Kurt does. He's not sure he can match that kind of bond. And more than that, he feels like he's lost something significant due to the fact his first time with sex ended up being something he thought was normal and no big deal at the time. So. Complicated. He's not sure what to do. It's why he's trying to stay on missions. Try and avoid the situation as long as he can.

Kurt doesn't know what to make Nami. Nice, attractive older woman that he keeps ending up in weird situations with. He's not sure he can really forge a meaningful friendship when there's so much weirdness there. But. She's got a nice personality and she takes it in stride, so he likes her as far as that goes.

Also she has an amazing body. :|b

Kurt never really got super close to Haruhi even when in the Brigade and now that he's out of it, he feels awkward around her. Like, maybe she probably dislikes him now because he bailed on the brigade. So even though he still likes her and respects her enough to get advice from her, he keeps his distance these days.

Melaka

Awkward city. Kurt likes Melaka and hey, he'd even say she was a babe, but having gone through that weird threesome they had, he's probably going to keep their relationship subdued. However, he recognizes her as an outcast and as an all around good person, so there's a sense of solidarity there. It just needs some time before he stops thinking about how they were a couple once.
