Sokka Thunderaxe

[personal profile] markofthewise 2013-06-20 05:23 am (UTC)(link)
1) Height: 5'11. He won't be getting any taller than that!

2) Weight: About 175 lbs

3) Eye color/Hair Color: Blue eyes with brown hair.

4) Age: 19 since February. (He arrived in Luceti being just shy of 16)

5) Physical features: Sokka is a little more mature and sturdier than his icons indicate. This is a good idea of what he looks like in-game now.

6) Voice: Now that he's older, Sokka sounds more like this. (How soon is too soon to switch to LoK icons?)

7) Who do they live with and how are chores divided in their house/apartment?:

Right now he lives in Avatar House with the ever-growing 'gang'. Inevitably Katara ends up doing a lot of the cleaning up, but Sokka has got into the habit of doing stuff too. Since he doesn't cook, he's often the one doing after-dinner dishes. He's also the sort of 'handyman' of the house for when things break and need fixing.

8) Their favorite (and least favorite, if you want) foods and who does the cooking in their house/apartment?:

Sokka loves meat, especially if it's spicy. He also enjoys baked goods, but doesn't like things that are too sweet. Vegetables are okay with him, but not his favorite. Steak is his favorite meal. Usually Katara cooks and Zuko sometimes helps out. Sokka is known to cook up some bacon, steaks, or whatever else if he's in the mood. He knows how to cook meat, at least.

9) What they do during an average day in Luceti:

Actually I am lame and gave him a vague sort of shedule. In general he spends his time at the smithy tinkering with stuff, or with his nose stuck in a technical or scientific book, or just generally goofing off and hanging out.

10) Their general sense of fashion:

Sokka still prefers the standard Water Tribe tunic (like this) since he does like to go sleeveless (especially now that he's muscular!). He used to get his tunics made by Shiki. He's a little more open to other stuff these days. He's started to get used to the idea of blue jeans (it helps that they are blue!) and since he outgrew his boots from home, he'll wear boots of a more modern style. He still won't wear just regular shoes, though. He likes his boots. In the summer he might switch to sandals on a particularly hot day.

On colder nights, he'll wear this flannel jacket that Buffy gave him. During a particularly bright day, he'll sometimes sport these cool shades.

11) Do they have any hobbies? Did they come up with these hobbies in Luceti, or was it something they always did?:

Sokka has grown to become pretty work-oriented in terms of training, working, and self-improvement. Which makes him appreciate his goof off time even more. This will generally be stuff like fishing, hunting, tinkering with stuff in his basement, trying to teach tricks to Momo, or collecting cool weapons. He also enjoys coming up with new puns. In the last year he has begun concentrating his efforts on learning alchemy.

12) Has the situation in Luceti changed their view on certain topics/the way they react to different things?:

Sokka has mellowed out thanks to his time in Luceti. He's not as spastic, he's not as negative, and he's a whole lot more tolerant of things that don't fit into his notion of what the world is like. That's not to say he isn't critical of things that seem logical or stupid, but he'll usually just drop the matter instead of exasperating it by complaining about it. He's more confident and secure with himself, having overcome a lot of his self doubts about being a leader or a non-bender. He's also a lot less lazy now. Even though he can still be pretty lazy sometimes.

Oh and he lost his soul and became a complete jackass.

13) Do they have a weapon? If so, do they carry it at all times or just under certain circumstances?:

Sokka's primary weapons are his Space Sword and his Boomerang. In general he carries them around almost all the time, though sometimes he'll leave his sword sitting somewhere inside the house or smithy if he's just staying around the building. Aside from that, he has a few knives he'll always keep on his person and a bag of bombs that he sometimes keeps on him. During drafts he also has a small axe that has a lightning crest attached to it, thus earning him the name "Thunderaxe".

14) Do they have any pets? Would these pets be at their homes, or do they hang out with the character in question?:

Foo Foo Cuddlypoops - a Saber-Tooth Moose Lion that he received as a Christmas present last year. It’s nearly a year old now, so it’s about the size of a medium-sized dog now and its horns are a bit bigger now. Sokka dislikes the cutesy name he originally gave it, so he usually just calls it ‘Foo’ around most people. The little creature is playful and fairly intelligent. He’s trying to train it to be an attack animal, but it seems to be more interested in being cuddly. When it’s full grown it’ll be quite large, but it won’t reach that size until it’s five years old.

15) Who are their neighbors?: House 51, 52, and 57. This largely consists of the Zombie Run! cast (and friends) and Mithos.

16) Who are their best friends in Luceti? How often do they spend time with them and doing what?

Sokka used to have some pretty awesome friends! Not so much these days.

Normally, however, Sokka can count Winry and Edward as among his best friends. He’s close to his housemates, most notably Aang and his own sister. He has other friends like Fenimore, Buffy, and Katniss that he enjoys spending time with. With most of his friends it’s usually just hanging out and talking. With Buffy he visits her at the bar to chat about whatever comes to mind, whereas he and Katniss will go hunting together.

17) On the flip side, is there anyone they actively don’t get along with? How do they interact, and would people know about this?

Due to his current status, he doesn’t get along with a lot of people. Things are particularly frosty with him and Winry, Edward, Korra, Sheena, and especially Suki.

18) Their favorite areas/stores/hang-out locations?:

Sokka works at the smithy and it's his favorite place to be, since it's his place and it's where he can feel the most knowledgable and useful. And he likes the couch there a lot. He'll spend time there even if he doesn't have stuff he's working with. Besides that, he will go to Good Spirits to talk to Buffy. He spends time in the library reading alchemy books or books about science or 'how to' guides. He likes to spend time by the ocean or the river, maintaining his boats too.

19) Do they belong to any clubs or organizations? Which ones? Do they go regularly, or just occasionally?

Sokka is a member of Brave Vesperia and technically a co-leader along with Luke and Emil, though his participation in the group has become essentially nonexistent since he gained his death penalty.

20) Wing color and how do they deal with their wings?:

Sokka has made holes in his tunics for them to slip through, but he'll wear a jacket or coat or armor over them at other times. But on a normal day, his wings are out for all to see.

21) Did they change or grow in any way physically since coming to Luceti?:

Sokka has grown about four five , built up a lot of muscle due to his sword training and work at the smithy, grown out his hair a little longer (he now wears a braid with a bead his sister made for him), and has grown a small beard. He’s gained a lot of scars due to accidents or from battle. His most noticeable one is a large scar on his left side from where a Shift Hunter bit him.

Recently he acquired a special Shift that has increased his physical abilities by fifty percent, making him stronger and faster than he normally should be. It’s usually not noticeable, though on drafts it makes him instantly noticeable to Shift Hunters.

22) What do they miss the most from home?:

Family. Sokka misses his dad so much. It bothers him a lot that they finally got their dad back at the end of the war and that he's now spent ANOTHER three years without him.

23) What does their handwriting look like? Do they write the way they talk, or is there a clear difference between the two?:

His handwriting used to be messy, but its steadily improved since he started learning alchemy and had to start making extensive notes. But he’s also just as likely to write in scrawl that only he has any success reading.

24) Is the way they act in person different from the way they act over the journal system?:

He’s more or less the same, though he’s a little harsher and meaner on the journals just because he can get away with it.

25) Did they gain/lose any personal goals during their stay in Luceti?:

One major shift for him was the change in his approach to being a warrior. Although it was important to him at home, he hit a major turning point in a misunderstanding with Sanji about how he stacked up to Katara (and just about everyone else in Luceti). As a result he spends more time than he ever did finding ways to make himself better, whether it's just training, devising new weapons, learning alchemy, or integrating Filial magic with his own style.

His desire to return home has continuously diminished and now with his death penalty, he has absolutely no desire to ever go back to his own world.

26) Is Luceti a technological upgrade, or downgrade for them? Have they adapted to these changes well?:

Upgrade. And he LOVES it so much. He's acclimated to everything very quickly by finding out how things work and in cases of stuff he can get from the store, taking them apart and trying to put them back together. As much as it interests him, it's kind of killed his penchant for inventions. Everything he's ever done or could do has already been invented. So rather than an inventor, he's more of a mechanic these days and has gained a penchant for repairing or building things.

27) FOR STUDENTS: What is their favorite class? What is their least favorite class? What about their general behavior in school?:

Sokka stopped attending school last year. He used to pitch in as a tutor, but has since stopped doing that.

28) FOR DRINKERS: What is their favorite drink? What is their least favorite drink? Do they prefer Good Spirits or Cloud Nine? What's their attitude about and while drinking?:

Before his death penalty, he was drinking more, having moved on from fruity beverages to beer. Nowadays he partakes in the fruity stuff still, but only for the taste.

29) Do they have any special talents? If so, what are they?:

Hunting, fishing, smithing, construction... he's handier than he realizes, despite his lack of special powers. In general, Sokka is a craftsman at heart. He doesn't tend to realize how talented he is because he ends up getting fixated on things he's not good at, like art and cooking.

30) Have they learned any new skills or abilities in Luceti? If so, what are they? Why and how?

Sokka has vastly improved his skills in smithing and metallurgy since learning from Piandao. He's picked up Tennen Rishin style from training with Okita Souji and is a very competent swordsman now. Also he has been learning alchemy from Edward Elric and has reached a point where he can create his own alchemy circles, though he isn’t able to come up with new ones on the fly or use it in combat like a more experienced alchemist.

31) What kind of habits do they have on drafts? Are they willing to kill or do they prefer to avoid fighting?

Sokka will usually fight with 'Team Avatar', whoever might happen to be with him. He usually will try to stay in a defensive position where he can help the most people, usually helping out in a strategic role by overseeing things and coordinating with other groups. Although he dislikes killing, he's come to accept it as a part of life in Luceti.

Due to his death penalty, Sokka has adopted a merciless attitude and shows no remorse when dealing with cultists and uses any method at his disposal to kill them, no matter how cruel or gory it might be.

32) What kind of habits do they have on missions? What is their reason for going on them? What do they intend to use their points for?

Sokka tends to go on missions quite a bit and will usually go for whatever’s made available to him. He places no preference on combat missions, as he much prefers to take safer tasks given his close brushes with death in the past. Largely he goes on missions to get a glimpse of the outside world, but largely these days it’s just to accumulate points for his own personal use.

33) How long have they been in Luceti? Has that length of time impacted them in any way?:

Three years. For the most part, he's started to think of Luceti as 'home' and in a sense, come to terms with the fact that they could be there for a very long time (talking to people on missions has really solidified that idea too). He tends to consider his chances of ever going home to be pretty small and comes to expect that most of the people he know won’t stick around for long.

34) How do they unwind and get back to normal after a brutal experiment, event, or draft?

He sort of internalizes it and tries not to let it bother him. He tries to take it in stride. In the event of particularly harsh experiences, he may take some time to himself by camping in the forest, going on a mission, or burying himself in work. If he's really bothered by it, he'll be pretty obvious with it in the way he becomes serious and cold. He had started to drink to help cope, but these days his death penalty means he doesn’t get bothered by them at all.

35) What is their worst experience from an experiment or kidnapping? Were there any that they actually liked?

The worst is both times he was ‘Avatar Sokka’. Though it came with some cool powers, it came with a mess of memories he didn’t want. His second time as the ‘Avatar’ came with some painful memories of his entire family dying, which he still hasn’t shaken.

He really enjoyed the few months he had super powers.

36) Anything else you want to note?:

Emil Castagnier

[personal profile] knightofratatosk 2013-06-20 07:34 am (UTC)(link)
1) Height: 5'6 1/2" / 169 cm (that half inch is very important to him, okay)

2) Weight: 132 lbs / 60 kg

3) Eye color/Hair Color: Blond hair, green eyes.

4) Age: Physically 16. Actual age... it's complicated.

5) Physical features: BEHOLD, THE ANTENNA. Also has a star-shaped birthmark on the left side of his collarbone, but this isn't visible most of the time.

6) Voice: Right here! It doesn't help with the illusion that he's younger than he really is.

7) Who do they live with and how are chores divided in their house/apartment?: Emil lives with Caius, and the two of them divide the chores fairly evenly, cooking being the exception-- that's Emil's territory for the most part.

8) Their favorite (and least favorite, if you want) foods and who does the cooking in their house/apartment?: Emil love love LOVES seafood of any sort, as well as orange soda (a very unfortunate fact while the elves were here), mint chocolate chip and cookie dough ice cream, and pretty much everything else. He's not a picky eater, except where herbs are concerned, though he's growing to be more tolerant of those. As stated above, he's the one who does most of the cooking.

9) What they do during an average day in Luceti: Do some chores, maybe go to a couple of classes at school, and then work in the tea shop. Not necessarily in that order, and he spends a lot of his time with friends, too. His life is pretty mundane, but compared to what it was back in his own world, he likes it.

10) Their general sense of fashion: Stuff like this-- in other words, average teenage boy fashion, nothing too ridiculous or too "hip."

11) Do they have any hobbies? Did they come up with these hobbies in Luceti, or was it something they always did?: Cooking! It's something he was fond of (and good at) back in his own world; now that he's pretty much fending for himself in Luceti, he's gotten much better at it and gotten the chance to try all sorts of new things. He's pretty proud of his cooking skils by now.

12) Has the situation in Luceti changed their view on certain topics/the way they react to different things?: Luceti has matured Emil. A LOT. He's braver now, less apologetic, and more likely to look on the bright side rather than be pessimistic. Of course, he's still a derp who has a tendency to forget to introduce himself to people, and he has a bad habit of sticking his foot in his mouth sometimes, but overall he's much more grown-up than he was when he first arrived. Perhaps most importantly, he's come to terms with who - and what - he is. He accepts his dual nature as both human and non-human and is comfortable admitting it to others. Sure, he still has a ways to go before he and Ratatosk fully accept each other, but they're on the right path. He finally he believes that he can be useful just by being himself.

13) Do they have a weapon? If so, do they carry it at all times or just under certain circumstances?: Yes, Emil has a one-handed sword that he uses in combat, though in Luceti it tends to stay home most of the time.

14) Do they have any pets? Would these pets be at their homes, or do they hang out with the character in question?: Ahahaha Emil has a small zoo at his house, I am not even kidding. He has his chimera Sial, who was a gift from the Malnosso, a cat named Sherbet (one of Foot's kittens), a squirrel named Peanut, and various and sundry birds that he's rescued after they fell out of their nests. Sial is the only one who actually accompanies him anywhere, though.

15) Who are their neighbors?: Ami and Rei and Czes, Maiza, Luke, Layton, and Flora!

16) Who are their best friends in Luceti? How often do they spend time with them and doing what? Well, Caius is his housemate, so they're pretty good buddies. Aside from that... oh my god why are you asking me this, Emil knows everyone. EVERYONE. And he's always spending time with them, either in person or by chatting over the journals. CANNOT BE TAMED. Emil is a people person and thrives on contact with others.

17) On the flip side, is there anyone they actively don’t get along with? How do they interact, and would people know about this? Emil gets along with... pretty much everyone, or at least THINKS he gets along with everyone. Hal might have a different opinion on this matter. But Emil likes him! He just thinks Hal is a grumpy gus.

18) Their favorite areas/stores/hang-out locations?: The Welcome Center, Celsius Tear, and sometimes Good Spirits!

19) Do they belong to any clubs or organizations? Which ones? Do they go regularly, or just occasionally? He is the head of Brave Vesperia! Naturally this means he is always at meetings, and he also goes to stuff like the New Feather parties and the Cultural Fair to promote it there. He knows he sort of failed at being a leader for a while there, so he's putting in extra effort now to do a good job.

20) Wing color and how do they deal with their wings?: Green, and for the most part he just sort of ignores them. He's gotten so used to them by now that he forgets they're even there.

21) Did they change or grow in any way physically since coming to Luceti?: Nope. Emil won't grow at all due to what he is, at least not without conscious decision on his part (and Ratatosk's powers).

22) What do they miss the most from home?: HIS FRANS. Richter, Marta and Tenebrae especially. He would give just about anything to be able to see them again.

23) What does their handwriting look like? Do they write the way they talk, or is there a clear difference between the two?: ... ahaha. It's fairly messy, and that's putting it nicely. His writing is similar to the way he talks, only without the occasional stammering and the "um"s and "well"s.

24) Is the way they act in person different from the way they act over the journal system?: ... nope. Emil is just as derpy over the journals as he is in person, sometimes even more so.

25) Did they gain/lose any personal goals during their stay in Luceti?: Emil is determined to not only find a way to get back to his own world, but to be able to visit all of his other friends in different worlds too. Now that he's learned about space travel, he's even more convinced that this will be possible. He just needs to find the way.

26) Is Luceti a technological upgrade, or downgrade for them? Have they adapted to these changes well?: Upgrade! Electricity and technology really aren't that common where he comes from outside of some areas, so this is all new and exciting. Aside from detonating a potato in a microwave once, he's been doing a pretty good job learning how to use all of these strange new devices. He's especially fond of the TV in the rec center.

27) FOR STUDENTS: What is their favorite class? What is their least favorite class? What about their general behavior in school?: Emil doesn't really attend classes with any regularity anymore because he considers himself an adult and therefore too old to be a full-time student. He's not much of a fan of homework, either, and will go to considerable lengths to avoid doing it.

28) FOR DRINKERS: What is their favorite drink? What is their least favorite drink? Do they prefer Good Spirits or Cloud Nine? What's their attitude about and while drinking?: He likes Buffy's McCoys and anything that doesn't taste too boozy. If it's too strong, he won't like it... which means he mostly likes girly drinks. Good Spirits all the way because Buffy and Asch are bartenders, meaning he gets the chance to chat with them whenever he visits (which isn't all that often). To him, drinking is just something he gets the urge for every now and then; he's never been drunk-drunk and isn't really interested in that at all. Sometimes he just wants to be a little bit buzzed.

29) Do they have any special talents? If so, what are they?: RATATOSK MODE. And by that I mean he has another side of him that comes out in battle (or when he's really angry/scared), and this side isn't nearly as nice as Emil is. Ratatosk is arrogant, brutal, and generally unpleasant to humans. He's also a giant brat who has a tendency to act quite childish when things don't go his way. Needless to say, Emil tries to avoid letting him out, and for good reason.

30) Have they learned any new skills or abilities in Luceti? If so, what are they? Why and how? ... you know, I'm sure he has, but I am drawing a total and utter blank on this right now.

31) What kind of habits do they have on drafts? Are they willing to kill or do they prefer to avoid fighting? Emil hates drafts. HATES. He lets Ratatosk take over to do the fighting for a good reason and he doesn't really want to know what Ratatosk does while he's in charge. When he can, he prefers to avoid the fighting altogether.

32) What kind of habits do they have on missions? What is their reason for going on them? What do they intend to use their points for? Emil has never been on a mission, so this one is a big N/A.

33) How long have they been in Luceti? Has that length of time impacted them in any way?: It'll be five years for him in August. Which is longer than he's actually "lived" in his own world, and he finds that to be an odd thought. As a result, Luceti feels more like home to him than his world does and he's not in any real hurry to leave, all things considered. This is especially true given the fact that the people in his hometown of Luin were sort of horrible to him, whereas the people in Luceti have been kind. So... yeah, no real hurry to go back home. He likes all of the people he's met and the things he's done and learned here.

34) How do they unwind and get back to normal after a brutal experiment, event, or draft? Emil tends to go spend time with his friends and pets to cheer himself up after something really bad happens. Anything to get his mind off whatever it was. In his mind, if he can think about happy things instead, it makes the bad things that much more bearable.

35) What is their worst experience from an experiment or kidnapping? Were there any that they actually liked? LUCETILAND WAS AWESOME OKAY OKAY. In less awesome things, his worst experience was probably that experiment where he stumbled across Faize's dead body after the Malnosso killed him. That was a pretty traumatic experience for him.

36) Anything else you want to note?: DEAR GOD HAS IT REALLY BEEN ALMOST FIVE YEARS Emil is just like a fluffy blond barnacle who won't leave

Ikki | Legend of Korra ...part 1

[personal profile] breezing 2013-06-20 05:57 am (UTC)(link)
1) Height: Ikki's pretty short at about four foot one. THIS IS A GUESS.

2) Weight: Fifty-two pounds. Also a guess, but this was done from height/weight charts for children, so uh.

3) Eye color/Hair Color: Ikki has gray-blue eyes, leaning towards gray. Her hair, meanwhile, is black. It's normally back in buns, but she's been known to wear it down in Luceti if she's being fancy, or in whatever style Katara or whomever feels like helping her out with.

4) Age: Seven. She'll be eight in a few months, but yep! Ikki looks her age, and acts it, so.

5) Physical features: Her icons are pretty spot-on, really. No new additions in Luceti in terms of typical looks.

6) Voice: Out of the way daddy! We're DRIVING here! The only clip I could find easily. Ikki talks pretty fast once she's rambling (she's a motor mouth if you give her any leeway at all) and is fairly expressive in tone. It's never hard to tell what she's feeling or thinking.

7) Who do they live with and how are chores divided in their house/apartment?: Ikki lives at House 56 with Aang (her roommate!), Katara, Sokka, Bolin, Korra, and Asami. And, of course, the Avatar menagerie: Soren, Appa, Momo, Naga, Pabu, Prince Petunia, Foo Foo...Ikki has chores assigned to her by the Aang/Katara/Sokka (normally Katara, probably), and will help with meal prep (in terms of what she can do, so nothing fancy/with knives/fire) and cleaning away dishes. Dishes are probably a pretty big part of her chore roster. She's also undoubtedly on the roster for animal care, and is nominally in charge of Petunia and obviously Soren. She has to make her bed and other ordinary things in the morning. Pretty much Ikki has the sort of chores you might expect a seven-year-old to have in a house populated by fairly reasonable older family members!

8) Their favorite (and least favorite, if you want) foods and who does the cooking in their house/apartment?: CHOCOLATE IS AMAZING, and she doesn't eat meat, being an air nomad! Ikki is actually not too picky. That is, she'll try anything (sans meat) at least once, but won't sugarcoat her thoughts about it. She likes vegetable dishes and anything sweet best, and doesn't much care for sour things. Katara does a lot of the cooking, but Aang does a lot of the vegetable dishes, too. Breakfast for Ikki tends to be handled by whoever is up wth her in the mornings, which has meant Sokka, Aang, or Bolin in the past, but not Katara, who gets up a bit later than she does.

9) What they do during an average day in Luceti: Ikki generally goes to any event she hears about or is invited to (typically tagging along with family or friends), so her schedule is pretty flexible - although she attends school whenever it's in session. When left to her own devices she can often be found hanging out at the fountain or the playground or visiting friends or playing at the air gates, but she'll often go exploring around the town itself. She's never alone, as Soren the swellow is a now constant companion on these adventures. She has a few set in stone activities, though: airbending practice with Aang (and Korra?) in the mornings and dinner with the family at House 56. Dinner at their house is a mandatory event, so. The people Ikki visits the most and the things she's most likely to do with them? Ikki frequently drops by the bakery to chat with Rapunzel about nothing/the Art Club; now that Chien's back she tries to make time for him; she occasionally has tutoring sessions with Raine one-on-one; she's been known to drop by the smithy to see her uncle, and also Raven (whom Soren likes to drop in on, and Ikki likes to oblige Soren); she's fond of Shikamaru and Masaomi and Korra so she probably hangs out at the convenience store sometimes nowadays; aaaand she'll go by the farm sometimes for fun. And is still guilt-tripping Tony into giving her baseball lessons, because why not.

10) Their general sense of fashion: She's taken to wearing some more modern-ish clothing from the shops at times (particularly when playing). Shorts and t-shirts and such, and lots of sundresses. She still gravitates to airbender colors, though! When they aren't in reds or yellows or oranges, Ikki tends to wear a lot of pink and other colors that a seven-year-old girl might be drawn to, because of course. Other things to note about her - she has a set of prayer beads around her right wrist 24/7, with wooden beads. Evenly spaced around them are beads for each of the four nations - although Aang had to make the fire nation one, since he BURNT IT DURING A CANON UPDATE. It's a treasure from Grandpa!

11) Do they have any hobbies? Did they come up with these hobbies in Luceti, or was it something they always did?: She has lots! She likes drawing, and playing with grandpa, and playing with Soren, and practicing airbending...Really, the only things to change in what she likes to do are who she does things with. Well, and she's been known to go to the Battle Dome for non-combative stuff, and that definitely is a new thing in terms of haha didn't exist at home. She also knows how to play blackjack now, so there's that. Honestly Ikki will pick up anything that seems fun and try it, pretty much.

12) Has the situation in Luceti changed their view on certain topics/the way they react to different things?: Not...really? She's actually matured a bit, although it might be hard to tell with how perky and childish she still is. Ikki's had a lot of talks with Aang and Katara in particular that helped her grow up some, though, because she knows she has to grow up, with where she is.

13) Do they have a weapon? If so, do they carry it at all times or just under certain circumstances?: Does Soren count? He's with her 24/7. Otherwise, Ikki has a glider Sokka made her for last Christmas, and that's usually on her, too. Ikki's an airbender, and also seven, just as a reminder; she doesn't really actually fight. She'd just dodge the hell out of things and tattle to Aang/Katara/Sokka/Korra/Bolin/Asami/Suki at the first chance she got. OR ANY OF HER OTHER CR, TBH. While she's capable of a certain level of defense and has mowed down grown men in canon with an air scooter, she didn't do that until said men invaded her home island. Generally, Ikki will just complain about things verbally or pout rather than, you know, start a fight, which goes against the whole air nomad thing. She also has a boomerang Sokka made her, but she considers that "fun thing to throw and make come back" or possibly "can knock fruit off trees" rather than "deadly weapon", and anyway she's not the greatest with that (though she can shove air to make it go further! ...for...what good that does).

14) Do they have any pets? Would these pets be at their homes, or do they hang out with the character in question?: The Avatar menagerie all counts to one degree or another: Soren, Appa, Momo, Naga, Pabu, Prince Petunia, Foo Foo. Soren and Petunia are the ones Ikki considers most readily "hers", although Soren is always introduced as a partner/her best friend rather than a pet. Petunia is always introduced as a pet (he's a starfish). Petunia tends to stay at home in his tank except on special occasions. Soren is with Ikki pretty much 24/7, and while he has a pokeball, he's pretty much never in it ever.

15) Who are their neighbors?: Anyone who lives near House 56.

16) Who are their best friends in Luceti? How often do they spend time with them and doing what? EVERYONE HER AGE KEEPS LEAVING. But! Aside from Soren (whom she counts), Aang is probably her best friend. Yes, she considers her grandfather her best friend. She spends a lot of time with Aang, from morning to evening. They share a room (bunk beds! Ikki has the lower set) and do training every morning, and they attend school together, and she...honestly just likes spending time with her grandpa, he is the best. Other than him, she'd list anyone from her cast as a friend, although Bolin is one of those more willing to play with her (tea parties), and Asami has been making her more of the metal wind-up people like at the culture fair. Cross-canon wise she's really super fond of Chien (♥ CHIEN), RAPUNZEL (whom she wants to invite to a slumber party), Raine (although Raine is "Sifu Raine" rather than a friend as such), Shikamaru, Masaomi, AND...lots of people honestly? She's adopted a ton of people and talks to others a lot, and will actively spend time with anyone who wants to spend time with her. She does different things with different people, and likes them all.

17) On the flip side, is there anyone they actively don’t get along with? How do they interact, and would people know about this? HAHA YES...She's seven and precocious and annoying, of course there are people she doesn't get on with. MOST NOTABLY is probably Vegeta, whom she frequently has petty arguments with because they are the most mature when combined. She also still sort of has a grudge against all her previous pen pals from the Hydra Social Project because none of them were really ~pen pals~ with her (she got a lot of forced-to-participate types). Other than that, there are people whom she hasn't gotten on with, but no one that really merits specific mention, since she hasn't had repeated interactions with most of those (unlike Vegeta) and isn't holding a specific petty grudge (unlike the Hydra Social folks). SHE'S SEVEN AND IS NOT THE MOST MATURE.

18) Their favorite areas/stores/hang-out locations?: I FEEL I'VE COVERED THIS A LOT. Beyond home, she loves the FOUNTAIN, the AIRBENDING GATES, the PLAYGROUND, the SCHOOL, and the stores run by people she likes: the BAKERY, the FLOWER SHOP, the CONVENIENCE STORE, etc. Ikki's easy to find pretty much anywhere, and is considering going into Good Spirits during the day if she gets permission because Buffy said they have FRUIT SMOOTHIES!!!! for kids.

19) Do they belong to any clubs or organizations? Which ones? Do they go regularly, or just occasionally? The Art Club, of course, which she co-founded/runs with Rapunzel. It's held the 2nd Sunday of every month unless 1) they announce a change/extra meeting or 2) everyone forgets it's a thing because experiment and they have to reschedule. If people remember it's a thing it's held regardless of experiments on the grounds that rescheduling around experiments sounds hard and sort of POINTLESS to Ikki, who is sure that if they rescheduled a new thing would happen on that day, gosh. She attends regularly, of course! Ikki also belonged to the Hydra Social Project, and wrote every partner she had (despite a lack of returns) until a month she boycotted on the grounds she and her partner were on the outs from being partnered the previous month.

Tony Stark

[personal profile] alloys 2013-06-21 05:19 am (UTC)(link)
1) Height:

5’8”

2) Weight:

Average?!

3) Eye color/Hair Color:

Brown/Brunette.

4) Age:

NEBULOUSLY 42-ish, let's just go with early forties.

5) Physical features:

Tony has a circle of light in his chest! It’s not always visible, but it can be seen through lighter clothing.

6) Voice:

”Let’s do a headcount, here.”

7) Who do they live with and how are chores divided in their house/apartment?:

Tony lives in House 49 with Pepper, and I bet you only need one guess for how much of the housework he does!! Some things never change, and Pepper does most of the work, including cleaning up after Tony. Billy also comes over to clean once a week. One time Tony conned Buffy into doing his laundry after years of haranguing her about it. The sweet tang of victory. He never cleans up if he can help it.

8) Their favorite (and least favorite, if you want) foods and who does the cooking in their house/apartment?:

Tony’s favorite foods all consist of superb nutritional value, including (but not limited to): coffee, poptarts, sandwiches, burgers, pie, waffles, donuts, SHAWARMA OBVIOUSLY. Overall, Tony does not have refined taste buds, and would pick a Big Mac and fries over hors d'oeuvre or something sicknasty like that. Pepper does pretty much all of the cooking, which, let's be honest, is in everyone's best interesting.

9) What they do during an average day in Luceti:

By nature, Tony isn’t a creature of habit, but there are a few things he does here and there regularly. He keeps an independent notebook and laptop full of Luceti-related phenomena he’s studied, recently including data on the tunnels. He tinkers in his workshop on the second floor of his home, though that habit has been more subdued lately. He drinks at least one cup of coffee in the morning, and it’s a rare day if that’s his only cup. He scopes out the smithy to see if any of his armor has shown up, and he visits the battle dome - for training and scenario building, but much more frequently to conduct research on Pepper’s condition these days. He also visits Good Spirits occasionally, but not nearly as much as he used to. He visits people he needs to talk to, bothers Rogue at the item shop, and of course, spends lots of time with Pepper. He also (begrudgingly gdi) plays baseball with Ikki on Saturdays, pretty much his only standing appointment during the week.

10) Their general sense of fashion:

Tony’s pretty casual, preferring t-shirts, hoodies, jeans, and sneakers for comfort. Also, sporting shades even when it’s cloudy, yep. When he has an occasion to dress up, he does so willingly and he cleans up nice. Sure, Pepper dresses him most of the time, but he still knows how to make a sharp suit+tie shine.

11) Do they have any hobbies? Did they come up with these hobbies in Luceti, or was it something they always did?:

The aforementioned tinkering is his major hobby both in Luceti and at home, though he has had more pressing matters that have made him spend less time doing it lately. Generally, however, Tony is building whatever he can with whatever he can get his hands on.

12) Has the situation in Luceti changed their view on certain topics/the way they react to different things?:

To save everyone gobs of tl;dr, the short answer is yes. Tony is much more receptive to friendship and trust since his time in Luceti. His concept of home and his mission have also constantly changed and are in flux currently as he settles back into things after canon update.

13) Do they have a weapon? If so, do they carry it at all times or just under certain circumstances?:

His suit(s), which he currently does not have. Tony’s most recent suit of armor has the unique property of being able to be called to him, so even though he doesn’t carry it with him, he can get it to himself quickly through his actions.

14) Do they have any pets? Would these pets be at their homes, or do they hang out with the character in question?:

HAHA no.

15) Who are their neighbors?:

Houses 39, 40, and CH 4 are closest, making their neighbors the Kingdom Hearts and Angel Beats crew as well as everyone who lives in CH4. :U

16) Who are their best friends in Luceti? How often do they spend time with them and doing what?

“Friend” is kind of a tricky word for Tony as he tends to not put definitions on his relationships like that. Though, there are certainly many people he’s close to: Pepper, of course. Also Buffy, Rogue, Shikamaru, Billy, Jane, Natasha, Clint, Steve, and Ororo, among others that he generally gets along with well.

17) On the flip side, is there anyone they actively don’t get along with? How do they interact, and would people know about this?

There’s a handful of people that Tony enjoys snarking at for snarking’s sake, like Jade, Logan, Gai and Robin. But really, the only person he consistently doesn’t get along with is Loki.

18) Their favorite areas/stores/hang-out locations?:

The Battle Dome and the barracks for sims and training, the smithy for permanently borrowing materials, and Good Spirits when he needs to unwind.

19) Do they belong to any clubs or organizations? Which ones? Do they go regularly, or just occasionally?

There was the flight club and the loosely defined response team once upon a time, but not the only thing Tony really belongs to is the Avengers, his homeworld team. He’s not really a ‘club’ sort of guy. Not that kind of club, anyway.

20) Wing color and how do they deal with their wings?:

Tony’s wings are hot rod red, just like the red in his suit. He hates them, but he digs the color, so he wears clothing with appropriate space for wings to fit through the back.

21) Did they change or grow in any way physically since coming to Luceti?:

Not particularly. ONCE he shaved his beard on a dare. Once. It was a dark time.

22) What do they miss the most from home?:

That’s a tricky question, because his reasons for wanting to go back don’t have so much to do with missing it as feeling like he needs to be there. Of course, he misses his tech (particularly JARVIS) and AUTOMOBILES, and those select few he calls his friends, like Rhodey and Happy. He also misses his fame and wealth, but less so than he used to. Most of all, he misses the sense of freedom that comes from being home. He still can’t help but feel like Luceti is a prison most of the time.

23) What does their handwriting look like? Do they write the way they talk, or is there a clear difference between the two?:

Tony’s handwriting is bold and clean and like. Perma-capslock. He’s less distractible when he writes than when he speaks, since he has to focus on what he’s communicating for longer.

24) Is the way they act in person different from the way they act over the journal system?:

Not particularly. Tony is perhaps a bit more flashy on the journals because it’s more like he’s putting on a show, but that definitely varies depending on who he’s talking to and what he's trying to accomplish.

25) Did they gain/lose any personal goals during their stay in Luceti?:

WELL. During his last stay, he was determined to save everyone in Luceti by building a portal to get people back to where they belonged. It didn’t work! Surprise surprise. Now, his main goal is to get himself and Pepper sorted out. He’s still got that lofty goal of saving people, but it’s not in the forefront of his mind at the moment.

26) Is Luceti a technological upgrade, or downgrade for them? Have they adapted to these changes well?:

DOWNGRADE, big time, especially for him personally. Tony is used to having the resources to build whatever the hell he wants to, and Luceti just doesn’t let him do that. He doesn’t have access to all the conveniences he’s used to, and he misses JARVIS in particular. When he’s got an itch to build things he can make do with the Battle Dome sims, but it’s just not the same. Even after two years, he hasn’t really adjusted.

27) FOR STUDENTS: What is their favorite class? What is their least favorite class? What about their general behavior in school?:

28) FOR DRINKERS: What is their favorite drink? What is their least favorite drink? Do they prefer Good Spirits or Cloud Nine? What's their attitude about and while drinking?:

A cool glass of scotch on the rocks is Tony’s classic standby, least favorite probably like...a margarita or something. He prefers Good Spirits when he’s on his own, and Buffy is his bartender of choice. However, when he’s out on a date, he’ll take Pepper to Cloud Nine. Tony is regular drinker, even though he tries to be more moderate about it given his current condition. He knows he’s prone to overdrink, but he still does it because it’s an easy way for him to unwind.

29) Do they have any special talents? If so, what are they?:

Tony’s most pronounced talents present themselves in his striking genius and technological prowess. He’s probably the best engineer in the world, and his abilities to program and build are second to none. He’s also pretty talented at NOT DYING. And being a smartass.

30) Have they learned any new skills or abilities in Luceti? If so, what are they? Why and how?

Not really. Tony has shied away from magic because it’s magic, and the recent possession event didn’t do much to temper his opinion on that. He doesn’t regularly spar with anyone either, and he hasn’t picked up any new combat skills. He has learned a bit about shifting technology, particularly from the droid sabotage mission, but even that is pretty limited.

31) What kind of habits do they have on drafts? Are they willing to kill or do they prefer to avoid fighting?

Tony fights so noncombatants won’t have to. He tends to stay close to noncombat areas to protect those that can’t protect themselves, and that’s how he’s stomachs fighting in this war that he doesn’t want to be a part of. He is willing to kill, because in his reasoning, if he doesn’t kill them, they’ll just hurt someone else. He prefers to be that absolute line of defense.

32) What kind of habits do they have on missions? What is their reason for going on them? What do they intend to use their points for?

Tony has been on several missions during his Luceti stay, both recurring and special missions. Initially, it was a way for Tony to put his skills to good use and keep himself busy when he started to go stir crazy. Once he started working on the portal with Jane, he used missions as a means to earn points to acquire necessary components for the machine. Now, Tony missions to earn points to buy the Extremis compound to keep Pepper stable, and also to acquire any tech he may need to find a cure for her condition. Tony is usually a decent enough team player on missions; he doesn’t want to jeopardize his own success over something trivial.

33) How long have they been in Luceti? Has that length of time impacted them in any way?:

Creeping up on two years now Luceti time, but with canon updates included, it’s been over four and a half years since Tony first set foot in Luceti. Tony has gone through varying degrees of comfort since he first arrived, and things changed dramatically when Pepper showed up, too. He can’t bring himself to think of this place as home, but he’s willing to admit to himself that he has a home here and people he doesn’t want to say goodbye to permanently. If given the choice, he would still go home, of course, but it wouldn’t be easy.

34) How do they unwind and get back to normal after a brutal experiment, event, or draft?

Depending on the severity, he might just be able to walk it off, or he’ll need Pepper to stabilize him. Tony is liable to bury things deep even if they’re bugging him, so if an experiment gets to him, it’s not always immediately obvious to everyone. He tends to not talk about it, but he’s slowly improving in that regard as well, because he can admit to himself that it helps now.

35) What is their worst experience from an experiment or kidnapping? Were there any that they actually liked?

While some have been simply awkward, there are other experiments that have led to complicated consequences for Tony. The canon AU event the transplanted a lifetime full of memories of Rogue being his adopted daughter into his head was particularly difficult for him to sort through, as well as when he was aged down to nine and had an actual relationship with his dad that WASN’T TERRIBLE. There’s also the amnesia event that made him temporary buds with Loki.

36) Anything else you want to note?:

PREGUNTAS? Headcanon-y questions are awesome, so.

Steve Rogers

[personal profile] neversurrender 2013-06-20 07:05 am (UTC)(link)
1) Height: Around 6 feet.

2) Weight: Around 200lbs.

3) Eye color/Hair Color: His eyes are blue but sometimes look green in certain lights. His hair is dark blond.

4) Age: If you don’t count the time he was frozen, he’s about twenty-five years old. If you do count it, he’s closer to ninety years old.

5) Physical features: He’s pretty heavily muscled but not in a body builder or pro-wrestler kind of way. Basically he’s big enough to be noticed but not big enough to cause everyone to stare. except for all the ladies and dudes staring in appreciation He also doesn’t have any visible scars despite being a soldier/super hero, which people might find surprising if they don’t know about the serum.

6) Voice: Here.

7) Who do they live with and how are chores divided in their house/apartment?: Currently he lives with Bucky Barnes and, more recently, Henry Mills. There isn’t really a division of labor as they all mostly pick up after themselves (Henry typically needs a little help). But, as Bucky is usually the one cooking, Steve typically does the dishes. Everyone takes care of their own laundry. They try to pick one day of the week to do general house-keeping such as vacuuming and dusting, and they switch jobs each time.

8) Their favorite (and least favorite, if you want) foods and who does the cooking in their house/apartment?: Bucky does most of the cooking. Steve can only make stuff like toast and microwavable food. Steve also has a giant stomach and will eat anything. Really, he will. His favorite foods include Adele’s French toast and Bucky’s pancakes. His least favorite foods are…the ones that he’s forced to cook. Because he’s terrible at it.

9) What they do during an average day in Luceti: Steve starts every day by getting up at 6am and going for a run around the village. Afterwards he goes back to his apartment for a shower and some breakfast. Some days he hangs out around for the apartment for a few hours, either doing house work or something else to pass the time (reading, TV). At least four times a week he heads to the Battle Dome for some light sparring/training. He takes students every once in a while as their schedules allow. In the late afternoons he likes to sit by the fountain and work on his sketches, some of which he donates to Pepper’s art gallery. He stops by Seventh Heaven at least twice a week for a drink and a bite to eat, usually around lunch time.

10) Their general sense of fashion: Outside of uniform, Steve’s style is very comfort based. He likes khaki pants with button-up shirts or jeans with a t-shirt as casual wear. For sparring he typically wears sweat pants and a stretched out t-shirt. His style is clearly some kind of 40s fashion and modern fashion blend.

11) Do they have any hobbies? Did they come up with these hobbies in Luceti, or was it something they always did?: His hobbies extend to drawing sketches and keeping a flexible work out schedule. The former is something he’s always done since he discovered as a kid that he had some real talent at it. The later he began after waking up in the future as a way to keep in shape and to give him something to do when he wasn’t playing catch-up with history.

12) Has the situation in Luceti changed their view on certain topics/the way they react to different things?: His views have mainly remained intact and haven’t changed much, if at all. His reactions to certain things have become more severe; his guilt, his fear of losing everything again, the idea of never being able to die. This place has messed with him more than he’d care to admit. Ever.

13) Do they have a weapon? If so, do they carry it at all times or just under certain circumstances?: Steve has his shield. He only carries it when he means to use it during a sparring session, when he goes on missions or drafts, or during times of increased danger in the village.

14) Do they have any pets? Would these pets be at their homes, or do they hang out with the character in question?: No pets. He wouldn’t mind having a dog someday.

15) Who are their neighbors?: Their only neighbor is Aldreios Neruyl, whom Steve has not met.

16) Who are their best friends in Luceti? How often do they spend time with them and doing what? Bucky is his best friend and they spend time together every day exchanging sarcasm, watching movies, or sparring. Other close friends are the Avengers, Pepper Potts, Adele LeBlanc, and Luke Skywalker. Natasha and he like to tease Bucky. Pepper and he sometimes discuss art. Adele often cooks for him and they talk about art, Obi-Wan, and whatever else comes up. Luke and he have interesting conversations. He plays darts with Clint and usually loses. Tony and he are…doing very well at tolerating each other. There’s also Henry, Teddy, and Billy but those are his pseudo children.

17) On the flip side, is there anyone they actively don’t get along with? How do they interact, and would people know about this? Loki. Their interactions can basically be summed up as “Loki likes to press Steve’s buttons, Steve lets him, and then spends the whole conversation struggling not to punch him in the face”. And if you’re character doesn’t know about this where have they been? 8|

18) Their favorite areas/stores/hang-out locations?: The Battle Dome, Seventh Heaven, by the fountain, Pepper’s art gallery, Good Spirits, Item Shop, and Natasha’s coffee shop once it opens.

19) Do they belong to any clubs or organizations? Which ones? Do they go regularly, or just occasionally? He’s a member of the art club but he doesn’t go as often as he would like. Typically he’ll manage to show up once every two or three meetings.

20) Wing color and how do they deal with their wings?: The color of his wings are red, white, and blue striped. After being in Luceti for nearly a year, Steve is pretty used to his wings and doesn’t bother to cover them up. Generally he just leaves them be.

21) Did they change or grow in any way physically since coming to Luceti?: Nope. He’s managed to maintain his weight. He’s fully grown and probably won’t get any taller. He also cuts his hair regularly before it can grow too long.

22) What do they miss the most from home?: He misses having a real purpose. Back home he had just finished his first run as a member of the Avengers. He was in the process of becoming an agent for SHIELD. He finally had a direction. But in Luceti he sometimes feels worse than useless when it comes to figuring out ways to leave as the ideas are typically beyond him. He’s just a soldier but it seems like the only use he has for his skills here are fighting the Malnosso’s battles and he resents that fact.

23) What does their handwriting look like? Do they write the way they talk, or is there a clear difference between the two?: His writing is neat and legible. He does, for the most part, write the way he talks. His cursive, however, is a little hard to read and his letters tend to merge too close together.

24) Is the way they act in person different from the way they act over the journal system?: No. Steve is just…Steve. He acts the same regardless of it interactions are in person or not.

25) Did they gain/lose any personal goals during their stay in Luceti?: He’s gained only one goal: to one day help get everyone home. Somehow.

26) Is Luceti a technological upgrade, or downgrade for them? Have they adapted to these changes well?: Definite upgrade. However Steve is a quick learner and has adapted very well to the new technology.

27) FOR STUDENTS: What is their favorite class? What is their least favorite class? What about their general behavior in school?: N/A

28) FOR DRINKERS: What is their favorite drink? What is their least favorite drink? Do they prefer Good Spirits or Cloud Nine? What's their attitude about and while drinking?: N/A

29) Do they have any special talents? If so, what are they?: He can draw really well. His specialties are landscapes and nature, but he can draw people as well. He’s also an expert shield thrower and he hits his targets about ninety-seven percent of the time.

30) Have they learned any new skills or abilities in Luceti? If so, what are they? Why and how? No….not really, no.

31) What kind of habits do they have on drafts? Are they willing to kill or do they prefer to avoid fighting? Steve is generally completely silent during the prep and re-locating portions of the draft. He uses that time to get him head into battle mode. He goes into every draft hoping to avoid killing, but he won’t hesitate to do so if he feels there’s no other way.

32) What kind of habits do they have on missions? What is their reason for going on them? What do they intend to use their points for? Same as on drafts, he takes some time to get his head into the game. His reason for going is to rack up points, that way if he ever needs them, or if any of his friends ever needs them, he’ll have them. It’s also a way for him to use his training and to keep himself fresh.

33) How long have they been in Luceti? Has that length of time impacted them in any way?: Steve has been in Luceti for about eleven and a half months. At this point he’s managed to settle into his new…reluctant to call it…home. However he still wants to do what he can to help people return home. But on the other hand a part of him wants to stay because at least here he can be with people from his past and the people in his present. Once he goes home he’ll lose Bucky and Peggy all over again.

34) How do they unwind and get back to normal after a brutal experiment, event, or draft? Depending on how bad the situation was he’ll either hole up in his room/apartment and try to avoid people. Or he’ll spend a lot of time at the Battle Dome…also trying to avoid people. Basically he just tries to avoid all interact. He’s not very good with sharing.

35) What is their worst experience from an experiment or kidnapping? Were there any that they actually liked? The worst experiment he experienced was having the serum taken away and being reverted back to his old, smaller and sickly self. It did a number on his self-esteem to say the least.

36) Anything else you want to note?: I thought there might be a question about romantic relationships but there isn’t so…Steve is dating Peggy Carter and he adores her. They spend a lot of their time having dinner dates every couple of weeks while Peggy tries to teach Steve to dance. He’s made some progress but he still doesn’t know where to move his feet half the time.

Otono-Tachibana Makie | Blade of the Immortal

[personal profile] therewerefifty 2013-06-20 06:06 am (UTC)(link)
1) Height: Ugh this is hard to work out as nobody has a height listed in this series. I'm going to go with about 5'7" as she's not short, but many of the men are still taller than she is.

2) Weight: Slender; she's canonically referred to as frail and only gets worse as the series goes on, sooo. I'm not so good at working out what that should be. Slightly (very slightly) underweight.

3) Eye color/Hair Color: Eyes are dark blue/grey to black, hair colour is deep brown.

4) Age: 24.

5) Physical features: Her skin is notably pale. ROFL the man she's in love with flatteringly described her complexion as "skin blue-white like something dead". Her eyes have been described in the series as anything from "sad, so sad" to "jesus lady, I can't stand how you always look like you wish you were dead, quit that B|"... so I guess walking corpse is a good description...? She's considered really attractive anyway. Go figure.

6) Voice: You can hear her voice here. Though don't watch too far >_> Anime adaptation is kinda terrible and inaccurate.

7) Who do they live with and how are chores divided in their house/apartment?: She lives in house castle 44 with Saori, Helios, and several others I'm not entirely sure of because Makie hasn't met them and they don't appear to be updated on the housing page. She keeps utterly to herself if she can manage it though unless coaxed from her room by ice cream someone being friendly at her, so I suppose it doens't matter too much. (But I'd love her to meet her other housemates so please sing out. |D;) As for chores, she'd certainly offer to do her share and likely does so.

8) Their favorite (and least favorite, if you want) foods and who does the cooking in their house/apartment?: I believe Saori and Helios do a lot of the cooking, which Makie is thankful for because she isn't so crash hot at this. As for favourites, she's uh. Never given it much thought. Food is a necessary staple of life, she'll eat what's available. She does greatly enjoy tea and has a preference for foods she actually recognises, i.e. Japanese in nature.

9) What they do during an average day in Luceti: She works every day at Seventh Heaven as a dishwasher from early afternoon to early evening and trains in the early evening hours until full dark (at least in summer; when the nights get longer she'll train in the mornings instead.) She'll go up to the farmland in the mornings if an extra pair of hands is needed for anything, and in the hours between full dark and 11-ish she'll be sitting quietly in her room either reading or playing the shamisen. Any spare time around those times will generally be spent walking through and around the village or sitting somewhere peaceful.

10) Their general sense of fashion: Makie wears a short-sleeved kimono bound tightly at the waist that's less full in the lower half and parts much higher up the leg than a usual kimono for freedom of movement, although this isn't terribly noticeable when she's just walking quietly around town. She sometimes wears a white shawl (as seen in the icon), and if she's not wearing it herself, it will be wrapped around her shamisen to protect it from the elements. Currently this is all she really has in Luceti; she's not been here long, and coming from her background it's clear that she had little clothing anyway. (Must... get new clothes... at some point.) When she gets more clothes, though, they'll likely be along the same design, a hanten jacket to wear for winter, and maybe a long-sleeved more decorative kimono for nicer occasions >.> Maybe. Eventually.

11) Do they have any hobbies? Did they come up with these hobbies in Luceti, or was it something they always did?: She plays the shamisen, though rarely in public. In Luceti she has been introduced to books and is reading her way through various Japanese history books.

12) Has the situation in Luceti changed their view on certain topics/the way they react to different things?: She hasn't been here long enough, but Luceti is a vastly different environment to the one she left, and she's torn between enjoying it and not allowing herself to because she shouldn't get used to it/doesn't deserve it, cheer up emo kid. :| Over time, she'll relax more and more into it as the culture shock fades and thus become a lot warmer and possibly more open with people.

13) Do they have a weapon? If so, do they carry it at all times or just under certain circumstances?: YES INDEEDY. On both counts. Just as she carries her shamisen everywhere, she carries her weapon everywhere. Like so. (Yes, even the manga-ka admits he has no idea how that shamisen still plays with a weapon inside it, so just. Go with it. >_>a I generally rule that this is one of the very reasons she only plays it at home.)

14) Do they have any pets? Would these pets be at their homes, or do they hang out with the character in question?: N/A

15) Who are their neighbors?: Katniss Everdeen, Richard Sharpe, Primrose Everdeen on one side and a ... bunch of ponies on the other. 8|a (HEY PRIM, LET'S WALK TO WORK TOGETHER OR SOMETHING.)

16) Who are their best friends in Luceti? How often do they spend time with them and doing what? Makie isn't crash hot at the making friends thing. At the moment, the people she likely feels the most comfortable with are Saori and Prim, though she rarely sees Prim outside of work-- they just occasionally chat there. Saori and Makie often have tea or play music together, and just talk.

17) On the flip side, is there anyone they actively don’t get along with? How do they interact, and would people know about this? Thus far, the only person who's actually grated on her nerves (inasmuch as this is possible) is Vash. He's a little too ... abrasively pushy when it comes to flirting.

18) Their favorite areas/stores/hang-out locations?: The teahouse, the memory garden, and she does like taking walks through the forest.

19) Do they belong to any clubs or organizations? Which ones? Do they go regularly, or just occasionally? N/A.

20) Wing color and how do they deal with their wings?: Makie's still uncomfortable with these. She took some time altering the back of her kimono so that her wings could be unrestricted. They are a deep, dark red darkening to black at the tips.

21) Did they change or grow in any way physically since coming to Luceti?: Her hair has grown very slightly longer. She only cut it off three days before arriving in Luceti, so it had a sort of freshly shorn look and now looks a lot tidier at the ends. She won't let it grow longer than its current short bob, though.

22) What do they miss the most from home?: Nothing. B|

...oh okay, she misses Anotsu. Kind of in love with him and all. But she'd already walked away from that relationship before arrival, so she'd have missed him at home, too.

23) What does their handwriting look like? Do they write the way they talk, or is there a clear difference between the two?: It's very neat and probably comes across as cautious. While Makie learned calligraphy as a small girl, that's not the same as using an actual pen or pencil :|a So her penmanship is sort of ...new to her and she's slow in that way of trying to be as neat/graceful as possible.

24) Is the way they act in person different from the way they act over the journal system?: Not really. Makie rarely uses the journals and only occasionally remembers that others might use them for important announcements, so she looks in on them every few days. She's unlikely to use them if she can manage it (though amusingly her next post is slated to be one. Oh well.)

25) Did they gain/lose any personal goals during their stay in Luceti?: UH WELL. Her personal goal at home was to find her father, murder him, and then kill herself.

...yeah uh. She's not doing that here. :Db

26) Is Luceti a technological upgrade, or downgrade for them? Have they adapted to these changes well?: It's an upgrade. JFC the lift and the electricity and the battledome and the -- someone introduce her to movies. Go on. She's actually dealing with it okay, inasmuch as everything is so chaotic and strange in this place to her-- Makie's just decided not to think too hard on it. (She loves running water though. Mmmyes.)

27) FOR STUDENTS: N/A

28) FOR DRINKERS: What is their favorite drink? What is their least favorite drink? Do they prefer Good Spirits or Cloud Nine? What's their attitude about and while drinking?: Makie isn't much of a drinker. She may occasionally have sake at some kind of gathering in the future, but really. Tea.

29) Do they have any special talents? If so, what are they?: She's a prodigious fighter (likely a kinesthetic genius) and is so fast and graceful in battle that when she kills, she never gets any of the blood splatter on her clothes. She also writes songs for the shamisen which were considered beautiful by those who heard them, if sort of gloomy and heavy and sad.

30) Have they learned any new skills or abilities in Luceti? If so, what are they? Why and how? Dish washing. mo_om

...hush. I'm sure that's important.

31) What kind of habits do they have on drafts? Are they willing to kill or do they prefer to avoid fighting? She hasn't been on one yet. I think it'd depend on the type of draft and who was on it, honestly... I could see her staying close to the medical area and only fighting if a defence is needed, or if there are those out there she likes and wants to look out for she'll take a more active role.

32) What kind of habits do they have on missions? What is their reason for going on them? What do they intend to use their points for? She's unlikely to ever go on these.

33) How long have they been in Luceti? Has that length of time impacted them in any way?: (IE. getting used to the place, not wanting to leave, being less/more inclined to do something about their situation, so on) She's been here six weeks. Makie's still getting used to the place.

34) How do they unwind and get back to normal after a brutal experiment, event, or draft? (IE. do they spend time on their own, go drink away their troubles, confide in their friends, and so on.) Hard to say given lack of experience, but I don't think Makie will ever really have an issue. She hit the despair event horizon more than once at home, so I doubt anything in Luceti that's nasty will have a lasting impression on her.

35) What is their worst experience from an experiment or kidnapping? Were there any that they actually liked? N/A

36) Anything else you want to note?: Makie is (as is probably evident) a woman who hates herself and considers herself shameful for even existing, and the longer she stays in Luceti the less toxic her attitude about life will become. I brought her to Luceti specifically so that she could learn to think outside the box and be happy. How...un-sadistic of me. 8|a But yes, anyone who wants to plot with me at all in regards to anything from the mundane to the more dramatic is more than welcome.

seleniahymn: (With a gentle surprise.)

Tear

[personal profile] seleniahymn 2013-06-20 08:39 pm (UTC)(link)
1) Height:
Prior to arrival she was 162cm, and since then has grown to barely reach 164cm, barely reaching 5'4". That is as tall as she will grow.

2) Weight:
Still at 50 kilograms, rounding to 110 lbs. Most of it is muscle.

3) Eye color/Hair Color:
Her eyes are blue, we can determine that much, though often they can appear from medium to light blue, depending on the lighting. They are always clear, and though they are somewhat slanted they are capable of wide-eyed innocent expressions. Regarding her hair, it is a very light brown, almost tan. It has been described before as milk in coffee or hot chocolate.

4) Age:
AULDRANT YEARS. Upon arrival in Luceti, Tear was fifteen years old and twelve months, with thirty-eight days. She turned sixteen years old on December 9th of 2010, and as of now is seventeen years old as of January 15th, 2013. Her eighteenth birthday will fall on February 19th, 2015. In most of her icons she was 15 years old, since they're taken from canon sources. Does she look like a 15/17 year old to you?

5) Physical features: (Anything that stands out about them, especially if the icons don't seem to show it)
While it's not so common that it warrants icon changes, she is starting to pin her bangs and tie her hair back a little more. That's about the only difference.

6) Voice:
When I hear Tear, it is a mixture of her English and Japanese VAs – it encompasses the deep, hard-working and cool soldier of the English version who still slips into the hesitant, more softly-spoken and awkward teenage girl she truly is that is more prominent in the Japanese version. Both sides are in conflict with each other as she tries to gain her own identity independent of others and what was expected of her, while at the same time resolving to help others to the best of her ability. Most will encounter the soldier at first because that's the person she is, serious and to the point, but those who have become closer, we're talking really close CR such as housemates while in privacy, will find themselves listening to the teenager who had to grow up too fast more, whether it's on purpose or not.

7) Who do they live with and how are chores divided in their house/apartment?:
Chores and cooking are shared among herself, Nephry and Anise these days I believe. She doesn't mind this arrangement, or working alongside the others on occasion due to her nature of always looking out for and caring for others. As for handiwork, she can for some minor repairs...? But nothing spectacular and she'd be willing to hand it over to someone with more experience.

8) Their favorite (and least favorite, if you want) foods and who does the cooking in their house/apartment?:
Tear and Anise mostly divide cooking duties, with Anise doing it more often simply because she might be more used to doing that. If there are deserts in the household, you can usually bet Tear made them due to her fondness of sweets, and with more members in the household she can get away with making them more. Her favourite foods involve apples and milk, such as apple pie and cake while she also has a fondness for beef stew. Her least favourite is carrots, but she will still eat them accordingly.

9) What they do during an average day in Luceti:
Every day starts early, just before sunrise which is followed by silent meditation for ten to fifteen minutes, or writing in her personal journal. After that, she checks the village journal to see if anything has occurred while she was sleeping, and she goes on to get ready for the day by first checking on her housemates, not disturbing them if they are still sleeping. After her share of morning household chores and walking Colonel she proceeds to the library for study and reading and checks out any books that may interest her, and come lunchtime she will more often than not come by the tea shop to share it with Frey, the two taking turns over who makes lunch. Otherwise, she has lunch with Luke, or once in a while just has tea with a friend. Afterward she may pass by the Battle Dome for practice or takes the time to train and play with Colonel, depending on the day, then takes to walking around the village afterward with or without him and occasionally checking out the shops. If there are any students that need her help with tutoring she helps them at this time after school, or else is attempting to form stronger bonds with Hyt and Sona or she might head home to spend time with her housemates, which is when Colonel is dropped off if he spent the day with her. Before and after sunset is spent at Cherry Blossom Hill where she communicates with Nala and reflects on whatever is crossing her mind. Afterwards she returns home for supper and documents the day in her personal journal, then spends more time with her housemates and sometimes has chats with Nephry not long before bed. Thanks to the number of people she helps and tutors there can be quite some variety to her schedule, and she does prefer that.

10) Their general sense of fashion:
Tear has been unable to break the habit of wearing her Oracle Knights uniform completely, though from time to time she does wear something else. These are usually outfits of brown, warm tones and darker colours, the kind of palette you would expect when you think of fall, though every so often you will spot her in the luxe pales clothing style and colours. She dresses modestly, which usually entails covering her legs and arms with long-sleeved shirts, pants and maybe even long skirts. Sometimes she accessorizes with small pieces of jewelry such as pendants or bracelets, and scarves are becoming part of her wardrobe for those days she feels like covering the minor scars at the base of her neck. Though she does wish to wear more feminine clothing every once in a while, it is not something she has been able to achieve of her own volition yet. Her hair is almost always down, though once in a while it is tied back at the nape in a low ponytail and her hands are almost always covered with gloves of some sort, so to be able to come in contact with her bare hands might be an indication of closeness and trust. With her body type and features, however, she would be able to pass off nearly any outfit spectacularly.

11) Do they have any hobbies? Did they come up with these hobbies in Luceti, or was it something they always did?:
Tear continues her studious habits in Luceti, as well as singing privately to herself or close friends every so often. She has taken up cooking a little more, and has developed a fondness for watching the sky and the flow of water across the rivers in the village.

12) Has the situation in Luceti changed their view on certain topics/the way they react to different things?:
In some ways yes, and in others no. While Tear has always been patient, this is the first time she's really been forced to think about her own wants and needs, rather than the sake of others or the greater good. While she has become more lax on certain social topics and situations, she is still a sensible and shy young woman who still struggles to understand some humours.

13) Do they have a weapon? If so, do they carry it at all times or just under certain circumstances?:
Tear continues to at least hold her throwing knives on herself, though not always on the garterbelt if she's not wearing her uniform that day. She keeps her staff strapped to her back, side or beneath her skirt whenever possible in the event it is needed, and she is always ready to cast her hymns and is learning to use the Filial magic more quickly and efficiently.

14) Do they have any pets? Would these pets be at their homes, or do they hang out with the character in question?:
Tear has one pet, a tan Shiba Inu she was received as a gift for humouring the elves during Christmas CY6. His name is Colonel (+ Arthur, blame Layton), and he is roughly nine months old now. While he is Tear's pet, several of the other house members have also had a hand in raising him, and there are several days a week when he accompanies her as she does her errands if only for a short time, usually on a leash because he can be rather mischievous as Shiba Inu are prone to. She is very fond of him, and does occasionally spoil him even though she has been strict in his training and discipline. He's also more protective of Ion, since most of his time in House One he has only seen him sick and bedridden.

15) Who are their neighbors?:
Her neighbours are Houses 2 and 8 – occupying House 2 are Spock and James Kirk, while House 8 is filled by Yuan and Kratos Aurion. Further down the road are Houses 6 and 7, with House 6 being the One Piece House while House 7 is occupied by Buffy Summers. She doesn't know any of her neighbours well since House One is really out of the way, which means this has to be changed yup.

16) Who are their best friends in Luceti? How often do they spend time with them and doing what?
Her closest friends are the people of House One, which makes up most of the Abyss cast. She holds them all very dear, and is always willing to reach out to them. She sees them every day since they live together, and most of their time is spent simply chatting. Outside of the house she has her boyfriend and best friend Frey, whom she makes a point to try and visit every day and she messages them if they were unable to meet up.

17) On the flip side, is there anyone they actively don’t get along with? How do they interact, and would people know about this?
For all her time here, there is no one she doesn't get along with and she's neutral to most of the other villagers for the most part. Yes, even Sync, when he's not attacking her friends.

18) Their favorite areas/stores/hang-out locations?:
Her favourite locations have become the cherry blossom tree hill and the bridge closest to her home overlooking the river. They are both places of significance and peace for her. Every so often you might find her rummaging through the clothing shops or the bazaar in a secretive hunt for cute and pretty things, and she's been hanging out more around the tea shop. While only one or two people know about it, she's working on growing a selenia garden on a tree not far behind House One.

[personal profile] calmbeforethe 2013-06-20 12:29 pm (UTC)(link)
1) Height:
Comics canon has her list her height as 5'11", but that's without the high heels she prefers to wear!

2) Weight:
I'd approximate her weight somewhere in the range of 130-135 lbs.

3) Eye color/Hair Color:
Ororo's eyes are blue! But they glow white when she's using her powers. Her hair is white.

4) Age:
She turned 30 last January!

5) Physical features:
Nothing of note!

6) Voice:
Helpful link here and here! Evo!Storm has a strong voice, low (she's an alto) and not quite sultry but she can if she wants to be!

7) Who do they live with and how are chores divided in their house/apartment?:
The X-Men live over at House 16. That's Wolverine, Rogue, Nightcrawler, X-23 and Mia! Chores are pretty much divided evenly, I guess. Everyone's responsible for cleaning their own rooms, doing their own laundry... and if you make a mess, you also have to clean it up. I imagine it works the same way at the Mansion back home.

8) Their favorite (and least favorite, if you want) foods and who does the cooking in their house/apartment?:
People cook when they feel like cooking! But since Kurt and Logan are pretty much happy with chips or pizza, I'd think that Storm and Rogue do most of it, with Mia pitching in to help now and then. Ororo doesn't have any favorite foods though. She's easy to please, but will tend to pass on red meat if she can help it (meaning she’ll eat it, but also be perfectly happy with a simple salad. She’s not vegetarian or anything!)

9) What they do during an average day in Luceti:
Ororo starts every morning bright and early flying up to the clouds and greet the sunrise! She gets back to the house in time to see if anyone wants anything for breakfast. Then it's off to the Battle Dome to do a daily run of Danger Room sessions, and if she can spare the time, stop by the flower shop to say hello to Raine and check out what's new. She tends to her garden in the late afternoons. Probably takes care of dinner, too, but usually has free time in the late afternoon to evening to visit or meet up with whoever. Sometimes she goes on evening flights!

10) Their general sense of fashion:
Just because she doesn’t have the same opinion on nudity as the rest of the West doesn’t mean she doesn’t like dressing up! Ororo likes to dress well. Of course, given that she’s an instructor at the Institute she has to keep a certain image. She’s usually seen in modest (but not frumpy) attire. Slacks, blouses. Skirts. She seems to favor pinks and purples (how girly!), but she also really likes neutral earth tones like deep green, beige… Her favorite color is plum.

She also rly rly likes heels, ok. They make her legs look amazing.

11) Do they have any hobbies? Did they come up with these hobbies in Luceti, or was it something they always did?:
Gardening. Flying! Playing the piano. Ororo likes to sit somewhere quiet and read, too. She has a secret collection of trashy romance novels… Mostly things she's already liked to do even before coming to Luceti.

12) Has the situation in Luceti changed their view on certain topics/the way they react to different things?:
Ororo's never really been in a war, before. It's testing her morals a little bit. She's slowly changing, I think, from being someone who will not tolerate killing to understanding that in the situation that they are in now - mostly during drafts or missions - there are times that it's a necessity. She still does her very best to incapacitate, not kill, especially when an enemy is at her mercy.

13) Do they have a weapon? If so, do they carry it at all times or just under certain circumstances?:
Nope! Ororo relies on her mutation to fight and stuff. Sometimes she'll have a knife though, but not usually.

14) Do they have any pets? Would these pets be at their homes, or do they hang out with the character in question?:
Wolverine must be fed and watered daily and prefers to bathe on a weekly basis, sometimes less often, so keeping him clean can be a challenge. Must be allowed to wander freely or gets cranky and upset. In which case, provide cigars and/or beer and/or hockey. No pets, nope...

15) Who are their neighbors?:
The X-Men live at House 16. Next door to them at #15 are Rin and Shiemi, the former of whom takes Logan's classes at the Dome. They share a backyard, and a swimming pool (IIRC!)

Across the way at #17 are Belle and Beast, at #18 Sheena and Suki and at #19 are Daria and Quinn.

16) Who are their best friends in Luceti? How often do they spend time with them and doing what?
Well, her closest friend would probably be Logan. But in terms of Luceti CR, it might be Saori? They fly around every now and then and enjoy the rain when it's the season for it haha. She also likes meeting up with Pepper and/or Natasha ocassionally, sometimes Raine at the flower shop since she goes there a lot.

17) On the flip side, is there anyone they actively don’t get along with? How do they interact, and would people know about this?
Loki is a butt. He's a supervillain who blew up New York because it was fun and also he's dating one of Ororo's students and that's not cool!!

18) Their favorite areas/stores/hang-out locations?:
The open sky is her favorite place! Also the flower shop and ocassionally Cloud Nine, for the ambiance and the chance to play with the pianos there if she has the chance.

19) Do they belong to any clubs or organizations? Which ones? Do they go regularly, or just occasionally?
She just joined Billy and Teddy's LGBT club The Alliance! I don't think they have like regular meetings or anything, but she does offer to help when they organize things. Like the upcoming Speed Dating event!

20) Wing color and how do they deal with their wings?:
Ororo's wings are white, like her hair! She tries to keep them clean, usually folded under her cape when in uniform (because they're a liability.) Otherwise she tailors her clothes so they stick out of them for comfort. But the Valentine's event had her discover that it's got other uses too. 'A'

21) Did they change or grow in any way physically since coming to Luceti?:
Nope, she's a woman grown.

22) What do they miss the most from home?:
The rest of her family, including the X-Men. Probably especially Charles and Hank, Scott and Jean and Kitty.

23) What does their handwriting look like? Do they write the way they talk, or is there a clear difference between the two?:
I usually use Monotype Corsiva when I do written tags for her! But I imagine her handwriting to look more like this. Ororo writes much like how she speaks, in correct grammar. English was a third language for her (after Arabic and Swahili), so she's learned to speak and write it in the "correct" way.

24) Is the way they act in person different from the way they act over the journal system?:
There isn't very much difference, no. Ororo speaks well, and tactfully.

25) Did they gain/lose any personal goals during their stay in Luceti?:
Well, back home her main goal really is to save the world from Apocalypse and fight for mutant rights. She can't do either of that here in Luceti! Also, she's been told she's going to die in her future, so that kind of gets in the way of things. She still wants to go back though, and do what she can even if it means sacrificing her life for it.

26) Is Luceti a technological upgrade, or downgrade for them? Have they adapted to these changes well?:
A bit of a downgrade! Luceti has electricity now and state of the art tech in the Battle Dome, but no cars, no sleek jets, no cable TV, no radio... She's adjusted well enough. She lived very simply before her time in America, so this isn't too bad for her at all.

Ororo isn't much of a drinker! She does do social drinks now and then, though. A rum and coke if she's in the mood (but only one!), but usually an appletini or some similarly fruity drink with an umbrella. Generally the ambiance of Cloud Nine appeals to her more, but more from her circle of friends frequent Good Spirits, so she hangs out there too.

29) Do they have any special talents? If so, what are they?:
... She's a weather witch! She can control the weather! Also she plays the piano! And she can do a mean Tina Turner when she's had enough to drink

30) Have they learned any new skills or abilities in Luceti? If so, what are they? Why and how?
Ororo is brushing up on her hand to hand combat, a necessity because a lot of drafts and missions have had her stripped of her mutation. The last thing she wants is to be helpless!

31) What kind of habits do they have on drafts? Are they willing to kill or do they prefer to avoid fighting?
Ororo is becoming a little more willing to kill, something she is never going to get used to, or enjoy. But she is going to fight, especially to protect her family and teammates and anyone who needs help or can't protect themselves. That doesn't make taking lives easier, of course.

32) What kind of habits do they have on missions? What is their reason for going on them? What do they intend to use their points for?
Ororo sometimes uses missions to learn more about what's going on outside Luceti, from people from the other enclosures. She doesn't really count on learning about the higher-ups (unless it's a big mission), but she'll take what chances she can. The mission points don't mean very much to her, but once in a while she finds a good use for them (like having an X-Uniform for Mia made!)

33) How long have they been in Luceti? Has that length of time impacted them in any way?:
Though her previous stays only lasted a couple of months each, coming back a third time has made it easier to adjust to Luceti life. She knows it's possible to return home and come back, so she hasn't lost hope about that. Also she doesn't discount what's happening here in Luceti as just a dream/not real or anything, given that she remembers being here whenever she's here. So she makes the most of her situation! And continues to fight because fighting for a cause is a thing she does.

34) How do they unwind and get back to normal after a brutal experiment, event, or draft?
GARDENING it's very therapeutic. Used one way, her powers can be destructive and brutal and terrifying. Used in another, they nurture and give life, and that is a huge comfort for her.

35) What is their worst experience from an experiment or kidnapping? Were there any that they actually liked?
She can't decide if the Valentine's event was a violation or not!!! Because yes she slept with certain people she liked but it wasn't entirely, necessarily willingly and that just isn't cool. The possession event turned her soooort of against the people most important to her too, and that isn't an experience she'd like to repeat.

The Scavenger Event one was mostly harmless and actually kind of fun, though. The cool costumes (or lack thereof, in some cases) amused her!

36) Anything else you want to note?:
Here is a post I made so I can keep things about my headcanon of Evo!Storm's history and origins consistent when I need to reference it somewhere!
wise_maiden: (until you opened up my eyes)

Raine Sage 1/2

[personal profile] wise_maiden 2013-06-20 08:26 pm (UTC)(link)
1) Height: 5'5

2) Weight: 108 lbs

3) Eye color/Hair Color: Blue eyes, pale silver/white hair

4) Age: 23 +5 luceti years (roughly 28/9 by the end of this year I feel like these calculations are off somehow)

5) Physical features: Appearance wise, she's very youthful looking, as if she's in her early twenties at the most, despite her mature behavior and hair color. Her hair is always covering her ears, to hide that they're subtly pointed. At this point in her life, she won't be aging visibly for a long, long time. She's pale, thin, though others tend to comment on her physical beauty.

6) Voice: Here. More emotion (it's possible) here. And for ruin mode (mildly, anyway), here.

7) Who do they live with and how are chores divided in their house/apartment?:

Currently, her only housemate is Albert ([personal profile] chikaidestroyer). The tasks were originally spearheaded by Albert and it's evolved to somewhat of a mutual splitting of work. Raine's learned to get better at household chores over time under his instruction, in spite of her hilarious packrat/hoarding tendencies in her own space and previous inability to do basic household chores. The house tends to be neat anyway, it's just the two of them.

Her brother Genis handled most of this at home (where he's once stated that she wasn't able to even do laundry without his help).

8) Their favorite foods and who does the cooking in their house/apartment?:

Raine doesn't have particular "favorites" when it comes to foods, since her brother spoiled her by turning out to be a good chef, not to mention the years of not really knowing where a meal would come from, so more of just coming to accept that and becoming used to not eating that often anyway unless prompted. Though if she had any significant preference, it probably would be for lighter meals, like chicken, salad, miso soup, stirfrys and spiced dishes - but her signature cooking ingredient is lemon--though she favors other citrus fruits as well, as she learned from a young age that citrus is healthy and keeps other fruit from spoiling. She's not a fan of mushrooms.

She usually doesn't cook, but she's been getting gradually more competent at basic meals with help from Sanji and Albert, things like sandwiches and salads and so forth - but she's far from ever being a primary chef in any household.

That said Albert handles the brunt of the cooking in #42, though Raine tries her hand here and there when it's allowed or on spare occasions. WIth Albert's recent condition over the past few months, she had actually spent more time cooking, as well as ordering from the restaurant on nights they were both too tired.

9) What they do during an average day in Luceti: :

When school is in session, she teaches (roughly from 9:00ish-2:30 pm, from Monday to Thursday).

She works in the flower shop during her off hours or whenever she's feeling inclined (earlier in the day on fridays and saturdays, later hours during the week), and her tasks include tending to the available plants, categorizing new seeds or saplings that may have been found, among other things.

She helps Law when needed with his medical lessons at the Battledome, and sometimes assists at the clinics when they're understaffed.

Aside from that she finds ways to keep herself occupied in some form. She keeps an eye out on the journals, takes notes of various going-ons (experiments, climate changes, etc) in Luceti, spends some time with Noishe and Astrid, occasionally seen riding. (Of note, this stable is near community building 7 but is smaller than the one that's filled with the horses that are for everyone's riding, as it was built before there were more horses available to other villagers).

She also can be seen visiting the tea shop, library and item shop, on any given afternoon when there's time, or errand running, not to mention looking in on the people that she's friendly with. She drops in on the battle dome occasionally as well for some training, and keeping her monster-list up to date.

10) Their general sense of fashion:

here and here for visuals.

Raine tends to be fairly practical when it comes to clothing, mostly because she's used to having to be prepared for travel at a moment's notice. Most of her clothing is sensible, but often loose-fitting. Shirts, and pants, and even rarer, skirts on occasion. Whatever the outfit, she usually is wearing her robes over them (which tend to be brightly colored - though most familiar is the orange) although she has a few variations of them by now with assistance of Shiki). In colder months she will wear a heavier coat or a cloak, or both.

She usually has a pair of thin gloves on her hands, at least when she's working or in battle. Sometimes she changes out her usual white boots for brown or black ones that are, well, less unique, and when it comes to fancy occasions, she still has this number tucked away somewhere.

Bonus beach-wear here.

11) Do they have any hobbies? Did they come up with these hobbies in Luceti, or was it something they always did?:

- Most of her hobbies have been tied to creativity and her ruin mania personality - searching for artifacts, studying history, hoarding items, reveling in it, but in Luceti she has very few chances for that.

- She's always had reading as a hobby.

- ... and cooking. Badly. In Luceti however she has made progress on this, once her creativity is kept out of it, and even friends from home might be able to comment on the improvement (... though with Sanji gone it's questionable if this will keep up.)

- in Luceti she has added sketching and painting (at some insistence by housemates/friends, to try and give her something to do away from her work obsession which was consuming her in previous years). Her art varies on her state of mind; she usually leans toward a more creative aspect though, much like her cooking, but she can focus on intricate details as well.

- She also has a green thumb given that her house back home, despite being rather small, has houseplants all over it. In Luceti, she has been focusing more on that these days as well, even moreso when she tends the herbs and vegetables outside her house and often spends time at the flower shop.

12) Has the situation in Luceti changed their view on certain topics/the way they react to different things?:

Raine is... much more accepting of possibilities happening in Luceti than she ever has been at home. It's probably due mostly to the fact that it's overflowing with different people, and different cultures and new ways of thinking, as well as considerable influence from the journey. She tries more now to look for the possibilities in things instead of outright shutting it down -- of course, she's still pragmatic and holds back on some things. Though it's ironic that newer acquaintances have found her to seem optimistic -- most of her friends from home would not have thought her to be as such.

13) Do they have a weapon? If so, do they carry it at all times or just under certain circumstances?:

She favors rods (or staffs or wands, however they're referred to), and usually carries one around with her at all times. Her current one is topped by a large red sphere encasing a ruby. The ones from home are special since they help with her magic focus and enhance abilities. Ironically, she also has a cursed weapon in her possession, the Heart of Chaos.

14) Do they have any pets? Would these pets be at their homes, or do they hang out with the character in question?:

- an octopus named Fabio, given to her by Jack Sparrow in the latter's attempts to get Raine more comfortable with the sea, kept in a tank in her room

- a cat named Lia (Actual name: Iselia), given to her by Leonard McCoy from Cupcake's litter.

- Noishe lives in the stable near her house so she tends to look in on him the most. She can also be seen around with him occasionally when she goes for walks in the forest or longer trips in the village.

- Astrid isn't hers, but she's Albert's horse that she also spends time with when she has the time.

15) Who are their neighbors?:

Residents of house #40, house #50, and Community Building #7.

16) Who are their best friends in Luceti? How often do they spend time with them and doing what?

There are a number of people she does care and look out for, and would go out of her way to help. It can't really be phrased in a "best friend" sort of way.

Her closest mutual friend is Sheena. They've experienced a lot inside of Luceti which went beyond what they experienced in their own world, and Sheena actually knows a good deal more about Raine's private life than most others. Raine tends to visit her at the tea shop when she isn't busy.

She would likely rank Albert up here, even if he wouldn't do so himself, since it isn't exactly mutual. It's more of a trust thing than a friendship thing, despite the rockiness of certain incidents.

17) On the flip side, is there anyone they actively don’t get along with? How do they interact, and would people know about this?

Mithos. She has given warnings about him (to people at the smithy and his neighbors, and those who she's seen interacting with him) and does actively keep an eye out for his activities, mostly with Frey's assistance. Their interactions are fairly terse at best.

18) Their favorite areas/stores/hang-out locations?:

The school, flower shop, tea shop and library, and even just outside her house, even though it is a little noisier with the community building so nearby. She had a soft spot for Taichi's old treehouse as well, though with him gone it's fallen to disrepair.

19) Do they belong to any clubs or organizations? Which ones? Do they go regularly, or just occasionally?

Mostly her organizing revolves around the school and it's related activities (like the fair). She has an interest in the magic club, however. SHE IS ALSO IN THE ART CLUB, Ikki recruited her before the club even became official.

Henry Mills

[personal profile] theboywiththebook 2013-06-21 05:32 pm (UTC)(link)
1) Height: About 4'6. He's usually staring up at people who are at least five feet in show soooo...

2) Weight: I would say maybe 85 pounds.

3) Eye color/Hair Color: Brown hair and Hazel eyes

4) Age: 11 and he looks about his age.

5) Physical features: Whenever it's winter he's always wearing a black peacoat with a red and grey striped scarf. Other than that nothing really. Picture for reference

6) Voice: He's the little kid if you need direction

7) Who do they live with and how are chores divided in their house/apartment?: Henry is currently living with Steve and Bucky now. They all pretty much pick up after themselves, but, he helps out as much as he can. He tends to be a bit messy though so they have to help him keep his room clean. Bucky usually handles cooking and Steve handles the dish drying stuff.

8) Their favorite (and least favorite, if you want) foods and who does the cooking in their house/apartment?: Bucky handles the cooking. Henry pretty much eats anything, but, he won't eat apples anymore. Too many bad memories associated with that devil fruit. His favourite thing ever though is hot chocolate with cinnamon.

9) What they do during an average day in Luceti:
Henry has to go to school every day except for the weekend. Most days after or before school Henry goes to practice archery with Katniss and usually practices his sword fighting by himself. Any other free time would've been taken up reading his book or other books but right now with the penalty that's impossible. He'll usually wander around if he's got nothing else to do.

10) Their general sense of fashion: Henry kind of wears a bunch of casual stuff, but you definitely know his wardrobe was all picked out by his mother. He's usually wearing sweaters over over button up shirts, button up shirts, and sometimes he wears t-shirts and hoodies. He's got a pretty nice coat though for the winter and fall, a peacoat with a red and grey striped scarf.

11) Do they have any hobbies? Did they come up with these hobbies in Luceti, or was it something they always did?:
He always reads as a past time, this derived from home because when he got that storybook from his teacher most of his time was spent on that. He also bikes whenever he can, and, plays video games too, all from home. He also likes to sword fight (mostly it's for play back home, but he's realized he needs some kind of weapons training if he's ever drafted in Luceti.) He's picked up archery in Luceti all thanks to Katniss but has always shown fondness for it back home. Lastly, there's horse back riding and he picked that back up at home too. He's even got his horse back from Storybrooke with him. He still needs to learn how to ride though.

12) Has the situation in Luceti changed their view on certain topics/the way they react to different things?: Henry is still much the same as ever. He believes good always wins, killing is wrong. etc etc.

13) Do they have a weapon? If so, do they carry it at all times or just under certain circumstances?: Henry has a sword he got at Christmas, but, it usually remains put away unless he goes to practice or has to go to a draft. The same with his bow, except he got that from Katniss.

14) Do they have any pets? Would these pets be at their homes, or do they hang out with the character in question?: Henry has a horse, but it usually stays in the stables.

15) Who are their neighbors?:
Aelos and Nathan.
16) Who are their best friends in Luceti? How often do they spend time with them and doing what?
Richard, Steve, Bucky, Little Loki, Katniss, Pepper, Natasha. (He obviously needs more friends his age.)
He and Loki usually hang out or talk whenever they can. He see's Katniss frequently for archery practice. Steve and Bucky he always see's because they live together. Natasha he doesn't see far too much but he likes her enough to call her his friend, and the same goes with Pepper.

17) On the flip side, is there anyone they actively don’t get along with? How do they interact, and would people know about this?
The only person Henry doesn't seem to get on with is Mithos, but that's not really surprising. Henry, however, actively engages Mithos. He doesn't hate the boy, but, he recognizes that the teen has some issues that Henry can relate to. Over all, Henry wants to try and help the guy. The only person who might know would be Raine for catching Henry talking to older Mithos. But, overall, Henry has kept this to himself.

18) Their favorite areas/stores/hang-out locations?:
Henry would go to Seventh Heaven a lot because, food. Otherwise, it's the battledome or the lake for him.
19) Do they belong to any clubs or organizations? Which ones? Do they go regularly, or just occasionally?
Henry doesn't go to any organization things sadly.
20) Wing color and how do they deal with their wings?: Red with black outlines I believe. Henry generally covers his wings up because he's learned it's more of a hazard to keep them out. At first it was a bit startling but, not he just doesn't really notice them.

21) Did they change or grow in any way physically since coming to Luceti?: Henry has remained the same weight for awhile and he might be growing an inch. His hair on the other hand is getting pretty long and shaggy.

22) What do they miss the most from home?:
Family. He misses Emma, Mary Margret, David, Archie, Ruby, everybody really. He even misses Regina a bit, but not by a lot. She still has work to do on her life choices after all.

23) What does their handwriting look like? Do they write the way they talk, or is there a clear difference between the two?:
Henry is only eleven and he's also a boy. So, his hand writing isn't very neat. It's a bit choppy and uneven but it's legible.
24) Is the way they act in person different from the way they act over the journal system?: No, Henry pretty much acts the same.

25) Did they gain/lose any personal goals during their stay in Luceti?: Nope, he's still determined to get his mom and Mary Margret back. He just has to think differently about it now.

26) Is Luceti a technological upgrade, or downgrade for them? Have they adapted to these changes well?: It's about even. The battledome is probably the biggest upgrade to what he has in his world, but, everything else is kind of the same.

27) FOR STUDENTS: What is their favorite class? What is their least favorite class? What about their general behavior in school?:
Henry's favourite class would be writing. Least favourite would be magic, but he is not attending that. In general, he's very good and polite to his teachers.

28) FOR DRINKERS: What is their favorite drink? What is their least favorite drink? Do they prefer Good Spirits or Cloud Nine? What's their attitude about and while drinking?:N/A

29) Do they have any special talents? If so, what are they?:
Henry's pretty average if you really look at him. His special talent would probably be how much of an effect he has on people (ie his mother trying to give up magic for him, Emma changing the person she was).

30) Have they learned any new skills or abilities in Luceti? If so, what are they? Why and how?
Henry's learned how to use a bow from Katniss, only because she offered to teach anyone. He's also learned how to use a sword better. He started learning back home from his gramps, but has learned from a variety of people in Luceti how to handle one. As for why he picked this skill up? It's because heroes use swords in fairy tales.

31) What kind of habits do they have on drafts? Are they willing to kill or do they prefer to avoid fighting?
Henry had wanted to go into the thick of it, if only to be sure that his friends who were fighting would be okay. He definitely had a no kill policy when he had to fight though (having only shot the cultist that would've killed Steve and Bucky in the shoulder.) After dying though, if he ever has to go to a draft again he may just stay with the healers until he finally gets over his death.

32) What kind of habits do they have on missions? What is their reason for going on them? What do they intend to use their points for?
N/A

33) How long have they been in Luceti? Has that length of time impacted them in any way?: (IE. getting used to the place, not wanting to leave, being less/more inclined to do something about their situation, so on)
Henry has been here since November so that's seven months. He's gotten used to being here, but he still wants to leave. After all, he's got to get back home and save his family. But, that doesn't deter him from wanting to get back to Luceti when it's all said and done or at least visit. Hey, Storybrooke has magic, maybe they'll be able to use portals someday.

34) How do they unwind and get back to normal after a brutal experiment, event, or draft? (IE. do they spend time on their own, go drink away their troubles, confide in their friends, and so on.)
Usually, when Henry deals with any kind of problems, he keeps to himself for awhile. He did this with the draft for maybe a couple of hours after coming back to life and when he had to confront everyone he was pretty depressed that he had managed to hurt the people he loved. He eventually manages to push past it however.

35) What is their worst experience from an experiment or kidnapping? Were there any that they actually liked?
It's a penalty but Henry currently hates not being able to read. It's essentially taking all the hope he has from his book and locking it off from him. So, if he wanted to cheer himself up he has a harder time to do that. Otherwise, Henry doesn't like experiments in general considering the last one that happened to him, he treated everyone as if they were nuts.
36) Anything else you want to note?:
He loves hot chocolate with cinnamon and is very surprised no one has done that yet.

1) Height: 5'3

2) Weight: 125-130 approx

3) Eye color/Hair Color: red hair, green eyes (even if the comics are occasionally conflicted over this)

4) Age: 84! (yes really) She was born around 1928 but due to SPOILERS she pretty much appears in her mid-to-late 20's.

5) Physical features: she's very short? Moves with a sort of controlled grace and confidence

6) Voice: Scarlett Interview (she starts talking right about 1:00) She has sort of a deeper huskier voice in general (Scarlett's said she gets asked if she has a sore throat on a typical basis) I'd say she's normally pretty soft-spoken, but again, she's capable of changing just about anything in her mannerism if the situation calls for it, so it just depends on what she's trying to accomplish.

7) Who do they live with and how are chores divided in their house/apartment?: She lives in CH5 Floor Six and is generally a tidy person (except for the occasional state of her bedroom) so she picks up after herself if she makes any messes. She can typically be founding out on the Marvel floor below, however, where Clint resides, and most mornings finds her in their kitchen making coffee or bringing by a delivery from the bakery after her morning run.

8) Their favorite (and least favorite, if you want) foods and who does the cooking in their house/apartment?: She loves Thai cuisine in general and has a fondness for anything spicy. She's traveled a lot and enjoys trying interesting food from all over. She DOES cook on occasion, finds it relaxing, something she does in the occasional downtime she gets.

9) What they do during an average day in Luceti: She typically gets up fairly early for a run unless there's someone keeping her in bed. She has coffee and breakfast typically on Floor 5. Most mornings, she helps out the Xmen training at the Battle Dome, or some of the private lessons she gives to certain friends. She trains for herself for an hour or two there too, but that varies when and what. Right now she's working a lot on the cafe to get that open at the end of the month and once it does, she'll be spending considerable time there as well. Not to mention the occasional mission she sends herself on. Evenings find her taking it easy at home or at Clint's or at Bucky's. Or possibly the bar, depending on her mood. She gets out and moves quite a bit, touching base with her team and her friends and acquaintances and that's often the easiest way to do it in the course of the day. She prefers to keep busy, but she also knows how to indulge and relax when she wants, too.

10) Their general sense of fashion: Natasha typically goes for comfort. She's most commonly found in a pair of jeans, although her tops come in all different styles depending on her mood. If she's after something or undercover, she shapes her appearance to fit whatever role she's playing.

11) Do they have any hobbies? Did they come up with these hobbies in Luceti, or was it something they always did?: She hasn't had a lot of time to take up a consistent hobby. She spars a lot, trains. Hangs out with her companions in random spurts of socialness. Back home, she often enjoyed taking in a show or going to concerts, maybe out to the occasional club. She DOES still privately indulge in dance now and then, mostly when she's feeling restless or unsettled. The style changes with her mood. The past of a ballet dancer (whether real or imprinted) is something that still helps center her when she's feeling disconnected from herself, funnily enough.

12) Has the situation in Luceti changed their view on certain topics/the way they react to different things?: Not... really? She's had a long time to develop her own views and opinions on things. The world's certainly gotten much bigger in her eyes. If anything, coming to Luceti has given her the longest stretch of vacation she's had in... ever. The downtime has given her more time to make connections she might not have had time or opportunity for before.

13) Do they have a weapon? If so, do they carry it at all times or just under certain circumstances?: A weapon?? Natasha typically has several on her person at any given time. Usually small blades or devices she's rigged. She does have her field suit here and her utility belt typically had a stock of small easy-to-conceal weaponry. She also has a pair of Glock 26s she typically carries in thigh holsters when suiting up for a fight.

14) Do they have any pets? Would these pets be at their homes, or do they hang out with the character in question?: Does Clint count?

15) Who are their neighbors?: Peggy Carter shares floor 6 with her, but Natasha spends as much time on the 5th floor as her own, so she counts Clint, Loki, Billy and Teddy among her neighbors as well. Also considering the time she's been spending at Bucky and Steve's lately...

16) Who are their best friends in Luceti? How often do they spend time with them and doing what? Clint. They're still inseparable, often going on runs or sparring together. She's now also spending a considerable amount of time with Bucky since they've started dating. Pepper also ranks very highly, and outside of her two boys, is counted as Natasha's closest friend. The team in general falls after that, since they're all important to Tasha, and there's quite a few others who are making their way up on the list of good friends, much to her surprise.

17) On the flip side, is there anyone they actively don’t get along with? How do they interact, and would people know about this? Loki? She regards him from the opposite side of a wary truce for the moment. She wouldn't be outright hostile unless provoked and they are all trapped here - it wouldn't be the first time a situation has changed an enemy into an ally for her (HAH, she'd be the last one to discount that, considering who she is) but at the same time, he now possesses a vast amount of knowledge about her she is uncomfortable with anyone knowing, especially someone she does not trust. Other than that, she's more ambivalent about the rest of the people around her. At the moment, she's not a fan of Saori, but that's because Complicated. >.>

18) Their favorite areas/stores/hang-out locations?: The Battle Dome. More often than not, she can be found here. In the evenings, if she's not settled in at home or with company, she can often be found drinking at the bar. Once the coffee shop gets opened, I'm sure she'll be a fixture there, whether she's working or not.

19) Do they belong to any clubs or organizations? Which ones? Do they go regularly, or just occasionally? Not really? Although she'd support Billy's club if he needs anything.

20) Wing color and how do they deal with their wings?: black with blood-red tips. She's rather fascinated by them, to be honest. She typically wears shirts that will accommodate them, leaving them visible, but has jackets overtop for protection when she's travelling here and there.

21) Did they change or grow in any way physically since coming to Luceti?: Her hair's gotten longer - she pulls it back or up more often now.

22) What do they miss the most from home?: Starbucks Coulson The activity. She misses the missions, the thrill of it, of having something to do that's useful and means something.

23) What does their handwriting look like? Do they write the way they talk, or is there a clear difference between the two?: Phrasing, she tends to write pretty formal. Her handwriting itself is neat and simple without a lot of flourishes, tends to print. She can change this when necessary - again, will adopt a style to fit the persona she's portraying.

24) Is the way they act in person different from the way they act over the journal system?: She doesn't often write posts over the journal, at least not open ones - she's a very private person in general. Still she does partake in conversations here and there, and for the most part she's very much herself, although she's always careful about what she says or what she gives away in a public space, preferring filters or face-to-face meetings.

25) Did they gain/lose any personal goals during their stay in Luceti?: Does opening a coffee shop count?

26) Is Luceti a technological upgrade, or downgrade for them? Have they adapted to these changes well?: On some counts, its a downgrade - the loss of the internet, of everything being wireless and connected with a world's worth of information or entertainment accessible at any time from your nearest device, that's a loss she feels at times. The Battle Dome is something a little more advanced than they have back home (although the technology is probably there and doable) but otherwise it hasn't been too much of a culture shock for her.

27) FOR STUDENTS: What is their favorite class? What is their least favorite class? What about their general behavior in school?: N/A

28) FOR DRINKERS: What is their favorite drink? What is their least favorite drink? Do they prefer Good Spirits or Cloud Nine? What's their attitude about and while drinking?: She has pretty varied tastes, from vodka to whiskey to rum to wine. She has a hard time getting drunk so it doesn't affect her system as quickly as others. Only a few people know she's got a thing for port, but it's an indulgence she saves for special occasions.

29) Do they have any special talents? If so, what are they?: She has a very specific skillset... >.> Also, she can totally tie a knot in a cherry stem with her tongue. :| The rest of it is classified.

30) Have they learned any new skills or abilities in Luceti? If so, what are they? Why and how? She's certainly honing the ones she has, especially with a variety of people to train off of and learn from, like Logan and Derek. Pepper's attempts at contacting the spirits have also piqued her interest, although she's not sure that's something she wants to pursue.

31) What kind of habits do they have on drafts? Are they willing to kill or do they prefer to avoid fighting? She'll kill if she needs to. She's not overly squeamish about it, typically - if someone's trying to kill her, she'd rather drop them instead. She's also very good at just incapacitating if it's a short melee or scuffle. But in something like TERRACE, when every enemy left alive was someone who might come at them again and take down an innocent? She wasn't going to risk it.

32) What kind of habits do they have on missions? What is their reason for going on them? What do they intend to use their points for? She tends to favor the fighting or infiltration missions, something to give her a challenge. Especially if there's Cultists involved, she's really not fond of those guys. The points have gone to a couple places - the majority to Tony's portal project, some are now going to help cure Pepper from Extremis as well as supplying the cafe with the remaining equipment it needs to open and run.

33) How long have they been in Luceti? Has that length of time impacted them in any way?: She's been there since this past November. And it's hard for this not to impact her. Coming in from just after the invasion on New York, she's worried about what's going on back home, especially since almost the entirety of the Avengers are here. Tony and Pepper's recent canon update haven't helped assuage any of her concerns, either. Although she has a conundrum in choosing if 'going home' becomes a thing. Namely, Bucky. He's here, alive. Not the James she knew, but still himself and leaving that, leaving him, isn't something she's sure she could do without a dire reason. She hopes no one gives her one, because she wants to hold onto this as long as she can.

34) How do they unwind and get back to normal after a brutal experiment, event, or draft? There's usually alcohol involved, yes. Possibly sex. Possibly beating the shit out of something Hopefully not someone. For her own personal unwinding time, a long soak in a hot bath with soft music and a glass of wine usually does the trick.

35) What is their worst experience from an experiment or kidnapping? Were there any that they actually liked? Being caught by a Dream Shifter and having to kill Clint to shatter it.

1) Height: 5'5"

2) Weight: 110 lbs.

3) Eye color/Hair Color: Amber eyes, silver-white hair

4) Age: Physically he looks 16, but he is kind of ageless (looking exactly the same in a flashback when his peers were children). Presumably he's actually as old as the story he came from which isn't itself really known.

5) Physical features: Nothing I can really think of; what you see is really what you get with him. Probably one detail is that his eyes are usually described as looking "lonely" when he's in his heartless condition.

6) Voice: Welll here is a clip of his Japanese voice but I mostly work off of his dub voice, which I can't find a proper clip of. But it's easy to find the dubbed episode's online - here's one which has Mytho with most of his heart while also showing the raven's blood infection.

7) Who do they live with and how are chores divided in their house/apartment?: Ahahaha. Right now Mytho kind of "lives" by himself and doesn't exactly have any set home. He wanders around and will pretty much just fall asleep in any empty room, not always in a bed. Rue will probably set himself up with a room for the most part. As for chores, the way Mytho is, he will probably do any chore that is asked of him and otherwise will just do absolutely nothing.

8) Their favorite (and least favorite, if you want) foods and who does the cooking in their house/apartment?: His general neutrality extends to his tastes. He doesn't have any particular preferences, really. And he doesn't cook for himself either - he'll wind up missing meals unless he has someone pointing him in the right direction.

9) What they do during an average day in Luceti: It's pretty simple, although there may be complications in the future. He just wanders - sometimes he vaguely tries to seek out his friends - and he finds places to practice his ballet. Pretty much any random place can do.

10) Their general sense of fashion: I doubt there's a heart shard for fashion. He'll put on whatever clothes he can find or is handed to him.

11) Do they have any hobbies? Did they come up with these hobbies in Luceti, or was it something they always did?: Pretty much just ballet and it's a long-established one.

12) Has the situation in Luceti changed their view on certain topics/the way they react to different things?: Not necessarily. If anything, his situation in relation with canon - starting from scratch with assembling his heart plus the raven's blood infection being mostly at bay for now - causes his feelings to tilt towards Rue moreso than Tutu this time around.

13) Do they have a weapon? If so, do they carry it at all times or just under certain circumstances?: Yes. He has a sword, but he never thinks to carry it with him.

14) Do they have any pets? Would these pets be at their homes, or do they hang out with the character in question?: No pets!

15) Who are their neighbors?: Whoever he winds up sleeping near at the time.

16) Who are their best friends in Luceti? How often do they spend time with them and doing what? Rue and Duck are his closest companions. He and Rue are known to spent time just lounging around for the most part. But all of them do share a passion for ballet.

17) On the flip side, is there anyone they actively don’t get along with? How do they interact, and would people know about this? No, not really at all, yet.

18) Their favorite areas/stores/hang-out locations?: If there's anywhere Mytho has a preference for, it's probably the fountain. Just because it seems like a fairly ballet-y location.

19) Do they belong to any clubs or organizations? Which ones? Do they go regularly, or just occasionally? Not at the present.

20) Wing color and how do they deal with their wings?: They're silver-white, matching his hair. And he is completely indifferent to them.

21) Did they change or grow in any way physically since coming to Luceti?: Not really, but he hasn't been here long.

22) What do they miss the most from home?: If he had the heart shard for missing, it would be Fakir.

23) What does their handwriting look like? Do they write the way they talk, or is there a clear difference between the two?: It's fancy and elegant, as expected of a prince. His written words are more clearly put together, while when speaking he tends to trail off.

24) Is the way they act in person different from the way they act over the journal system?: No, he's pretty much always the same.

25) Did they gain/lose any personal goals during their stay in Luceti?: Yes and no? Coming into Luceti has caused him to lose all the heard shards he's gained - and it's also kept the raven's blood infection from ovetaking him from the time being. He still has his goal of regaining his heart, but now it is mostly unconnected from the battle with the raven. Except of course for the raven within him.

26) Is Luceti a technological upgrade, or downgrade for them? Have they adapted to these changes well?: It's an upgrade. And he's reacted... pretty much by staring at strange things until someone explains it.

If so, what are they?: His heart shards are his primary magic. Otherwise, his skills are fairly pedestrian.

30) Have they learned any new skills or abilities in Luceti? If so, what are they? Why and how? Not yet!

31) What kind of habits do they have on drafts? Are they willing to kill or do they prefer to avoid fighting? He has not yet been drafted - but basically he will often be most likely helpless. But whenever someone weak or helpless is in danger, he can act with great skill with a sword in protecting them. He has little qualms about killing enemies, especially ones that don't have traces of humanity.

32) What kind of habits do they have on missions? What is their reason for going on them? What do they intend to use their points for? N/A

33) How long have they been in Luceti? Has that length of time impacted them in any way?: Almost two months. It hasn't exactly impacted them since he isn't in much of a state to feel impacts. This will most likely change as he regains heart shards.

34) How do they unwind and get back to normal after a brutal experiment, event, or draft? He will just choose to dance.

35) What is their worst experience from an experiment or kidnapping? Were there any that they actually liked? Well he's already had an experiment where Hyt and Twila turned him and Rue against each other, resulting in Rue being cut by his blade.

36) Anything else you want to note?: I don't think so? Well recently he's started to regain his heart shards - specifically devotion and fear. Ever since gaining fear, he's been hiding from others to the most part out of fear.

10) Their general sense of fashion: Lots of red. She's a very red person.

12) Has the situation in Luceti changed their view on certain topics/the way they react to different things?: Rei's learning to be more trusting and open of men, and people in general. Also she's sort of begun questioning her sexuality.

13) Do they have a weapon? If so, do they carry it at all times or just under certain circumstances?: A bow and magic pen to become Sailor Mars.

14) Do they have any pets? Would these pets be at their homes, or do they hang out with the character in question?: 2 crows named Phobos and Deimos that are almost always with her.

15) Who are their neighbors?: Emil Castagnier, Caius Qualls, Czeslaw Meyer, Maiza Avaro, Luke Triton, Hershel Layton, Flora Reinhold, Spock, James T. Kirk, Arya Stark. Rei only vaguely knows Spock, though.

16) Who are their best friends in Luceti? How often do they spend time with them and doing what? Ami Mizuno, Kari Nijihi, Helios Sprensonne, Max Woodville, and Tsuzuki Asato. She works with, studies with, or spends time with at least one of them nearly every day. She considers Sabriel and Lirael Abhorsen friends, but worries about them quite a lot due to their rather frequent extended kidnappings. Cliff Fittir and Okita Souji are both also friends, though she sees them less regularly.

17) On the flip side, is there anyone they actively dont get along with? How do they interact, and would people know about this? Rei actively had problems with Lupin III before his departure and she's not fond of Adele LeBlanc, she just avoids them. She also has issues with Vegeta.

18) Their favorite areas/stores/hang-out locations?: Tsukino Shrine and the forest. She also frequents the tea shop and Seventh Heaven.

19) Do they belong to any clubs or organizations? Which ones? Do they go regularly, or just occasionally? The Magic Club, and she doesn't ever miss a meeting. Also the Kiyoshi Warriors, Brave Vesperia, and Billy's new LGBT club, though she's less regular about those for various reasons.

20) Wing color and how do they deal with their wings?: Grey with black tips, and they remain uncovered.

21) Did they change or grow in any way physically since coming to Luceti?: Not significantly save Rei's now got a Charter Mark on her forehead.

22) What do they miss the most from home?: Minako Aino, Makoto Kino, Usagi Tsukino, her grandfather, and Hikawa Shrine.

23) What does their handwriting look like? Do they write the way they talk, or is there a clear difference between the two?: Its very, very graceful and calligraphic. Given the chance she always writes with a brush, and she speaks the way she writes

24) Is the way they act in person different from the way they act over the journal system?: No, Rei's articulate in any medium. She speaks somewhat formally all the time, but is still reserved and quiet, even if it's over the journal.

25) Did they gain/lose any personal goals during their stay in Luceti?: Protect Usagi, Destroy Dark Kingdom? No change there!

26) Is Luceti a technological upgrade, or downgrade for them? Have they adapted to these changes well?: It's a downgrade, a bit. Basically the same but tech in her world is more or less ahead of Luceti.

27) FOR STUDENTS: What is their favorite class? What is their least favorite class? What about their general behavior in school?: Rei doesn't attend school

28) FOR DRINKERS: What is their favorite drink? What is their least favorite drink? Do they prefer Good Spirits or Cloud Nine? What's their attitude about and while drinking?: Rei drinks 1 glass of wine on her birthday every year, that's all. A canon tradition, she prefers red wine.

29) Do they have any special talents? If so, what are they?: Fortune Telling, Fire-Reading, and mild ESP. She's also great at calligraphy.

30) Have they learned any new skills or abilities in Luceti? If so, what are they? Why and how? Magical skills from Helios, Harry Dresden, Sabriel and Lirael.

31) What kind of habits do they have on drafts? Are they willing to kill or do they prefer to avoid fighting? Rei's not shy about fighting at all, as Rei or Sailor Mars. She's a soldier, and she's willing to kill when necessary. Fire consumes after all.

32) What kind of habits do they have on missions? What is their reason for going on them? What do they intend to use their points for? Rei goes on missions to give herself a purpose and to help people, and the points are for luxuries.

33) How long have they been in Luceti? Has that length of time impacted them in any way?: Rei's been in Luceti for over a year now, and not really. She's a bit more able to brush off Malnosso related troubles though.

34) How do they unwind and get back to normal after a brutal experiment, event, or draft? Meditation, spending time with Ami, and throwing herself into her crafts.

35) What is their worst experience from an experiment or kidnapping? Were there any that they actually liked? Rei's worst experience so far with experiments was during Christmas. The Mistletoe messed with her head badly, and flipped her head upside down in many ways. She hasn't minded the kidnapping where she was aged up as much, at all.

36) Anything else you want to note?: Rei's grown up a lot in Luceti and I want to thank every single member of my CR for giving me an absolutely wonderful year and then some with her. I've genuinely enjoyed her growth and I'm always on the lookout for new people for Rei to spend time with.

1) Height: 5".9'

2) Weight: He's pretty lean and muscular...I'd guess around 145-150

3) Eye color/Hair Color: Dark blue eyes, dark blonde hair.

4) Age: 37: he just had a birthday in May.

5) Physical features: Considering his occupation back home, it would probably seem odd that he doesn't have any marks from it unless you knew how the infection spreads. There are likely smaller scars and scrapes, but nothing overt. He occasionally limps when he's overdone it thanks to an old hip injury, but it's slight and easily missed. Other than looking like a particular rock star from whatever versions of Earth that have that rock star, there's not really anything that noticeable about him.

6) Voice: Bon Jovi. (Just Jon...not the whole band. He isn't Legion)

7) Who do they live with and how are chores divided in their house/apartment?: He does his own chores, but he's sharing the floor in CH6 with Mavis...and unless he really ticks her off, once it's built, he'll be an occasional house guest of Adele's.

8) Their favorite (and least favorite, if you want) foods and who does the cooking in their house/apartment?: In the apartment, he'll cook for himself and whoever wants food. At Adele's...I'm thinking they might take turns, if Adele even lets him in there. Favorite foods include anything Italian or Mexican. Least favorite...not much, really, but he really doesn't do sweets or sugary stuff.

9) What they do during an average day in Luceti: Practice at the battledome, go hiking/fishing/hunting/surfing, pick random things in the shops to fix and put them back. Talk to random folks.

10) Their general sense of fashion: Jeans, t-shirt, that jacket of his, and cowboy or work boots.

11) Do they have any hobbies? Did they come up with these hobbies in Luceti, or was it something they always did?: Surfing, fixing things, hiking, rock climbing, pool, dancing. All of these he already knew/did back home. Oh, and sing and play guitar.

12) Has the situation in Luceti changed their view on certain topics/the way they react to different things?: Well...he is intentionally sharing space with a vampire, so there's that...

13) Do they have a weapon? If so, do they carry it at all times or just under certain circumstances?: All the time--a few stakes and a hunting knife. Other stuff seen when needed: 9mm gun, a sword, a shotgun. The sword gets hauled out when it seems something dangerous is going on. The guns only get used during drafts. Limited ammo and all that.

14) Do they have any pets? Would these pets be at their homes, or do they hang out with the character in question?: No pets.

15) Who are their neighbors?: ...Whoever is in CH6 with him. The population there is pretty spread out; he hasn't met them, or if he has, not at the building.

16) Who are their best friends in Luceti? How often do they spend time with them and doing what?
Adele, Twilight...most other people he thinks of as casual acquaintances because he hasn't spent enough time with them to think otherwise. Even with Adele and Twilight he tends to keep to himself; he's still getting used to the idea of staying in one place, never mind making lasting friends.

17) On the flip side, is there anyone they actively don’t get along with? How do they interact, and would people know about this? ...Adult Loki. Although he's trying to be pleasant for Adele's sake.

18) Their favorite areas/stores/hang-out locations?: Out in the woods, the beach, the library and the bar.

19) Do they belong to any clubs or organizations? Which ones? Do they go regularly, or just occasionally? None at the moment.

20) Wing color and how do they deal with their wings?: Dark reddish brown on the outside, buff white on the inside with black flecks. Basically, someone grafted red-tailed hawk wings on him. He tends to let them out, if only because of all the minute twitching and moving they do as he goes about his day. Keeping that under wraps gets annoying after a while. He binds them up and under his jacket during drafts though--no point in making the most vulnerable part of him easily accessible, after all.

21) Did they change or grow in any way physically since coming to Luceti?: Nope. He's already full grown, so..

22) What do they miss the most from home?: There's not much to miss, but he is worried sick about his teammates, who were in a really bad situation when he got grabbed.

23) What does their handwriting look like? Do they write the way they talk, or is there a clear difference between the two?: Generally neat; you can tell he had a really good education from the writing. As for how he sounds, casual 'conversation' nets pretty much the same language as when he's speaking. When he's explaining something though, or talking philosophies or the like, he starts getting a little more formal, again a hint of his lifestyle before becoming a vampire hunter.

24) Is the way they act in person different from the way they act over the journal system?: He's about the same, other than what's noted in the question above.

25) Did they gain/lose any personal goals during their stay in Luceti?: Other than trying to rescue what's left of his team and kill the vampire, which is pretty much impossible while he's in Luceti no, not really. He'd like to find a way out, but he's aware that other than digging up non-existent information, he doesn't have the skills, magic, or contacts to do much about it.

26) Is Luceti a technological upgrade, or downgrade for them? Have they adapted to these changes well?: More or less the same, minus vehicles and computers.

27) FOR STUDENTS: What is their favorite class? What is their least favorite class? What about their general behavior in school?: N/A

28) FOR DRINKERS: What is their favorite drink? What is their least favorite drink? Do they prefer Good Spirits or Cloud Nine? What's their attitude about and while drinking?: Definitely prefers Good Spirits. Favs are tequila and beer, although wine, whiskey and rum are all right too. He doesn't have a problem with most alcohol but doesn't tend to stray from him chosen favorites unless someone else presents it to him.

29) Do they have any special talents? If so, what are they?: Just very highly trained. Aikido and training with the US Army Rangers are the closest he comes to 'special' talents. And I guess vampire hunting skills.

30) Have they learned any new skills or abilities in Luceti? If so, what are they? Why and how? He's been working with most of the filial spirits, so he's getting a decent handle on most of them at this point. He tends to favor Tsinku and Nala, though.

31) What kind of habits do they have on drafts? Are they willing to kill or do they prefer to avoid fighting? He pretty much treats it like a vampire hunt. He will kill, and he will take the wings of the ones he kills to make sure they don't get back up again for that draft. It bugs the shit out of him that it's come to that, but he understands that they would happily do the same to him. It salves it a little bit to know they'll be up and around again later--at least as long as their own people don't do something to them, that is. By the same token, if he were asked for mercy, he'd likely give it. He'd probably be doubly harsh on any one who used 'mercy' to get a better shot at him, though. Fool him once, and he won't give you a second chance on the battlefield.

32) What kind of habits do they have on missions? What is their reason for going on them? What do they intend to use their points for? He hasn't gone yet, but when he does, he'll stay focused and on task and work hard--probably hard enough that someone may have to reign him in. He's likely to go on the ones that require some form of hunting and physical activity, although he'll take mechanic jobs too. Mostly, it's to keep from going stir crazy. He'll probably sit on the points until someone else needs them.

33) How long have they been in Luceti? Has that length of time impacted them in any way?: (IE. getting used to the place, not wanting to leave, being less/more inclined to do something about their situation, so on) He's been here a grand total of three years, but only remembers from this January on. He's honestly still adjusting this time and is more interested in getting out than settling down, although recent personal events have given him a reason to at least consider sticking around for a while.

34) How do they unwind and get back to normal after a brutal experiment, event, or draft? He...pretty much goes off on his own and bottles it until he can categorize it into something he can deal with.

35) What is their worst experience from an experiment or kidnapping? Were there any that they actually liked? He hasn't had enough to compare times to, although he really wishes the Malnosso would quit fucking with his emotions. That's starting to piss him off.

36) Anything else you want to note?: Nope.

16autumnroad: (thumbs up)

Akimichi Chouji

[personal profile] 16autumnroad 2013-06-20 09:26 pm (UTC)(link)
1) Height: 172.3 cm (~5' 8")

2) Weight: 87.5 kg (~193 lbs)

3) Eye color/Hair Color: dark eyes, light brown hair

4) Age: 17

5) Physical features: red spiral tattoos on his cheeks

6) Voice: Chouji has never met a food he doesn't like, so HERE, go ahead and listen to him nauseate his friends with discussion of some terrible things he finds delicious.

7) Who do they live with and how are chores divided in their house/apartment?: He lives with Masaomi and Shikamaru in an apartment on the 4th floor of CH1. As for chores, Chouji cooks; he made that deal with Shikamaru when he moved in. Other chores get done as they get done. I assume the boys mostly pick up after themselves, take care of their own laundry, etc. If he notices something that needs doing, Chouji will just go ahead and do it. He doesn't haggle over chores.

8) Their favorite (and least favorite, if you want) foods and who does the cooking in their house/apartment?: ...As previously mentioned, Chouji does a large amount of the cooking, though the others can fend for themselves if he isn't around and they're hungry. His favorite food is Korean barbecue, which is going to be cooked A LOT now that Shikamaru's given him a portable yakiniku grill as a birthday present. Other favorite foods include pretty much every junk food out there. Chouji has never met a food he doesn't like, though, unless it was inedible for some reason.

9) What they do during an average day in Luceti: Chouji works at 7th Heaven as a cook. He also tends to cook at mealtimes in the 4th floor kitchen anytime he's home for a meal. He trains not too far outside the village, and may be found being... well... a giant, because his fighting style involves being able to change the size of his body. He spends some time lazing about the village, too, preferably with a bag of chips, maybe some clouds in the sky to watch, a friend or two for company.

10) Their general sense of fashion: Casual and comfortable. Even when he isn't in armor, he doesn't stray too far from the sort of simple pants and shirt that can be fought in. Chouji is very utilitarian in his fashion choices if we're speaking in an everyday sense. He'll dress up in a show of respect or if Ino bullies him into it, but even then, he sticks with something fairly casual and easy to move in. He respects tradition enough that he will also dress up in more traditional (Japanese) clothing, but only if there is a good reason to do so.

11) Do they have any hobbies? Did they come up with these hobbies in Luceti, or was it something they always did?: Cooking, eating, watching the clouds with Shikamaru, training. Nothing very new.

12) Has the situation in Luceti changed their view on certain topics/the way they react to different things?: not really, but then, he's only been here a few months.

13) Do they have a weapon? If so, do they carry it at all times or just under certain circumstances?: Chouji almost always has at least a few small weapons with him. Frequently he has at the very least a pouch of kunai (throwing knives), possibly some wire and a couple exploding tags. As soon as he gets around to making a bo, he'll have the staff with him most of the time as well.

14) Do they have any pets? Would these pets be at their homes, or do they hang out with the character in question?: no

15) Who are their neighbors?: all of the ninja The 4th floor is pretty much all ninja in Chouji's age range, with a couple exceptions, but he'd gladly meet anyone else from CH1

16) Who are their best friends in Luceti? How often do they spend time with them and doing what? He hasn't been here that long, so his best friends are still his friends from home, his teammates in particular (Shikamaru and Ino). He sees a lot of them, presumably, considering they mostly live gathered onto the same floor of a single apartment building. He has made friends here, though, and he frequently invites people he likes to dinner, including friends who aren't from home and/or don't live in CH1. He also is likely to ask them to train with him occasionally. And Chouji can be found lazily watching clouds with Shikamaru, eating chips, on a regular basis.

17) On the flip side, is there anyone they actively don’t get along with? How do they interact, and would people know about this? I don't think so. (I welcome negative CR as well as positive, it just... hasn't happened yet.)

18) Their favorite areas/stores/hang-out locations?: Seventh Heaven, the convenience store

19) Do they belong to any clubs or organizations? Which ones? Do they go regularly, or just occasionally? no

20) Wing color and how do they deal with their wings?: White with red barring, like THIS, except I'm pretty sure the Malnosso did better than my quick photoshop job when it comes to color. He covers them or cuts holes in shirts, but doesn't pay them much attention aside from when they impact the way he fights or sits.

21) Did they change or grow in any way physically since coming to Luceti?: nope

22) What do they miss the most from home?: Yakiniku Q, and his clan/family/home.

23) What does their handwriting look like? Do they write the way they talk, or is there a clear difference between the two?: Not overly neat, but not messy either. He writes in a way that's comfortable, not putting too much effort into it, but always readable.

24) Is the way they act in person different from the way they act over the journal system?: Not really, no.

25) Did they gain/lose any personal goals during their stay in Luceti?: He's used to having his clan and his village to fight for; now he just tries to look after all of his fellow ninja here as much as possible, and his new friends as well.

26) Is Luceti a technological upgrade, or downgrade for them? Have they adapted to these changes well?: Not too different, at least within the enclosure.

If so, what are they?: Eating large quantities of food, growing his body (or parts thereof) to several times its original size, hardening his hair into spikes, throwing kunai (knives), cooking, digging large holes

30) Have they learned any new skills or abilities in Luceti? If so, what are they? Why and how? Not really.

31) What kind of habits do they have on drafts? Are they willing to kill or do they prefer to avoid fighting? He's willing to kill, and generally sticks with people he cares about rather than striking out on his own. He'll go to Shikamaru for plans most of the time, but otherwise just in general uses his strength to help friends as needed. He's the brawn, not the brains, but he's a fairly good judge of people and willing to work with a team. He can fight on his own if need be, it just isn't his preference.

32) What kind of habits do they have on missions? What is their reason for going on them? What do they intend to use their points for? Chouji needs to go on a mission at some point; he has yet to do so.

33) How long have they been in Luceti? Has that length of time impacted them in any way?: Three months. He decided about a month and a half in that there was no use holding off on settling in, so he has. Chouji does think about the things he needs to do when he goes home, his responsibilities there, but while he's here he will make some semblance of a home. The decision was prompted by the fact that he has a mentor and a friend here who have both died in his own world. If that friend can show up and give Chouji a birthday present that would serve as decoration in the apartment, Chouji can hang the decoration and make his room look lived-in. He's also found a job, and discussed with another friend the fact that lives can't be put on hold; he doesn't think it's possible or reasonable to avoid attachments here.

34) How do they unwind and get back to normal after a brutal experiment, event, or draft? He would probably not eat much. That's a sure sign something is wrong. If something is really wrong, he may dig a giant hole. Eventually, he'll seek out friends. He does this sooner if they need comfort too; it takes a tiny bit longer if it's all for his own sake.

35) What is their worst experience from an experiment or kidnapping? Were there any that they actually liked? nothing yet

36) Anything else you want to note?: The way to his heart is through his stomach?

complicatedliar: (thumbs up!)

Loki

[personal profile] complicatedliar 2013-06-20 03:45 pm (UTC)(link)
1) Height: 6'2"

2) Weight: 180-ish

3) Eye color/Hair Color: Eyes green, hair black

4) Age: Over 1000, looks maybe 30

5) Physical features: I think the icons cover it, really.

6) Voice: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aaWtOtrXtXs

7) Who do they live with and how are chores divided in their house/apartment?: Loki currently lives alone, so he does all of the chores.

8) Their favorite (and least favorite, if you want) foods and who does the cooking in their house/apartment?: Loki doesn't tend to cook; Rogue and Adele basically keep him fed. He'd not overly interested in food in general. Give him a good salad and he's probably happiest.

9) What they do during an average day in Luceti: Loki takes Vakri out for a ride every day and spends a significant amount of time at the stable, since it's his baby now. He goes to the library almost daily to check for new books that catch his interest. He also often will sit at the fountain and read afterward, or have a chess set with him if anyone interesting is around. And daily, though at odd hours, he trains at the battle dome. Otherwise he tends to keep to his house, where he's working on who knows what.

10) Their general sense of fashion: He's still most comfortable in the tunic and leather trousers combo even when he's not wearing armor. On days when he's feeling particularly dapper he'll switch over to a nicely tailored suit. Generally whatever he wears will have long sleeves and a high collar. He doesn't do casual. (Though here's hoping his girlfriend talks him into expanding his fashion sense to something less formal.)

11) Do they have any hobbies? Did they come up with these hobbies in Luceti, or was it something they always did?: Loki does horseback riding, reads, and plays strategy games. Those hobbies, he had before coming to Luceti. But he's also taken up knitting, and that's entirely Rapunzel's fault.

12) Has the situation in Luceti changed their view on certain topics/the way they react to different things?: Luceti's greatest effect on Loki has been convincing him that it is possible for him to have friends, genuine friends that he doesn't have to deceive into liking him. He's begun to exercise his exceedingly atrophied faculty for giving a crap about someone, and is finding that in very limited circumstances and with very specific people, he kind of likes it. This is not to imply he cares about people as a class or values them in the slightest. Goodness no. But a few very select people have become important to him, to the point that if it came to the worst he'd at least hesitate before pushing them in front of the oncoming train. (And an even smaller number, he'd want to try to save, though not at the cost of his own life.) He even has a girlfriend, who genuinely likes him for himself, and that's something he thought was entirely impossible. So that's huge for him, offering him a chance for something he never really had before--or at least something he's convinced himself he never had before.

The village has also had the kind of hilarious effect of making him realize that in the grand scheme of things, he gets along with mortals much better than he got along with nearly anyone in Asgard. Humans are just generally more accepting if him being a perverse, magical asshole and as a whole more willing to play verbal games and have his kind of fun. This isn't going to turn him into a bleeding heart save the mortals sort like Thor, but has had the effect of getting him to relax a bit and take things one person at a time.

Otherwise, Luceti life has forced him to be more subtle and less violent. Not because he no longer wishes to stab people, but because there is little point when death isn't permanent and he has a bunch of bored superheroes breathing down his neck.

13) Do they have a weapon? If so, do they carry it at all times or just under certain circumstances?: Loki has a plethora of daggers, and he carries them always.

14) Do they have any pets? Would these pets be at their homes, or do they hang out with the character in question?: He has a kitten named Sif, acquired in Luceti. Also, his horse from Asgard, Vakri, has followed him to Luceti.

15) Who are their neighbors?:
Whoever lives near house 60. I think the only nearby people he really interacts with much are the Avatar folks.

16) Who are their best friends in Luceti? How often do they spend time with them and doing what? his very best friend is definitely his girlfriend Rogue, and they spend most evenings and nights together at the least. His next best friend is Billy, and they have Monday night magic lessons at the very least, in addition to some other time hanging out.

He has a handful of other friends (Rapunzel, Adele, Jack, Eugene, Kirk, Sabriel, Konan, Vastra, Ikki) at varying degrees of closeness.

17) On the flip side, is there anyone they actively don’t get along with? How do they interact, and would people know about this? He's basically got an armed truce with the superheroes of Luceti, which he's tried to set up as a mutually assured destruction thing. For the must part, he really doesn't stir himself to hate the mortals because they aren't worth his ire. He finds some of them very annoying (Hi Steve) but also finds them extremely amusing to mess with in ways they can't really fight him over (Hi again, Steve).

Generally, no one in Luceti is capable of getting under his skin enough to make it worth the energy to actively hate them.

Exceptions: Oh, how he loathes Logan. And he no longer has any desire to deal with Saori, though he'll play the polite game with her.

And then Tony Stark is... complicated.

18) Their favorite areas/stores/hang-out locations?: library, stable, fountain

19) Do they belong to any clubs or organizations? Which ones? Do they go regularly, or just occasionally? Loki belongs to the art club, and goes fairly regularly because let's face it, Rapunzel and Ikki have basically wrecked his villain life. Otherwise I think he's part of the book club (if that happens) and the magic club if that happens. He organized a strategy game club, which I need to do a post about.

20) Wing color and how do they deal with their wings?: Wings are charcoal grey and he generally ignores them, though he's got some leather armor for them when there's battle.

21) Did they change or grow in any way physically since coming to Luceti?: he got a drunken prank haircut that left his hair short and super curly. All the ladies and gentlemen liked it better that way so he kept it; he's a vain creature, after all.

22) What do they miss the most from home?: The relative freedom of being able to play out his own game on a cosmic stage. Luceti is much too small and restricted a world for Loki. That said, there's not a whole hell of a lot else for him to miss. The last two years of his life have been nothing but an insane, painful pursuit of vengeance for what he sees as the wrongs done to him. He feels like he needs to get back to that (though he's having some doubts now thanks to Rogue and his own inconstant nature) but that's not really the same as missing it.

Okay, maybe he does kind of miss having Clint Barton as his personal hand puppet. Because WHO WOULDN'T amiright.

23) What does their handwriting look like? Do they write the way they talk, or is there a clear difference between the two?: his handwriting is very spiky and angular, the sorry if thing you'd expect from someone who literally writes in runes. He writes very similarly to how he speaks.

24) Is the way they act in person different from the way they act over the journal system?: No, he's just kind if a giant space asshole no matter where he is.

25) Did they gain/lose any personal goals during their stay in Luceti?: He wanted to take over the realms back home because he was angry and quite literally had nowhere else to go. He doesn't see the point of that here, since that would basically make him king if a tea pot. He wanted vengeance back home and that isn't really possible in Luceti, particularly because everyone insists on being nice and reasonable and inclusive and not giving him things to feel wounded about. It's very annoying.

And now if he started shit his girlfriend would dump him, so he's definitely in a holding pattern for the foreseeable future.

He has actually begun to rethink his goals for back in his world, just because he's had enough people ask him why he wants to rule a realm filled with people he despises. (It's a good question!) He hasn't come to any conclusions yet, but he's thinking.

26) Is Luceti a technological upgrade, or downgrade for them? Have they adapted to these changes well?: Downgrade in general, but the technology he misses most is things like the Bifrost and healing stones. He does his best to just not get hurt.

27) FOR STUDENTS: What is their favorite class? What is their least favorite class? What about their general behavior in school?: N/A

28) FOR DRINKERS: What is their favorite drink? What is their least favorite drink? Do they prefer Good Spirits or Cloud Nine? What's their attitude about and while drinking?: He prefers Good Spirits because he and Buffy have a weird notfriendship. Generally he goes for red wine.

29) Do they have any special talents? If so, what are they?: He's a magical asshole. In every sense of that phrase. But his biggest talent is really the fact that he's a super genius, followed by being very good at magic.

30) Have they learned any new skills or abilities in Luceti? If so, what are they? Why and how? Knitting. (/sob) Rapunzel steamrollered him with niceness. He's still not sure how that happened, but it gives him something to do with his hands while he's reading.

31) What kind of habits do they have on drafts? Are they willing to kill or do they prefer to avoid fighting? Willing to kill. It's not so much that he's bloodthirsty as he just doesn't care. Corpses are easier to deal with than prisoners. He tends to become extremely paranoid on drafts and won't sleep around other people, etc. This has only gotten worse since he became deaf. He generally lone wolfs it though will work with others he marginally trusts. Generally he'll put out enough effort to see the mission succeed (it's in his best interest for now) but isn't interested in being overly cooperative.

32) What kind of habits do they have on missions? What is their reason for going on them? What do they intend to use their points for? Very similar to drafts. He's not much of a team player and gets very pissy when strategy is involved and people don't listen to him enough. Generally he does missions because he's bored and it's a change of scenery. He was originally saving his points for a horse, but since Vakri had arrived they've been used for things like midwinter booze. He hasn't gone on any missions since.

33) How long have they been in Luceti? Has that length of time impacted them in any way?: He's been in Luceti nine months now. The impact it's really had on him is giving him pause and time to doubt himself and his ultimate goals. (Damn you people and your questions!) Because now that he has had time and distance to consider things when he's not immediately furious, it doesn't add up in a consistent way, and that bothers him. It also means he's had a lot more time to consider the kind of hell he crawled through after he dropped off the Bifrost, and he's having some problems with that.

34) How do they unwind and get back to normal after a brutal experiment, event, or draft? He exercises and drinks himself into enough of a stupor that he can sleep and never talks about it. Loki deals with things in all the healthiest ways. Though with Rogue around (and Adele and Billy) he has started to tentatively try that talking to people thing. He's really not convinced by it yet.

35) What is their worst experience from an experiment or kidnapping? Were there any that they actually liked? Worst would be the kidnapping that ended with his mouth getting sewn shut again. There aren't any he's liked. Though the Amnesia experiment has had an incredibly profound effect on him, some of which has been very good in the longer term. It reminded him what it felt like to have friends that liked him, that he cared about, and reminded him what it felt like to be in love. Moreso, it made him wonder if people could possibly like him for himself, though of course amnesia Loki wasn't really who he is. While generally that thought just made him feel super bitter, it got him to try a few things because in Luceti he really has nothing to lose.

36) Anything else you want to note?: Erm. I play him as bi, though that is less of a thing now that he has a steady girlfriend and no intention of sleeping around on her. I also headcanon that he actually really likes children, due to a story from myth where he goes to Midgard to save a crippled child and his family from a troll when none if the other gods could be bothered. Children are naturally chaotic, imaginative, non judgmental, and mischievous, which make them his kind of people anyway. He is wont to gravitate toward misfits. I guess I might as well note that I've never bought into the idea of him having a specific hate on for humans; I think he just generally doesn't like people and doesn't think humans are nearly as cool as humans do. He's just not impressed by anyone but himself.

Anyway, I am here for all your magical space asshole needs and am trying to think of some more pranks for him to work on in the future. So please let me know if you have ideas or would be interested in that. He's not in a position where he is going to hurt people (see: superheroes breathing down his neck) but that doesn't preclude messing with them.

Though it would be kind of hilarious if some day a thing happens and he gets blamed for it maybe. He'd enjoy playing the martyr card way to much.

etherealblast: (Stone Rain)

Fayt Leingod

[personal profile] etherealblast 2013-06-20 06:09 am (UTC)(link)
1) Height: 177 cm, (5'9.7 feet)

2) Weight: 87 kg (148 lbs.)

3) Eye color/Hair Color: Green eyes and blue hair.

4) Age: 20 as of June 5th.

5) Physical features: Nothing really noteworthy that wouldn't show up in his icons.

6) Voice: here. Fayt's voice actor is Steve Staley, who does the voices of Hubert Oswell, Kadaj, Neji Hyuuga and a whole lot of other people. Kind of boyish but even.

7) Who do they live with and how are chores divided in their house/apartment?: Fayt lives in community building 5 on the second floor in apartment number 7 along with Cliff Fittir. Chores get done as needed by the both of them.

8) Their favorite (and least favorite, if you want) foods and who does the cooking in their house/apartment?: Generally speaking he's fairly open tastes wise, but he does like the more modern, easy going meals the most. Nothing too fancy. Fayt does the cooking because Cliff cannot be trusted with meals and Fayt prefers to avoid the possibility of risking food poisoning.

9) What they do during an average day in Luceti: He sleeps in a little, but not too much. After that he gets up, has some breakfast, and either spends some time around the house doing something or other for a while before going out or simply goes out right away. Some days are partially occupied by training with Cliff. With summer coming, he'll probably spend the vast majority of daylight hours outdoors.

10) Their general sense of fashion: Comfortably, easy to move in clothes. T-shirts, jeans, khakis and the occasional vest. Fayt rarely wears long sleeves and prefers clothes he both looks good in and feels good in.

11) Do they have any hobbies? Did they come up with these hobbies in Luceti, or was it something they always did?: Basketball, sports in general, video games. He enjoys inventing and creating objects too, as well as combat and sparring.

12) Has the situation in Luceti changed their view on certain topics/the way they react to different things?: Fayt's started to think about what he wants to do with his life when he finally gets back to his universe, mostly thanks to Cliff's influence but also because Luceti has just given him time to think it over.
13) Do they have a weapon? If so, do they carry it at all times or just under certain circumstances?: Fayt has a sword, but he doesn't carry it always. if he thinks he'll need it or will be practicing with it in some way that day, he'll carry it, for the most part.

14) Do they have any pets? Would these pets be at their homes, or do they hang out with the character in question?: None.

15) Who are their neighbors?: There's no one else on the second floor of community building 5 currently, but he has downstairs neighbors in the form of Daisy, Keimi, Cloche, Hisoka, Tsuzuki and Saleh. There are also a lot of Avengers and Marvel people running around the upper floors of CH5.

16) Who are their best friends in Luceti? How often do they spend time with them and doing what? Cliff. They live together, so they see each other fairly often. Cliff also helps Fayt train in concentration and focus and Fayt occasionally helps Cliff with his projects.

17) On the flip side, is there anyone they actively don’t get along with? How do they interact, and would people know about this? No one really. Though Haruhi has rubbed him the wrong way sometimes, he has a fairly thick skin. It takes a bit for him to actively dislike someone.

18) Their favorite areas/stores/hang-out locations?: He tends to hang out in the library, battledome, and more recently, the rec center.

19) Do they belong to any clubs or organizations? Which ones? Do they go regularly, or just occasionally? None.

20) Wing color and how do they deal with their wings?: His wings are a plain, solid white. He handles his wings on a day to day basis depending on the weather and his outfit. Occassionally they're covered up to protect them from the elements, other times they're left free. He's taken to sleeping on his front or side because sleeping on his back can get difficult.

21) Did they change or grow in any way physically since coming to Luceti?: He's only been in Luceti for about 5 months, so not really.

22) What do they miss the most from home?: His mom, Sophia. His friends.

23) What does their handwriting look like? Do they write the way they talk, or is there a clear difference between the two?: Fayt writes in a quick, jotted down sort of manner that doesn't have any sort of specific or refined finnesse to it but is clear enough to read. He tends to write how he speaks, unless he's writing down notes on something, in which case he might use shorthand.

24) Is the way they act in person different from the way they act over the journal system?: Fayt tends to be rather articulate regardless of if it's in person or over the journals. In person, though, he is very animated in how he communicates and speaks to people, using a decent amount of body language that doesn't get conveyed through voice or written posts.

25) Did they gain/lose any personal goals during their stay in Luceti?: He's begun to reconsider some of his previous life goals while in Luceti, mainly his major. But that is thanks to the influence of pre-Luceti events and time to think on them.

26) Is Luceti a technological upgrade, or downgrade for them? Have they adapted to these changes well?: A very steep downgrade. Luceti has taken some degree of getting used to since it uses technology that is mostly several hundred years behind that of his home planet. Luckily, this isn't the first time he'd had to deal with technological downgrades, either.

27) FOR STUDENTS: What is their favorite class? What is their least favorite class? What about their general behavior in school?: He still needs to get around to checking out the school, but he'll likely not take any classes beyond world sharing and magic classes.

28) FOR DRINKERS: What is their favorite drink? What is their least favorite drink? Do they prefer Good Spirits or Cloud Nine? What's their attitude about and while drinking?: N/A.

29) Do they have any special talents? If so, what are they?: He's quick minded and thinks on his feet, both in combat and out. He's also decently good at making various things, such as designing weapon and small machines, among other kinds of objects.

30) Have they learned any new skills or abilities in Luceti? If so, what are they? Why and how? He's in the process of learning how to focus better in combat with the guidance of Cliff, and is starting to seek out the Filial spirits to try to learn from them. Otherwise, no.

31) What kind of habits do they have on drafts? Are they willing to kill or do they prefer to avoid fighting? Fayt does not enjoy drafts in the least, and prefers killing if he can avoid it. But he will kill if it's necessary. War is something he doesn't have much experience with and holds a decent degree of distaste for.

32) What kind of habits do they have on missions? What is their reason for going on them? What do they intend to use their points for? He hasn't been on any missions, yet.

33) How long have they been in Luceti? Has that length of time impacted them in any way?: Fayt has been in Luceti for 5 months now, and the length of time has, for the most part, resulted in him starting to find a sort of equlibrium after a long time traveling from place to place in a rush. He's getting bored more easily, much to his annoyance, but he also has time to relax.

34) How do they unwind and get back to normal after a brutal experiment, event, or draft? Fayt's first draft resulted in him returning to the apartment he shared with Cliff and more or less collapsing on his bed in a complete blackout from emotional and physical exhaustion. He is far from used to the kind of all out attacks and massive, bloody battles found in drafts, even after getting a taste of war back on Elicoor. Otherwise, the events he's experienced he has generally rolled with well enough, though he tends to brush off troublesome events with good humor and sheer stubbornness.

35) What is their worst experience from an experiment or kidnapping? Were there any that they actually liked? His worst experience so far was probably the Terrace draft. Most other experiments he's handled well enough.

36) Anything else you want to note?: I dump my excess headcanon stuff here if you want it.
Edited 2013-06-20 06:14 (UTC)
deadalready: (violent like you)

I just got Cato right now sooo boop

[personal profile] deadalready 2013-06-20 05:55 am (UTC)(link)
1) Height: 6'2" tall teenager is tall

2) Weight:
ehuuuuuuu i'd guess about 171 pounds?

3) Eye color/Hair Color:
He's only ever described as being BIG in the book so I go by my pb (obviously) of having blond hair and blue eyes.

4) Age: He is 16 in the books, which is where I take most of my canon for him from but since he's been in Luceti a year he's 17 now! WooO!

5) Physical features:
One thing that is really a stand-out feature that almost none of my icons feature are the three scars on the side of his face from the mutt attack - since I did end up taking him post death I thought it'd be fun to keep those as a reminder.

Also because I'm evil but hey.

Other than that he's just really tall and really bulky. Scary looking for a kid.

6) Voice:
Interview with Alexander Ludwig on Cato!

(i dunno if I should warn for spoilers but....spoilers?)

7) Who do they live with and how are chores divided in their house/apartment?: Cato lives with Clove because A) He's whipped.

B) Because no one else would want to live with him.

Cato does the cooking, Clove does whatever chores he asks her to do (which is mostly cleaning up after him). Things like laundry and shopping are shared / depends on whos in the mood

8) Their favorite (and least favorite, if you want) foods and who does the cooking in their house/apartment?:

As stated up above: Cato does the cooking. My headcanon is that his mom really enjoyed cooking and got him to help her in the kitchen - so he knows what he's doing. Plus it's relaxing.

Cato really, really likes anything with meat in it. He comes from a better off place than Katniss does and thusly has more luxuries relating to food - but he does go to the "Academy" and they train the kids to be fighting machines. So he does exactly have a sweet tooth.

Ice cream gives him a stomach ache.

9) What they do during an average day in Luceti:
Cato will either stay inside the apartment all day or he will be in the Battle Dome training. He doesn't really like social interaction (at all) and avoids people if he can help it.

10) Their general sense of fashion:
He tends to stick with things that are similar to his school-wear. Pants made with athletic movement in mind, regular t-shirt and light jacket over that. Tough, reliable shoes.

He still has his Games wear (which isn't that different) but he'll only wear the jacket given to him during drafts. Because Clove wears hers and it's easy to spot.

11) Do they have any hobbies? Did they come up with these hobbies in Luceti, or was it something they always did?:

Cato had to discover his hobby in Luceti. He had a hard time of picking out cooking as a hobby but it's always been something he's done - just not...for fun.

12) Has the situation in Luceti changed their view on certain topics/the way they react to different things?:

Cato used to live by the idea that he was going to win the Hunger Games when he went to them. He was brought up by his peers to believe this, being one of the best students. After dying he's had several breakdowns about being dead, each contributing to an epiphany that Luceti is his "second chance" to have a better life.

He's trying to live by that but it's hard to break lifelong habits. It's slow progress but progress nonetheless!

13) Do they have a weapon? If so, do they carry it at all times or just under certain circumstances?:

Cato has a longsword that Clove stole off a Third-Party soldier. It broke during a draft and he has yet to repair it - reluctant to do so because he doesn't want Clove to find out he broke it.

Eventually he'll have to since it's his favorite weapon. He usually only carries it when he's going to train or for drafts, but if he's feeling particularly paranoid he'll wear it normally.

14) Do they have any pets? Would these pets be at their homes, or do they hang out with the character in question?:

No pets.

Not yet.

15) Who are their neighbors?:

Crona and Japan but they don't know one another at all.

16) Who are their best friends in Luceti? How often do they spend time with them and doing what?

Ehm, well. Clove is his closest friend because...he doesn't get out much. He has an acquaintance going on with Rapunzel that he would consider to be a friendship since he's talked to her more than once (yeah, good job buddy).

17) On the flip side, is there anyone they actively don’t get along with? How do they interact, and would people know about this?

Not to my knowledge no! He mostly doesn't get on with anyone so...it's a general wide sweeping declaration of 'I don't like anyone'

18) Their favorite areas/stores/hang-out locations?:

The Western lake is where Clove and Cato have staked out a camp a la Careers in the Arena. They both spend a lot of time there respectively.

Other than that he likes the Battle Dome a lot.

19) Do they belong to any clubs or organizations? Which ones? Do they go regularly, or just occasionally?

HAHA NO THAT MEANS HE'D HAVE TO TALK TO PEOPLE.

20) Wing color and how do they deal with their wings?:

Cato covers his wings up as much as possible just because they're a really obvious weakness. The color of them is gold, based off the gladiator esque armor he wore in the Parade.

21) Did they change or grow in any way physically since coming to Luceti?:
His hair is getting kind of shaggy but other than that - nope!

22) What do they miss the most from home?:

His mom and dad. But he won't tell anyone that.

23) What does their handwriting look like? Do they write the way they talk, or is there a clear difference between the two?:

Cato's handwriting is sloppy chicken-scratch. It could be likened to how he speaks: brash and short, zero flourish.

24) Is the way they act in person different from the way they act over the journal system?:

Nope! He's a jerk 24/7!

25) Did they gain/lose any personal goals during their stay in Luceti?:

Oh yes. When he came to Luceti he had only recently died (not that it really matters how LONG he was dead - dead is dead for him) and his aspirations of being a Victor had been shattered towards the end.

It took him some time but he's stopped wanting to try again - he's become at peace with his death in a rather unhealthy way.

26) Is Luceti a technological upgrade, or downgrade for them? Have they adapted to these changes well?:

Erm...well it's both? The Battle Dome and the barrier around Luceti are very similar to the holograms used in the Capitol and the dome around the Arena of the Games. But Cato is from a mining district and it's wealthy but not very fancy. Practical. The Capitol really keep all their tech to themselves.

27) FOR STUDENTS: What is their favorite class? What is their least favorite class? What about their general behavior in school?:

--

28) FOR DRINKERS: What is their favorite drink? What is their least favorite drink? Do they prefer Good Spirits or Cloud Nine? What's their attitude about and while drinking?:

--
29) Do they have any special talents? If so, what are they?:

Heeee can fight and cook? Dats it.

30) Have they learned any new skills or abilities in Luceti? If so, what are they? Why and how?

None! This is going to be part of his development later tho.

31) What kind of habits do they have on drafts? Are they willing to kill or do they prefer to avoid fighting?

Cato loves drafts. Loves, loves, loves them. And he kills without discrimination regarding his enemies. Sometimes he can go a little crazy while choppin' folks up but he's...fine.

32) What kind of habits do they have on missions? What is their reason for going on them? What do they intend to use their points for?

He's been on zero missions. Clove's the mission go-er but he's been checking the posts out waiting for something that sounds like he could be useful.

33) How long have they been in Luceti? Has that length of time impacted them in any way?:

A year! It's had quite the effect on Cato. Taking him from a mostly catatonic ptsd sufferer to a ....less catatonic ptsd sufferer has taken time! But it's progress so...

34) How do they unwind and get back to normal after a brutal experiment, event, or draft?

Cato will sleep. A lot. Which means nightmares. A lot of them. Typically he'll try to lessen the impact by hanging out with Clove but it doesn't always work.

35) What is their worst experience from an experiment or kidnapping? Were there any that they actually liked?

Cato came back from an experiment once with memories of having lived in Luceti his whole life. This meant he was already married to Clove, already had a child with her, was a little older. It really messed him up when he came out of it because Clove wouldn't talk to him about it.

Oh messed up babies...

36) Anything else you want to note?:

[personal profile] tokennonbender 2013-06-20 05:52 am (UTC)(link)
1) Height: 5'8

2) Weight: 130lbs

3) Eye color/Hair Color: naturally wavey black hair down past her shoulders. Bright green eyes.

4) Age: Asami is eighteen!

5) Physical features: It is made readily apparent Asami is basically a bombshell. She's supposed to be (and is) rather gorgeous, enough that it makes people stare! She's also strong, but more in a 'wirey' sense than in a muscle sense.

6) Voice: Wow there are no good videos of Asami talking. Basically she has a slightly deep, age-appropriate voice, and tends to talk in a somewhat upscale fashion, though not in any way overly so. She sounds like a teenager, if a bit more polite.

7) Who do they live with and how are chores divided in their house/apartment?: She lives in Avatar house and she probably helps out with whatever needs doing. She doesn't actually know how to do laundry...but she can fake cleaning!

8) Their favorite (and least favorite, if you want) foods and who does the cooking in their house/apartment?: I think Katara probably cooks?

9) What they do during an average day in Luceti: Asami has to stay active. She's up early, out working at the forge, or in the battle dome, or training with the Kyoshi warriors, or by herself, or exploring, or at the library...she has to have things to do or she goes crazy.

10) Their general sense of fashion: Asami is quite attentive to her appearance, she is always wearing make-up and her clothes are always clean and orderly and matching. She has an eye for details about how she looks and takes her appearance very seriously.

11) Do they have any hobbies? Did they come up with these hobbies in Luceti, or was it something they always did?: At the moment, working at the forge. She also enjoys sparring, reading, and DRIVING RACECARS this is her favorite thing everything else go home.

12) Has the situation in Luceti changed their view on certain topics/the way they react to different things?: Not as of yet, although she's learning people like sokka and suki and katara and aang are normal people and not basically amazing legends. Although they're still pretty amazing to her.

13) Do they have a weapon? If so, do they carry it at all times or just under certain circumstances?: She has the zappy glove! It is an electrified taser-glove basically and she keeps it with her at all times.

14) Do they have any pets? Would these pets be at their homes, or do they hang out with the character in question?: Not at the moment, but she likes pets! She probably likes the avatar house pets.

15) Who are their neighbors?: ...No clue?

16) Who are their best friends in Luceti? How often do they spend time with them and doing what? She doesn't have one yet. She has friends, of course, and she's close to bolin and Korra but she hasn't really gotten to know anyone well enough that she'd call them her BEST friend. She probably hangs out with Zatanna somewhat often at this point.

17) On the flip side, is there anyone they actively don’t get along with? How do they interact, and would people know about this? Loki. :P

18) Their favorite areas/stores/hang-out locations?: The forge, the dome, clothes stores...

19) Do they belong to any clubs or organizations? Which ones? Do they go regularly, or just occasionally? Not at the moment! Although she works at the forge if that counts?

20) Wing color and how do they deal with their wings?: Her wings are violet with black tips, and she has had her clothing altered to allow them to remain outside of her body. She is mostly used to them now, and doesn't mind them nearly as much as she did when she arrived. Spending time learning to compensate for them made her rather fond of them.

21) Did they change or grow in any way physically since coming to Luceti?: She's only been here a month!

22) What do they miss the most from home?: Mako. The mansion. Her car.

23) What does their handwriting look like? Do they write the way they talk, or is there a clear difference between the two?: Asami has neat, clipped, orderly handwriting that is cursive with the occasional mix of print.

24) Is the way they act in person different from the way they act over the journal system?: Not really. Asami is basically the same in both regards.

25) Did they gain/lose any personal goals during their stay in Luceti?: Well she can't stop her father while she's here, so that's a problem...

26) Is Luceti a technological upgrade, or downgrade for them? Have they adapted to these changes well?: Sort of both, some things lower, many things MUCH higher. She is learning all the higehr things and adapting to all the lower she thinks it is fascinating!

28) FOR DRINKERS: What is their favorite drink? What is their least favorite drink? Do they prefer Good Spirits or Cloud Nine? What's their attitude about and while drinking?: Asami hasn't really started driving yet. She may. And when she does, probably red wine.

29) Do they have any special talents? If so, what are they?: She's mechanically inclined, she can kick ass, and her hair flip can silence men at ten feet! hehe.

30) Have they learned any new skills or abilities in Luceti? If so, what are they? Why and how? She's learning how to use modern tools, and the dome, and to fight like a Kyoshi warrior...and chaos theory mathematics...

31) What kind of habits do they have on drafts? Are they willing to kill or do they prefer to avoid fighting? She hasn't been on any yet.

32) What kind of habits do they have on missions? What is their reason for going on them? What do they intend to use their points for? None yet.

33) How long have they been in Luceti? Has that length of time impacted them in any way?: A month! And not yet. She's not happy and she's lonely but she's hiding it.

34) How do they unwind and get back to normal after a brutal experiment, event, or draft? Asami trains, reads, and works on her inventions. She also races cars, but she can't do that yet. :(

35) What is their worst experience from an experiment or kidnapping? Were there any that they actually liked? No comment. It's awkwaaaaaard. People will have to drag it out of her. Blame Sokka.

36) Anything else you want to note?: ASK QUESTIONS I love answering headcanon questions.

Adele Leblanc

[personal profile] fleurdesel 2013-06-20 07:02 am (UTC)(link)
1) Height: 5' 2"

2) Weight: I couldn't even guess. She's short with decent musculature so somewhere from 110 to 130 lbs

3) Eye color/Hair Color: Light blue eyes, light blonde hair

4) Age: 38

5) Physical features: A diagonal scar across her chest from the previous summer, just across her collar bones.

6) Voice: English and accented, her native French

7) Who do they live with and how are chores divided in their house/apartment?: She lives on her own for the most part in the house she'd just finished having built on the beach; and tends to the cooking and house work on her own. Whenever Derek visits she makes him do the cooking.

8) Their favorite (and least favorite, if you want) foods and who does the cooking in their house/apartment?: Moules à la normande is her favorite, something she rarely enjoys and hasn't had in a long while. Aside from that fresh fish, though she has developed an appreciation for pizza and beer. Corn dogs are her least, and she has a special place in her heart for loathing Vienna sausage. She finds them revolting. She does most of her own cooking, having been made sufficiently decent by Helios' patient tutelage.

9) What they do during an average day in Luceti: Jog around the village, do her daily saber/shooting/martial arts drills depending on the day directly afterward, mans the battle dome clinic until lunch, has lunch in her office whilst filing and doing research on medical procedures she knows not enough about or branches of medicine that are not her specialty due to associates needing some manner of knowledge, more clinic work, tea with Loki, a walk down the beach, and dinner at home.

10) Their general sense of fashion: At work, scrubs. During her drills and daily jog, a tracksuit. While at home on the beach, jeans and a light shirt, while out and about the village she has an assortment of blouses and skirts that fall along the side of solid colors and lighter fabrics. Everything is easy to move in and none of it is cut too low.

11) Do they have any hobbies? Did they come up with these hobbies in Luceti, or was it something they always did?: She has been continuing her compilation of notes in her private journal but has taken to photographing and recording the odd shifts and experiments as they happen for the sake of posterity. Not out of sentiment. At all. Ever. She is continuing her cooking lessons with Helios and coming along well.

12) Has the situation in Luceti changed their view on certain topics/the way they react to different things?: She is more comfortable around those she works with and slightly less abrasive with her patients as she has them, and has settled into something resembling contentment rather than spitting angry and bitter as she had been when she first arrived. At least outwardly. The anger flares now and then but she has enough to keep it out of her mind.

13) Do they have a weapon? If so, do they carry it at all times or just under certain circumstances?: Her revolver that she carries with her any time she leaves the house, a knife in her hair clip, a knife in her shoe, and her connection with Tsinku.

14) Do they have any pets? Would these pets be at their homes, or do they hang out with the character in question?: Oliver, the sofa tribble that devours socks, made a reappearance and now lives happily in her beach house with her.

15) Who are their neighbors?: Her closest would be Jack and Norrington.

16) Who are their best friends in Luceti? How often do they spend time with them and doing what? Her closest friend is Helios, followed shortly afterward by Clint, Sabriel, Steve, Derek, Jack Sparrow, Jack Holden and Eugene Woods, Max, Beast, Rapunzel, Sharpe, and Loki. Stark has managed to worm his way into this category as well. Helios, Clint, Sabriel, Derek and Loki she attempts to speak to at least once a day either over the journals or in person. Steve gets visits in the mornings when they both have time for coffee and french toast, and the odd visit where they discuss Obi-Wan and wax nostalgic about him. Beast she tries to visit three times a week to continue cooking lessons, though they've died off to twice a week since she was building her house. Sharpe she tends to wait until he wanders by or their paths cross to offer tea or converse with him. Jack and Eugene have a standing invitation to her house and she checks in on them and Max regularly. Jack Sparrow and Rapunzel get her at least once or twice a weak for tea.

17) On the flip side, is there anyone they actively don’t get along with? How do they interact, and would people know about this? Stark. He's irritating, though she respects him well enough. Isaac she avoids due to oddness, though she's less worried about this as of late.

18) Their favorite areas/stores/hang-out locations?: She spends the bulk of her time either on the beach or in the battle dome.

19) Do they belong to any clubs or organizations? Which ones? Do they go regularly, or just occasionally? She is a part of the clinic staff and precious little else.

20) Wing color and how do they deal with their wings?: Pale blue edged with cream, and she keeps them hidden under her shirt more often than not. She isn't comfortable to have them exposed.

21) Did they change or grow in any way physically since coming to Luceti?: Her muscle definition and density has increased from a year and a half of healthy living and frequent exercise, and her hair is long enough to reach her hips if left loose.

22) What do they miss the most from home?: Her family.

23) What does their handwriting look like? Do they write the way they talk, or is there a clear difference between the two?: Adele's handwriting is precise and ordered much the same way she speaks.

24) Is the way they act in person different from the way they act over the journal system?: She's more liable to swear in person than she is over the network.

25) Did they gain/lose any personal goals during their stay in Luceti?: She's gained several aside from learning to cook- almost all revolve around finding a way home.

26) Is Luceti a technological upgrade, or downgrade for them? Have they adapted to these changes well?: A rather steep downgrade, but after a year? Not so terrible.

27) FOR STUDENTS: What is their favorite class? What is their least favorite class? What about their general behavior in school?:

28) FOR DRINKERS: What is their favorite drink? What is their least favorite drink? Do they prefer Good Spirits or Cloud Nine? What's their attitude about and while drinking?: When she's feeling nostalgic? Apple Brandy or cider. For the most part Adele favors strong whiskey and crisp gin over all else; though she's grown an appreciation for amber beers recently. She drinks infrequently, keeping to tea and coffee rather than the harder liquor.

29) Do they have any special talents? If so, what are they?: Ballet and classical piano, though she knows the classic ballroom dances as well, she hasn't had an occasion or a partner in a long while. And an extreme albeit occasionally reckless irreverence.

30) Have they learned any new skills or abilities in Luceti? If so, what are they? Why and how? She's learned quite a bit of fencing from Jack and dueling from the last shift, continuing her training based off of Levarre's notes and recorded sessions from Obi-wan. Gambit had taught her the art of thrown weaponry and she's getting fairly good at that since it is the easiest to practice. Martial arts training has been set on the backburner without a proper instructor, though she goes through the forms she had been taught regularly. Helios has been invaluable in helping her learn to cook without making anyone sick. Now they tackle baking.

31) What kind of habits do they have on drafts? Are they willing to kill or do they prefer to avoid fighting? She works with the wounded and kills if she must. She only fights to protect her patients and only as a last resort.

32) What kind of habits do they have on missions? What is their reason for going on them? What do they intend to use their points for? She follows orders as given for the most part, and keeps her head down while focusing on her work. If fellow villagers are sent somewhere dangerous she'd rather they had a surgeon on hand for when things went wrong. Her points have been used on gifts for her friends and a camera for herself.

33) How long have they been in Luceti? Has that length of time impacted them in any way?: (IE. getting used to the place, not wanting to leave, being less/more inclined to do something about their situation, so on) A year and a half in and she's waffling between content complacency and plotting to find a way out. Waiting for others that are better equipped to handle it hasn't sat well for months so she is trying her hand on it. She likes what she has managed to build for herself but knows that no one should be here and is taking steps to find a way home.

34) How do they unwind and get back to normal after a brutal experiment, event, or draft? A thorough workout in the battle dome simulator, a bottle of wine- and a call to Derek for his company.

35) What is their worst experience from an experiment or kidnapping? Were there any that they actually liked? Her first shift with Stark stands out as her worst experiment simply because at the time, she sort of hated his face. Now she only slightly dislikes it, but it's still one she hates to think about. The shift to think herself Levarre was the most helpful, she's gained much from it.

36) Anything else you want to note?: Nope

Ion | Tales of the Abyss

[personal profile] distressedude 2013-06-20 06:26 am (UTC)(link)
1) Height: Around 5'5''

2) Weight: Sob less than 100 lbs maybe? Being sick for so long has really taken a toll on him.

3) Eye color/Hair Color: Green eyes and green hair.

4) Age: IN AULDRANT YEARS: Physically around 16, chronologically 4 and a half. But given he goes by Luceti years now, he says he's 17 now.

5) Physical features: He should look a bit older than his canon-self now, and he has a series of thin vertical scars on his neck from a mallynap a few years ago. He keeps his hair about the same length, though it's gotten a bit longer in the back.

6) Voice: Skip to 1:35 and you have Ion's Japanese VA, who has a slightly deeper voice than his English/Anime counterpart is more around how his voice sounds now. He's saying: "She screamed "I'll kill you bastards!" as she fell!" :'D

7) Who do they live with and how are chores divided in their house/apartment?: Ion lives in House One along with a good portion of the Abyss cast! He helps out with cleaning and little chores around the house when he's able, but he doesn't usually help with the cooking since he's not very good at it.

8) Their favorite (and least favorite, if you want) foods and who does the cooking in their house/apartment?: His favorite food can pretty much be summed up with anything Anise cooks, Nephry's hot cocoa, and the milkshakes from Seventh Heaven. He doesn't really have a least favorite food. The cooking is probably divided up between Anise, Nephry, and Tear.

9) What they do during an average day in Luceti: On an average day, Ion wakes up fairly late in the morning and takes a walk down to the plaza, and then spends a few hours in the library. He also tries to walk around the village at least once, usually finding a spot under a tree to sit and read. Somewhere in between that, he usually has lunch with Kohan and they spend some time being sickeningly adorable together. Also, he's made a habit of visiting the clinic at least once every few days for check-ups since getting sick (and even now that he's healthy).

10) Their general sense of fashion: Ion doesn't really wear his robes anymore, mostly due to the fact that they don't quite fit right anymore -- he's gotten taller and thinner since his days on Auldrant. His general fashion sense is a mixture of multiple layers and covering up. He wears tunics with long sleeve shirts underneath and leggings with shorts, even in the summer. He also always has his tuning fork necklace on, since it's one of the few things that keeps his connection with the Order back home.

11) Do they have any hobbies? Did they come up with these hobbies in Luceti, or was it something they always did?: Ion has become the biggest bookworm since coming to Luceti. Although most of his previous interest in history stemmed from reading the Score, in Luceti he's also garnered an interest in all sorts of history. Most of the books he reads are history books from various worlds or historical fiction. He also has a secret love of romance novels, which he probably spends more time reading than he should.

12) Has the situation in Luceti changed their view on certain topics/the way they react to different things?: LOTS OF CHANGES WOW. But to avoid writing a novel, the biggest recent change has been that Ion finally found a desire to live for the sake of living. Whereas on Auldrant he believed his life only had a purpose so long as he was useful, his time in Luceti led him to start thinking that maybe he doesn't need to be useful to have a purpose. But after being forced to face the possibility of dying for the second time from illness, he realized now that he doesn't need a reason or a purpose to be alive -- he just wants to live.

13) Do they have a weapon? If so, do they carry it at all times or just under certain circumstances?: He has a tuning fork staff that aids in channeling fonic artes, but he doesn't carry it around with him on a daily basis.

14) Do they have any pets? Would these pets be at their homes, or do they hang out with the character in question?: House One has Colonel, the Shiba inu puppy Tear got for Christmas! He's got a definite personality to him and tends to be a little protective around Ion since he's really only ever seen Ion being sick. He's usually around the house.

15) Who are their neighbors?: House 8, 2, and 3 are closest, but the only person he really knows out of them is Spock. Emil lives fairly close in House 4, but overall House 1 is pretty out of the way.

16) Who are their best friends in Luceti? How often do they spend time with them and doing what? Ion's best friend in Luceti is definitely Kohan, and since they became a couple in March, they've seen each other at least once every few days. They used to get lunch together more often, but Ion being sick meant they probably spent more time in his room just talking. Those who live in House One are probably the ones he spends the most time with, both given they live together and they're the people closest to him.

17) On the flip side, is there anyone they actively don’t get along with? How do they interact, and would people know about this? Sync is probably the number one person who gives Ion trouble in Luceti, and a lot of his CR would know about this by now. Also, for those who live in House one, Ion and Jade had a rather rocky start when Jade first arrived in Luceti, which led to Ion avoiding him for awhile.

18) Their favorite areas/stores/hang-out locations?: The library, the Tea Shop, the grove of cherry trees north of the village, Seventh Heaven, and he's pretty much a regular patient at the Plaza Clinic.

19) Do they belong to any clubs or organizations? Which ones? Do they go regularly, or just occasionally? Ion is definitely interested in becoming an active member of the LGBT club, but so far hasn't been able to do much given his health.

20) Wing color and how do they deal with their wings?: Ion's wings are dark green with a slight marble-like pattern on the feathers. He almost always hides them under his clothes, ever since losing one during a draft. Even around the house, he tends to hide them out of habit.

21) Did they change or grow in any way physically since coming to Luceti?: Yes! He's gotten much taller in Luceti (assuming you got by the heights shown in the anime, which proportionately make more sense). He's now taller than both Tear and Nephry, but still shorter than Luke. Also, he has the scars on his neck from a mallynap, as well as the large scar on his back/shoulder from when he had a wing cut off during a draft (this one he tends to hide because he doesn't like talking about it).

22) What do they miss the most from home?: He misses the world. He loved Auldrant, so much so that he was willing to sacrifice himself for the chance to save it and the people who lived there. He especially misses Daath, his home, and the people who lived there who always smiled so kindly at him whenever he walked through the city.

23) What does their handwriting look like? Do they write the way they talk, or is there a clear difference between the two?: Ion's handwriting is a very neat and beautiful cursive script, which mostly stems from having to practice perfecting the original Ion's handwriting (which required daily practice early on in his life). He tends to write how he talks, though he can be a little more formal in letters. Notably, despite his very well-practiced handwriting, he has no skill for drawing whatsoever, and any attempt to do so looks like something a preschooler would draw.

24) Is the way they act in person different from the way they act over the journal system?: Almost completely the same! He prefers talking in person rather than over the journal, though.

25) Did they gain/lose any personal goals during their stay in Luceti?: He didn't really lose any since it had been his choice to die on Auldrant. Rather, he's gained the goal that he wants to find a way to continue living his life in the way he wants, and to live for as long as this world allows him.

26) Is Luceti a technological upgrade, or downgrade for them? Have they adapted to these changes well?: Kind of hard to say since Auldrant's technology can vary in terms of how advanced it is (floating land in the sky and advanced machinery, but no telephones or TV) but overall, he's adapted well to the differences in Luceti.

27) FOR STUDENTS: What is their favorite class? What is their least favorite class? What about their general behavior in school?: Ion's favorite class is World Sharing, because he finds it so interesting to learn about all the different worlds that are out there. His least favorite is Art because he really just can't draw himself out of a paper bag. In school, he's pretty much a teacher's pet, answering questions whenever he can and always volunteering to help. He does have a bit of a habit of falling asleep in class when he gets too stressed out, and misses a few days every month from being sick.

28) FOR DRINKERS: What is their favorite drink? What is their least favorite drink? Do they prefer Good Spirits or Cloud Nine? What's their attitude about and while drinking?: ION DRINKS MILKSHAKES. He also apparently has a thing for spiked eggnog, if last Christmas is any indication.

29) Do they have any special talents? If so, what are they?: Ion is one of the few people in Luceti (and on Auldrant for that matter) capable of using Daathic Fonic Artes. They are very powerful and passed down only through Fon Masters, so only other replicas of the Original Ion can use them. They take a lot of energy to use, however, and often Ion finds himself too weak to stand after using one.

30) Have they learned any new skills or abilities in Luceti? If so, what are they? Why and how? He can use some of Nala's healing magic, but tends to prefer using healing artes as they are easier for him to use quickly and tend to be more potent.

31) What kind of habits do they have on drafts? Are they willing to kill or do they prefer to avoid fighting? Ion has a lot of trauma related to drafts (including a phobia of heights he developed from one), and even now he can't even talk about them without becoming very uncomfortable. He always tried to avoid fighting, but wouldn't be opposed to killing if it meant saving himself or the life of someone else.

32) What kind of habits do they have on missions? What is their reason for going on them? What do they intend to use their points for? Ion doesn't trust the malnosso much at all and has never participated on a mission.

33) How long have they been in Luceti? Has that length of time impacted them in any way?: Ion's been in Luceti for over 3 years now, and in that time he's changed a lot. He's found a family in Luceti that he never wants to let go, even though he knows in the back of his mind that his time here will always be temporary. However, the biggest change is that Ion knows now that he wants to do whatever he can to go on living, no matter what that means in the long run.

34) How do they unwind and get back to normal after a brutal experiment, event, or draft? When Ion gets particularly stressed, his method of coping usually ends with him ordering a giant milkshake at Seventh Heaven and making himself sick. It makes a good distraction, and has the added benefit of being delicious.

35) What is their worst experience from an experiment or kidnapping? Were there any that they actually liked? His worst experience is definitely what happened recently, in which the malnosso infected his body with miasma and basically forced him to live with a death sentence for a few months. It took away his freedom to walk and caused him more pain than he'd ever admit if asked. The only effect he can say he liked was one very uneventful kidnapping in which he spent the entire time sleeping and came back feeling totally refreshed after a few rough weeks. To this day, he's still not sure why that happened, but he's hardly complaining.

36) Anything else you want to note?: MY BBY IS GROWING UP!!
