Stubborn boy.

While Perona's not necessarily "charmed" by Chien's personality and attitude, she does feel grateful to him for helping her out when she really, really needed it. She also feels a little responsible that he fell into the water and is shivering as much as he is and stuff. It's that reason - and the fact that he's the only other company she has - that she's going to such lengths to keep him around and do what she can for him. If only to just pay him back and not have that hanging over her head for however long it may have hovered.

Aside from that, though? Yeaaah...Perona's not fond of Chien in the slightest. He's rude, loud, obnoxious, and painfully stubborn. Had she been from the paint where she meets Zoro in canon, she may have been a teensy bit nicer or more understanding, since he actually acts a lot like Zoro, but not by much. Zoro even now frustrates her, so yes. She hates people not listening to and obeying her, so that right there gets negative points.

She may treat him a little nicely in the future, just because she owes him a little gratitude, but don't expect it to last for too long, Perona's a brat and she doesn't deal well with people that don't buckle to her will.
