Daisy met Neliel Tu Oderschvank through Valvalis after she returned from her lone pilgrimage in the aftermath of the shift of Luceti Valley. Like many of Daisy's relationships after getting close to Valvalis, she no longer minds if somebody looks human but might not be. She sees Neliel as family, a sister to share her life and help.
The loss of Kirimi hit Daisy hard, moreso with her instinct to protect children, and she worries sometimes that any of the three of them may leave at any time, and it worries her. Sometimes, she wonders if it had hit Neliel hard as well, with her concerns over her mission at the Desert, and possibly over the shift (which hurt her just as much).
While there are a few feelings Daisy still holds for Valvalis to this day, Keimi has made her the happiest she has ever been, and so are Neliel and Valvalis towards eachother. Personal and emotional secrets aside, Daisy loves Neliel. The Spartan wishes happiness for her, and the same way she and Valvalis accepted her even after knowing about her origins, Daisy is willing to do the same.
Even if she finds it a little curious to know little of Neliel, when Daisy and Valvalis have confessed eachother's dark origins.
