Leon ... doesn't really know what to think of Hayate. Sure, there was the whole weirdness of seeing a guy who looks a lot like him (but seems to be missing a brain), but ... well, Leon's getting better about making assumptions and is trying to not get weirded out by Hayate's outlandish imagination. He thinks they can probably eventually be friends, but ... uh, first they need to get to some form of normal conversation.
