the paintball meme!
the paintball meme
▣ the malnosso have decided to host a paintball war in luceti. everyone has a paintball gun; no one is excluded.
▣ of course, everyone is desperate to win. if they do, they get a fabulous prize: a trip home? shift immunity? draft dodges?
▣ what the villagers don't know is that they might end up with the incentive to take things a little too seriously!
▣ get hit and maybe the droids will eventually try and take you away...
ᴍᴇᴛʜᴏᴅ:
ᴏᴘᴛɪᴏɴs:
oo1. the chips are down: you are the last two players left. do you break your alliance for the win or do you settle for a draw?
oo2. one last stand: you and your teammate are about to be annihilated in a fury of paint from the opposing team. this is your last moment together before the oblivion of defeat -- how will you spend it?
oo3. take cover: the pair of you just survived an opening offensive from the enemy team, but then you realize one of you got hit. how do you say goodbye? do you foolishly try to save them from the droids?
oo4. turncoat: you're on your own in this ruthless war; however, maybe you can seduce your foe into joining your side. just until you no longer need them, of course...
oo5. this is not a toy: the game is halfway over and you just realized that everything -- the guns, the ammo, the wounds -- are all real! can the two of you stop the war or will you be lucky enough to survive? but first you have to convince your partner that it's not just a game.
oo6. geneva convention: you're out of ammo and you're out of luck. can you convince your opponent to take prisoners instead of going for the "kill"? or will these be your last moments?
oo7. hostage situation: either you've been taken hostage or you'd better take your own hostage -- and fast, too. the enemy forces are closing in.
oo8. r&r: it's the end of the second day. the paintball war is tiring and you need to find a place to spend the night. better find someone you can trust to watch your back. even better if they happen to have some supplies to trade.

ʙᴏɴᴜs ᴏᴘᴛɪᴏɴs:
the malnosso must be using paint from the '50s. something dangerous and definitely toxic, because you're starting to act a little...weird. only when you get hit. either make up your own behaviour-altering effect or here are some suggestions:
01: exceptionally paranoid; 02: freakishly happy; 03: irrationally jealous; 04: way too affectionate; 05: embarrassingly weepy
