THE DAILY LIFE MEME
GREETINGS LUCETIANS. Long ago, on a distant server, Kyio once unleashed a pleasant meme. But then it's been over a year and yeah, we need to do it again. It's sort of like an info survey.
Well it's back, with new questions! And thanks to Dreamwidth's generous comment character count, these might even fit into a single comment! It's a 33 question survey/meme about your characters and their experiences and developments in Luceti. It'll give you a better idea of where your characters are at and let other people get a good sense of what your character is like and up to. It can make for interesting stuff, really.

2) Weight: After some elabourate researching on all of the body parts Beast possesses, I have made a very, very rough estimation of around 586 lbs.
3) Eye color/Hair Color: Fur is brown, but as a human his hair is closer to auburn; in either form his eyes remain a brilliant clear blue.
4) Age: 21 here in Luceti. His age is always debated between 19, 20 and 21, but I settled on 20 for when he came here.
5) Physical features: He's a seven-foot-tall chimera - looking beyond that, his most distinguishing features are his buffalo horns, his large muscular arms, his claws, his wolf tail, his fangs, and his well-defined gorilla eyebrows.
6) Voice: As a beast, it's Robby Benson's natural baritone voice; as a human, Benson uses his more well-known fake tenor voice.
7) Who do they live with and how are chores divided in their house/apartment?: At the moment, he's still on his own in House 17, and chores? He's still getting used to figuring out how to do chores, when he thinks of it... and since he has never had to do such a thing before, he rarely remembers chores at all except when he has to clear off a spot for something else. Overall, he at least remembers to get rid of food before he can smell it, but cleaning? It only really improved when Robert took care of the house while he was mallynapped.
8) Their favorite (and least favorite, if you want) foods and who does the cooking in their house/apartment?: He likes tea, ragout, pot-au-feu, and basically any soup, meat, or sweet thing he can be offered - he has become a particular sucker for dangos since Nagisa's birthday party last December. While he has learned how to make his own tea, he has been mostly sticking with the simplest, easiest-to-figure-out methods of cooking he can so that he will never have to touch that stove in his kitchen... so very, very simple dishes.
9) What they do during an average day in Luceti: Beast isn't very sociable, but he goes out almost daily for some kind of food or another at the grocery store/bakery. At some point in the week either Don or Usagi meets up with him in the library and gives him a reading lesson. In the evenings he's either home checking his journal or exploring random parts of the village. Beyond these three things he has a veeeery flexible routine.
10) Their general sense of fashion: Reflecting his time period, Beast generally wears an 18th-century-style shirt with breeches. He loves cloaks and constantly wears them, with or without a hood, and when he's out in public places he particularly likes to wear one of the two cloaks Mac and Rydia respectively gave him for his birthday.
11) Do they have any hobbies? Did they come up with these hobbies in Luceti, or was it something they always did?: He... does not really have any hobbies yet, no, besides checking the journals. At home he didn't have any hobbies to begin with besides moping around the castle, so most of his activities depend on who he interacts with and what's happening in the village.
12) Has the situation in Luceti changed their view on certain topics/the way they react to different things?: His social skills have improved since coming here, having learned better manners for certain etiquettes such as how to address people and how to invite someone to an event. He has been introduced to the idea of homosexuality as a very normal, natural thing for some individuals (though he still has trouble thinking about it), and has been overall more tolerant of people's company. His resentment towards books has basically diminished, too, thanks to the journals, showing Belle the library during the world-visiting event, and his re-learning how to read.
13) Do they have a weapon? If so, do they carry it at all times or just under certain circumstances?: Beast's only weapons are his teeth and claws.
14) Who are their neighbors?: He lives next door to Sheena in House 18, across from the Rec Center and the empty House 15, and near Community Building 2. He knows literally none of the residents, except he will join forces with Golbez in the upcoming RPG event.
15) Who are their best friends in Luceti? How often do they spend time with them and doing what? Beast and Robert have become pretty close friends over the course of time, the latter helping him to understand the advanced technology he never grew up with and to overall help him with just... his basic lifestyle, like with cooking and cleaning. An unlikely close friend has been Little Mac, whom he sees whenever the opportunity arises. Fuuko has essentially become his Mrs. Potts without being his servant (disregarding any recent experiments), and Ariel, Don and Usagi (the last one being his Hydra Social partner) are all separately teaching him how to read on a fairly regular basis.
16) Their favorite areas/stores/hang-out locations?: Besides his own house, Beast just mostly goes to the grocery stores and the item shop, so I suppose those would be his favourite places. He has heard about the Battle Dome, though, and is partially wondering what is so interesting about that, so he may inquire at some point in the near future.
17) Wing color and how do they deal with their wings?: Beast's wings are a royal blue, just like his dress suit in his canon's famous ballroom dance scene. He hates the colour because it doesn't match anything, so he always hides them under his cloak (also to protect them).
18) Did they change or grow in any way physically since coming to Luceti?: Not really... being 21, he doesn't really have much more maturing to do, and he's a beast... he's unlikely to change any time soon.
19) What do they miss the most from home?: In a way, he doesn't miss the castle too much, if only because he was in it for so long... but he really misses Belle, more than he realises, as well as his servants.
20) What does their handwriting look like? Do they write the way they talk, or is there a clear difference between the two?: Since his paws are so big, and since he is just re-learning his reading and writing skills, his handwriting (as well as his spelling) leaves very little to be desired and is only just legible for people who read often enough. The biggest difference between his speaking and his writing is that the stuttering is gone and there are less pauses in between words.
21) Is the way they act in person different from the way they act over the journal system?: Not too much, he's usually somewhat shy and/or awkward anywhere, though he's a little more secretive on the journals because he knows anyone can hear him.
22) Did they gain/lose any personal goals during their stay in Luceti?: He has sort of lost his chance at becoming human, though he now has almost infinite time to fall in love with someone and break the spell. However, while it usually does cross his mind whenever he meets a new girl, he has yet to meet anyone who appeals to him enough to think it's even possible. His feelings, ultimately, are still kind of hoping on Belle.
23) Is Luceti a technological upgrade, or downgrade for them? Have they adapted to these changes well?: Luceti is a HUGE upgrade for Beast, and he is still working on learning everything. Robert is a great help, though.
24) FOR STUDENTS: What is their favorite class? What is their least favorite class? What about their general behavior in school?: N/A
25) FOR DRINKERS: What is their favorite drink? What is their least favorite drink? Do they prefer Good Spirits or Cloud Nine? What's their attitude about and while drinking?: He doesn't do much drinking beyond the glass of wine at dinner. He has had very little experience with alcohol past that custom.
26) Do they have any special talents? If so, what are they?: All of his talents lie in his beastly form, mainly his strength and ability to use fangs and claws.
27) Have they learned any new skills or abilities in Luceti? If so, what are they? Why and how? As previously mentioned, he is being taught how to read again so he can write letters to Usagi and finally be able to read that stupid Luceti guide.
28) What kind of habits do they have on drafts? Are they willing to kill or do they prefer to avoid fighting? Beast has yet to be in a draft, but when he is, he will attack and kill by impulse to protect his friends and fellow Lucetians.
29) What kind of habits do they have on missions? What is their reason for going on them? What do they intend to use their points for? I highly doubt Beast will ever go on a mission, since he does not wish to benefit the Malnosso in any way whatsoever.
30) How long have they been in Luceti? Has that length of time impacted them in any way?: As of this meme, Beast has been in Luceti for almost eight months... he is slightly torn about the situation, since he really wishes to be home with Belle and hopefully break the spell, but at the same time... Luceti has taught him a lot about people and has given him many friends he doesn't wish to lose. This is the first place that has shown him how accepting people can be of others and he doesn't want to lose that. But he also hates the Malnosso, so it's a conflicted feeling.
31) How do they unwind and get back to normal after a brutal experiment, event, or draft? Depending on the experiment, but he usually deals with it the same way he deals with all of his problems, which is mope around in his lonely house. On the occasion, if the situation calls for it, he would go to someone he knows for advice, but almost always he gives himself time alone for a little while.
32) What is their worst experience from an experiment or kidnapping? Were there any that they actually liked? For experiments the worst would definitely be a tie between the Valentine's one with Pilouette, and where Fuuko was his teacup servant, both because of how coldly awkward it was afterwards and how unsure he was about whether or not the two would ever want to talk to him again. Kidnapping-wise, the only one he's had thus far involved him getting heavily drugged and shaven over most of his body (which he's still getting over a little). It's very difficult for Beast to like any of these events because he hates being controlled by someone else to begin with.
