The Daily Life Meme

THE DAILY LIFE MEME

GREETINGS LUCETIANS. Long ago, on a distant server, Kyio once unleashed a pleasant meme. But then it's been over a year and yeah, we need to do it again. It's sort of like an info survey.

Well it's back, with new questions! And thanks to Dreamwidth's generous comment character count, these might even fit into a single comment! It's a 33 question survey/meme about your characters and their experiences and developments in Luceti. It'll give you a better idea of where your characters are at and let other people get a good sense of what your character is like and up to. It can make for interesting stuff, really.

Feel free to respond to each other's tags with IC or OOC responses, questions, or what have you. Have fun!

Sokka Thunderaxe

[personal profile] markofthewise 2012-04-25 05:49 pm (UTC)(link)
1) Height: Currently 5'10 (178 cm). When he first arrived he was about 5'6. He's mostly done growing, though he may get another inch.

2) Weight: About 160 lbs

3) Eye color/Hair Color: Blue eyes with brown hair.

4) Age: 18 years old. (He arrived in Luceti a few months shy of 16)

5) Physical features: Sokka is a little more mature and sturdier than his icons indicate. This is a good idea of what he looks like in-game now.

6) Voice: Have some voice clips. Now that he's older, his voice is a little deeper and he doesn't go as high pitched anymore.

7) Who do they live with and how are chores divided in their house/apartment?:

Right now he lives with Katara, Suki, Zuko, and Aang. Inevitably Katara ends up doing a lot of the cleaning up, but Sokka has got into the habit of doing stuff too. Since he doesn't cook, he's often the one doing after-dinner dishes. He's also the sort of 'handyman' of the house for when things break and need fixing.

8) Their favorite (and least favorite, if you want) foods and who does the cooking in their house/apartment?:

Sokka loves meat, especially if it's spicy. He also enjoys baked goods, but doesn't like things that are too sweet. Vegetables are okay with him, but not his favorite. Steak is his favorite meal. Usually Katara cooks and Zuko sometimes helps out. Sokka is known to cook up some bacon, steaks, or whatever else if he's in the mood. He knows how to cook meat, at least.

9) What they do during an average day in Luceti:

Actually I am lame and gave him a vague sort of shedule. In general he spends his time at the smithy tinkering with stuff, or with his nose stuck in a technical or scientific book, or just generally goofing off and hanging out.

10) Their general sense of fashion:

Sokka still prefers the standard Water Tribe tunic (like this) since he does like to go sleeveless (especially now that he's getting muscular!). He usually gets his tunics made by Shiki now, even though she tries to push him to change the style a little bit. He's a little more open to other stuff these days. He's started to get used to the idea of blue jeans (it helps that they are blue!) and since he outgrew his boots from home, he'll wear boots of a more modern style. He still won't wear just regular shoes, though. He likes his boots. In the summer he might switch to sandals on a particularly hot day.

Right now where it's kind of cool out, he'll wear this flannel jacket that Buffy gave him. During a particularly bright day, he'll sometimes sport these cool shades, also a gift from Buffy. He generally trusts her sense of fashion.

11) Do they have any hobbies? Did they come up with these hobbies in Luceti, or was it something they always did?:

Sokka has grown to become pretty work-oriented in terms of training, working, and self-improvement. Which makes him appreciate his goof off time even more. This will generally be stuff like fishing, hunting, tinkering with stuff in his basement, trying to teach tricks to Momo and Hawky, or collecting cool weapons. He also enjoys coming up with new puns.

12) Has the situation in Luceti changed their view on certain topics/the way they react to different things?:

Sokka has mellowed out thanks to his time in Luceti. He's not as spastic, he's not as negative, and he's a whole lot more tolerant of things that don't fit into his notion of what the world is like. That's not to say he isn't critical of things that seem logical or stupid, but he'll usually just drop the matter instead of exasperating it by complaining about it. He's more confident and secure with himself, having overcome a lot of his self doubts about being a leader or a non-bender. He's also a lot less lazy now. Even though he can still be pretty lazy sometimes.

13) Do they have a weapon? If so, do they carry it at all times or just under certain circumstances?:

Sokka's primary weapons are his Space Sword and his Boomerang. In general he carries them around almost all the time, though sometimes he'll leave his sword sitting somewhere inside the house or smithy if he's just staying around the building. Aside from that, he has a few knives he'll always keep on his person and a bag of bombs that he sometimes keeps on him. During drafts he also has a small axe that has a lightning crest attached to it, thus earning him the name "Thunderaxe".

14) Who are their neighbors?:

Across the path is House 51 and 52. Those house Valvalvis and Neliel in 51 and Mithos and Martel in 52 (unless that's changed?). To the south is House 57, with Tony Stark. Sokka has met Tony, but in general he doesn't know his neighbors much at all.

15) Who are their best friends in Luceti? How often do they spend time with them and doing what?

Outside of his housemates, his best friend in Luceti is Winry. They work together and generally end up spending a lot of time together at the smithy and sometimes out it as well. He's also a lot closer to Buffy and they usually end up socializing over the journals or spontaneously meeting up, though Sokka will usually visit her at Good Spirits when she's at work. Shiki and Fenimore are both close friends and ones he will generally visit at their usual haunts and they will often track him down at the smithy.

16) Their favorite areas/stores/hang-out locations?:

Sokka works at the smithy and it's his favorite place to be, since it's his place and it's where he can feel the most knowledgable and useful. And he likes the couch there a lot. He'll spend time there even if he doesn't have stuff he's working with. Besides that, he will go to Good Spirits to talk to Buffy or All Passions to peruse the clothes and bother Shiki. He spends time in the library reading alchemy books or books about science or 'how to' guides. He likes to spend time by the ocean or the river, maintaining his boats too.

17) Wing color and how do they deal with their wings?:

Sokka has made holes in his tunics for them to slip through, but he'll wear a jacket or coat or armor over them at other times. But on a normal day, his wings are out for all to see.

18) Did they change or grow in any way physically since coming to Luceti?:

Sokka has grown about four inches, built up a lot of muscle due to his sword training and work at the smithy, grown out his hair a little longer (he now wears a braid with a bead his sister made for him), and has grown a small beard.

19) What do they miss the most from home?:

Family. Sokka misses his dad so much. It bothers him a lot that they finally got their dad back at the end of the war and that he's now spent ANOTHER two years without him.

20) What does their handwriting look like? Do they write the way they talk, or is there a clear difference between the two?:

Sokka's handwriting is pretty messy, but it's gotten better than it was. His writing is pretty similar to how he talks, but he avoids writing if he can.

21) Is the way they act in person different from the way they act over the journal system?:

He's a little more confident and relaxed in voice. In person, he's prone to being more spastic and nervous on uncomfortable subjects.

22) Did they gain/lose any personal goals during their stay in Luceti?:

One major shift for him was the change in his approach to being a warrior. Although it was important to him at home, he hit a major turning point in a misunderstanding with Sanji about how he stacked up to Katara (and just about everyone else in Luceti). As a result he spends more time than he ever did finding ways to make himself better, whether it's just training, devising new weapons, learning alchemy, or integrating Filial magic with his own style.

Also now that he's engaged, he's gained the personal goal of... well, being married eventually. Staying true and all that.

23) Is Luceti a technological upgrade, or downgrade for them? Have they adapted to these changes well?:

Upgrade. And he LOVES it so much. He's acclimated to everything very quickly by finding out how things work and in cases of stuff he can get from the store, taking them apart and trying to put them back together. As much as it interests him, it's kind of killed his penchant for inventions. Everything he's ever done or could do has already been invented. So rather than an inventor, he's more of a mechanic these days and has gained a penchant for repairing or building things.

24) FOR STUDENTS: What is their favorite class? What is their least favorite class? What about their general behavior in school?:

Science. He also likes math for the sheer logic behind it. He dislikes World Sharing, because most worlds are just nonsensical and he's not all that interested in them... He pays attention in class, more so than he used to, but he still doesn't do his homework. He only attends the first half of classes before lunch and intends to stop going (except to specialty classes) after this school year ends.

25) FOR DRINKERS: What is their favorite drink? What is their least favorite drink? Do they prefer Good Spirits or Cloud Nine? What's their attitude about and while drinking?:

Sokka doesn't drink. Much. Unless talked into it. He likes bubbly juicy drinks though. And he prefers Good Spirits. But he and Suki are known to go on dates to Cloud Nine. In general he's not big on drinking, since he doesn't find it very tasty.

26) Do they have any special talents? If so, what are they?:

Hunting, fishing, smithing, construction... he's handier than he realizes, despite his lack of special powers. He doesn't tend to realize how talented he is because he ends up getting fixated on things he's not good at, like art and cooking.

27) Have they learned any new skills or abilities in Luceti? If so, what are they? Why and how?

Sokka has vastly improved his skills in smithing and metallurgy since learning from Piandao. He's picked up Tennen Rishin style from training with Okita Souji and is a very competent swordsman now. Also he has begun learning alchemy from Edward Elric, but still can only do simple transmutations and only if he has lots of reference materials on hand.

28) What kind of habits do they have on drafts? Are they willing to kill or do they prefer to avoid fighting?

Sokka will usually fight with 'Team Avatar', whoever might happen to be with him. He usually will try to stay in a defensive position where he can help the most people, usually helping out in a strategic role by overseeing things and coordinating with other groups. Although he dislikes killing, he's come to accept it as a part of life in Luceti.

29) What kind of habits do they have on missions? What is their reason for going on them? What do they intend to use their points for?

Sokka isn't big on taking combat missions and if he does, he doesn't go for war zones. He'd rather do something more constructive than killing cultists. He keeps getting called to do missions aroud the Farmlands, much to his annoyance. Originally he started going on missions to earn enough points to get the Barcode-hiding Adhesive so Yue could be exempt from a draft, but now he just generally is saving up his points for anything he might need. He goes on missions mostly to get perspective on the outside world.

30) How long have they been in Luceti? Has that length of time impacted them in any way?:

Two years. For the most part, he's started to think of Luceti as 'home' and in a sense, come to terms with the fact that they could be there for a very long time (talking to people on missions has really solidified that idea too). Although he tries to stay optimistic about one day escaping and being home, he's developed a sort of defeatist attitude about the whole thing.

31) How do they unwind and get back to normal after a brutal experiment, event, or draft?

He sort of internalizes it and tries not to let it bother him. He tries to take it in stride. In the event of particularly harsh experiences, he may take some time to himself by camping in the forest, going on a mission, or burying himself in work. If he's really bothered by it, he'll be pretty obvious with it in the way he becomes serious and cold.

32) What is their worst experience from an experiment or kidnapping? Were there any that they actually liked?

Aside from spending a month body swapped with Haruhi (which wasn't due to the above), his most humiliating was being turned into a nine year old, but without mentally regressing to being nine. Both times he fell in love (with Toph and then Fenimore) really bothered him a lot afterward.

He actually really liked being given super strength though. That was an awesome kidnapping effect.

33) Anything else you want to note?:

Sokka has a Headcanon post! And it's got a lot of stuff, yup. Check it out.

endgames: (Soldier)

Nara Shikamaru

[personal profile] endgames 2012-04-25 09:45 pm (UTC)(link)
1) Height:

He's 5'9 in Luceti (about 175 cm). When he first came in he was 5'7 (170 cm, his canon height), but he's grown since then.

2) Weight:

He's... lean. 117 lbs (53.4 kg) is the canon measure. Kishimoto, why are your ninjas walking sticks. Uh. I pretend he's about 130-140 lbs instead. Still underweight, but not as bad.

3) Eye color/Hair Color:

Hair is black. When the anime bothers to show it, his eyes are brown (see icon).

4) Age:

17 (biologically, he'll probably be 18 soon)

5) Physical features:

His hair. It's always in that spiky, pineapple-like ponytail. His ears are pierced too: plain silver studs, one in each ear. Due to icons being tiny you can't always see them, but I picked an icon where you can make one out. He's fairly well-built.

6) Voice:

Example here. Deep. Typically speaks with a lazy drawl. He shares a voice actor with [personal profile] gohon too.

7) Who do they live with and how are chores divided in their house/apartment?:

His roommate is Masaomi. As for chores... idk. They're teenage boys. Shikamaru does his own laundry and picks up after himself, but doesn't go out of his way to do much else.

8) Their favorite (and least favorite, if you want) foods and who does the cooking in their house/apartment?:

Favorite food is grilled mackerel (with kelp). Seafood in general. Least favorite is eggs, especially if they're boiled.

I think they alternate with the cooking? They've both done it. It's probably a case of whoever-gets-hungry-first. When they're not just cooking for themselves, that is.

9) What they do during an average day in Luceti:

Various ninja training (shocker, I know) out in the forest, close to the hours the school keeps. Somewhere in that day there's time set aside to teaching Masaomi how to use chakra too. He hangs out with friends when he sees them, but since most of them live in his building the only one he regularly goes out of his way to talk to is probably Katara.

Afternoons are his free time. He'll cloud watch, or go play a game like shogi either with someone like Asuma or on his own. He has a habit of lurking up in trees/on rooftops around the plaza too, to people watch. Evenings are usually serious projects time. Secret Konoha stuff, secret ninja stuff, secret research stuff, etc. It varies, but he usually has at least one to keep busy with. He regularly checks his journal throughout the day, and hacks what he can.

10) Their general sense of fashion:

He typically sticks to canon get-up since he uses it while he trains: the green flak jacket, etc. His casual clothes are pants and loose, long-sleeved shirts, some of which hang open. He's always wearing a mesh undershirt (see icon above this comment).

Given the icon problem again, it's worth noting he almost always has his forehead protector tied to his left arm, like so:

11) Do they have any hobbies? Did they come up with these hobbies in Luceti, or was it something they always did?:

Cloud watching. Napping. Strategy games: specifically shogi and go, but he's picked up more in Luceti, like Pai-Sho. He's picked up a lot of game boards and decks of cards and puzzles - they make up about half of what he owns here.

12) Has the situation in Luceti changed their view on certain topics/the way they react to different things?:

Gah. It's a complicated mess, but the ninja system in his world to some extent. Leadership in combat situations in another, because he has to adapt it to work with other people. In a sadder angle, he's also never really questioned a lot of things (certain friendships, himself as a person, etc) until Luceti.

13) Do they have a weapon? If so, do they carry it at all times or just under certain circumstances?:

Har har. Wanna see his usual arsenal when he's gearing up? 8| Please note the boxes are filled with more projectile weapons and explosives.

But seriously. When he leaves his apartment he is always carrying kunai, shuriken, and exploding tags at the least. Normally, he carries a lot of those in addition to ninja wire, and his trench knives which channel his shadow chakra.

14) Who are their neighbors?:

On his floor, there's Ino, Tenten, Sakura, and Temari. Troublesome girls. Everywhere. This is 80% the reason he was cool with Masaomi moving in, by the way.

Uhh. Besides that. Residents of CH1? The building is also close to House 11 (Pokemon house) and House 12 (Raven and Judith)

15) Who are their best friends in Luceti? How often do they spend time with them and doing what?

All of his friends from home, for starters (though in particular I will say Asuma, Ino, and Naruto). And then Masaomi and Katara. He probably spends the most time with Masaomi by virtue of living with him. Lot of inane stuff all around with all of them, though.

16) Their favorite areas/stores/hang-out locations?:

Forest, cloud-watching hill, plaza rooftops, in that order. He'll probably like going out to the mountains more often too, now that he knows one of the deer that lives on his land back home is out there.

17) Wing color and how do they deal with their wings?:

Generally keeps them tucked under his clothes. Most of his hobbies involve laying on his back, so a while back he made himself get used to it again even with the wings.

18) Did they change or grow in any way physically since coming to Luceti?:

Gotten taller, gained a few pounds. The usual. He has a scar from a gunshot wound to the stomach he got back in March, if that counts.

19) What do they miss the most from home?:

Everything. Sob. The people, the weather, the kids, the noise, the crowded streets, his clan's forest, his family... he is so freaking homesick right now, good god.

20) What does their handwriting look like? Do they write the way they talk, or is there a clear difference between the two?:

Legible. Has to be, with all the mission reports he's written back home. Casual writing comes off much how he talks; anything else is more formal.

21) Is the way they act in person different from the way they act over the journal system?:

Not really. Though he'll only talk about matters he deems serious off the journals.

22) Did they gain/lose any personal goals during their stay in Luceti?:

Oh god, losing, yes. He promised his sensei as he was dying that he would look after his kid. He took it a step further and decided to make that kid his student someday. He'd visit the mother every day and meet her after hospital check-ups and everything... only to end up here for over a year and a half right before it was due to be born, as he keeps being reminded.

There's also other responsibilities and war stuff on top of that. Guys why is this meme so depressing.

23) Is Luceti a technological upgrade, or downgrade for them? Have they adapted to these changes well?:

Technological upgrade. They don't have instant communication like the journals, and while they have electricity and such, it's typically your small appliances. He's picking up on computers, though.

24) FOR STUDENTS: What is their favorite class? What is their least favorite class? What about their general behavior in school?:

He is not a student but I answer anyways. School is boring and he doesn't get why anyone over thirteen goes there. 8|

25) FOR DRINKERS: What is their favorite drink? What is their least favorite drink? Do they prefer Good Spirits or Cloud Nine? What's their attitude about and while drinking?:

N/A he avoids alcohol like the plague

26) Do they have any special talents? If so, what are they?:

...ninja skills? Uh. He's good with deer. I also headcanon he has a photographic memory.

27) Have they learned any new skills or abilities in Luceti? If so, what are they? Why and how?

He's gotten better at cooking. When Chouji left, he started learning from the recipe cards Sanji gave him, so he could feed himself on his own. He knows a little filial magic, just to be versed in it.

28) What kind of habits do they have on drafts? Are they willing to kill or do they prefer to avoid fighting?

Shikamaru usually takes a big part in the overall strategy. He's more social out there than he is in the village, though more serious. He doesn't hesitate to kill, and is quick and methodical about it.

29) What kind of habits do they have on missions? What is their reason for going on them? What do they intend to use their points for?

Same as on the drafts. Since missions groups are smaller, he makes a point to talk to every member of his team when he can. As for the points, they can stack up, he doesn't care. He signs up for missions because he knows he's capable, and wants to do his part to keep his teammates alive. There are things to learn too, and it's a way to show the Malnosso they can cooperate.

30) How long have they been in Luceti? Has that length of time impacted them in any way?:

He's been in Luceti for a year and eight months. It's... steadily getting to him more and more, which is finally starting to show.

Shikamaru's used to being able to think his way out of any situation if given the time, but he's been given ample amounts of it and gotten nowhere. He prefers to focus on what he can do, but it really hits him when things pile up. He's becoming focused on the idea that he's not doing enough.

31) How do they unwind and get back to normal after a brutal experiment, event, or draft?

If injuries are involved, sleep. Sometimes he'll go off on his own for a while. Unless it really effected him in a bad way though, he just goes right back to his normal routine.

32) What is their worst experience from an experiment or kidnapping? Were there any that they actually liked?

He's never liked any of them, no. Oddly enough, the ones that have got to him most were the ones he wasn't the one experimented on. IE. when Chouji nearly died, or this last one when some important people forgot knowing him.

33) Anything else you want to note?:

Um. I take his characterization from equal parts manga and anime, but there's a lot in the latter that you don't see in the manga. Most people aren't as familiar with anime canon though, so I guess if you have questions feel free to ask??

12) Has the situation in Luceti changed their view on certain topics/the way they react to different things?: Jay has somewhat reverted to his more pessimistic self. He's less trusting of people than he was before.

14) Who are their neighbors?: Jay lives in C3, Floor 2, Room 10. He's got the entire floor to himself.

15) Who are their best friends in Luceti? How often do they spend time with them and doing what? Norma and Grune from the Legacy. He doesn't spend much time with them. They only run into each other at the most awkward times during experiments.

16) Their favorite areas/stores/hang-out locations?: The plaza, the forest. Occasionally the Seventh Heaven restaurant.

17) Wing color and how do they deal with their wings?: Purple wings that he keeps covered under his clothes. He's done that ever since the Malnosso started the drafts.

23) Is Luceti a technological upgrade, or downgrade for them? Have they adapted to these changes well?: Not much of an upgrade.

24) FOR STUDENTS: What is their favorite class? What is their least favorite class? What about their general behavior in school?: N/A

25) FOR DRINKERS: What is their favorite drink? What is their least favorite drink? Do they prefer Good Spirits or Cloud Nine? What's their attitude about and while drinking?: N/A

26) Do they have any special talents? If so, what are they?: He's still good at gathering information, even without his network. Still, his ability is limited compared to home.

27) Have they learned any new skills or abilities in Luceti? If so, what are they? Why and how? Nothing really new.

28) What kind of habits do they have on drafts? Are they willing to kill or do they prefer to avoid fighting? Jay is more than willing to kill. If he's drafted with people he doesn't know/trust, he'll resort to fighting on his own. He will team up with people he knows.

29) What kind of habits do they have on missions? What is their reason for going on them? What do they intend to use their points for? Jay would try to learn anything he can during the missions. He might try to get a pet later, so he won't be so lonely.

30) How long have they been in Luceti? Has that length of time impacted them in any way?: Two and a half years. He's still determined to find a way home, and he doesn't want the place to impact him much, if at all. So he tries to keep himself in solitude most of the time.

31) How do they unwind and get back to normal after a brutal experiment, event, or draft? He'll write his reflections in a separate record, a regular notepad.

32) What is their worst experience from an experiment or kidnapping? Were there any that they actually liked? The worst experiment was when he was forced to play the part of a princess in a fairy tale and kidnapped by Moses the Rogue, and Norma the Dragon, and then Kain the Dragon. The worst kidnapping effect was when he was blinded for a week.

33) Anything else you want to note?: IDK, let's do something cool.

in a separate comment because whoop!

1) Height: I forget what I settled on. I think 5'4"!

2) Weight: Around 115 lbs. She's on the thin side for her height and build, which is mostly muscle!

3) Eye color/Hair Color: Her icons are accurate for this. Jet black hair, bright blue eyes.

4) Age: Physically and mentally, she's 17, and looks it. Technically, she's only 3 and a half or so.

5) Physical features: Again, her icons are mostly correct for this, except for one major thing: her hair! It's quite a bit longer than most of her icons show, and mostly these days she keeps it up in a loose braid, or a french braid if she's working or training. She's also got some scars here and there, notably one that goes from her hip to her shoulder, in a diagonal slash across her torso - but you can't see that, most of the time. If she wears sleeveless dressed, which she does in the summer, you can see the last half-inch of it peeking over the top, usually. There's also an old, faded scar on her right arm where it was once very badly broken and not healed correctly.

6) Voice: Youtube link! Let's just say I know this entire scene almost by heart and can recite the lines before they're said. Let's just say that that's a thing.

7) Who do they live with and how are chores divided in their house/apartment?: Right now she lives with Roxas, Kairi, and Riku. Their house has gotten a lot smaller. :c Xion likes to cook, and does, sometimes. (Something she gets from her dad.) I sort of like to imagine that she and Kairi nudge Roxas and Riku into taking on chores when it's necessary.

8) Their favorite (and least favorite, if you want) foods and who does the cooking in their house/apartment?: Her favorite food is basically anything Sanji has ever made for her. She doesn't like sour things. She tends to prefer simple dishes over complex ones. She's not a huge fan of meat, but will eat it just the same. And see above for cooking.

9) What they do during an average day in Luceti: Xion stays busy. She works at the clinic, goes to school regularly, trains with the Kyoshi warriors, and is in the SOS Brigade. To some extent it's a coping mechanism - keeping busy keeps her from being sad if bad things happen. But when she's okay, she genuinely enjoys everything she does! (I mean, this is the girl who seriously, on the ONE day of vacation given out of DOZENS of consecutive days of working, decided the best use of her precious little time off was to ... work, by way of training for hours. 8|)

10) Their general sense of fashion: Xion never wears her canon uniform anymore. She only would if it were an experiment, or she was making constant use of her darkness corridors - but even then, she'd only wear the coat, and not the rest of the ensemble. She likes pretty colors - sometimes bright, sometimes pastel - and floral patterns. She tends to dress in a way that's very soft and feminine, a big contrast from when she first arrived in Luceti, but if she's working at the clinic or training, you can find her in pretty practical stuff - usually a tank or t-shirt (or long-sleeved shirt if it's cold) and pants, mostly in black. That's a holdover from her Organization days.

11) Do they have any hobbies? Did they come up with these hobbies in Luceti, or was it something they always did?: All of her hobbies are from Luceti, except for one - sea shell collecting was something she developed back home. Baking is a hobby for her. Music has become something of a hobby too, though not a serious one by any means. She likes doing crafts, usually as gifts, and will work on little things every so often - jewelry being her favorite thing to tinker with, though she almost never wears the pieces she makes. She doesn't think they're very good.

12) Has the situation in Luceti changed their view on certain topics/the way they react to different things?: She thinks of herself as a real person now, and not just a Replica. If the topic were to come up, she'd react pretty strongly - not get upset, but rather, stand up for herself, and get angry, instead. She's a lot more self-confident than she used to be.

13) Do they have a weapon? If so, do they carry it at all times or just under certain circumstances?: She uses her swaxe a lot. For a while she was working with a bow, but gave it up when her teachers left the village. She doesn't always carry her swaxe with her, having learned how to capably fight hand-to-hand, but she will if for some reason she feels the threat level is raised (like a particular experiment going on, or an enemy on the loose).

14) Who are their neighbors?: Houses 13 and 7 are 14's most immediate neighbors. But Xion doesn't know them very well! She's much more fond of house 6, which is where her dad lives.

15) Who are their best friends in Luceti? How often do they spend time with them and doing what? Roxas is her bff for life, and she spends a lot of time with him - more than she used to, before Axel and Sora went home. Luke and Sanji, her boyfriend and father, respectively, are also people she sees a lot of. Otherwise she's not too selective with her friends; outside of those three, she'll spend time with all her friends as much as she's able, fairly equally.

16) Their favorite areas/stores/hang-out locations?: Xion is kind of all over the place, between all the things she's involved in. Probably the most memorable spot in all of Luceti for her is the bridge near house 14. A TON of things have happened to her there - she met Wolfwood there during one horrific Halloween, got chased there by a demonic Naoki (and fell off!), confessed her feelings to Luke there, went there to think when she hit her lowest, darkest point ever (when she was thinking it'd be better if she went home - and died - than stayed), was just leaving there the night Vanitas attacked and almost killed her... A CRAZY ASSORTMENT OF STUFF. Memories are very important to her, so she goes there a lot of she needs to think, associating it in her mind with all the things that have happened to her in this place.

17) Wing color and how do they deal with their wings?: Her wings are violet! She has made adjustments to all her clothes so that her wings can fit through them. She hates having her wings stuck under cloth - it makes her very uncomfortable. Xion is very expressive with her wings, and I really ought to note it with her tags more - they often betray what she's feeling emotionally if she's not saying it, or will punctuate her statements, all with little twitches, flutters, flaps, and so forth.

18) Did they change or grow in any way physically since coming to Luceti?: She grew about two inches. And, as noted earlier, her hair is much longer now! She grew out of all the baby fat she had around her face, too. She definitely looks like a young woman these days.

19) What do they miss the most from home?: 8| Maybe the ability to travel between worlds. But there is nothing about The Castle That Never Was that Xion truly misses.

20) What does their handwriting look like? Do they write the way they talk, or is there a clear difference between the two?: Her handwriting is very neat and a little curly. It used to be kind of block print-ish, but she slowly stylized it as she got older. Xion is pretty forthright in the way she communicates no matter what the medium, so the way she writes is pretty similar to how she talks. It's just more deliberate.

21) Is the way they act in person different from the way they act over the journal system?: Nope. See above! Xion is pretty much just Xion. When she needs to hide things, she will, though she's never been 100% terrific at it, but otherwise, she tends to sound the same pretty much no matter what! She can - or used to - be shy, but she'd express that the same way over the journals as she would in person. It would take a pretty exceptional circumstance to make her act more shy or scared or something in person than over the journal - like something really embarrassing, or a really dangerous person, respectively.

22) Did they gain/lose any personal goals during their stay in Luceti?: Well, Xion always wanted to be real. And in her two and a half years here, she's basically decided she is! That was a life goal. These days she just dreams of the future.

23) Is Luceti a technological upgrade, or downgrade for them? Have they adapted to these changes well?: I think it's a downgrade, but it wouldn't have made a real impact either way. TWTNW was a really spartan sort of place, with very little in the way of amenities. So Luceti was probably a technological step back, but a major overall step up! I mean, they have sunlight here.

24) FOR STUDENTS: What is their favorite class? What is their least favorite class? What about their general behavior in school?: Xion likes writing and reading, as those are her real strengths, and enjoys that class a lot. She also favors art, music, and magic. Her least favorite class has always been world sharing, mostly because her world is kind of horrible and talking about it tends to invite questions. She's gotten a little less defensive about it over the years, but she still doesn't talk about it unless she has to for some reason.

25) FOR DRINKERS: What is their favorite drink? What is their least favorite drink? Do they prefer Good Spirits or Cloud Nine? What's their attitude about and while drinking?: 8|

26) Do they have any special talents? If so, what are they?: Like other darkness-associated people from her world, Xion can make use of darkness corridors - literal hallways between worlds carved out from the darkness that exists all around. Of course, she can't move between worlds here, but she does use the corridors, often referred to as portals, to move around the enclosure itself. The downside is that too much exposure to darkness can taint a person's heart, after a while - that's why the Organization wears those funny coats. But a few trips won't hurt you (there are a few times in canon when people go through corridors without protection fro darkness), and she doesn't always wear her coat to traverse the darkness.

... also, she can sing! 8D Xion has a lovely singing voice.

27) Have they learned any new skills or abilities in Luceti? If so, what are they? Why and how? Hand-to-hand combat is a new one for her. She never knew anything about it back home, so it was a brand new and difficult thing for her to learn here! But she's really grown into it. New types of magic are also in her arsenal, thanks to some training from BBS folks. Finally, she does know her way around archery, though it's not her forte. Cooking is also something she only picked up in Luceti.

28) What kind of habits do they have on drafts? Are they willing to kill or do they prefer to avoid fighting? Xion struggles with killing people. She hates it, but she's growing ever more numb to it as time passes by. She favors area-of-effect spells to knock out or disable enemies. Often she'll go after their wings, rather than kill them directly - it's really as good as killing them, but she doesn't have to see their faces when they die, that way. She was quite literally created to be a weapon and a soldier, so she's not averse to fighting by any means - but the unpleasantness of killing is hard for her. What she has started to do is default to a field medic position - she knows medicine, magic, herbal remedies, you name it - this girl has studied it.

29) What kind of habits do they have on missions? What is their reason for going on them? What do they intend to use their points for? She's only gone on one so far, though she definitely wants to do more. She favors missions where she can serve in a medic role. Her goal is to win some of the shift- and kidnapping-related items and give them to her friends; though some additions to the house would be nice!

30) How long have they been in Luceti? Has that length of time impacted them in any way?: Xion arrived in November of 2009. So she's been here for ... a very long time! Right about two and a half years, now.

31) How do they unwind and get back to normal after a brutal experiment, event, or draft? It really depends on the thing. But mostly, she tends to throw herself into her work and her duties. She'll take on extra shifts at the clinic, or work much harder in school - anything she can take to distract her from her thoughts. Dwelling has never been good for her. But sometimes she'll just shut down, and when that happens, she'll just stay home for a few days, and usually attach herself to Roxas's side, saying little and not straying far from him at all.

32) What is their worst experience from an experiment or kidnapping? Were there any that they actually liked? One of the worst kidnappings she ever went through was one where the Malnosso fucked with the memories embedded in her, and made her look like she had Sora's face. It was horrifying for her, and when she came home she kept trying to hide, convinced she still looked like him. Experiment wise, Halloween 2010 was one of the worst. The family AU experiment was both one of the best and one of the worst experiences for her. She got to have a childhood, a real one, and real parents, and Luke even proposed to her! But none of it was real, and she ended up feeling very bitter about all of it afterwards. These days she looks back on it with a sort of rueful nostalgia and mixed fondness.

33) Anything else you want to note?: Xion's changed a lot as she's gotten older. She's not the same girl anymore! And that's always kind of a strange thing for a roleplayer - you wonder a lot about how much your portrayal should stack up against canon. But she's been in Luceti longer than she lived in her canon - her game takes place over the course of less than a year. So if she sounds different now, I'm pretty much okay with that! I will probably soon be swapping out some of her icons for ones where she has longer hair, and adding a few of my own making where she looks older.

Also, Sanji is her adoptive father. It's kind of a big deal for them both! But it only gets casually mentioned, at best.

Medicine is a big deal for her. It's become a big focus of her life - she takes her work at the clinic extremely seriously, and is always trying to teach herself more about many different styles of healing. She's still proficient in combat, but as time passes, she's started to shift more and more towards a support/medical role, because she likes to help people - not to mention it makes her feel like she's being useful.

1) Height: 150 cm (4' 11") (She won't be growing at all with things the way they are at the moment. Plot reasons be damned.)

2) Weight: 41 kg (90 lbs)

3) Eye color/Hair Color: Greeny-grey hair with light brown eyes.

4) Age: 17, though she looks 15.

5) Physical features: Nothing that isn't shown in her icons. One thing her icons do cut off now and then is her hair length which reaches mid/lower back and is held back in a bow.

6) Voice: Ai Nonaka and Hilary Haag.

Also KAMEHAME-DOKAAAN!

7) Who do they live with and how are chores divided in their house/apartment?: She lives with Nagisa and Kotomi in House 26. They probably all split the chores like cleaning and dusting up between them. Fixing things might require someone to come in and lend a hand because even if Kotomi knows how to fix something none of them are that physical.

8) Their favorite (and least favorite, if you want) foods and who does the cooking in their house/apartment?: Cake, given the amount she bakes. Cooking is something else they probably take turns at doing.

9) What they do during an average day in Luceti: Assuming school is on, Fuuko goes to school and spends her day there. On off days she visits the tea shop and works there. During her spare time Fuuko can often be found at home tending to her pet starfish and carving more sculptures, or sometimes out with friends. She very rarely leaves the village and prefers sticking close to what she's familiar with.

10) Their general sense of fashion: When her school uniform doesn't cut it Fuuko tends to wear a hoodie/tracksuit top with a plain shirt underneath and shorts. Like so. She's also fond of overall like clothing.

11) Do they have any hobbies? Did they come up with these hobbies in Luceti, or was it something they always did?: Wood carving has always been one of her big hobbies. Most of the time she's carving starfish but now and then she tries her hand at other small things. She's also been practicing her baking and she's vastly improved since the first cake she baked here which... Exploded. All over the floor.

12) Has the situation in Luceti changed their view on certain topics/the way they react to different things?: 'Weird guys'. Basically, anyone who acts much too forward and throws around things like love, romance and such. Though she's still wary of weird guys, Fuuko has been shown how to 'see the light' and has even been given weird guy lessons by Luna to help her out.

13) Do they have a weapon? If so, do they carry it at all times or just under certain circumstances?: Her starfish carvings are totally weapons. They deal blunt damage and have +50 ATK/+25 MATK. She is a master of hitting people with them.

14) Who are their neighbors?: Leonhardt, Joshua and Estelle in House 24 on one side and CH3 on the other.

15) Who are their best friends in Luceti? How often do they spend time with them and doing what? Nagisa is Fuuko's BFF. Seeing as they live together they spend time doing chores together, going to school, etc. Kotomi is another close friend who acts as Fuuko's encyclopedia for all things starfish. She drops by to say hello to Ven, Beast and Gruneandsophie and spends time with Sheena at the tea shop.

16) Their favorite areas/stores/hang-out locations?: When not at home she's normally in the tea shop or in the plaza carving things if the weather is good.

17) Wing color and how do they deal with their wings?: Fuuko's wings are the same colour as her hair. They're normally folded up beneath her clothing as opposed to being out on display.

18) Did they change or grow in any way physically since coming to Luceti?: lolno forever flat

19) What do they miss the most from home?: There's one thing Fuuko badly misses and that is her sister, Kouko.

20) What does their handwriting look like? Do they write the way they talk, or is there a clear difference between the two?: Even Fuuko's writing is third person, though school work tends to be written correctly. Her writing style is simple and neat, like what you would expect from someone who took a handwriting class.

21) Is the way they act in person different from the way they act over the journal system?: She's as rude and eccentric over the journals as she is in person.

22) Did they gain/lose any personal goals during their stay in Luceti?: STARFISH FESTIVAL. \o/ Now her goal is to see if she can get Nagisa and Kotomi to remember her from back home.

23) Is Luceti a technological upgrade, or downgrade for them? Have they adapted to these changes well?: Downgrade, but seeing as Fuuko didn't have a mobile, an mp3 or anything like that she's done well with the change.

24) FOR STUDENTS: What is their favorite class? What is their least favorite class? What about their general behavior in school?: EVERYTHING IS HER FAVOURITE. School is like the best thing ever and she always puts in all of her time into completing work and doing the best she can.

25) FOR DRINKERS: What is their favorite drink? What is their least favorite drink? Do they prefer Good Spirits or Cloud Nine? What's their attitude about and while drinking?: Fuuko is always drunk. Always. She visits Good Spirits now and then. Zack can make a real mean milkshake y'know.

26) Do they have any special talents? If so, what are they?: The Starfish Heat! Just by hiding a few starfish around she can instantly distract everyone in the area. Or so she thinks anyway. Also Fuuko has a knack for screwing up tongue twisters, no matter how easy they might be.

27) Have they learned any new skills or abilities in Luceti? If so, what are they? Why and how? Fuuko got a little survival training for a draft in the past and if need be she can use smoke bombs too. She learnt some basic First Aid from Yui. Magic is something she's looking into.

28) What kind of habits do they have on drafts? Are they willing to kill or do they prefer to avoid fighting? Hide, stay safe but try hard to take part and make sure everyone is happy within the safety of the main camp. Hand out food, first aid, so on.

29) What kind of habits do they have on missions? What is their reason for going on them? What do they intend to use their points for? Fuuko has yet to go on any mission.

30) How long have they been in Luceti? Has that length of time impacted them in any way?: Come May she will have been here 9 months. Since coming here Fuuko has slowly adapted to magic and non-human things walking around. After the first month or so of being here she realised Luceti is a much better place for her right now than back home.

31) How do they unwind and get back to normal after a brutal experiment, event, or draft? Taking care of a pet is great stress relief, so looking after her starfish comes first. Fuuko will then either stay home until things are properly back to normal or try talking to her friends, see how they got on and such.

32) What is their worst experience from an experiment or kidnapping? Were there any that they actually liked? The Horoscope experiment had her feel as though she were practically dead, that wasn't fun. Fuuko has yet to be kidnapped.

33) Anything else you want to note?: Cool things are cool, let's do all sorts of cool things!

1) Height: 4'11"

2) Weight: 95lbs-ish?

3) Eye color/Hair Color: Blue-grey/Black

4) Age: secretly 700 years old 12

5) Physical features: Rather average looking, actually.

6) Voice: I can't find VAs to save my life, sooo...

7) Who do they live with and how are chores divided in their house/apartment?: Yun live alone! She does all her own chores. c:

8) Their favorite (and least favorite, if you want) foods and who does the cooking in their house/apartment?:

Favorite: mostly anything in a steamed bun (especially red bean paste)
Least Favorite: pickled anything

She does her own cooking, but she still has a lot to learn, so everything she makes tends to be very simple...

9) What they do during an average day in Luceti:
- Wake up! Breakfast, occasionally sit outside to share/chat with the birds. She wakes up around 6am most of the time.
- School (most of the time). Lunch? Does the school have a lunch break? Then more school?
- Maybe stay after school to play games with Florian (and other students?).
- Errands/library/aimless wandering/tree-climbing/visiting people.
- Home! Make dinner. Read, homeworrrk weh (homework is such a sill concept though, does she have to?), maybe more wandering in the evening.

+ All this is bunk on the days she decides to spend a week off in the forest! (Though she hasn't done that just yet)

10) Their general sense of fashion: Green, blue, earthy toned clothing! Her preference still leans towards dresses and skirts, but she's thinking about updating to something more modern after her trip to Japan. Jeans seem much more versatile!

11) Do they have any hobbies? Did they come up with these hobbies in Luceti, or was it something they always did?: Reading, doodling in her journal, meddling in the affairs of time and spac-- er, not really. She never needed a hobby before to keep busy!

12) Has the situation in Luceti changed their view on certain topics/the way they react to different things?: Nope!

14) Who are their neighbors?: Rise and Naoto!

16) Their favorite areas/stores/hang-out locations?: The forest!

17) Wing color and how do they deal with their wings?: White and green. She likes them! And likely leaves them out, clothes allowing.

18) Did they change or grow in any way physically since coming to Luceti?: Not yet, but she'll be 13 soonish if I ever decide on a birthday.

19) What do they miss the most from home?: Yuiri, Yumi, and Chris.

20) What does their handwriting look like? Do they write the way they talk, or is there a clear difference between the two?: Her handwriting is very neat and legible, but plain print, not cursive or anything fancy. She usually writes the way she would talk. She picked up drawing emoticons from Rise and does that on occasion!

21) Is the way they act in person different from the way they act over the journal system?: Pretty much the same through and through.

22) Did they gain/lose any personal goals during their stay in Luceti?: Not really.

23) Is Luceti a technological upgrade, or downgrade for them? Have they adapted to these changes well?: Upgrade! Yun is wary of the microwave.

24) FOR STUDENTS: What is their favorite class? What is their least favorite class? What about their general behavior in school?:

Favorite: Worldsharing!
Least Favorite: Math.

Yun's a well-behaved and inquisitive student, but has a tendency to blow off homework.

25) FOR DRINKERS: What is their favorite drink? What is their least favorite drink? Do they prefer Good Spirits or Cloud Nine? What's their attitude about and while drinking?: TEA IS A DRINK, I CAN ANSWER THIS IF I WANT TO. :|X Tea is pretty great, jsyk.

26) Do they have any special talents? If so, what are they?: Yun is a "possessed child", basically a seer as well as a shaman to her clan. She can be found talking to animals, plants, and has a strong affinity towards spirits.

27) Have they learned any new skills or abilities in Luceti? If so, what are they? Why and how? Not yet. Working on it~.

28) What kind of habits do they have on drafts? Are they willing to kill or do they prefer to avoid fighting? Yun hasn't been on any. She would avoid fighting on account of being 12.

29) What kind of habits do they have on missions? What is their reason for going on them? What do they intend to use their points for? Yun hasn't gone on any missions yet.

30) How long have they been in Luceti? Has that length of time impacted them in any way?: Only several months! She's settling in alright.

Leonhardt - Also, spoiler warning

[personal profile] eyesofstrength 2012-04-25 04:56 pm (UTC)(link)
1) Height: About 6'3" is our best estimate.

2) Weight: Average for his height, he's definitely well built and toned, not overly muscular in appearance, if anything he is a bit lanky in appearance.

3) Eye color/Hair Color: Violet eyes/Silver hair. And that is the color he's had his whole life, he's not going gray or anything.

4) Age: 27, and he is stated to look like he's in his late 20s.

5) Physical features: Nothing that I can think of.

6) Voice: Unfortunately, we only get voices in battle, so the best sample is this unless I go try and find a drama CD track. His VA is Hikaru Midorikawa, and a list of his other roles can be found here if you want a better idea.

7) Who do they live with and how are chores divided in their house/apartment?: Mostly eventually. He handles everything with his cat Cecilia, since she's his and he and Estelle get a bigger amount of chores than Joshua since Joshua has to handle all the cooking.

8) Their favorite (and least favorite, if you want) foods and who does the cooking in their house/apartment?: Joshua does all the cooking because Estelle tends to burn things and set curtains on fire and Leonhardt is no longer capable of cooking thanks to death penalty. He doesn't have any specific favorite foods, but tends to prefer seafoods like Joshua, tea and doesn't like sweets much.

9) What they do during an average day in Luceti: On an average day he spends a good potion of the day purusing the journals, training in the battle dome and other random things. He makes good use of his shadows outside of combat to be able to do multiple things at once and keep up his skill with that and is always at home because of that even if he's elsewhere. Yeah, he's a sneaky git.

10) Their general sense of fashion: If he is ever seen outside his canon getup, it will always be dark colors, blacks, dark purples and blues, stuff like that. He prefers to keep himself far more covered than Joshua does and nearly always wears long sleeves.

11) Do they have any hobbies? Did they come up with these hobbies in Luceti, or was it something they always did?: Other than trying to find a way home he's also learning about orbal power from his world. It wasn't a hobby he had at home, but he did have some knowledge and has more time to pursue here.

12) Has the situation in Luceti changed their view on certain topics/the way they react to different things?: Not really, if anything it adds to his pessimism.

13) Do they have a weapon? If so, do they carry it at all times or just under certain circumstances?: Yes he does, but it's not openly visible at all times since it is a sword that can be summoned. But he'll have it out more often in the Battle Dome. It is rather unique and is pictured in this image.

14) Who are their neighbors?: Draco, Hisoka and Tsuzuki in house 25 and the Clannad cast in house 26.

15) Who are their best friends in Luceti? How often do they spend time with them and doing what? He really doesn't have anyone he considers a friend though his closest CR is with housemates and also with Caesar, Yun, and Grune so far. He only really spends a lot of time with Caesar and housemates, Caesar more in training and his housemates in random stuff and he also trains with Joshua as well.

16) Their favorite areas/stores/hang-out locations?: Battle dome. He seriously spends nearly the whole day there.

17) Wing color and how do they deal with their wings?: His wings are silver with violet tips like his hair and eyes and amusingly also are compliments in color to Joshua's own wings. Of course even though Leonhardt has no issues with his eye and hair color, he hates them on wings and covers those up. In fact there's maybe a whole 3 people in all of Luceti who have seen his wings.

18) Did they change or grow in any way physically since coming to Luceti?: Nope, no changes physically.

19) What do they miss the most from home?: His adopted little sister, Renne. Her attempts to try and make him smile and wrap him around her little finger definitely were liked even if he would grumble a lot.

20) What does their handwriting look like? Do they write the way they talk, or is there a clear difference between the two?: His handwriting does depend on if he's showing himself in the camera or not. When he is attaching his name and face to it, it has a very distinctive and neat appearance. He writes like he talks, but will tl;dr even more then. When not attaching his name to it, he disguises it to look less distinct, usually he prints rather than writing in cursive as a big part of disguising it.

21) Is the way they act in person different from the way they act over the journal system?: Not really, though he has grown to be more likely to approach someone over the journals.

22) Did they gain/lose any personal goals during their stay in Luceti?: Well, considering his canon point, going to say N/A to this. Or one could say he only gained them, but his major goal is oddly enough to go home.

23) Is Luceti a technological upgrade, or downgrade for them? Have they adapted to these changes well?: A bit of both in some ways. There are some things in his world that Luceti lacks and some things Luceti has that his world lacks.

24) FOR STUDENTS: What is their favorite class? What is their least favorite class? What about their general behavior in school?: N/A

25) FOR DRINKERS: What is their favorite drink? What is their least favorite drink? Do they prefer Good Spirits or Cloud Nine? What's their attitude about and while drinking?: No really, he's not a drinker and avoids those places like the plague ever since November's experiment. He won't even go for their food now. Seriously, no one wants to see Leonhardt drunk, he becomes a depressed klutz.

26) Do they have any special talents? If so, what are they?: Plenty, but one of his most unique talents is his ability to make shadows of himself. That is just too dang handy and helps him a lot with info gathering along with in combat. Anyone who was in the last draft likely saw this ability.

27) Have they learned any new skills or abilities in Luceti? If so, what are they? Why and how? Filial magic mostly, though he's slowly learning more about magic in his world and being able to construct the orbments and do more major repairs for them. Mostly he is lacking in tools and resources to get enough practice.

28) What kind of habits do they have on drafts? Are they willing to kill or do they prefer to avoid fighting? He's quite willing to kill and he's very effective at it. The way he acts definitely hints that his training definitely exceeds that of a normal soldier. Next draft may show a change depending on the location since canon update did gain him an ability that may be able to get to work in Luceti. If so, he'll be able to use a giant black mechanical dragon in battle as well. That should be quite the sight (and I'd provide a pic, but well, all the scenes it shows up in are spoilers). He also can pilot an airship so if needed he may do that as well in a later draft.

29) What kind of habits do they have on missions? What is their reason for going on them? What do they intend to use their points for? He's only really been on one unique mission and that was more because he felt it better for him to go on something that dangerous than someone less qualified. That and to prove to Joshua that he was fine and not going to be an idiot any longer. Yes, he went on that mission less than a week after returning from the dead. As far as what he plans to use his points on, he's saving them for the time being to get some stuff.

30) How long have they been in Luceti? Has that length of time impacted them in any way?: Nearly 8 months now, nearly 2 months since canon update. Basically at the point of his canon update he pretty much had hit a low and is trying to improve now. One change for the better is that he's not as suicidal, though he still cares very little about if he lives or dies. In Luceti he's adjusting to being alive again far worse than he did in canon.

31) How do they unwind and get back to normal after a brutal experiment, event, or draft? Bottle everything up. Seriously, that's how he deals with anything.

32) What is their worst experience from an experiment or kidnapping? Were there any that they actually liked? It would be debatable if being stuck as a princess was worse or being stuck as a drunk was worse. Both are pretty bad and he and Joshua do not speak of the drunk one, so likely that.

33) Anything else you want to note?: Nothing else that I can think of really!

Joshua Bright

[personal profile] eyesofremorse 2012-04-25 06:50 pm (UTC)(link)
1) Height: 170cm (about 5' 5.8")

2) Weight: Not officially stated, but it's usually around 63kg/139lbs. It's been somewhat lower than that in the last two month, but it's getting close to that number again.

3) Eye color/Hair Color: Hair color is black, eye color is amber. Notably, under certain conditions (generally if certain subjects come up, or someone he cares about is threatened), his eyes look a bit... dull, which is noted in canon to make them look a little creepy.

4) Age: 17. He'll turn 18 on December 20th, and his birthday was publicly announced by Leonhardt here.

5) Physical features: He looks rather feminine, enough that he can convincingly look like a girl with a wig (and at least one NPC mistakes him for a girl even without any sort of costume). Less obviously, he has a odd-looking mark on his left shoulder, but he goes out of his way to cover it up most of the time.

6) Voice: His voice actress is Mitsuki Saiga. A few samples of how he sounds can be found here and here. And for how he sounds when he's in disguise, since that's relevant for the upcoming event... there's this.

7) Who do they live with and how are chores divided in their house/apartment?: He lives with Estelle ([personal profile] estelle_bright) and Leonhardt ([personal profile] eyesofstrength) in House 24. Everyone in the house does chores, though since he's the one who cooks nearly all the time, he usually focuses more on that while the others focus more on other chores (for example, Leonhardt handles cat-related chores, since Cecilia is his cat).

8) Their favorite (and least favorite, if you want) foods and who does the cooking in their house/apartment?: Joshua doesn't have a specific favorite, though he's kind of fond of seafood paella. As for who does the cooking in the household... well, he's the only one who can consistently cook well these days, so that's his job.

9) What they do during an average day in Luceti: Joshua wanders around a lot! He doesn't stray very far from the village, though, so he can usually be found within the village or in the forest around it. In the afternoon or evening, he generally stops by the battle dome to train for a while (and if anyone's seen him there, his favored method of training is fighting simulations of these things). He can be found at the library occasionally, too, though he usually prefers to check out books and read them at home rather than read there.

10) Their general sense of fashion: His wardrobe is largely blue, green, black or white, and his taste in fashion leans toward short-sleeved or sleeveless shirts (moreso the former than the latter nowadays), and either something with a high collar, a scarf, or both. He also wears vests and jackets pretty often. In terms of what he wears the most, though... now that it's getting warmer again, he'll be sticking to this again most of the time.

11) Do they have any hobbies? Did they come up with these hobbies in Luceti, or was it something they always did?: Reading and music (particularly playing the harmonica), both of which are hobbies he's always had. He also has an interest in weapons, though he hasn't acted on that much in Luceti.

12) Has the situation in Luceti changed their view on certain topics/the way they react to different things?: Yup. He thinks pretty differently of certain people from his world than he did when he first arrived, and his view of himself has changed a fair bit as well (...largely for the worse, admittedly).

13) Do they have a weapon? If so, do they carry it at all times or just under certain circumstances?: Yes - twin blades, which he carries with him just about all the time when outdoors (though they're usually sheathed). He also has his orbment (one of these, though his has a different pattern), which allows him to use magic, so I guess that counts a weapon too.

14) Who are their neighbors?: Arumat, Draco, Hisoka and Tsuzuki in House 25, Nagisa, Fuuko, Kotomi and Tomoyo in House 26.

15) Who are their best friends in Luceti? How often do they spend time with them and doing what? That'd be... Estelle and Leonhardt. :|; And given that he lives with those two, that means he spends a fair amount of time with them.

16) Their favorite areas/stores/hang-out locations?: The library and the battle dome, mainly. He's also a bit partial to the mountains and the plains near them for personal reasons, but those are areas he visits much less frequently.

17) Wing color and how do they deal with their wings?: Black with amber tips, matching his hair- and eye color. He usually keeps them tucked under his clothes, since while they don't bother him much nowadays, they are still a weakness and all.

18) Did they change or grow in any way physically since coming to Luceti?: The mark on his arm is new. His weight's fluctuated a bit throughout his stay in Luceti so far, but since it usually hovers around the same number, I'm not sure if that counts. His hair's also a little bit longer, though he usually tries to keep it around the same length, so it's not very noticeable.

19) What do they miss the most from home?: He misses his friends and his (adopted) father a bit, but with the two people he cares about the most here in Luceti, it's not that much of an issue for him.

20) What does their handwriting look like? Do they write the way they talk, or is there a clear difference between the two?: His handwriting is neat and easily legible. He writes pretty much how he talks.

21) Is the way they act in person different from the way they act over the journal system?: Not really! He acts about the same both over the journals and in person.

22) Did they gain/lose any personal goals during their stay in Luceti?: Yes. His main personal goal shifted a little... to one he can't accomplish in Luceti. :| His other new personal goal would be finding out more about Luceti and trying to find a way home, though nowadays he's far more focused on the former than the latter.

23) Is Luceti a technological upgrade, or downgrade for them? Have they adapted to these changes well?: It's both, in a way. It's an upgrade in the sense that his world's normal technology is a lot less advanced than Luceti's, but it's also a downgrade because the orbal technology that exists in his world is a fair bit more advanced than most of what's available in Luceti. All in all, he's adjusted pretty well.

24) FOR STUDENTS: What is their favorite class? What is their least favorite class? What about their general behavior in school?: N/A.

25) FOR DRINKERS: What is their favorite drink? What is their least favorite drink? Do they prefer Good Spirits or Cloud Nine? What's their attitude about and while drinking?: ...He doesn't drink and frowns upon underage drinking. :| So this is pretty much N/A again.

26) Do they have any special talents? If so, what are they?: He's unusually adept at combat for someone his age, but what really stands out is how fast he is. He's also kind of good at making medicine, if that counts. ...And he's pretty good at playing the harmonica, I guess.

27) Have they learned any new skills or abilities in Luceti? If so, what are they? Why and how? He learned a few new crafts while training in Luceti, though the only really notable one here would be the Body-Split Craft he learned from Leonhardt. He's... still not that great at using it. Aside from that, he's also learned how to use most kinds of Filial magic (Hyt being the only one he hasn't managed to contact so far), which probably counts as well.

28) What kind of habits do they have on drafts? Are they willing to kill or do they prefer to avoid fighting? ...oh man, uh. He's been on one draft so far, and on that one, he mainly stuck to striking from the shadows to incapacitate his targets in order to tag them and thus deal with them the non-lethal way... until the final day, where he pretty much switched to indiscriminately killing them instead after getting caught in a cave-in. In future drafts, he's more likely to consistently stick to incapacitating Third Party soldiers, unless doing so would put someone else at more of a risk than killing his targets would, and he'll probably rely more on his speed than his stealth.

29) What kind of habits do they have on missions? What is their reason for going on them? What do they intend to use their points for? On missions, he generally values safety above all else - he'll try to deal with things quickly and efficiently, so that nobody else is put at risk. Since he's more partial to missions that require combat prowess... yeah. His reasons for accepting missions vary between wanting to find out more about the Malnosso and the areas outside the barrier (normal missions, mainly) and simply wanting to handle more dangerous tasks so that others won't have to put themselves at risk (unique missions). As for the points... stuff from his world, mainly. That's all I'll say in regards to that.

30) How long have they been in Luceti? Has that length of time impacted them in any way?: Nearly eight months, now. The amount of time he's spent in Luceti hasn't really affected him much - about the only effect it's had on him is that he acknowledges that it could take a long time until he returns to his world, considering how long he's already been here and how long some other residents have remained in Luceti. Not that he wants to nowadays, but hey.

31) How do they unwind and get back to normal after a brutal experiment, event, or draft? By spending more time in the battle dome or going on missions to distract himself, usually. Also, being clingier than usual around his family for a while.

32) What is their worst experience from an experiment or kidnapping? Were there any that they actually liked? For the worst experiment... there's two that fit that. In terms of trauma, that's easily the Halloween event in 2011, with the whole "moon seemingly going to crash into the village and nothing's stopping it" thing, simply because that hit a little too close to home for a while. In terms of embarrassment, however, that'd be the horoscope event in December of the same year. It's kinda hard to beat ending up stuck in a maid dress for a week, losing your ability to cook anything, then running into your brother who managed to get himself way too drunk and proceeds to flirt with you because he thinks you look like your sister. :| Experiments he liked... he kind of enjoyed the Valentine's event, even if he's not sure what to make of something that happened during it.

33) Anything else you want to note?: I don't think so? I can't think of anything right now, at least. Scratch that. Ahem...

-Joshua has frequent nightmares - usually the same two recurring repeatedly. As a result, he often gets less sleep than he should, so he tends to be up very early. Similarly, it takes him a while to fall asleep, too. He gets by okay with relatively little sleep, though... most of the time, anyway.
-He has some issues with being touched without warning. At best, he'll freeze up or move away; at worst, he'll outright swat the offender away and possibly even glare, but that pretty much requires touching him when he's paying no attention to his surroundings at all.
-He's rather protective of his family. Messing with them is... not advised, to say the least.

...I think that's about it? If I still manage to think of more, I'll add that later.

1) Height: Well, Alyson Hannigan is 5'6", so there ya go!

2) Weight: ...I'm so bad at guessing weight orz. Let's say 115-120 lbs.

3) Eye color/Hair Color: Green eyes, natural redhead!

4) Age: Around 21

5) Physical features: Meh, her icons have more or less got it covered. HOWEVER since her icons are from all over the place series-wise, her current hairstyle is the one currently showing!

6) Voice: She's featured in this video! (Possible spoiler alert, but honestly guys, it’s been ten years)

7) Who do they live with and how are chores divided in their house/apartment?: Buffy, Jilly, Elizabeth Swann, and Hollom. She’d keep her own room clean, and help wherever else she was needed.

8) Their favorite (and least favorite, if you want) foods and who does the cooking in their house/apartment?: This is all headcanon stuff ahhhh. Well, she has no confidence in any of her skills, and this extends to her cooking ability.

9) What they do during an average day in Luceti: Until recently she’s mostly been sticking to her house/journals while she adjusts. These days, one could find her in the library reading up on other worlds, or just wandering and exploring. Soon she might check out those filial spirit thingies.

10) Their general sense of fashion: …She pretty much wears her “usual canon get-ups.” Which nowadays, means more earth-tones and nothing too crazy (or pink and fuzzy).

11) Do they have any hobbies? Did they come up with these hobbies in Luceti, or was it something they always did?: Do magic and hacking count? She’s still doing both in Luceti. Hacking over the journals, that is, mostly out of boredom, and a tiny bit of magic here and there as needed.

12) Has the situation in Luceti changed their view on certain topics/the way they react to different things?: Not really. She’s only been here a little over a month.

13) Do they have a weapon? If so, do they carry it at all times or just under certain circumstances?: No weapons needed!! With a vampire on the prowl she’ll carry a cross, etc. with her if she has to go out after dark but other than that, nope.

14) Who are their neighbors?: Whoever lives in Houses 6, 8, 9, 13 and 14. xD

15) Who are their best friends in Luceti? How often do they spend time with them and doing what? Buffy, duh. Though she’s still getting to know many others, she’s also on friendly terms with Jack Sparrow and Harry Dresden by this point. So far, saving Dresden from himself Drusilla, and planning to bake Jack brownies sometime. She and Buffy … do Scooby things. Talk about vampires, love lives, weird goings-on, etc.

16) Their favorite areas/stores/hang-out locations?: The library!

17) Wing color and how do they deal with their wings?: A nice dark green color. For now, she’s not covering them.

18) Did they change or grow in any way physically since coming to Luceti?: Nope!

19) What do they miss the most from home?: The Scoobies. That Sunnydale chaos which, for her, has become the norm. Tara.

20) What does their handwriting look like? Do they write the way they talk, or is there a clear difference between the two?: Her handwriting is neat, and a little girly to boot. Being an academic sort, her writing’s maybe a little more formal than she speaks, depending on the topic and who she’s actually addressing.

21) Is the way they act in person different from the way they act over the journal system?: Not really. She has the capacity to be equally awkward both in person and over the journals! :D

22) Did they gain/lose any personal goals during their stay in Luceti?: Well, she can’t save the world anymore, but people say time has stopped back home, so…nope.

23) Is Luceti a technological upgrade, or downgrade for them? Have they adapted to these changes well?: Pretty much a downgrade. It was a little shocking to begin with, but she’s finally getting used to things as they are. (Although the more magical side of things is interesting to her, even if it's not an "upgrade" per se.)

24) FOR STUDENTS: What is their favorite class? What is their least favorite class? What about their general behavior in school?: N/A

25) FOR DRINKERS: What is their favorite drink? What is their least favorite drink? Do they prefer Good Spirits or Cloud Nine? What's their attitude about and while drinking?: Favorite place is Good Spirits, where Buffy works!

26) Do they have any special talents? If so, what are they?: Witchcraft! Computer hacking! Emotional support!

27) Have they learned any new skills or abilities in Luceti? If so, what are they? Why and how? Nope! Not yet, anyway.

28) What kind of habits do they have on drafts? Are they willing to kill or do they prefer to avoid fighting? N/A

29) What kind of habits do they have on missions? What is their reason for going on them? What do they intend to use their points for? N/A

30) How long have they been in Luceti? Has that length of time impacted them in any way?: About six weeks, now. She’s getting used to it, but hardly wants to stay here. If she wasn’t so sure that it is impossible to leave (considering her best friend who is normally so resourceful has been stuck here for three years), she’d be all over an escape plan.

31) How do they unwind and get back to normal after a brutal experiment, event, or draft? Well, after her first experiment, she did end up at the bar, mostly because Buffy was there, and they talked. One cocktail was imbibed.

32) What is their worst experience from an experiment or kidnapping? Were there any that they actually liked? For now she just has the AU event under her belt! Buffy thought she was a pirate captain, and forgot about Willow and gave her the brush-off. Sad feelings were had by all!

33) Anything else you want to note?: I'm really bad at headcanon, let’s do something cool!

Silver

[personal profile] tsuntrader 2012-04-26 05:31 pm (UTC)(link)
1) Height:
About 5"5" and growing quickly.

2) Weight:
About 115lbs. He's tiny. Really tiny. It's not terribly obvious since he wears baggy clothes all the time, especially his jacket (which he wears in the summer because Pokémon,) but underneath that baggy nonsense, he definitely looks like he needs to be fed a cake or four.

3) Eye color/Hair Color:
Red hair and eyes that shine like silver.

4) Age:
Fourteen.

5) Physical features:
His "wow what the hell did a red crayon puke on your head" red hair and his odd colored/looking eyes, but other than that, he constantly looks both tired and alert. Think vigilant and aware with the lovely addition of dark circles under his eyes.

6) Voice:
He... Has a voice. A boy voice. It's pretty much permanently monotone. He generally tries to condense what he has to say into as few words as possible and a few of his words get a little slurred together in the process, but it's nothing particularly unusual.

7) Who do they live with and how are chores divided in their house/apartment?:
Silver... Cleans up after himself, but... House 11 has ten people and eighteen Pokémon (Red, Green, Yellow, Gold, Crystal, Frey, Kaori, Selphie, and Lym.) Nothing stays clean for long. Sometimes when he remembers and feels like it he'll help around the house or bring home groceries, but he's generally too preoccupied and forgetful to so much as consider it. Besides, that's what they have Frey for. He's the housewife.

8) Their favorite (and least favorite, if you want) foods and who does the cooking in their house/apartment?:
Ice cream. Ice cream ice cream ice cream. And eggs. He's also really fond of fruit and sweet and spicy foods, but he doesn't care for dry foods at all. That all said, he'll eat anything. Morning breakfast and occasionally cookies are made by Frey and Silver tries to help him on occasion. Other than that, Silver tends to grab the first and easiest thing to get and eat or makes some quick eggs because eggs.

9) What they do during an average day in Luceti:
Wake up at stupid early in the morning, hit the battle dome for training for the rest of the morning and some of the afternoon, and from there, the biggest two things are wandering through the woods or doing things with Gold. He only really stops at the house to grab food or sleep. A newer addition to things he does in the afternoon is heading back to the battle dome in the afternoon to help Masaomi train Linda.

10) Their general sense of fashion:
...His canon outfit. He has a bunch of the same jacket, pants, and gloves and constantly wears the same thing, be it summer or winter. He's also ridiculously stubborn and resistant to changing his outfit, even if only for some minor difference. That's not to say that he has no fashion sense at all; Blue's given him a fairly decent fashion sense (one that might not be entirely manly because he learned from his sister but that's okay,) but he has absolutely no desire to change his look or put much effort into his appearance period. ...He can help you pick out cute outfits, though.

Two things of note on his outfit are the fact that he almost always wears his gloves and he now constantly has a pair of goggles around his neck.

11) Do they have any hobbies? Did they come up with these hobbies in Luceti, or was it something they always did?:
What's a hobby? The closest thing he has to a hobby would be "things that Gold drags him into," but other than that, not really... Unless coming up with ridiculously detailed and crazy simulations in the battle dome for training counts.

12) Has the situation in Luceti changed their view on certain topics/the way they react to different things?:
Luceti's been a double-edged sword for Silver. On one hand, he's making baby steps towards being okay with and even willing to do that making friends things and trusting more than Gold, Crys, Blue, and dex holders. ...Very tiny baby steps. He still almost entirely keeps to himself.

On the other hand, he's feels very trapped in Luceti. More importantly, there's the constant worry of being kidnapped in Luceti. Kidnapping in general already really bothered him beforehand, but being in Luceti is just making it more and more of a touchy issue/subject. It's not doing many wonders for his state of being, either; it's leaving him more and more jumpy and tense as time goes on.

On a final note, while initially upon coming to Luceti he couldn't come to terms with why anyone would want to stay in Luceti, he's become more open to the fact that other people have reasons to want to stay. He still very much doesn't, but at least he's more open about it.

13) Do they have a weapon? If so, do they carry it at all times or just under certain circumstances?:
He has his Pokémon, which give him plenty of water/ice/b...ird power and then some. And that's all he ever really needs.

...But he also has a very basic knife which he's not fond of carrying around and even less fond of using that he takes out when Moro gives him her hunting and forest stuff lessons- something that Silver agreed to because it seemed like a good opportunity to hone skills that he can apply to working with his Pokémon and become more comfortable with killing since that's something he might need to do in a draft. Besides, it was an offer from a wolf god. Who says no to a wolf god? It still leaves him uncomfortable, though.

14) Who are their neighbors?:
Hiccup and co., The World Ends With Haruhi, and community building 1.

15) Who are their best friends in Luceti? How often do they spend time with them and doing what?
His best friend is Gold. The two of them spend a ridiculously large amount of time together and do all sort of stupid Gold and Silver things; if Gold wants to do it, Silver's willing to do it with him. His other best friend is Crys; he doesn't do as many things with her because he's too busy either training or doing stupid things with Gold. Besides that, there's Senior Yellow, who he sees as a friend and occasionally does things with (like drawing a bunch of hats,) and Senior Red and Senior Green, although the two of them are less of his friends and more of his Seniors (although before Red left, he was entering comfortable friendship territory with him, but that's a pretty moot point now that he doesn't remember it.)

Outside of canon territory, he's still very slow on the considering people friends thing. His closest Luceti friend would be Hiccup- Hiccup is one of the maybe three people he actually considers in the friend group- and he probably spends at least some time with him when he's not busy being preoccupied by training and being a complete social recluse outside of Gold things (some of this time being training with his junior.) Shiemi and Masaomi fall under the you are my juniors therefore I care about you category and he definitely spends time with Masaomi helping him train, but there's still a giant "what are friends, how I friendship" here. Finally, there are housemates, particularly Frey and Kaori; Frey he has breakfast with and tries to help him in the kitchen sometimes once in a while or maybe a blue moon (and he also heads to the battle dome with him in the morning,) and Kaori he tries to talk to and enjoy her company and could probably be coerced into helping her with her garden things.

16) Their favorite areas/stores/hang-out locations?:
Battle Dome Battle Dome Battle dome. And the forest. He really likes the forest. It's peaceful.

17) Wing color and how do they deal with their wings?:
His wings look silvery (and therefore are multiple shades of grey) and he has holes in his shirt for them to stick out of, but they still stay under his jacket, which is big enough for this to not be a problem at all.

18) Did they change or grow in any way physically since coming to Luceti?:
Oh yes. He's definitely entered a more healthy weight due to eating more and better (even if he's still on the thinner side,) and has already grown significantly taller, even if he's still on the shorter side. But hey, he's still fourteen. He has a lot of growing to do. Other than that, he looks the same.

19) What do they miss the most from home?:
Everything. His life has obsessively revolved around nothing but Pokémon (be it training, trading, reading, or whatever; mostly the first two,) since he was a toddler and to be thrown out of that is completely jarring and makes him feel rather incapable of anything and pretty useless. He also misses traveling, being able to disappear into the crowd, the general culture and resources in Johto... Things he never really thought he would miss as much as he does.

What he misses the most, however, would definitely have to be his Pokémon. His entire team is really important to him- more than he's willing to admit out loud- and being away from them is heart wrenching and leaves him becoming even closer with the half of his team he has with him. The next would be Blue, although he doesn't miss her terribly since he's used to being without her for long periods of time, but he definitely misses regularly talking to her over his Pokégear and he'll gradually miss her more and more over time.

20) What does their handwriting look like? Do they write the way they talk, or is there a clear difference between the two?:
His handwriting is small and condensed, similarly to how he talks. It's simple and legible, although it isn't the nicest handwriting in the world. He's more inclined to write more than he would say, though.

21) Is the way they act in person different from the way they act over the journal system?:
He's marginally more talkative since his body language is kind of lost over the journals, but other than that, nothing.

22) Did they gain/lose any personal goals during their stay in Luceti?:
Silver was about to go on some crazy multi-regional wild goose chase looking for his dad who disappeared on him, but it's kind of hard to do that in Luceti. It's something he really tries not to think about. Other than that, he has the lingering goal of trying to find a way out of Luceti, but he's being rather passive about it.

23) Is Luceti a technological upgrade, or downgrade for them? Have they adapted to these changes well?:
It's a downgrade. It's such a downgrade. Not a giant downgrade, but it lacks a lot of crazy poketechnology. It's nothing that really affects him day to day, though.

24) FOR STUDENTS: What is their favorite class? What is their least favorite class? What about their general behavior in school?:

25) FOR DRINKERS: What is their favorite drink? What is their least favorite drink? Do they prefer Good Spirits or Cloud Nine? What's their attitude about and while drinking?:

26) Do they have any special talents? If so, what are they?:
Outside of the above average strength/speed/reflexes/etc that trainers generally have, he's also really good at stubbornly plowing through fatigue and pain. He also has something I fondly refer to as "ninja bullshit"- he's fast with really nice reflexes and can be super stealthy/spring himself off of his hands/jump up entire staircases/treat trees like a playground/disappear in a moment/etc. He also has some amazing reading comprehension and has some brilliant foresight and observation skills, provided that he's paying attention. It's more of a battling thing than a people thing, but being around Blue and understanding her facade from a young age makes it easier for him to pinpoint similar facades or at least notice that something is off.

A skill that will probably never come up in Luceti is that he's also a really good thief. Sneasel's an excellent partner in crime in this respect. How he manages to be stealthy and a thief and stuff with bright red hair is something I'll never understand.

27) Have they learned any new skills or abilities in Luceti? If so, what are they? Why and how?
Outside of the aforementioned thing with Moro, he's only really learned about setting up simulations in the battle dome.

28) What kind of habits do they have on drafts? Are they willing to kill or do they prefer to avoid fighting?
He generally tries to incapacitate enemies instead of outright killing them, but being on a draft made him more comfortable with killing in general

29) What kind of habits do they have on missions? What is their reason for going on them? What do they intend to use their points for?
N/A. He hasn't been on a mission and never will be if he can help it.

30) How long have they been in Luceti? Has that length of time impacted them in any way?:
Silver's been in Luceti for nearly nine months now. It's definitely starting to affect him- in all that stuff I said in 12, and in the fact that he's starting to have more friends and actually lives somewhere now. The last one in particular is a big deal. He really wanted to live in a warm and happy house with a bunch of Pokémon and family and such, and that's essentially what house 11 is. He has yet to realize this, however, and stubbornly sticks to the mentality that there's nothing he's attached to or would miss all that much in Luceti. Even if he accepted the nicer things in Luceti, he'd still want to go home, though.

31) How do they unwind and get back to normal after a brutal experiment, event, or draft?
He... Doesn't really need to. He can mostly roll with experiments. The draft he was on in particular really eased a lot of tension and restlessness he had beforehand and after passing out for half a day it left him energized.

32) What is their worst experience from an experiment or kidnapping? Were there any that they actually liked?
The fact that he was kidnapped period was horrible and awful and he hopes it never happens again. It really, really, really got to him. The effect of being Gold for a few weeks afterward was nothing in comparison to the kidnapping itself, even if it really wasn't that bad. It's left him wound up, paranoid, and jumpy.

On the other hand, the experiments have never really left him off badly. He's been very passive and whatever about them. The love event made him feel a little bad until he talked to Shiemi and realized that they were both okay with it and content to move on with their lives. It even netted him two friends! ...Those are friends, right? What are friends again?...

Edward Elric

[personal profile] automailed 2012-04-25 07:47 pm (UTC)(link)
1) Height: Between 5'6" and 5'7". Haven't sorted it out exactly yet.

2) Weight: Tricky question. With two metal limbs, Edward is probably pretty hefty for his size. His automail is lighter than it used to be, though, and he's grown, so- going by his size and stature, maybe between 140-150 pounds. Needs more research.

3) Eye color/Hair Color: Both are a rather exotic gold, though his eyes are a darker, more honeyed colour. For reference.

4) Age: 17

5) Physical features: The aforementioned automail, assuming he's got them exposed, which is admittedly not often. It looks a little different than the image shows, but only in nitpicky details.

6) Voice: I play Edward as he is in the Japanese version, so Romi Paku is the voice I use as reference. Here's an example of Ed.

7) Who do they live with and how are chores divided in their house/apartment?: Currently living in House #30 with Hohenheim. Ed's pretty self-sufficient and his dad is still in "how does I family" mode, I think, so they probably do their own chores without Trisha around to look after them.

8) Their favorite (and least favorite, if you want) foods and who does the cooking in their house/apartment?: Meals are questionably split. Neither are great cooks, but they don't poison each other or blow up the kitchen, so. Edward loves stew, but hates spaghetti and pretty much any and all milk products.

9) What they do during an average day in Luceti: There's no such thing as an average day for Edward, since he's so all over the place. Some stuff he might be doing:
-exploring (either in the village area or beyond it)
-researching at the library
-sparring in the battle dome
-practicing alchemy and alkahestry

10) Their general sense of fashion: Edward's fashion sort of varies; more often than not, he wears his plain black shirt + pants ensemble with his red coat, but he's also been known to branch out. Recently he's been dressing more like an adult and wearing dress shirts, and he's rather taken with a particular black trenchcoat. Really he's starting to look more and more like his dad, which is hilarious. :|; Due to his automail he very rarely wears light-coloured clothing, since the oil tends to stain the material beyond repair.

11) Do they have any hobbies? Did they come up with these hobbies in Luceti, or was it something they always did?: Alchemy is pretty much his life, lol. He doesn't do much beyond that, and he gets too restless when he has to sit around in one place. He's actually been enjoying the commissions he's been getting, though; after being a dog of the military for so long it's a nice chance of pace to just serve the people, which is what an alchemist is supposed to do all along.

12) Has the situation in Luceti changed their view on certain topics/the way they react to different things?: Not a lot has changed on things or situations, but his thoughts on people has certainly taken a turn for the better. He's trying to be better friend and is even (sort of) getting along with Hohenheim these days. ...Emphasis on the "sort of". Seriously.

13) Do they have a weapon? If so, do they carry it at all times or just under certain circumstances?: Technically yes; Ed's weapons are both his arm and weapons he can pull out of the ground, and he can arm himself with those via transmutation. So he is and he isn't armed at all times, but you can't really say he carries it around with him.

14) Who are their neighbors?: The neighbouring buildings are #22, #23, 29, 32, and Community Building 3. Ed doesn't know them very well, excluding #23 residents, obviously.

15) Who are their best friends in Luceti? How often do they spend time with them and doing what? Winry, Hiccup, and Ling are the people he's closest to. Since her request back when his mother disappear, Ed has tried to spend more hang-out time with Winry, and he probably visits the Hughes house randomly during the week, even for a short visit. Hiccup is his go-to buddy for a general pick-me-up or just general hanging out, and Ling is in that Hard-to-Describe category, but he trusts all three of them a great deal, so who he visits and when really depends on his mood.

16) Their favorite areas/stores/hang-out locations?: House 23 and the library at the moment. The battle dome ranks pretty high these days too.

17) Wing color and how do they deal with their wings?: Edward's wings are red, the same colour as his red coat, with black flecks scattered throughout the feathers. He tries his best to ignore them, mostly by keeping them constrained under his coat. In warmer weather he has to let them out to breathe, but that makes him nervous since it's dangerous, so he tries to conceal them whenever he can.

18) Did they change or grow in any way physically since coming to Luceti?: He's gotten taller! A bit. Maybe a couple inches. This was mostly due to a) time spent in Luceti and b) the months that Alphonse had his human body back and was therefore no longer sapping up Ed's growth. He's also had his automail switched a couple of times, so during the winter months he has a set of red automail crafted by Winry. Now that it's warm again, though, he's switched back to the silver Briggs set.

19) What do they miss the most from home?: Freedom to move 8|;; He hates being confined and stuck in one little village all the time, which is why he spends so much time away from home. He can only explore so much of it, after all, and he's especially annoyed that he lacks that clear "save Amestris and get Al's body back" goal he'd been working towards for a long time now. Since that goal has actually been met in Amestris thanks to the Go-Home-For-21-Hours experiment, he's less restless than before, but he still gets the urge to wander now and then.

20) What does their handwriting look like? Do they write the way they talk, or is there a clear difference between the two?: Edward's handwriting is pretty clear, since he writes so much and so often; he carries a private notebook around at all times for jotting stuff down, after all. His writing is more formal than his speech patterns, mostly because he's used to writing reports for his State Alchemist assignments and assessments, as well as his own research notes. His speech is pretty informal, full of slang, and often crass, so the difference is obvious.

21) Is the way they act in person different from the way they act over the journal system?: Sort of different in the same sense that his writing is different from his speech; on the journal he acts more professionally if it's written, again like he's writing reports, but with audio he treats it more casually, like a phone call. He's slightly more awkward in person since he's not exactly a smalltalk kind of guy, and it's easier to end conversations on the journal than face-to-face.

22) Did they gain/lose any personal goals during their stay in Luceti?: To put it lightly... Edward was one night away from the Promised Day, aka the day when all of Amestris could be destroyed unless a certain transmutation is stopped. His goal to reach Central and stop it still exists, as well as his original goal to restore Al's body to normal, but since he knows that it ends well now, he has a new goal on top of that- to bring everyone from Amestris back with him, particularly Hughes. He hasn't quite sorted the "how" out yet, though.

23) Is Luceti a technological upgrade, or downgrade for them? Have they adapted to these changes well?: A bit of both, since the journals are better than telephones, but mostly just a sideways shift- Amestris has vehicles and trains, and Luceti lacks those, but it does have teleporters. He's been alright with it since the journals are functional and the enclosure is small enough to not mind walking across, but he prefers being in a wider land to travel.

If so, what are they?: Edward is an alchemist who has seen the Truth, which basically means that by clapping his hands together, he has the power to disassemble and reconstruct virtually anything he touches. There are certain limitations to this: he's limited by the law of Equivalent Exchange (aka to make something, you need materials of equal value) and his own morality, so he won't transmute living things.

27) Have they learned any new skills or abilities in Luceti? If so, what are they? Why and how? He's slowly learning alkahestry, which is a style of alchemy that focuses on medicinal uses. He'll never be considered a great healer, but he wants to get at least a functional understanding in order to survive serious injuries without getting himself killed. Progress is... well, slow. But he's getting there with Hohenheim's help.

28) What kind of habits do they have on drafts? Are they willing to kill or do they prefer to avoid fighting? Absolutely no killing. Edward has a very strict no-kill policy, and he gets pissed off when he sees other people kill, so he really hates drafts. He's been volunteering for missions basically because of those issues. He'll still fight, of course, but he won't deal the final blow to the human(oid) enemies.

29) What kind of habits do they have on missions? What is their reason for going on them? What do they intend to use their points for? No real habits? He's used to behaving for the military, so he's mostly polite and compliant. No escape attempts, anyway. Previously he went on the missions in order to get Al's body back, but with Al gone, he'll occasionally volunteer for one if he's bored or he wants to stockpile the points in case Al comes back.

30) How long have they been in Luceti? Has that length of time impacted them in any way?: (IE. getting used to the place, not wanting to leave, being less/more inclined to do something about their situation, so on) He still wants to go home and stay for good, but he can see the merits of staying more than he used to, and he doesn't mind it nearly as much.

31) How do they unwind and get back to normal after a brutal experiment, event, or draft? (IE. do they spend time on their own, go drink away their troubles, confide in their friends, and so on.) ...Mostly solo brooding. If it's not a particularly personal experiment or something he'll be embarrassed by, he might confide in Winry or Hiccup, but he's kept mostly to himself in regards to the experiments and drafts so far.

32) What is their worst experience from an experiment or kidnapping? Were there any that they actually liked? HE HATED BEING A GIRL 8[ Almost everyone liked him better that way... on the flipside, embarrassing as it was, he didn't mind his experiment, where he was always chill and relaxed. He genuinely had fun that week. More than anything, he loved the AU-Go-Home experiment; experiencing the Promised Day had a huge impact on him, so much that he honestly didn't care much about the alternate reality he lived out for the week afterwards. It gave him a new understanding of Haruhi, too, so that helped a bit.

33) Anything else you want to note?: ...Someday I will post the headcanon I have been compiling. Someday

1) Height: 5 feet 2 inches.

2) Weight: 125 lbs

3) Eye color/Hair Color: Light blue eyes, light blonde hair.

4) Age: 37

5) Physical features: Petite with a fairly delicate build. Tapered fingers, slim wrists, dancer's musculature.

6) Voice: English and accented, and in her native French.

7) Who do they live with and how are chores divided in their house/apartment?: Helios and Sabriel are her housemates. Adele tidies up the kitchen, handles dusting and vacuuming, and does her own laundry.

8) Their favorite (and least favorite, if you want) foods and who does the cooking in their house/apartment?: Moules à la normande is her favorite, something she rarely enjoys and hasn't had in a long while. Corn dogs are her least. She finds them revolting. In House 44 Helios does most of the cooking, but he's teaching Adele not to suck quite so bad.

9) What they do during an average day in Luceti: A walk or jog in the morning, training with Chun-li, lunch at Seventh Heaven, her shift at the clinic, and depending on the day a performance at Cloud nine. That's if Jedi's aren't falling off buildings and Thieves aren't blowing up apartments, of course.

10) Their general sense of fashion: More on the casual side as of late; the previous uniformity of her wardrobe had been altered due to intercessions by Grell, the dear, and her alternate self. Blouses, skirts, comfortable slacks, and even a pair of jeans now and then when she's not in the clinic. Above all else everything is comfortable, and easy to move in.

11) Do they have any hobbies? Did they come up with these hobbies in Luceti, or was it something they always did?: Adele keeps a private journal alongside the one connected to the network. At the end of a day or a busy week she makes notes summing up what she's experienced. Other than that she makes use of the piano Ginia earned for house 44 and has made tentative steps in the art of cookery.

12) Has the situation in Luceti changed their view on certain topics/the way they react to different things?: Adele's much less tense around large groups of people now; and no longer flinches whenever someone touches her. Lupin's helped her learn to relax, and knowing the Jedi have helped her learn, grudgingly, to accept what she can't change and move on with her life.

13) Do they have a weapon? If so, do they carry it at all times or just under certain circumstances?: A small knife in her shoe, another in her hairclip, and a few throwing knives tucked to the inside of her coat as of late.

14) Who are their neighbors?: None. Both houses on either side are empty.

15) Who are their best friends in Luceti? How often do they spend time with them and doing what? It's still strange for her to have close friends, let alone in the village. But has them she does, and several. Gambit's more like a younger brother, Lupin, Luke, Obi-Wan, Helios, Willock, and most recently Doyle. She contacts them all daily either in person or via the journals unless she feels they need space. For the most part? They converse, play cards, or share a meal.

16) Their favorite areas/stores/hang-out locations?: Cloud Nine, Good Spirits, the Playground, and the Clinic. Though the Battledome is becoming a favorite as well.

17) Wing color and how do they deal with their wings?: Her wings are a light blue with off white edging the pinions; and she's taken to covering them after a particular incident in the kitchen with Helios.

18) Did they change or grow in any way physically since coming to Luceti?: Her hair is getting longer and, for some reason she can't quite place, she's up to a healthy weight and feeling a little curvier up front. Hmmmm....

19) What do they miss the most from home?: Her one friend, Remy, and her younger brother Henri and his niece, Fleur.

20) What does their handwriting look like? Do they write the way they talk, or is there a clear difference between the two?: Adele's handwriting is precise and ordered much the same way she speaks.

21) Is the way they act in person different from the way they act over the journal system?: She speaks and behaves in much the same way.

22) Did they gain/lose any personal goals during their stay in Luceti?: The one goal she had just before her arrival remains uncertain. She's come to live with not knowing if she managed it or not.

23) Is Luceti a technological upgrade, or downgrade for them? Have they adapted to these changes well?: It's a downgrade, but she's learned to live with it.

24) FOR STUDENTS: What is their favorite class? What is their least favorite class? What about their general behavior in school?:

25) FOR DRINKERS: What is their favorite drink? What is their least favorite drink? Do they prefer Good Spirits or Cloud Nine? What's their attitude about and while drinking?: When she's feeling nostalgic? Apple Brandy or cider. For the most part Adele favors strong whiskey and crisp gin over all else. When she wants to relax she'll go to Cloud Nine, when she simply wants a drink in peace and maybe some conversation she'll go to Good Spirits.

26) Do they have any special talents? If so, what are they?: Ballet and classical piano, though she knows the classic ballroom dances as well, she hasn't had an occasion or a partner in a long while.

27) Have they learned any new skills or abilities in Luceti? If so, what are they? Why and how? She's learned a bit of fencing from Jack and dueling from the last shift, training with Obi-Wan has helped her retain it as well. Gambit's taught her the art of thrown weaponry and she's getting fairly good at that since it is the easiest to practice. At the moment her training with Chun-Li is more on building the basics for a greater understanding of martial arts later. Helios has been invaluable in helping her learn to cook without making anyone sick.

28) What kind of habits do they have on drafts? Are they willing to kill or do they prefer to avoid fighting? Adele has never been on a draft.

29) What kind of habits do they have on missions? What is their reason for going on them? What do they intend to use their points for? She's only been on the one, and she went because if there are going to be volunteers from the village going anywhere dangerous, she'd rather they had a surgeon for when the worst comes to pass. She sticks away from the fighting and focuses on getting everyone patched up and alive. The points are used for getting little comforts at the moment.

30) How long have they been in Luceti? Has that length of time impacted them in any way?: Since early January. As the new cycle approaches she'll become mildly irritable for a bit at the reminder that yes, she's still here, and yes, there's nothing to be done about it. Odds are she'll spend most of the time with either Gambit, Lupin, or the Jedi to keep calm.

31) How do they unwind and get back to normal after a brutal experiment, event, or draft? Most often she has a chat with Obi-Wan in the playground, drinks with Gambit, or relaxes with Lupin in a simulation he made for their massage sessions. She has also taken to meditation in the mornings after stressful days.

32) What is their worst experience from an experiment or kidnapping? Were there any that they actually liked? She fell in love with Tony Stark. That pissed her off quite a bit, because she doesn't really like Tony Stark. It was also her first shift and the knowledge that her emotions could be so easily manipulated was unsettling for her. The second shift was better for her. She's learned more from it, namely, how to not let shifts bother her as much.

33) Anything else you want to note?: After four months in the village? Adele's settled into her own, but remains ever wary of the Malnosso and their experiments.

[personal profile] redjacketthief 2012-04-25 06:09 pm (UTC)(link)
1) Height: 5'10"

2) Weight: Very slim--140lbs

3) Eye color/Hair Color: dark brown and black respectively, due to his being half Japanese.

4) Age: 36 by headcanon, though that could easily be a lie. Definitely mid-to-late 30s

5) Physical features: Very slim, with long arms and legs--people comment that he resembles a monkey for this reason, and his creator is called Monkey Punch!

6) Voice: This link is the opening from the first series, and includes voice over narration from our man himself. Generally I hear him as a mix of his second series actor and his successor, Yasuo Yamada and Kanichi Kurita respectively. They sound so similar that the differences don't matter much.

Interestingly, the man can sing too!

7) Who do they live with and how are chores divided in their house/apartment?: Lupin lives by himself in room 30 of CH 5. Jigen is his direct neighbor, Zenigata lives three floors down, and Fujiko lives two levels up. You..don't want to know the depths of his laziness.

8) Their favorite (and least favorite, if you want) foods and who does the cooking in their house/apartment?: Favorite: Anything tastey. Least favorite: Calamari.

He...eats out most of the time, has the cooking skills of a college frat boy, and sometimes coerces Jigen to cook for him. Additionally, he recently bribed Hayate to cook for him as well (though bribery was not involved at alll)

9) What they do during an average day in Luceti: Lupin? Schedule? Please. He takes to rampant wanderings, has an erratic sleep cycle, and doesn't do much with consistency. He sometimes wanders over to the library because he likes to research, and other times is off skulking somewhere searching the shops for belongings or useful goods. The only real constant in his routine is his training with Smoker at this point. Chun-Li also periodically grabs him and insists that he train with her--he hasn't yet learned to say no.

It should be noted that he's been spending a lot of time in the tunnels lately, as per a certain dastardly plan that will happen this summer.

10) Their general sense of fashion: Generally, Lupin dresses in nice threads and is rarely seen without either his red or green jacket. Wings are covered almost always, though he is a little less cagey about letting people see them now. He will dress for the event too, if there is a theme going on.

11) Do they have any hobbies? Did they come up with these hobbies in Luceti, or was it something they always did?: Currently Lupin has a tendency to build random things with matchsticks (boredom tactic), stalk journals, train with Smoker, or generally go digging in the library. He recently got a mission reward that isn't quite what he expected, but intends to make use of it--he doesn't look it, but he is a musician too.

12) Has the situation in Luceti changed their view on certain topics/the way they react to different things?: No, not really. He's learning patience, but it's a slow process. A recent shift may or may not have 'straightened him out.' We'll see how that goes.

13) Do they have a weapon? If so, do they carry it at all times or just under certain circumstances?: He always carries a discontinued German military service pistol, a Walther P-38. It has sentimental value, and he prefers to stay armed any time he can manage.

14) Who are their neighbors?: Jigen Daisuke (next door); Luke Skywalker, Anakin Skywalker, and Obi-Wan Kenobi (below); SPARTAN-023 "Daisy" (above).

15) Who are their best friends in Luceti? How often do they spend time with them and doing what? His best friends are his canon mates, although recent months have driven him closer to Smoker, Luke Skywalker, and Adele Leblanc. He's also oddly fond of Grell, Yoh Asakura, Gambit, Daisy, and Chun-Li.

16) Their favorite areas/stores/hang-out locations?: Currently a lot in the tunnels, though the restaurants/bars, library, Battle Dome, and barracks are also very good places to catch him.

17) Wing color and how do they deal with their wings?: Red. He generally has them covered and tries to ignore them.

18) Did they change or grow in any way physically since coming to Luceti?: Nope

19) What do they miss the most from home?: His Mercedes and the Autobahn. Oh, and his career.

20) What does their handwriting look like? Do they write the way they talk, or is there a clear difference between the two?: His writing 'voice' is more formal than his general speaking voice most of the time, although there are moments when he feels like trolling and starts abbreviating words or using texting standards. Never emotes.

His handwriting itself is oddly neat for someone with his projected personality. The reason he rarely sends written messages is because he wants as few people as possible to be familiar with it when he starts causing havoc.

21) Is the way they act in person different from the way they act over the journal system?: Not particularly, although he favors voice messages over video and written. It's easier to get away with lying and doesn't reveal his handwriting.

22) Did they gain/lose any personal goals during their stay in Luceti?: He lost his raison d'etre--being the world's best thief. It bothers him.

23) Is Luceti a technological upgrade, or downgrade for them? Have they adapted to these changes well?: Downgrade, but he doesn't really care about it most of the time.

24) FOR STUDENTS: What is their favorite class? What is their least favorite class? What about their general behavior in school?:

25) FOR DRINKERS: What is their favorite drink? What is their least favorite drink? Do they prefer Good Spirits or Cloud Nine? What's their attitude about and while drinking?: His favorites are drinks that are sweet and bright colored, like an appletini, but he doesn't dislike anything. His location of choice is dependant on mood, although he finds Good Spirits to be comfortable in an old pub sort of way.

26) Do they have any special talents? If so, what are they?: He's a thief, a master of disguise, a frightening mimic of voice and action, knows basic sleight of hand, and is a startlingly good violinist. The problem is actually getting him to play...

27) Have they learned any new skills or abilities in Luceti? If so, what are they? Why and how? He's learning how to fight unarmed from Smoker because he realizes that, without his toys, he's pretty bad in a straight up fight.

28) What kind of habits do they have on drafts? Are they willing to kill or do they prefer to avoid fighting? Lupin has never been drafted, but on the recent Naval mission he took to running around dodging enemies and, eventually, masterminded a plan to catapult the Hulk at the enemies. He's a little bit of a madman. Unfortunately, this means he also gets creative with orders and is liable to get in trouble.

29) What kind of habits do they have on missions? What is their reason for going on them? What do they intend to use their points for? He's only been on one mission so far, so his habits are above. Right now he plans to get little things, and horde spare points until he knows what to do with them.

30) How long have they been in Luceti? Has that length of time impacted them in any way?: He's been in Luceti for just over 6 months now, and Lupin is learning not to rush things. This is less like an actual job and more like the time he willfully spent a year in prison to make a point. He's still on guard, but is learning to keep his cool.

31) How do they unwind and get back to normal after a brutal experiment, event, or draft? Depends, though it tends to involve drinking and sleeping. If other people were involved or affected by his actions, he will touch base with them.

32) What is their worst experience from an experiment or kidnapping? Were there any that they actually liked? He hasn't had any good or bad experiences involved with experiments or kidnappings so far. He was injured on the recent mission, but overall he can't answer which ones were the best or the worst yet.

33) Anything else you want to note?: Just This.

1) Height:
170cm

2) Weight:
He's surprisingly muscular so he'd weigh more than you think.

3) Eye color/Hair Color:
Eyes:Pale Turquoise
Hair: Dark Grey

4) Age:
35 in canon, 36 in Luceti. I put his Birthday as June 17th.

5) Physical features:
Here's a full front/side/back shot of him and one of Raven next to Schwann.
Here's the big spoiler.

6) Voice:
NEVER FEAR, KITTEN, DADDY'S RIGHT HERE. Though I love his JP voice too.

7) Who do they live with and how are chores divided in their house/apartment?:
He lives alone in House 12, so he does everything other than clean the empty bedrooms.

8) Their favorite (and least favorite, if you want) foods and who does the cooking in their house/apartment?:
He loves seafood and traditional Japanese meals. He absolutely hates sweet things, but ironically he's a master at making crepes (proof of that here) and has spent most of his time perfecting making desserts for the ladies.

9) What they do during an average day in Luceti:
Most of his days are pretty boring. He wakes up around 6-7am and then acts lazy for the rest of the day. He goes to Good Spirits in the evening, but not every night. He used to spar with Yuri a fair bit but he's not keen on the Battle Dome, though he knows he's getting lazy, he keeps pulling himself to go keep up with his combat skills. Once or twice a month he goes up to the Bath House at the Hot Springs to make sure everything is well kept.

10) Their general sense of fashion:
According to Kosuke Fujishima (his designer) that purple coat is a kimono. He tends to wear the clothes he's forced into, or the ones he actually prefers due to comfort. He likes to "dress down".
Here's all his non-DLC outfits. He has all of these outfits in Luceti except for the Ricardo one, he just never wears them.

11) Do they have any hobbies? Did they come up with these hobbies in Luceti, or was it something they always did?:
Drinking probably counts as a hobby for him :/ But other than his strange sense of combat and flirting with women, he doesn't really have any hobbies. He does have a garden round the back of House 12 filled with Fire Lilies which he tends to.

12) Has the situation in Luceti changed their view on certain topics/the way they react to different things?:
Not really, he has pretty much the same view on everything.

13) Do they have a weapon? If so, do they carry it at all times or just under certain circumstances?:
He always carries his knife in his belt. He sometimes brings his bow along but it's hidden under the back of his coat. He likes keeping it close by since it's the "Divine Canon" bow that belonged to his unrequited love, Casey. His bow itself is called a "sword bow" or "transform bow" (depending on which description your reading). It's a bow that can fold up to form a sword.

Here, look, you can see it for yourself. The yellow is how his bow works, the red is just wtf how did the knife turn into an arrow?

14) Who are their neighbors?:
Arche lives in the house to his right, and nobody lives in the house to his left. House 12 is opposite community building 1 so I guess all of those count as his neighbours too. The only neighbours he really has contact with is Buffy's crew at house 7.

15) Who are their best friends in Luceti? How often do they spend time with them and doing what?
Vash and Jack Sparrow, getting drunk or misbehaving. Though he loves Buffy, Emil, Grune and Miyabi too.

16) Their favorite areas/stores/hang-out locations?:
Good Spirits.

17) Wing color and how do they deal with their wings?:
He loves the fact he has wings, he never bothers to hide them.

18) Did they change or grow in any way physically since coming to Luceti?:
He probably has a few more wrinkles from stress :| He hasn't aged well in his canon at all.

19) What do they miss the most from home?:
He does get a little homesick every now and then, especially so now that all his castmates have left him (Alexei doesn't count because he's a jerk). He also misses the Imperial Knights a little bit, and definitely the guild-centric atmosphere of Dahngrest.

20) What does their handwriting look like? Do they write the way they talk, or is there a clear difference between the two?:
Something like this I'd imagine?

21) Is the way they act in person different from the way they act over the journal system?:
No, Raven is what you see is what you get. He's a shady, perverted old man and he always will be (unless he's being serious, then he tends to drop his 'accent' and speak formally.) But both of those apply to journal and in-person.

22) Did they gain/lose any personal goals during their stay in Luceti?:
Not that I can think of. All being in Luceti does is help him avoid facing his problems. He said that his dream was "to be able to dream again", so he could figure that out in any world.

23) Is Luceti a technological upgrade, or downgrade for them? Have they adapted to these changes well?:
More advanced. Terca Lumireis is dependant on Blastia to function, they're in limited quantity themselves. He didn't have any problem with the barrier though since barriers exist around pretty much every single town in Vesperia.

24) FOR STUDENTS: What is their favorite class? What is their least favorite class? What about their general behavior in school?:
N/A

25) FOR DRINKERS: What is their favorite drink? What is their least favorite drink? Do they prefer Good Spirits or Cloud Nine? What's their attitude about and while drinking?:
Red Wine. The one he's seen drinking is from a vineyard near/in Zaphias apparently (according to it's label in First Strike). He also likes sake, rum and whiskey. Those are the three you'll find him drinking the most. (And all his keywords are alcoholic drinks!)

26) Do they have any special talents? If so, what are they?:
He is the master of crepes. Though his method of combat definitely counts as being "special", he's surprisingly gymnastic and he can backflip like nobodies business (example: everyone else was dying of the heat in the desert while Raven was running around backflipping with joy).

27) Have they learned any new skills or abilities in Luceti? If so, what are they? Why and how?
Gardening and he did try pick up a few instruments but he couldn't find one he liked playing.

28) What kind of habits do they have on drafts? Are they willing to kill or do they prefer to avoid fighting?
He becomes far more serious and strategic instead of his normal joking attitude. He thinks logically and rationally with the priority set to minimizing as much damage to "Team Luceti" as possible. He'll quite happily blow things up with his arrows and bait the Third Party.

29) What kind of habits do they have on missions? What is their reason for going on them? What do they intend to use their points for?
He hasn't been on any missions yet!

30) How long have they been in Luceti? Has that length of time impacted them in any way?:
Raven has been in Luceti since August 2010 (well for me it was Nov 09 but I had to retcon him due to new canon material giving him a backstory). He's just learned "to live with it" but he doesn't like it much.

31) How do they unwind and get back to normal after a brutal experiment, event, or draft?
Sleep and drink it away. Maybe go to the battle dome and shoot some things if it's stressed him out. Raven rarely ever shows anger (only once or twice in the canon itself!)

32) What is their worst experience from an experiment or kidnapping? Were there any that they actually liked?
He liked the Valentines event last year because he got to spend it with Casey! Usually, he dislikes Luceti's events, or tries to find some way to make them amusing.

33) Anything else you want to note?:
I don't usually come up with head canon for things, I try to base them on canon itself so I guess I fail big time at this question :(

Jaydee's Giant Girl - PART 1

[personal profile] daisy023 2012-04-25 06:15 pm (UTC)(link)
Daisy SPARTAN-023

1) Height: 6'9'' (2.06 mts) out of armor, 7' (2.13 mts) inside it.

2) Weight: Around (or over) 102 kg (225 lbs) out of armor. Result of both rather constant exercise and augmentations giving her carbide ceramic bones and dense muscles. A heavy and very athletic girl, but heavy nonetheless. Inside her armor, she weights around 450kg (~1000 lbs).

3) Eye color/Hair Color: Blue eyes, Blonde. Appearance out of armor.

4) Age: 20 headcanon, current 21. Looks her age, just... tall.

5) Physical features: Hip-long hair, well-maintained; 6'9'' or 2.06 meters tall, always has a tiny teddy bear keychain with herself that may be a little hard to notice.

6) Voice: Carli Mosier in english, Houko Kuwashima in japanese. Sounds much more youthful than she looks. Voice samples of Daisy in english in her episode.

7) Who do they live with and how are chores divided in their house/apartment?: Daisy, though Keimi often visits and helps a lot just as well.

8) Their favorite (and least favorite, if you want) foods and who does the cooking in their house/apartment?: Steaks, though she eats of everything. She's trained and capable of cooking her food, but nowhere near the level of a chef. A lot of the times she gets her meals from the restaurants, though. Desserts and sweets are a guilty pleasure of hers. She learned how to bake time ago. Keimi cooks just as well sometimes.

Most hated? UNSC Standard-Issue MRE's. She doesn't miss that from home.

9) What they do during an average day in Luceti:

- Meditation, sometimes talking to the spirits.
- Reading
- Quarters maintenance (Additional: Flower arrangement)
- Scouting and exploration
- Exercise in the Gym
- Combat practice
- Fighting in the Battle Dome
- Studying/Analyzing data
- Armor Maintenance

10) Their general sense of fashion: Military. She prefers fitting clothes and uniforms. Her common choices include: Her armor(s), a red navy jumpsuit, and a navy drab. Civilian clothing is touched more than before (even though she feels them too loose and uncomfortable). In winter she openly uses civilian winter clothes for comfort, or her armor. Because of Luceti, she has been a little more liberal in not using it.

Something to note: No matter what she is dressed with, and no matter if she is even in a mission or in battle, she always has a tiny teddy bear keychain. It's small, and a little hard to notice, but it's always there. She has a history with it, so to speak.

Current wardrobe:

-MJOLNIR Mark IV Powered Assault Armor.
-ODST Battle Dress Uniform.
-New feather dress.
-White suit with military boots.
-Red UNSC Jumpsuit with white boots.
-UNSC Navy uniform.
-Green military pants with yellow bags, gray tank top.
-Two different red jackets. One wool and buttoned, another more loose.
-Two different red skirts. One wool and buttoned, another with a bow.
-Yellow camisole.
-Red one-piece.
-Litchi's Teddiursa getup.
-Winter clothes with scarf.
-Gathered desert attire, with transparent glasses.
-Few example clothes from Keimi. Of particular note a colorful scarf.
-Several dozens of very ornate princess dresses from the Fairy Tale shift.

11) Do they have any hobbies? Did they come up with these hobbies in Luceti, or was it something they always did?: Meditation, reading, exercise, and training, from canon. In Luceti, meditating to talk to the spirits, practicing in the Dome... And baking. Recent one is flower arranging, and having them in her quarters.

12) Has the situation in Luceti changed their view on certain topics/the way they react to different things?: She doesn't wear her armor as often because of the wings, is more tolerating towards visibly non-human & non-mythological species, physical contact isn't as much of a taboo to her (especially so when it concerns close friends and Keimi), and is slowly getting used to civilian life. Of a negative one, her grudge against medical malpractice and slavemasters as gotten stronger.

13) Do they have a weapon? If so, do they carry it at all times or just under certain circumstances?:

CANON
-MA5B Assault Rifle
-M6D Pistol
-Combat Knife

GIFTS
-Lina's Short Sword
-Adell's .44 Netherworld Peace Maker
-Yellow 13's H&K USP .45 pistol

OBTAINED
-Claymore sword from the Smith.

She carries her knife, Lina's short sword, and a pistol outside of her armor. When inside her armor, she carries her rifle, two pistols, and the short sword as a standard. Because of her growing armory, however, she will have to become more selective in the future, especially given missions with different ways to be tackled on.

14) Who are their neighbors?:

No one in her floor. Luke, Lupin, and Zenigata are her most immediate building neighbors, with the later two much to her chargrin.

15) Who are their best friends in Luceti? How often do they spend time with them and doing what?

Valvalis and Neliel in a sisterly sense. She often visits their house to either practice her wind magic or just be with them (and help in the house if needed); Keimi in the romantic one. Aiding eachother for either their ventures within the village or to prepare for missions/drafts, helping eachother with their quarters, and just being there for one another.

16) Their favorite areas/stores/hang-out locations?: Battle Dome, Gym, the Cherry Tree... And the fountain.

17) Wing color and how do they deal with their wings?: White. She keeps them open when outside her armor, but unconsciously ignores them. Having never dealt with wings before, her Spartan training in keeping emotions in check applies not to her wings, making her emotions open when seen.

Daisy keeps her wings covered inside her armor for combat reasons, even if it is uncomfortable as sin. Better to bear with discomfort than letting the enemy make use of it, anyway.

Jaydee's Giant Girl - PART 2

[personal profile] daisy023 2012-04-25 08:03 pm (UTC)(link)
18) Did they change or grow in any way physically since coming to Luceti?: Her hair is now at hip-length after the fairy tale event and well-maintained. Because of improved life conditions (IE, not in a warzone with dwindling resources), most likely gained a handful of kilos as well.

19) What do they miss the most from home?: Constant activity, real combat, some certainty if the enemy is out there... And her reason for living. Saving humanity. Likewise, things she is having to get used to, having got a little help from the former therapist of Luceti, Paprika.

20) What does their handwriting look like? Do they write the way they talk, or is there a clear difference between the two?: Formal and legible, with a little stylization when she writes, but her intention is to make her writing as readable as possible when giving out information and announcements.

21) Is the way they act in person different from the way they act over the journal system?: Paranoid over giving important information over the journal, but other than that, attempts to be as solid in the journals as outside them. Inside her armor, she keeps her emotions in check.

22) Did they gain/lose any personal goals during their stay in Luceti?: Lost her role as protector of the human race upon her death and entrance into Luceti, but kept (and vastly expanded) her duty to save and help as many lives as possible. A newfound one, after her desertion and return, is her readaptation into normal life, and her loved ones' welfare.

23) Is Luceti a technological upgrade, or downgrade for them? Have they adapted to these changes well?: Save for the Battle Dome, a big downgrade, but because of her training, she adapted quickly.

24) FOR STUDENTS: What is their favorite class? What is their least favorite class? What about their general behavior in school?: Not a student, but has a thing for magic and math, and against physical education because it is too easy. And if she was a student, she'd be as obedient as you'd want her.

25) FOR DRINKERS: What is their favorite drink? What is their least favorite drink? Do they prefer Good Spirits or Cloud Nine? What's their attitude about and while drinking?: She does not drink (only with exceptions), but in the times she does, she prefers very sweet drinks. Punch/screwdrivers/something Pinkie Pie would do as a bartender.

Given her inexperience at drinking, UNSC SPARTAN-II rules towards their aversion to it, and Daisy's emerging will to learn more, it's a mess: She knows drinking is risky, and would try to be controlled with it, especially so since most liquors by themselves (beer, tequila, whiskey, etc) taste horrible to her. She can only drink them if they're hidden with something sweet to drink, and even then she did not know how to manage it, drinking quickly.

....... However, given her biology, it's very hard to get her drunk. She'd need around seven drinks in less than an hour to be tipsy. I kind of want her to be forced into a drinking contest with Nami, and lose when the Romulan Ale comes in.

26) Do they have any special talents? If so, what are they?: She is a Spartan. Essentially the utmost elite forces of her world, given not only training in nearly everything, but augmentations that granted her strength, speed, intelligence, and reflexes that reach superhuman levels.

For a SPARTAN-II, she is a very talented fighter and good leader (to the point she was promoted quickly to Chief Petty Officer, although she dislikes it), and her specialty is CQB (Close Quarters Battle: Fighting at close ranges that may even include melee).

27) Have they learned any new skills or abilities in Luceti? If so, what are they? Why and how? Wind magic, thanks to Valvalis, and filial magic in general. Her constant tutelage has helped Daisy be very proficient in its' use to aid her movement, disorient enemies, or to even straighten the path of her bullets in combat. The Spartan's strongest bond is with Kipinn.

She is very aware of its' utility in battle, and wants to make use of as much filial magic as possible. Winds to improve her movement, fire to burn enemies with the metal of her armor, water to gather it from the environment, earth to change their footing, among other things... And as Daisy thought once, keeping the winds still for a distant shot would be Linda's a Sniper's wet dream.

Other newly-lerned skills to fight are swords of short, long, and claymore kinds, by a lot of instructors (Link, Ganondorf, Leonhardt, Luke, etc). While she is still far from what Frederic-104 would be like, she handles herself very well with them in combat. An example of it was during her seafaring mission.

In civilian matters, she knows about baking and flower-arranging, too. She just likes sweets in general, and does a decent job with them thanks to Charlotte; as for flower-arranging, she seems to have a more innate ability. Her love of gardens most likely helped with it.

28) What kind of habits do they have on drafts? Are they willing to kill or do they prefer to avoid fighting?

Beside following her methodology in the briefings she gives for her drafts and her missions, bringing over as many weapons as she can request and being in a group. While she used to operate alone, she was also a Squadron leader and trained to work with groups, so she knows very well the importance of working with teams. If a shifter comes up while in the MJOLNIR or she is injured, she will need a friend to help her; if a friend of hers is taken down or hit by a shift affliction, she will defend her friend as if she was from her pack of wolves.

She does not have any remorse over killing cultists, and does so with an eerie efficiency. While they were taught about honor and to take care of their own, Spartans are very capable of killing their enemies. You could have her slaughter a platoon, and then have her peacefully eating a meal above their bodies.

Part of her reason to be able to kill cultists, just as well, is because their kind is familiar to Daisy. Some Spartans feel a little regret when killing human beings, but the Third Party Cultists are too similar to the Covenant of her world: Fanatic enemies that wish only for your destruction, that deserve neither your pity nor mercy.

29) What kind of habits do they have on missions? What is their reason for going on them? What do they intend to use their points for? Same way as you use armory points in Halo: Reach: More stuff to fight more. :D.

Seriously though, half of it is getting points to aid herself from the problems of Luceti, to learn more of the situation of the world, and to have something to do. It may sound silly, but in fact, Spartans love challenges and difficult operations. SCPO Mendez noted that their morale improves with harder challenges. For her, these missions serve to break her boredom, and put her in difficult scenarios that do challenge her and to help herself and the residents.

She wishes to spend her points in more things either she or her friends may need. She has been thinking of getting the shift have the MJOLNIR repair itself in 24 hours, or a machine that could get her suited up faster. So far, she has spent her points to get an ODST Battle Dress Uniform, and for munitions for her weapons.

Even then, she has a philosophy towards the missions: Lives are more important than points. They do this to help themselves -- Not the Malnosso.

30) How long have they been in Luceti? Has that length of time impacted them in any way?: Since early Jannuary of the third year of Luceti (Early Jan 2011). She is getting used to civilian life, and while the events of Luceti have impacted her psychologically, she is seeking treatment, and in a way, she might be getting help against even older traumas.

Daisy is the happiest she has ever been while in Luceti. But also just as sad, and as angry. If it weren't for the Malnosso, she would not want to leave. And even then, there's the drafts and the missions.

She is undecided whenever if she wants to leave. She knows that her life could end as soon as she leaves Luceti. If she could, she would want to return to her world to continue to help in the war even if it was hell, but all in all, it would also mean losing her loved ones and the closest thing she's ever had to a civilian life.

31) How do they unwind and get back to normal after a brutal experiment, event, or draft? Keeping her mind busy. A mission, fighting in the Dome, going exploring, meditating, and being inside her armor. She yearns both for the feeling of safety it provides, and for having her mind focused in fighting. Something to prevent herself from thinking about what happened.

Save for her wishes to learn more about civilian lifestyle, she does not drink after these events. Part of it is Spartan nature and willpower, but another may be this: If you had her life, who wouldn't drink himself to death?

32) What is their worst experience from an experiment or kidnapping? Were there any that they actually liked? While her first kidnapping brought up old memories of the augmentation procedures and of Harvest, the AU event of April 2011 nearly broke her. Daisy has a past with losing her whole life in the blink of an eye and treated as if it had never existed. Being only four months in Luceti, and at the moment with Valvalis as her only strong bond, it was akin to her past: Being kidnapped from her parents, and to come back home after years only to see she had been replaced.

She had a dad, a mother, a brother, a mentor and a group, a former lover, an organization to go to in the future, and a fate of her own choosing. It was the perfect life and everything she had always wanted. In a darker nature, had it not been for Luceti's cycle of death and rebirth (and Valvalis' help in putting her back together), it's very possible she would have commited suicide. In heacanon, she almost did it when she knew she had nothing to return to during the events of her escape.

When it happened again, she fell into a depression but was not hit as hard. By that time, she had Valvalis, Neliel, and Keimi with her. She had a family of her own.

As for liked ones, there are four:

- Her first shift, what you love the most. She became her mom. She still has the photo Valvalis took of her during that shift, and to this day keeps it with herself.

- The other-species shift, in which she became a sylph, or an air elemental, if you will. Being as a being composed of pure wind helped her gain perspective and knowledge on the way the winds worked.

- The fairy tale shift both for her liking of fantasy stories, and for actually providing her with dresses fit to her size, in spite of having been made Rapunzel for a time, and even then she left her hair at hip-length. Valvalis may be the one to blame for it.

- Secretly, her most favourite was the incident of the Battle Dome. In spite of seeing the Covenant for an instant and fearing for Luceti, she also got to fight. Most importantly, it was her first time in five years to see her first home.

33) Anything else you want to note?: Because of her... different, upbringing, she lost a lot of social skills that are being regained. Finding comfort in the familiarity of military lifestyle is perhaps the biggest bump on the road for her. Part of what's making her try new things is getting the growth she was not allowed to have, and knowing she might not have much time left...

Daisy has a personal, deep-seated fear of the droids, and of being kidnapped. It reminds her of Halsey's crimes during the SPARTAN-II Project: Being taken away from everything she knew and loved, and having her body changed nightmarishly, and seeing friends of hers crippled for life. So, her reasons for hating the Malnosso are personal and psychological. That should tell you why she wanted to paint the Battle Dome blue at that time.

Also, she eats a lot. Girl has to get muscle from somewhere.

Hello this is a placeholder indexy thing.
lostinmyway: (Cozy Big Sister.)

Grune - and here be spoilers!

[personal profile] lostinmyway 2012-04-25 06:31 pm (UTC)(link)
1) Height: 5'9"/175 cm. She typically wears about two-inch heels, though, putting her at just under 6'0" in practice.

2) Weight: 117 lb/53 kg all boobs

3) Eye color/Hair Color: Blue and aqua respectively.

4) Age: Noooooo clue. Canon doesn't say, but I'm guessing "around as long as sentient life has existed" is about right. Time travel makes it impossible to put a number to it. She looks to be in her mid-twenties, though!

5) Physical features: Incredible beauty (Norma has said she's "in the realm of the gods") and epic boobs a fantastic figure.

6) Voice: Ta-da!

7) Who do they live with and how are chores divided in their house/apartment?: Grune lives with Fenimore, Sophie, Walter, and at least temporarily Norma in House 34! She tries to do the housework (dusting and sweeping in particular), but Fenimore usually has to follow and get the spots she missed/forgot about/abandoned. She also tends to bake all their desserts, once again under Fenimore's eye.

As for the others, Fenimore handles breakfast and supper and most housework, Norma gets lunch, and Walter does the hard physical labour. XD;; And they all watch Sophie.

8) Their favorite (and least favorite, if you want) foods and who does the cooking in their house/apartment?: Grune eats everything, having no sense of taste whatseover. It's all equally delicious to her!

Cooking, as above, is divided between Fenimore and Norma, with Fenimore doing the majority of it. Grune handles dessert. XD;

9) What they do during an average day in Luceti: Grune typically wakes up and goes to bed at completely random points in the day; she's on no fixed schedule whatsoever, so she doesn't really have a routine so much as a bunch of activities she does whenever she feels like. These include looking after her garden and the Memory Garden, doing stuff around the house, looking after Sophie (under supervision), picking flowers, going on rambles, visiting friends, drawing, wandering around the village, and spacing out. Every few days, she checks the clinic to see if anyone needs visiting, and two or three times a week, she gets groceries for Dhaos and delivers them to the sixth floor kitchen in CH3. She also ventures out to the beach about once every week or two.

10) Their general sense of fashion: Green and revealing, pretty much. These are a few good examples of other things she tends to wear. She's virtually never without her veil, except at the beach, and only her housemates and Dhaos during Luceti Valley will have seen her without her hair braided or braided and pinned up.

11) Do they have any hobbies? Did they come up with these hobbies in Luceti, or was it something they always did?: Gardening, baking, hanging with friends, drawing, going for wanders, picking flowers, and recently, stargazing. While I doubt anyone would have let her near a stove on the Legacy, the only really new ones are drawing and stargazing. That last one is courtesy of a certain giant blond dude....

12) Has the situation in Luceti changed their view on certain topics/the way they react to different things?: Noooope. Grune loves everyone on the Legacy. Grune loves everyone in Luceti.

13) Do they have a weapon? If so, do they carry it at all times or just under certain circumstances?: She does! She has...an urn. No, seriously. She rarely carries it with her; usually, she uses it to hold the flowers she's picked.

14) Who are their neighbors?: House 32, CH6, CH3, and, erm, the Battle Dome!

15) Who are their best friends in Luceti? How often do they spend time with them and doing what? ...Oh lord, this list got small. Formerly, Giles, Ginia, and Link. Currently Fenimore, Norma, and Dhaos, and after the last event, Cecil. Helios and Rydia are also way up there. ...And probably others, but what is brain function.

16) Their favorite areas/stores/hang-out locations?: GARDENS. 8D Otherwise, everywhere. Grune wanders all over the place and loves everything.

17) Wing color and how do they deal with their wings?:

She keeps her wings completely uncovered and is perfectly comfortable with them. On nice days, they're often spread slightly to catch the breeze.

18) Did they change or grow in any way physically since coming to Luceti?: Nope. Grune could stay in Luceti for a hundred years and look identical to the day she arrived.

19) What do they miss the most from home?: Easy: the rest of her family. So, Senel, Chloe, Will, and Moses. If they were here, she'd be...even more perfectly happy than she already is.

20) What does their handwriting look like? Do they write the way they talk, or is there a clear difference between the two?: Grune's writing is extremely neat. It basically looks like a child's cursive exercise book. She pretty much writes the way she talks, minus her usual "Oh" and "Hmm...." speech pattern.

21) Is the way they act in person different from the way they act over the journal system?: Nope. Grune is Grune no matter how you interact with her.

22) Did they gain/lose any personal goals during their stay in Luceti?: Well, Grune continues to be unable to remember her goals, so yeah. But if she could, they would only be put on hold--not lost. Schwartz isn't exactly someone you can ignore. :D;;

Her new goal is to get to visit her friends after Luceti, but, well. We'll see how that goes.

23) Is Luceti a technological upgrade, or downgrade for them? Have they adapted to these changes well?: Definitely an upgrade. What is electricity?

Amusingly, she's probably adapted the best of everyone out of her household--more likely than not because she wasn't particularly adept at the Legacy's level of technology, so the bar was set pretty low.

24) FOR STUDENTS: What is their favorite class? What is their least favorite class? What about their general behavior in school?: N/A

25) FOR DRINKERS: What is their favorite drink? What is their least favorite drink? Do they prefer Good Spirits or Cloud Nine? What's their attitude about and while drinking?: N/A unless Cecil shows poor judgment again.

26) Do they have any special talents? If so, what are they?: Gardening and blowing things up really well. :|b Also making friends with practically everybody and mothering half of Luceti, apparently.

27) Have they learned any new skills or abilities in Luceti? If so, what are they? Why and how? Grune now knows how to play the piano...sort of. Frederic Chopin was teaching her, no doubt much to his frustration. She's really rusty at the moment, but she could probably pick it up again fairly quickly if she had a few good memory days.

She also has her pact with Nala and will probably be making one with Faeren any day now.

28) What kind of habits do they have on drafts? Are they willing to kill or do they prefer to avoid fighting? Grune will stock up on healing items beforehand and distribute them to everyone she comes across during the draft. Surprisingly, she is willing to kill in the course of battle and has done so. Tales worlds can be fairly harsh at times, and Melfes is no exception.

29) What kind of habits do they have on missions? What is their reason for going on them? What do they intend to use their points for? Grune has never been on a mission, so I can't really answer this one, but I imagine if she went, she would earn points to buy lots of nice things for her friends. If she had any left over, she would save up for a greenhouse. But probably she wouldn't actually get it for herself, because she's self-sacrificing like that.

30) How long have they been in Luceti? Has that length of time impacted them in any way?: Grune has been in Luceti for a year and eight months now. And nope, she hasn't changed a bit since arriving. My activity just increased dramatically around the six-month mark.

31) How do they unwind and get back to normal after a brutal experiment, event, or draft? Grune will spend time with her friends for the most part, although if she's too upset, she'll go do something like garden by herself so as not to worry anyone.

Recently, Grune has taken to drawing pictures of friends who have recently gone home for her walls as a way of saying goodbye.

32) What is their worst experience from an experiment or kidnapping? Were there any that they actually liked? The worst experiments have also been the best for Grune. Both Luceti Valley and the recent AU were wonderful for her while they were happening, because they allowed her to have some measure of a traditional family--a husband in one and kids in another--which she's never had. Unfortunately, her family was then ripped away from her at the end of the experiment, leaving her deeply upset and confused.

It's hard to say which one impacted her the most. Dhaos all but physically booted her from his apartment in rage after Luceti Valley, but Grune lost thirty-nine years of memories after the most recent event. Both were really rough on her.

As for experiments, she likes--most of them, really. She thinks they're fun. Yup. XD

33) Anything else you want to note?: Here's a recent description of Grune's room for anyone who visits. And if you see any opportunities for interaction, let me know! I'm pretty damn buried under my tags at the moment (the last two weeks have been hellish, work-wise @_@), but in another few weeks, I should be very open for new plots, threads, and CR. ♥

Thanks for reading~

Mithos Yggdrasill

[personal profile] imatreenow 2012-04-25 06:33 pm (UTC)(link)
1) Height: Just about 5'4" (!!!)

2) Weight:
Somewhere around 100-105 lbs. Underweight due to sporadic eating habits that tend to coincide with his mood - the past two months have not been good in this regard, what with Martel taking ill and then getting kidnapped. ...Clearly, he needs to visit Sayo more to be properly fed.

3) Eye color/Hair Color:
Blue eyes (despite what some of his icons may indicate), blonde hair.

4) Age:
Over 4000 (old as balls), but about 15 in appearance now.

5) Physical features:
He has a fair amount of scars all over his body, but all the really bad ones (including from two fatal injuries) are on his torso so no one will ever see them; scars on his arms are a lot more faded but still visible. He also has pointy elf ears, but these are covered by his hair at all times. He's recently been returned from having his death penalty (loss of nerve feeling in one leg) removed and he's still recovering, so he has a limp and walks around with a crutch.

6) Voice:
Listen here (spoilers?? because uhhh final battle??), and here (also spoilers l-lol), or here (more spoilers, surprise). Ooh, skip ahead in that same clip to hear bb sounding like he's about to cry. :')

7) Who do they live with and how are chores divided in their house/apartment?:
He lives with his dear sister Martel...and seeing as she's been kidnapped, all the chores have been on him. Prior to this, however, she likely did a bulk of the workload because bum legs are not conducive to most household chores. He would help, though, of course.

8) Their favorite (and least favorite, if you want) foods and who does the cooking in their house/apartment?:
He doesn't have many strong food preferences one way or the other. He likes your basic meat/fish, veggies, grains, fruit, etc. Nothing too out of the ordinary, and he can't handle spicy foods. He still mostly sees eating as on obstacle, just something that needs to be done so the body can function -- after spending 4000 years in a practically flawless (in sooo many ways /eyebrow waggle) machine of a body, having to eat is so banal. When he cooks, it's fairly simple dishes. And when Martel is around and well, they probably cook together.

9) What they do during an average day in Luceti:
He spends most of his time holed up in his house, thinking and brooding and moping and all that. In the past week or so he's been diligently working at rehabilitating his leg. Other activities include playing on Martel's panpipes, reading, and.......a return to gardening (see more on hobbies below). A few times a week, he goes to spend time with Kaori. He thinks about contacting Sayo more often but he's still really awkward about that. Once a week he emerges to run errands, which generally includes a trip to the grocery store, library, and flower shop.

10) Their general sense of fashion:
Terrible. NEXT QUESTION. .........Okay, I'll answer for real. But it really is pretty awful. Half of his clothes in Luceti might actually be girls' clothes, unwittingly, and I wouldn't be surprised. This is what he wears in canon and his wardrobe doesn't deviate too wildly from that. Well-fitted (i.e. tight lmao) pants, various tops (fitted to his torso but perhaps flowy on bottom or in the arms), jackets, shawls, cloaks. He tends to wear a lot of white and cool colors (blues, purples, greens), but other colors aren't toally absent. Always wears boots. ...I decided a while ago that he's awful enough to find Ugg boots appealing (clearly the greatest sin he's ever committed), and he probably wears those around the house (but at least he doesn't wear them outside). And of course ~bracelets~, at least one and no more than two on each wrist, in a variety of colors. He's amassed quite the collection. Quite the fabulous collection.

11) Do they have any hobbies? Did they come up with these hobbies in Luceti, or was it something they always did?:
He plays his sister's panpipes a lot, because he finds the music to be soothing in its familiarity and connection to, well, his sister. He's been playing for, ohhh, about 4000 years -- she might have taught him a little bit while she was alive, but he didn't really pick it up until after she died. So he pretty much learned her repertoire by ear. Took a while, but he had no shortage of time or devotion. Recently, he's been getting back into gardening, which...is something he hadn't done since he lived in Heimdall long long ago. Not only does he help Kaori with her garden, but he's been working on fixing up the garden at his and Martel's house while she's gone; he wants it to be nice for her when she returns. Nevermind that he's the one who destroyed it after she was sent home the last time.

12) Has the situation in Luceti changed their view on certain topics/the way they react to different things?:
Hahaha oh dear. When he first came to Luceti a year and half ago after being betrayed, run into a corner, brought down, and killed, he was very deeply in the mindset of never trusting anyone again because he could only trust himself. And now he's slowly been learning to trust Kaori and Sayo, two whole people who are distinctly not his sister, and one of which is even a human. Huge changes, man.

In...less uplifting news, Luceti basically makes him question his whole existence. No big deal. This has been building up especially in the past half year or so, and it stems from a lot of different things. He has no tangible goals to strive for, and he has a lot of confusion over where his priorities should be and what exactly he wants. When he was leading Cruxis and had the world in the palm of his hand, what kept him going was the belief that he would be happy again once he revived Martel and initiated his Age of Lifeless Beings (essentially creating the perfect world for him and his sister to live in). Now that he knows Martel didn't want any of that, he has to ask himself what the point was, becasue he pretty much spent 4000 years hating everything and being angry, depressed, and lonely for no reason. He doesn't know what to think about all that. Also, he's starting to see that not all humans fit into his concept of what a human is like and he's struggling with trying to figure that out. ...Basically, a lot of his self-delusions are crumbling apart and self-awareness hurts. It's like he's experiencing his own messed-up version of Plato's 'allegory of the cave'.

13) Do they have a weapon? If so, do they carry it at all times or just under certain circumstances?:
Not at the moment, actually. He hasn't possessed a sword since Yuan killed him back in mid October. Soon, though......soon.

14) Who are their neighbors?:
Mithos doesn't know and he doesn't care. :|a But he lives in house 52, sooo...whoever lives in houses 51, 53, and 56, it looks like.

15) Who are their best friends in Luceti? How often do they spend time with them and doing what?
HALFLING BFF KAORI. He generally sees her a couple times a week, and they spend their time gardening (he is a manly man like that) or just hanging out and talking (probably either outside or at his house?). Yup. Then of course there's mama Sayo, but he doesn't spend nearly as much time with her as he should because he's still really herpderp about contacting her.

16) Their favorite areas/stores/hang-out locations?:
His house. 8| He doesn't like being at places where people are. But he likes being outside and away from the village too.

17) Wing color and how do they deal with their wings?:
His wings are grey, and his clothes are adjusted to accommodate them...because shoving them into clothes is uncomfortable. However, he is very cautious with them (especially after having one broken...and then both of them torn out), which just adds onto his suspicion and paranois when he's out and about in the village. CONSTANT VIGILANCE...! ALso his general attitude about them is that they are very inconvenient and very degrading, because they're similar in appearance to the sort of wings lesser angels of Cruxis would have.

18) Did they change or grow in any way physically since coming to Luceti?:
Well he started out at 5'0" and 90 lbs, sooo...yeah. He still has a ways to go, though. He tends to keep his hair about the same length as it's been...it has something to do with being stuck in the past and wanting to appear the same to Martel. When he starts growing more, he'll probably let go of that notion becasue it's not like he'll look the same as when she died anyway.

19) What do they miss the most from home?:
Nothing. He's dead there and even if he was alive he wouldn't have anything left that makes life worth living. :|

20) What does their handwriting look like? Do they write the way they talk, or is there a clear difference between the two?:
Something like this. Neat, loopy, ornamented, kind of girly. He tends to use more formal language when he writes as opposed to when he talks, although formality is not foreign in his speech (it depends on who he's talking to and what his mood is).

21) Is the way they act in person different from the way they act over the journal system?:
N....o...? Well he can't attack anyone from over the journal, I suppose.

22) Did they gain/lose any personal goals during their stay in Luceti?:
He already had all of his hopes and dreams crushed in his own world. :') Luceti is an improvement insofar as creating the possibility for Martel to return to him...and she did! The problem, however, is that he has no agency in whether or not she stays and whether or not she appears again if that happens. Also, turning everyone to lifeless beings is not a feasible goal here, which is unfortunate because then he has to deal with living among humans and it is awful on so many levels.

23) Is Luceti a technological upgrade, or downgrade for them? Have they adapted to these changes well?:
Mithos is accustomed to a high level of technology and a lot of the things he's familiar with are not available in Luceti, but at the same time there is a fair amount of technology in Luceti that he isn't familiar with. So it evens out in a way. Maybe. Some things like certain electronics or appliances weird him out, but he's fairly quick at learning how to use many of these if it's necessary.

24) FOR STUDENTS: What is their favorite class? What is their least favorite class? What about their general behavior in school?: Not applicable.

25) FOR DRINKERS: What is their favorite drink? What is their least favorite drink? Do they prefer Good Spirits or Cloud Nine? What's their attitude about and while drinking?: Not applicable.

26) Do they have any special talents? If so, what are they?:
He possesses extensive knowledge of medicinal herbs and traditional remedies, which he learned from his sister while growing up. Considering that he only bothers utilizing this knowledge to help a very, very select group of people...it's kind of a waste. Haha. And the obvious (so obvious I neglected to even mention it originally lmasod), he is a highly skilled swordsman and mage. Unfortunately, without his Cruxis Crystal or even an ordinary Exsphere, his body isn't physically capable of performing anywhere near the peak of his ability (more so in magic than in swordsmanship).

27) Have they learned any new skills or abilities in Luceti? If so, what are they? Why and how?
The power of friendship. :| I'm only half-joking. 8| Okay but seriously...no, he hasn't. He is somewhat interested in the filial spirits but at the same time he's kind of wary because they're uncannily similar to Summon Spirits and there's all the equal partnership jazz that doesn't really jive with him anymore.

28) What kind of habits do they have on drafts? Are they willing to kill or do they prefer to avoid fighting?
He has no problem with killing as many enemies as possible. Even if they're already dying, he'll deliver a final blow to make sure they're good and dead. ...He also wouldn't have any problem with going after certain other villagers if the opportunity presented itself. While on a draft, he prefers to remain a loner or stick close with the rare person he trusts/cares about, if applicable.

29) What kind of habits do they have on missions? What is their reason for going on them? What do they intend to use their points for?
He hasn't been on a mission yet, as they only became a thing while he had a bum leg...and I'm not sure if he ever plans to be on one. He would if he could use his points to get something liiiike an Exsphere or Cruxis Crystal but OOCly I have great trepidation over that. 8|

30) How long have they been in Luceti? Has that length of time impacted them in any way?:
It will be a year and a half come May. Wow. The longer he stays, the more he realizes how much he doesn't want to leave. Not only is he dead back in his own world, but he has a few great things going for him here: his sister, a friend who understands him, and someone who accepts him as he is. So...no, he doesn't want to lose any of that.

31) How do they unwind and get back to normal after a brutal experiment, event, or draft?
After brutal experiments, which usually means the ones that mess with his head and change his personality/thoughts/etc., he mopes around and broods extra hard. Many times, his initial reaction is usually to call up on Kaori and talk to her becasue it helps him feel better. Oooor sometimes he'll cry like a little bitch (see the recent AU experiment), and THEN mope and brood extra hard. After the initial burst of being upset/angry, he'll try to calm himelf down by playing the panpipes and meditating on the music.

32) What is their worst experience from an experiment or kidnapping? Were there any that they actually liked?
Worst kidnapping experience was when he was taken in and experimented on to collect data on his physical state (having been semi-immortal previously but no longer) and things in relation to that. He returned worse for the wear and was shortly apprehended and imprisoned by Yuan, Sheena, and Raine. Thanks guys. Worst experiment...just...all the ones that alter his personality or mind, basically. In retrospect, good things have come out of that in the past (like growing closer to Sayo), but he just hates all the confusion and weirdness that goes with it. He would prefer to remain unchallenged in his little corner of the world.

33) Anything else you want to note?:
Uhhhh I have all the headcanon ever and those of you on my plurk know I like to ramble up a storm but I should really go...work on my homework. :I

Freyjadour Falenas

[personal profile] falenandawn 2012-04-25 06:46 pm (UTC)(link)
1) Height: about 5'9 now- might grow a little more before the year is out.

2) Weight: No canon weight, but he's slim yet muscular- not quite buff, but similar to that of a runner or swimmer with pronounced shoulders.

3) Eye color/Hair Color: Blue eyes, whiteish-silver hair. the concentration of color varies based on offical art/game graphics/fanart/ohgosh why

4) Age: 17 (Mentally, 18 and a half-ish.)

5) Physical features: Well, starting in a few days his hair is going to be back to it's post canon update length, perhaps a bit shorter, but definitely past his shoulders. because Kaori is a horrible manipulative creature and I need the icons. He tends to try to keep his appearance neat and collected, though his hair will probably forever be a perfect disaster of cowlicks to his dismay. He wears one fang shaped earring in his left ear.

6) Voice: N/A- He's a silent protag, so no canon VA besides battle sounds of which there are three options. He's got a very quiet, smooth voice that he rarely raises.

7) Who do they live with and how are chores divided in their house/apartment?: He lives in house 11 with Gold, Silver, Crystal, Yellow, Red, Blue, Lymsleia, Kaori, Selphie.... did I miss anyone...

He tends to cook fairly often because he's far more used to cooked meals compared to slap-dash teenage meals. He would clean some rooms of the house, and stick to cleaning whatever fairly would be asked of him (in reason.) as well as his room.

8) Their favorite (and least favorite, if you want) foods and who does the cooking in their house/apartment?: He doesn't really have a favorite, but he prefers healthy, home cooked meals, often with a variety of seasonings.

9) What they do during an average day in Luceti: Well, for a while he had a decent schedule going, but at the moment he's been sticking closer to the house- and Lymsleia. and Kaori. Mostly to make sure neither of them do something he'll later regret. Oh, and his hair is kind of a pain to get around with.

10) Their general sense of fashion: He's fallen on the habit of dressing simply but neatly in Luceti- Nothing overly casual, but button ups and slacks and things that wouldn't seem too 'modern' definitely reign here. His sense of color is a little better now, but he still has some painfully eye blinding tops he wears on occasion.

11) Do they have any hobbies? Did they come up with these hobbies in Luceti, or was it something they always did?: Cooking has, ironically, become a hobby. He couldn't cook much at all before Luceti- it wasn't something he had learned, though he understood basics. Now he enjoys finding new recipes, learning new dishes and trying new things. It's simple, yet challenging, and something people enjoy the product of.

12) Has the situation in Luceti changed their view on certain topics/the way they react to different things?: He's mellowed quite a bit to more 'modern' mentalities. some people could be somewhat rude by the standards he was raised in. Now he doesn't much mind.

13) Do they have a weapon? If so, do they carry it at all times or just under certain circumstances?: Still carries his weapon- He has a leather holster for it in canon, attached to a belt he wears around his waist. It looks a bit odd, but he carries it almost every day.

14) Who are their neighbors?: House 10, 9, 12, and CH1- oh goodness.

15) Who are their best friends in Luceti? How often do they spend time with them and doing what? Selphie is, by far, his closest friend. He tries to hang out with heer as much as possible, and probably does quite a bit now that they live together.

16) Their favorite areas/stores/hang-out locations?: He enjoys hanging out at the Library and Battledome. Sometimes by the Rivers, as well.

17) Wing color and how do they deal with their wings?: His wings are a solid, bright red, and now days he tends to keep them covered, tucked under his clothes against his back.

18) Did they change or grow in any way physically since coming to Luceti?: He's grown quite a bit- he'll probably finish growing and level out somewhere in the upper 5' range or even a solid 6' by year's end. His hair was, up until recently, cut short from his canon update.

19) What do they miss the most from home?: The knights, his friends. Falena in general. It will always be home no matter how long he spends in Luceti.

20) What does their handwriting look like? Do they write the way they talk, or is there a clear difference between the two?: Neat, flowing script that was carefully learned. He probably had lessons at some point. He tends to use more formal language in writing.

21) Is the way they act in person different from the way they act over the journal system?: Pretty much the same.

22) Did they gain/lose any personal goals during their stay in Luceti?: When he arrived in Luceti his goal was to go back, save his sister and end the war- now the war is over, for him, and he's gained closure in a way. His new goal is to see this place through.

23) Is Luceti a technological upgrade, or downgrade for them? Have they adapted to these changes well?: Technological upgrade- it took him time to adjust to it, and he hated the microwave for a long while for their 'screeching' ... but now he tends to take it all in stride.

If so, what are they?: Um... Besides being willing to help nearly anyone and having a hell of a lot of determination? He's quite skilled in battle for his age, but that is probably subpar compared to most of Luceti. He has a talent for 'hard work' as it were, and canonically is 'very charismatic'.

27) Have they learned any new skills or abilities in Luceti? If so, what are they? Why and how? Freyjadour's gotten much better at unarmed combat, though he still prefers his Tri-nunchaku and it will always be his main strength. He might try learning a bit more about swordplay, again.

28) What kind of habits do they have on drafts? Are they willing to kill or do they prefer to avoid fighting? He tends to focus on keeping people alive and getting the enemy out of civilian or camp territory as quickly as possible- If needed to take a leadership role, he will, but he knows there are people with far more experience then he has here. He isn't hesitant to kill if needed, which in drafts is definitely a 'yes' usually.

29) What kind of habits do they have on missions? What is their reason for going on them? What do they intend to use their points for? He tends to focus on missions he can gain something from information wise- Or at least those that most benefit the village. He's only been on one so far, but the points went to getting a rune Albert requested.

30) How long have they been in Luceti? Has that length of time impacted them in any way?: Two years. He's gotten used to it, but his desire to return home will probably never change. His friends, family, life and duty lay there. He's also grown far more casual.

31) How do they unwind and get back to normal after a brutal experiment, event, or draft? He tends to spend time on his own, processing everything and handling any lingering upset in a way that would be unobtrusive. He doesn't want to negatively impact anyone. If he can't do that, well... he throws himself into taking care of someone, a personal project, or something else.
32) What is their worst experience from an experiment or kidnapping? Were there any that they actually liked? He rarely gets kidnapped, but that would have to be the girl thing. And Sokka. And... yeah. 8|;;

Experiment wise, it was probably That August. The entire thing. And most every experiment that has altered his memories.

33) Anything else you want to note?: I don't even know.

1) Height: 1.72 Imperial Meters

2) Weight: 77 kilograms

3) Eye color/Hair Color: Blue/Blonde

4) Age: 29, turning 30 soon

5) Physical features: Nothing special. Cybernetic right hand...

6) Voice: Here you are

7) Who do they live with and how are chores divided in their house/apartment?: Anakin Skywalker and Obi Wan Kenobi, as well as a few of Luke's hand-made droids (crafted with a little help from Dr. Eggman). Most of the cleaning Luke and the Droids probably do, and the various chores are probably done evenly.

8) Their favorite (and least favorite, if you want) foods and who does the cooking in their house/apartment?: Favorite: Trikaloo, but...thats not found in Luceti. Least favorite? Bantha. I imagine they eat out a lot, or stick to simple things prepared themselves.

9) What they do during an average day in Luceti: Run, Walk, Meditate, Train, Read, Work with students of some sort.

10) Their general sense of fashion: Prefers dark clothes, weather appropriate, but he has been known to do the Hawaiian getup.

11) Do they have any hobbies? Did they come up with these hobbies in Luceti, or was it something they always did?: Yes. Luke actually enjoys reading, and board games. He's not bad at chess.

12) Has the situation in Luceti changed their view on certain topics/the way they react to different things?: Luke hasn't changed much, he was pretty open to most things before.

13) Do they have a weapon? If so, do they carry it at all times or just under certain circumstances?: Yes. A pair of lightsabers, one long, one short. He carries them at all times, more out of habit than necessity.

14) Who are their neighbors?: That he knows? Lupin III, Jigen Daisuke, Fujiko Mine, and Daisy

15) Who are their best friends in Luceti? How often do they spend time with them and doing what? Luke's fairly close to his canonmates, but aside from them? Lupin III, Ami Mizuno, Adele LeBlanc, and Leonardo are the ones he feels closest to. He's fond of a great many other people, in particular Derek and Harry Dresden.

16) Their favorite areas/stores/hang-out locations?: The Lake and the woods

17) Wing color and how do they deal with their wings?: Luke's wings are white. Generally he ignores them.

18) Did they change or grow in any way physically since coming to Luceti?: He hasn't had a haircut, so it may be getting a bit shaggy

19) What do they miss the most from home?: You mean aside from Han and Leia? Traveling the stars.

20) What does their handwriting look like? Do they write the way they talk, or is there a clear difference between the two?:
Luke's handwriting is similar to his speech. Very formal, with the odd flourish or twitch for effect.

21) Is the way they act in person different from the way they act over the journal system?: Not really

22) Did they gain/lose any personal goals during their stay in Luceti?: Nope. Luke's rebuilding the Jedi at home still. And training others that are capable in the ways of the Jedi.

23) Is Luceti a technological upgrade, or downgrade for them? Have they adapted to these changes well?: Its a downgrade, and its not been easy. Luke's used to having a lot more droids, particularly R2 around.

If so, what are they?: Luke is a fairly skilled mechanic and pilot.

27) Have they learned any new skills or abilities in Luceti? If so, what are they? Why and how? Luke's learned to cook. Why? He was hungry! How? From trial and error....also a book

28) What kind of habits do they have on drafts? Are they willing to kill or do they prefer to avoid fighting? Luke treats drafts like missions. He's a soldier, he will kill when necessary, but prefers stealth or incapacitation to knock-down-drag-out fights.

29) What kind of habits do they have on missions? What is their reason for going on them? What do they intend to use their points for? Luke's habits are the same. He goes on them mostly out of boredom, and the desire to be helpful. The points...are for various things from home to make his life easier.

30) How long have they been in Luceti? Has that length of time impacted them in any way?: Since November. Luke's a bit more accepting of things, though he is frustrated with gaps in his memory a great deal.

31) How do they unwind and get back to normal after a brutal experiment, event, or draft? Meditation. Going for a walk. Secretly cutting loose in the Battle Dome.

32) What is their worst experience from an experiment or kidnapping? Were there any that they actually liked? Luke...was mortified with himself when Valentine's ended. He felt that he'd done a grave disservice to Ami, and...tried to rectify it by any means he could. He didn't mind the Going Home event, as it brought him closer to his friends. And he got to see Han and Kyle again

33) Anything else you want to note?: Luke's going to be experiencing some odd personality fluctuations over the next month. Be on the lookout for strange behavior, as he's slowly going to be possessed by an ancient Jedi spirit.
