Aang and Sokka: You know the drill, in basics at least. Sokka is Aang's best bro and someone to look up to in most cases - or to laugh at when he pretends that silly thing called "logic" is more important than fun. Now that Aang's over a year in, he has more of a perspective on what Sokka's going through and an understanding of his changes. He can see how Sokka's edges have sharpened; he's afraid of the same happening for him, but still hopeful for Sokka overall, that despite his changes, he's still the same at his core. That's backed up by how easy it is to hang around and joke with him most of the time.

But that will be due to change. After all, it shouldn't be long until Aang starts hearing from the others about what he's done on the draft, which will be very confusing and hurtful to Aang and make him wonder more about if Sokka really is the same. The actual answer could be devastating in its own way, in that not only has Sokka in a way lost who he is at his center, but Aang was unable to tell it at all of his best friend.

Kurt and Logan: Kurt has always looked up to Logan in a way - he's the cooler, older, hardcore teacher after all, and it's always fun to stalk his battles in doomed sports cars. Although actually training with him, that makes him want to rethink this relationship. Even though on the inside, the knows it's ultimately good for him that Logan challenges his inner slacker constantly. Here in Luceti, they've been forced into closer quarters, and it's an odd adjustment. After all, Logan's now the primary male teacher of the house, with no Professor to keep control or even Hank to act as a buffer. It's kind of an odd and awkward adjustment, being around him this much. And being in Luceti comes with its own host of challenges, especially with the preparations for the notably more hostile conflict in this world. This is a bit overwhelming for the fuzzy man in a way, but overall he still trusts Logan and through these hardships is coming to admire him more, while he and Storm are the closest things to leaders they have here.
