So Bolin started out kinda hero-worshippy with Sokka. He was this cool confident guy who helped end the war and had all these crazy stories about him. And generally he's found Sokka be a cool dude. Except the draft has him hitting the brakes because WOW THIS ISN'T COOL IN THE LEAST. He'll try and excuse as a necessity of war but at the same time he's gonna be pulling back a little.
