Rock Lee has high respect for her, especially with her princess-ness. This definitely makes her someone worthy of serving and protecting in his eyes, in his own eccentric way. But he appreciates how kind and generous she is as well.

Kurt really likes her, himself. A lot about her is very interesting, especially how the laguz situation is similar to that of the mutants in some regards. And her kindness in particular has touched him, her songs are relaxing. He feels a good enough connection to her that he thinks he can trust her in showing her his true form sometime. And keep on trying to impress her via his jokes. She's very nice and refreshing a person overall.
