I cannot be assed to write this in full As a sonnet Shakespearean style. It's been like six years since I read these in school And I cried bitter tears all the while. So Layton thinks she's a charming young girl As he's never seen proof of her meanness. I wrote some more stuff but it took way too long So you can go suck it.
Anise is fun and spunky and Layton is amused when they talk. Sometimes she gets weirdly material about stuff but she's young so he thinks maybe it's just her being youthful?? Seriously my brain is so fried from that crappy poem that I can't process anything deeper than this. It's pretty sad. Uhh he thinks she's a good person even if her presence on the morality scale is sometimes ambiguous. He likes to think she tries to do the right thing in the end despite her pouting, cajoling, etc. As such, he finds her pretty entertaining to witness. Anise isn't very ladylike at all, but that's ok because she has her own unique charm. Sometimes he'll get a glimpse of her more serious side and be like, o so Anise can be pretty mature too. He pays attention to her vulnerabilities when they crop up and genuinely cares for her.
He sometimes wonders if she's a good influence on Luke, but whatever. Go forth, Luke. Make your own mistakes. Or watch Anise make hers and learn wisely.
