Oh, it's clear that they're going to be the best of friends!

Though, in all honesty, I could eventually seeing that happening down the line. Suki is the sort of tough, kick-ass female that Katniss can admire. Especially if she finds out more about the Kyoshi warriors. (And I apologize for spelling mishaps in here; I just woke up and am apparently too lazy to google proper spellings.) That's something she would consider very impressive. Especially Suki's leadership skills and ability to get all of her girls out of the war with the Fire Nation all safe and sound when Katniss utterly failed at doing that in her own war.

Right now, though, it's a lot more confusing. Suki definitely caught her at a bad time in their first thread, one where Katniss is much more interested in sulking and feeling sorry for herself rather than taking any positive steps forward. So she's mostly kind of irritated at the other girl rather than anything else. But I think if they were to meet again now, what with the distraction of Effie consuming most of Katniss' life, matters might go differently. Though they'd definitely be awkward in a "HEY I KIND OF MADE OUT WITH YOUR EX TO ANNOY MY FORMER CHAPERON BUT I REALLY WOULDN'T MIND MAKING OUT WITH HIM AGAIN" kind of way. >>

But yes. I see this all happening, and omg! I hope Katniss does tell Suki about how they made out. Suki will be all the unsure.
