OH TEDDY. That whole blonde hair/blue eyed built thing you have going on definitely makes her think of Peeta a lot of the time. But the personalities and relationships couldn't be any more different. It's definitely his appearance that caught her attention at first, but that's clearly no longer the driving force of their friendship.

He's become someone Katniss can depend on. I think it was possibly the guitar lessons that did that. His willingness to teach her a new way to craft music without wanting anything in return. I mean, she was suspicious as anything because, well, she's Katniss. But it meant a whole, whole lot to her. And I think since, they've just become even closer. He's the only other person Katniss has ever met who can say they've watched a family member become a human torch in front of her eyes. And I think the bond that they shared at the spa just kind of reinforced this sibling-like opinion of him. If Katniss had had a big brother, Teddy would totally have been it (even if, I think, they're about the same age. SO TWIN OLDER BY A FEW MINUTES.).
