This girl is like the small relative Sheena was only kind of aware she wanted. They share a bit of heartbreak and loneliness, and when she looks at Vanellope’s attitude, Sheena can see some of her old self in there. It makes her want to both protect and befriend this girl, who has the potential still to hang on to her enthusiasm and belief in herself as a winner.

And teaching her ninja things? Pretty much the most awesome lessons ever.
