The Daily Life Meme
Friends, Lucetians, countrymen, lend me your ears! Once upon a time, Kyio (God rest her zombie bones) gave us a quaint little meme. Once again, more than a year has passed since it has been revisited, so awwwww here it goes...!
All you do is fill out the following survey! Now is the time to unleash all that tl;dr you've pent up for all this time. Let your fellow players know what your character gets up to in Luceti - hobbies, habits, hangouts, and more. Find out things you never knew about your CR! Find new cool cats to make CR with! Go, go, go!
As always, feel free to throw around IC or OOC responses and questions to each other. Have fun!
EDIT: Forgot Cloud Nine no longer exists, so I edited question 28 to include Seventh Heaven instead. WHOOPS.

Venusaur, Pikachu, and Snorlax. They're his pokemon and it's really not cheating to put them here because they're not his pets. He loves them a lot beyond just a person ordering around monsters he's captured.
Of course, he spends all the time with them. He might go into a place or do something and let them stay out and just chill, but it's always in the same area. They all stick together, looking after each other (definitely more so once Snorlax wasn't as stubborn about being a team player with them ((but he's still a stubborn butt))), and they try and work on everything as a team.
Pikachu is the one you can have fun and joke around with and who'll joke on you. Venusaur is calm, who'll listen and just spend that close time with you. Snorlax will eat all your leftovers and fall asleep but will punch a thousand faces when the time comes.
They're all super protective of Red and Red's super protective of them in turn.
Aside from them, he's grown close to Saori Kimura, the god of summer storms. They met when he first came to Luceti, and since then she's been teaching him in different ways. He promised to help her soon after his arrival if they were to ever be on the battlefield together, and she's one of the first people he might think to go to should he need anything. He spends some time with her each day for their training sessions where he brings her an egg-type snack.
He's also fond of Caius Quallis (
17) On the flip side, is there anyone they actively don’t get along with? How do they interact, and would people know about this?
Red Does Not Get Along With Giovanni (
Red doesn't get along with Gold (
He's also not very fond of Vegeta (
18) Their favorite areas/stores/hang-out locations?:
Red doesn't usually go anywhere else than the apartments, the farm, and the battledome. But before Red got super into focusing these things, he did like to go to the forest since the forest reminded him of closer tohome, even though Viridian's forest is much different to the one in Luceti (less pokémon, for once). Sometimes he does go there now and then, but since training elsewhere with more space is better, he doesn't go as much. He also likes to hang around on the beach since the last place he was at had one, and it's just a very nice sight for him. IS THAT STILL THOUGH?
There's also the area between the forest and the mountains, the plains, that Red likes to go. Big big open space.
19) Do they belong to any clubs or organizations? Which ones? Do they go regularly, or just occasionally?
Nope. He learns from people, but isn't part of any club.
20) Wing color and how do they deal with their wings?:
White. Red doesn't do anything specific with the wings; they're there, they don't bother him unless they get knocked and they can't make him fly so therefore they are irrelevant forever.
21) Did they change or grow in any way physically since coming to Luceti?:
He's probably changed in small ways, being a kid still growing up, and his weight might've fluctuated to some degrees. It's usually never been anything noticeable maybe? He does end up doing more physical activities in Luceti than he did back home, but. Kid.
22) What do they miss the most from home?:
Travelling and the freedom of that. Being able to be with more of his pokémon and the simplicity of it all. Red knew about death and loss, but not to the degree that it's been put in his face as it has been in Luceti.
He also misses his mother and wouldn't mind being able to go and see her.
23) What does their handwriting look like? Do they write the way they talk, or is there a clear difference between the two?:
It's not neat, but it's not unreadable. It's very, very - simple? Not really fashioned or stylised in any particular way. He also writes how he talks.
24) Is the way they act in person different from the way they act over the journal system?:
Not really. Red doesn't feel any need to put up an appearance over the two, and usually approaches people over the journal in the same way he would in person.
25) Did they gain/lose any personal goals during their stay in Luceti?:
The most biggest thing was his desire to take on the Elite Four and become the Champion. It was a goal that was growing in the back of his head, the biggest of them all next to working on Professor Oak's pokédex. But here, now, it seems pretty pointless. What does it actually matter compared to other things? He wants to get stronger, but the Champion challenge doesn't seem like something that has to be the way for him.
The passion for trainer battles hasn't been as there for him either. There's a lot more to care about than friendly matches and, in this place, he doesn't feel like he matches up in the same way as the other trainers for it be a fair experience between the two of them.
Unless you're Giovanni then get ready to fight soggy old man.
26) Is Luceti a technological upgrade, or downgrade for them? Have they adapted to these changes well?:
It's very much a downgrade. Back in Red's world there's computers that can store items inside and also there are machines that can transfer living creatures (pokémon) through them. Disks that can help pokémon instantaneously learn moves when in contact with them, tiles that can warp a person from one floor to another and also machines that can bring fossils back to life in no time at all.
27) FOR STUDENTS: What is their favorite class? What is their least favorite class? What about their general behavior in school?:
school is for losers, travel the world instead and learn things as you go
28) FOR DRINKERS: What is their favorite drink? What is their least favorite drink? Do they prefer Good Spirits or Seventh Heaven? What's their attitude about and while drinking?:
NON-ALCOHOLIC DRINKS. Red drinks... whatever? He actually likes tea since it reminds him of home and being around his mother and his rival's sister. He also like juice drinks and water. Most of the time, Red sticks to water.
29) Do they have any special talents? If so, what are they?:
UHHH?
He's a pokémon trainer, though whether or not that's considered special is highly dubious. Then again, he's meant to be a very good trainer, so there's that.
30) Have they learned any new skills or abilities in Luceti? If so, what are they? Why and how?
Other than weapon training and hand to hand combat, Red's been learning how to use magic. He first had a taste of it when he contacted the filial spirit Nala with the help of Saori Kimura, learning how to heal with the hope of it being beneficial on the battlefield. Realising the problem that using filial magic would end up with him being tracked by Shift Hunters, Red gave up on that route and has turned to learning magic from other worlds.
He's learning from two different people, though at different degrees. The more prominent is Karis Renell's magic, a small info thing about it here. He's got more of a focus on support-based magic than anything offensive, though some of the spells can be used as such.
Next, he's also learning now and then from Helios Sprensonne (
31) What kind of habits do they have on drafts? Are they willing to kill or do they prefer to avoid fighting?
Red likes to avoid killing anything, though you know, there might've been some instances of the other side getting killed under the weight of his Snorlax through some of his body slams. Still, to kill isn't his thing and Red absolutely wants to avoid such an option. It was the reason for him learning to use a fighting staff as opposed to a blade, as a way to take down an enemy but not to seriously harm them (in Red's head, anyway).
He uses his three pokémon on the missions. Pikachu has a main focus on foot soldiers and anything that won't be able to withstand his electricity. Snorlax will attack anything, but he has the biggest focus on the Shift Hunters due to his high endurance.
Venusaur can go for either, but her powders - particularly her sleeping powder and her sweet scent - are usually used to try and slow down the enemy.
32) What kind of habits do they have on missions? What is their reason for going on them? What do they intend to use their points for?
Uhhh his habit is to do his best? Red has a desire to actually use his mission points to bring into Luceti more of his pokémon, though he might've figured out that there isn't much of a possibility for that. Or, at least, it's in the back of his mind. Still he wants to try it, and it's also a way for him to try and become more hardened. So far though, he's only done combat testing.
33) How long have they been in Luceti? Has that length of time impacted them in any way?:
Red has bee in Luceti since early March. He does have a desire to go home, especially if it would mean that he could grow up and catch up to the person he might be in the future, but at the same time there's no real thought in going back. He doesn't really thinking about it, knowing that doing so won't exactly make it be.
Though, saying that, he does often think about wishing he could be home when he's feeling bad about what's going on.
34) How do they unwind and get back to normal after a brutal experiment, event, or draft?
Reealllly badly? He hasn't quite figured out a way of properly dealing with the events that happens in Luceti. After the fight in Zompania, he dealt with that by distancing himself from everyone and then feeling bad for that. He then afterwards tried to make up for that by trying to help how he could other people. But he's become more distance than he used to be since the draft, encouraged by bad decisions.
He doesn't try to confide in people, really. He confides in his pokémon, and that it's. He has spoken a bit about his feelings but, for Red, he's not had much of that kind of relationship with other people than his mother. In the pokémon world he was growing towards an independent lifestyle (co-dependent on his pokémon), so he has a very 'do things himself' mentality. He will take help from others in reaching his goals of course, but for the most part, but he'll also take those lessons and work on them himself.
So his way of dealing things is sticking to his pokémon and putting up a good face for himself. And not entirely act like things are okay, but not make a deal out of them. Except then do when touchy subjects get brought up. OOPS.
35) What is their worst experience from an experiment or kidnapping? Were there any that they actually liked?
Zompania has had to be Red's worst experience. It's likely the first time he's ever seen a dead human being before, and Zompania had plenty of them to be found. Fresh blood, fresh bodies, people attacking without remorse -- it was horrible. It still is horrible.
He still has nightmares about the draft, and for a long time felt that the bodies were there with him when it as dark when he slept. He still does at times now.
36) Anything else you want to note?:
Red is a stubborn brat who makes reckless decisions and has good intentions. Or something.
Feel free to ask anything if you like I guess!
