The Daily Life Meme

Friends, Lucetians, countrymen, lend me your ears! Once upon a time, Kyio (God rest her zombie bones) gave us a quaint little meme. Once again, more than a year has passed since it has been revisited, so awwwww here it goes...!

All you do is fill out the following survey! Now is the time to unleash all that tl;dr you've pent up for all this time. Let your fellow players know what your character gets up to in Luceti - hobbies, habits, hangouts, and more. Find out things you never knew about your CR! Find new cool cats to make CR with! Go, go, go!

As always, feel free to throw around IC or OOC responses and questions to each other. Have fun!

EDIT: Forgot Cloud Nine no longer exists, so I edited question 28 to include Seventh Heaven instead. WHOOPS.

B'Elanna Torres

[personal profile] snapturtle 2014-07-24 04:27 am (UTC)(link)
1) Height: 5'5'' (Height of her actress Roxann Dawson)

2) Weight: 175 lbs (It's a guess and it may seem heavy but Klingons are heavier than humans so for her that wouldn't be considered overweight.)

3) Eye color/Hair Color: Both are dark brown.

4) Age: 23

5) Physical features: B'Elanna is half human and half Klingon. While her forehead ridge is the only outward sign of her Klingon heritage, there are inward ones. Her stamina and strength are above average for a human thanks to her Klingon blood. Plus she has certain strengths and weakness that can attribute to it. Such as being immune to certain diseases but also being more susceptible to the cold. Inwardly her physiology is somewhere between a human's and a Klingon's with the latter often taking dominance.

6) Voice: B'Elanna interacting with the Doctor!

7) Who do they live with and how are chores divided in their house/apartment?: She lives in the Trek house with Kirk, Spock, and Harry. She is the fix-it person in the house and does some of the cleaning. Living with three men can be a bit trying, and while she's not really good at it, tries to take on some of the more domestic roles. But she's not washing your underwear boys.

8) Their favorite (and least favorite, if you want) foods and who does the cooking in their house/apartment?: She doesn't cook, but she will help if she can. Or she will just settle for microwavable food. Her favorite foods are banana pancakes with maple syrup, potato salad with paprika, and fried chicken. She absolutely hates anything with Leola root in it, or a majority of the things Neelix makes.

9) What they do during an average day in Luceti: Stuff to do is something she's still trying to figure out. She will do stuff at home but quickly gets bored. She's also been trying to create some devices with what little she's found around Luceti but with little success. When she needs a work out she will train in the Battle Dome with her Bat'leth.

10) Their general sense of fashion: She's been experimenting with this. She likes human fashions far better than Klingon and can be seen wearing a variety of clothes from time to time. Everything from feminine things like flowery sundresses to more practical outfits that involve denim or sometimes leather and other durable materials. Whatever makes her feel comfortable really.

11) Do they have any hobbies? Did they come up with these hobbies in Luceti, or was it something they always did?: As most engineers do, she loves to tinker. Especially if she can get her hands on technology she's not familiar with or comes from other worlds. She's also athletic and likes to take up a variety of sports.

12) Has the situation in Luceti changed their view on certain topics/the way they react to different things?: Not significantly. Luceti has brought out her old demons again though, especially those regarding her Klingon heritage. However, her talk with Spock has helped this quite a bit.

13) Do they have a weapon? If so, do they carry it at all times or just under certain circumstances?: She has a Bat'leth that Adela made for her, but she only has it with her if she plans to use it either for training or a fight.

14) Do they have any pets? Would these pets be at their homes, or do they hang out with the character in question?: No. but she's started naming the items that Harry's been bringing home for the house. Such as Tuvok the ceramic frog planter and Paris the gaudy toaster.

15) Who are their neighbors?: None actually. The houses next to hers are empty.

16) Who are their best friends in Luceti? How often do they spend time with them and doing what? She feels closest too those from her own universe, especially Harry of course. Outside of them, she's come to like Luke Skywalker quite a bit. She's not made very many friends though, mostly acquaintances. This needs to change.

17) On the flip side, is there anyone they actively don’t get along with? How do they interact, and would people know about this? None that I can particularly think of. Aside from when she was a full Klingon during a shift, she hasn't had any major negative encounters with anyone as of yet. Well except Kirk that is, but he was being a jerk.

18) Their favorite areas/stores/hang-out locations?: The Battle Dome is probably her favorite location as well as A Shot In the Dark where she likes to get some coffee and do some reading.

19) Do they belong to any clubs or organizations? Which ones? Do they go regularly, or just occasionally? She joined Luceti Projects but that's about it.

20) Wing color and how do they deal with their wings?: They are dark brown like her hair. She finds them annoying and keeps them covered up. Generally just tries to ignore them. About the only time you would see them is if she's wearing a dress or bathing suit or something of the like.

21) Did they change or grow in any way physically since coming to Luceti?: Nope!

22) What do they miss the most from home?: She misses her job and her friends. She also sorely misses 24th century technology.

23) What does their handwriting look like? Do they write the way they talk, or is there a clear difference between the two?: People don't exactly do a lot of writing in the 24th century but it probably looks pretty average. Not too sloppy but not all that elegant either.

24) Is the way they act in person different from the way they act over the journal system?: No not really. She tends to speak her mind whether it be on the journals or face to face.

25) Did they gain/lose any personal goals during their stay in Luceti?: Back on Voyager the goal was to get home. That's... kind of different now. She still intends to get home but this isn't like being on a starship where she can actively participate in getting there. Here there is no means of going anywhere so she's kind of stuck. This is very frustrating for her as she hates to feel helpless.

26) Is Luceti a technological upgrade, or downgrade for them? Have they adapted to these changes well?: Mostly a downgrade. Though there is the Battle Dome which is comparable to a holodeck.

27) FOR STUDENTS: What is their favorite class? What is their least favorite class? What about their general behavior in school?: N/A

28) FOR DRINKERS: What is their favorite drink? What is their least favorite drink? Do they prefer Good Spirits or Cloud Nine? What's their attitude about and while drinking?: She doesn't like to drink. It brings out the worst in her so she avoids it.

29) Do they have any special talents? If so, what are they?: Other than being a technical genius, a formidable competitor in sports, not especially.

30) Have they learned any new skills or abilities in Luceti? If so, what are they? Why and how? Not yet!

31) What kind of habits do they have on drafts? Are they willing to kill or do they prefer to avoid fighting? While she doesn't like to, B'Elanna is willing to kill if she has to. She certainly has no problems with fighting though and doesn't mind knocking some heads in. She though she prefers to use her engineering talents and stick with machines if she can.

32) What kind of habits do they have on missions? What is their reason for going on them? What do they intend to use their points for? Well she's only been on one and she again stuck around the machines doing engineering work, as well as trying to see if her commbadge could send out a distress call. It failed of course. But she intends to use points to bring in technology from home.

33) How long have they been in Luceti? Has that length of time impacted them in any way?: (IE. getting used to the place, not wanting to leave, being less/more inclined to do something about their situation, so on) She's been there for five months. She's getting use to it but she certainly doesn't want to be there and is keeping an eye out for opportunities to do something about her situation. She has every intention to get back to Voyager.

34) How do they unwind and get back to normal after a brutal experiment, event, or draft? (IE. do they spend time on their own, go drink away their troubles, confide in their friends, and so on.) After an experiment where she was fully Klingon, she confided in Spock. But she often takes out her frustrations in the form of beating the crap out of something in the Battle Dome to let off some steam. After that she will sit down with some coffee and a good book. Anything to keep her distracted really.

35) What is their worst experience from an experiment or kidnapping? Were there any that they actually liked? Nothing that she's liked so far, but the most difficult experiment for her was when she was turned fully Klingon and had to face that side of her fully all over again. She was violent and it left her deeply troubled in the end.

36) Anything else you want to note?: B'Elanna really needs more CR and I would welcome any and all ideas for it!

Masaomi Kida 1/2

[personal profile] generalflirt 2014-07-24 05:03 am (UTC)(link)
1) Height: 5'9 (174cm). He's 5'7 (170cm) in canon, but he grew a little bit more since here.

2) Weight: Canonically he's 60kg. Since then he's gotten taller and gained a lot of muscle mass? I assume he's closer to 70kg than he is to 60kh but it's probably in the ballpark of 66kg

3) Eye color/Hair Color: His eyes and hair are both brown! His hair's a darker shade of brown and his eyes are actually a fairly light shade. In a much longer ago era in Luceti (and in canon) he used to dye his hair blonde, but he hasn't in years.

4) Age: He's 20 now, both chronologically and physically. The way his birthday versus how many months he's been here lines up he's about half a year off (so he physically turned 20 in January, but considered himself turning 20 on June 19th),

5) Physical features: Well he's a lot more muscular than his icons imply these days. In canon, the guy has a lot of chest and abdominal muscles under his hoodies as far as we can tell from the novels, but has a rather lanky and awkward build despite being on the taller side. He's both filled on more and committed to heavy work outs for a long time now to make his arms and legs both more visibly muscular and stronger. He's still far from bulging or anything, but there's definition all over. Additionally, he's got several scars: one of them is on his left shoulder, a series of little marks left over from when it was shattered and emergency surgery was performed. There's a large and nasty one on his left abdomen when he was impaled. There's many other smaller ones on his body as well. Oh and his wings are florescent pink I suppose.

6) Voice: His dub voice (Bryce Papenbrook), who I accept as bring solid. His JP voice is actually probably more accurate, being Mamoru Miyano, who has a basically flawless performance even if I can't have a good clip. As that's him when he's like 16 I assume he's gotten a tad deeper than both since, and can throw his voice to be more or less dignified (or sleezey) as needed

7) Who do they live with and how are chores divided in their house/apartment?: He lives with Shikamaru, his Pikachu (Linda), and Shikamaru's cat (Kenta). If you asked Masaomi he would say he does all of them. Realistically, there is a split between himself and Shikamaru, but Masaomi still does do more of them. Shikamaru's cat is cared for entirely by Shikamaru... insofar as it needs to be cared for, it's pretty self-sufficient other than the literbox. They alternate on cooking (when they don't get get meals themselves, they don't have big apartment dinners) and more usually Masaomi is the one doing the cleaning up the apartment type stuff like vacuuming, picking up trash, etc. Shikamaru is probably relegated on dishes and laundry, but (especially lately with him missioning so much) Masaomi has to cover by times.

8) Their favorite (and least favorite, if you want) foods and who does the cooking in their house/apartment?: As mentioned above, they split. But because of both of their training schedules as well as both of them working shifts at the Convenience Store, they really only "cook" breakfast as a general rule. Now and again they might have dinner together, but they usually will just be getting something at the Convenience Store, the vending machines at the Dome, and/or Seventh Heaven. As far as favored and unfavored foods, his canon ones ("eating with cute girls" and "eating without cute girls" respectively) are no help but I've putzed for years on this. I've tended to figure Masaomi is not a picky eater, albeit he might have a preference towards fish and a preference away from deep fried things. He also had a weird thing for microwave burritos at one time.

9) What they do during an average day in Luceti: Masaomi's day tends to consist of any of the following actions in any order on a given day: training Linda on simulations in the Dome, working at the Convenience Store, training himself in a simulated gym at the Dome, hitting up the library for leisurely reads (which might happen in it or just in the square), and doing some personal one on one training/exploration/spars with Shikamaru. The order these happen in can vary and (especially the last two) might not happen on every given day. When he isn't doing those, he'll tend to be either chatting up people in the Square or playing games/watching movies in the Rec Center. He might also go to bug some of his friends at House 11 or (more rarely) House 56. In general, his days begin at about 10AM and end at around 11PM, and in recent months every three days or so sees him ending the day with a short little drink at Good Spirits. Sometimes he mixes this schedule up, to make things more interesting for himself (such as going to HQ), or when he has a goal (such as contacting the spirits).

10) Their general sense of fashion: His most reserved sides go for this or this, but he also has a flair for more gaudy Tokyo-style clothing and colors, with a penchant towards yellows. It really depends what he's doing that day and what sort of mood he's trying to set. When exercising, he tends to only wear a tank top and shorts (though he's also the type of person who then would change out of them before he goes into a social situation), and when he's in a situation where he's fighting he has a whole battle attire set aside. Some days he also makes to dress more classy to make a point or something. When he is in his normal sense of fashion he always has some sort of jewelry on. Whether it be rings, earring (most usually clips, though a few studs and one or two other ones), bracelets (especially one Katara got him), there's some sort of flair involved with him as a general rule.

11) Do they have any hobbies? Did they come up with these hobbies in Luceti, or was it something they always did?: Apart from the aforementioned training/exercise, Masaomi's hobbies are reading, writing, and otherwise trying to understand poetry a little better. This is an interest he had at home, but with nothing else to distract him, he's become a lot more of a classic/romantic lit nerd, reading all sorts of stuff in the library. Aside from that, his big hobby is honestly just being social. He likes to chat up random people and flow through conversations with them. Very recently he's also gotten regularly challenged or challenging with Hilda, so that's becoming a thing.

12) Has the situation in Luceti changed their view on certain topics/the way they react to different things?: Yeah. Really he's gained a lot of understanding about different people's situations? Other people are from harder places and harder worlds than him, and he's tended towards being more cautious about it these days. Furthermore, he's had his whole paradigm on violence go through a rollarcoaster. From avoiding it, to embracing it (and being numbed to it) to his current position of being resigned to it's inevitability but also uncomfortable with just how common it is in drafts and the like. In growing up here, he's probably become a less tacitly/culturally sexist/heteronormative than he would have otherwise been (though both are still there in shadows). Also he's learned a lot about both ninjaworld and Pokémon, so there's that too.

13) Do they have a weapon? If so, do they carry it at all times or just under certain circumstances?: He does! when he's just out and about he does tend to have a summoning scroll with some knives and/or more weapons on him somewhere now that he's worked out how to use them and he also almost always has Linda either out or in her pokéball. When in a situation where he's aware he's going into combat, he actually has a rather extensive arsenal. He's considered increasing on it too, lately, by learning more about working with guns (though he's already done that more than he ever expected) and/or a one handed sword. He's not gotten to that, though.

14) Do they have any pets? Would these pets be at their homes, or do they hang out with the character in question?: Linda! His partner, a Pikachu who is probably due to become a Raichu soon enough. She's almost always with him unless she's arguing with him, either out and about or dozing in her pokéball in his pocket.

relictusdeus: (A taste)

Isaac

[personal profile] relictusdeus 2014-07-24 04:37 am (UTC)(link)
1) Height: Purely a guess, but around 6'3 - perhaps a little more when he's rockin' those high-heeled thigh-high boots. That's right, this is CastleVania art by Ayami Kojima we're talking about.

2) Weight: No idea. But I'd describe him as being leanly built. He’s got that wiry strength to him.

3) Eye color/Hair Color: Very red hair. The reddest hair ever. His irises are white and he's got this naturally occurring faint red eyeshadow going on. He was born with it or maybe it's maybelline?

4) Age: 26 in canon, 28 in Luceti. He doesn’t exactly know the day he was born because he was saved as baby, but it’s sometime in December.

5) Physical features: Tattoos that start at his forehead and go on and on, front and back. He has a number of piercings including three over the left side of his ribs, about nine over the right bicep, three under his navel, and a great deal in R-rated places. There are scars camouflaged by the tattoos, but you’d have to be very close to notice them of course. Thanks to circumstances having to do with the draft in Zompania, he now has a scar across the length of nose and a sharp, vertical one slicing his upper lip and catching a bit of the lower one.

6) Voice: Liam O’Brien is the VA. From vicious snarls to a cultured, lilting drawl, Isaac has it all!

7) Who do they live with and how are chores divided in their house/apartment?: He lives alone in a ‘renovated’ cave in the woods. Inside it is a series of tunnels and chambers furnished to be castle-like, with carpets, paintings, and candles ensconced in the walls. He got his devils to help out a lot with the construction years ago.

8) Their favorite (and least favorite, if you want) foods and who does the cooking in their house/apartment?:

He cooks for himself, though doesn’t make a habit of spending a long time in the kitchen. His favourite food is cheese (with good, bittersweet chocolate as a close second). Red wine’s always nice.

9) What they do during an average day in Luceti: Train with his devils, hunt, carve, sketch things, study gems/magic, experiment, people-watch, dance with himself, flirt and snark over the journal or in person, and dwell on his miserable life. He's very, very restless.

10) Their general sense of fashion: Basically those tight, low-riding leather pants from canon, thigh-high boots, and leather gauntlets with the addition of a black, collared shirt that laces at the front and the sleeves. No metal collar or slim pieces of armour, although he will wear a leather breastplate when he seets fit. A poncho-like cloak is donned in colder weather. LEATHER LEATHER LEATHER BLAH BLAH He was clearly history’s first punk-goth dude.

11) Do they have any hobbies? Did they come up with these hobbies in Luceti, or was it something they always did?: Carving and sculpting things. Also, forging armours and weapons. These are all hobbies from back home. Smutting it up would definitely be a hobby if he had bedfellows. More crap, if you're curious.

12) Has the situation in Luceti changed their view on certain topics/the way they react to different things?: He’s *not* the villain he was in canon. Or any villain now, really, now that he’s curse-free. He talks to people with a little less pre-programmed resentment now. And while he's beginning to think more about the people around him and reconsider his approach every now and again, trust issues will continue to be a problem and recent disappointments mean he'll scoff even harder at the subject of love and friendship. These are largely unattainable things for him.

13) Do they have a weapon? If so, do they carry it at all times or just under certain circumstances?: He always carries at least one dagger with him. I suspect he'd also have the Chauve-Souris or his Laser Blade with him almost all the time if not ALL the time, on his back.

14) Do they have any pets? Would these pets be at their homes, or do they hang out with the character in question?: Baco, the gargoyle-dragon thing that Hector made him. And while they’re not pets, he’s made a number of chimera which he has set loose in Luceti. Maybe you'll find a spiderpede in your shoe.

15) Who are their neighbors?: Woodland fauna. And Hector's a ways off in his awesome cabin.

16) Who are their best friends in Luceti? How often do they spend time with them and doing what? Well… Isaac doesn’t really have a best friend. And things are tricky with Hector right now. But he still talks with Zev every now and again.

17) On the flip side, is there anyone they actively don’t get along with? How do they interact, and would people know about this? Many people who don’t like Isaac much. He greets them with a defiant smile and uses his purring drawl regardless.

18) Their favorite areas/stores/hang-out locations?: Rooftops at night, Good Spirits, the woods, the highest points in the village. He tends to enter the village more often in the evening than during the day. Old habits die hard.

19) Do they belong to any clubs or organizations? Which ones? Do they go regularly, or just occasionally? n/a

20) Wing color and how do they deal with their wings?: They’re red as his hair and he keeps them out of sight. No desire to have them be a glaring weakness and all. He has torn out feathers in fits of frustration but they’ve since grown back.

21) Did they change or grow in any way physically since coming to Luceti?: Barring new tats and piercings, his hair is longer overall and he’s got nose and lip scars.

22) What do they miss the most from home?: Julia. But she would end up leaving again, he figures, so it's best he doesn't see her at all.

23) What does their handwriting look like? Do they write the way they talk, or is there a clear difference between the two?: He does write similarly to how he speaks, but all his chuckles and laughs and pauses don’t quite translate into text. His penmanship can be basically described as neat cursive.

24) Is the way they act in person different from the way they act over the journal system?: Nah, he's equally slick, snarky, and salacious in person as he is over the journal. He prefers face to face encounters. You can commence waggling those eyebrows.

25) Did they gain/lose any personal goals during their stay in Luceti?: He was dead before Luceti, and sadly, he’s without major goals atm. He's not used to this -- usually he's had thoughts of revenge to power him through.

26) Is Luceti a technological upgrade, or downgrade for them? Have they adapted to these changes well?: Definite upgrade. The journal is the most useful thing to him and still fascinates him. He has no electricity in his home so he isn't exactly 'with the times'.

27) FOR STUDENTS: What is their favorite class? What is their least favorite class? What about their general behavior in school?: n/a

28) FOR DRINKERS: What is their favorite drink? What is their least favorite drink? Do they prefer Good Spirits or Cloud Nine? What's their attitude about and while drinking?: Red wine and tuica are his drinks of choice. Champagne is kind of boring to him. He rarely binge drinks (that being only if his emotions are really out of whack) and has a high tolerance for alcohol. First comes easier laughter, and then sadness and dissatisfaction with his life tends to increase along with the consumption of alcohol if he’s left alone.

29) Do they have any special talents? If so, what are they?: Creating, taming, and commanding demonic life. Teleporting, unsettling Loki (?), and forging armour and equipment on the go through some snappy magical process. Flexibility, taking ridiculous amounts of damage and coming back at you with a grin, and making regular weapons do strange things, like having a plain short sword spin through the air before snapping back into his grip like a boomerang. Also, making people feel awkward with a single glance.

30) Have they learned any new skills or abilities in Luceti? If so, what are they? Why and how? He’s been studying each one of the elemental spirits. He’s left Nala for last, probably because it’s easiest. Isaac’s always working on novel ways to manipulate and apply his powers.

31) What kind of habits do they have on drafts? Are they willing to kill or do they prefer to avoid fighting? Very willing to kill - he's all for the chaos and the thrill of battle. Given his years in Dracula’s service as a general, showing enemies mercy is a pretty damn foreign concept. It's kill or be killed on both sides, as far as he's concerned. He *has* avoided fighting at times, though... and by avoid, I mean crept up on someone from behind and jammed a dagger into their back.

32) What kind of habits do they have on missions? What is their reason for going on them? What do they intend to use their points for? He likes combat missions and taking orders only from himself. Points are good – he’s thinking about purchasing elemental rings and other accessories with them.

33) How long have they been in Luceti? Has that length of time impacted them in any way?: At his current canon point, he has been around since March of 2012. The power-dampening effect of the barrier makes him feel useless at times and he’s often unhappy for no small number of reasons, though he does his best to hide it. It’s a long story and he’d rather not get into it.

34) How do they unwind and get back to normal after a brutal experiment, event, or draft?
Because he does suffer from a recurring sense of self-loathing, loneliness, and frustration with his existence and at what he's lost, he has a tendency to engage in self-harm to regain a sense of control. It’s typically how he finds a sense of freedom when things are hurting very badly inside. He drinks a little, too, and then will snark and laugh with people as if entirely unaffected and/or poke at their wounds. Being able to fake composure is important to him. He doesn't want to be seen at his worst -- in the environment from which he came, he imagines he'd only have been mocked and thought as a lesser being for it. There are few, few people he’d share anything with, and even then he tends to feel rather uncomfortable with the idea.

35) What is their worst experience from an experiment or kidnapping? Were there any that they actually liked?

The worst? Oh boy. Any time when he has been possessed (Eg. Apep, Twila) was pretty damn bad. It’s a sore point with him given canon crap having to do with Dracula and the curse. Some shifts were fun to him like that Space Opera/Gangster Land/Ice Age event where he got to scare some samurai and steal their swords. He likes his mischief!

36) Anything else you want to note?:

- It bears repeating that Isaac is not the villain he was in canon and he’s spent two curse-free years in Luceti. He won’t hurt or attempt to kill anyone for no reason at all, and in the past two years he’s only killed two Luceti folk – one out of mercy and another attacking him as a vampire.

- I STILL ought to put up a headcanon page for him because canon reeeeeally doesn't offer much in the ways of juicy details and there’s a lot I’ve built up around what canon suggests.

- With Dracula's magic still flowing through him, anyone who can sense auras/magic will note that he gives off demonic vibes.

- He flirts whether or not he's actually attracted to your character. Mostly dudes, but he'll try the ladies too on occasion. If you'd rather he didn't, you can hit up his Opt-Out thingy on his journal. It's no problem.

- He's always open for business with tattooing and making equipment / something cool, or whatever

1) Height: 4'9"

2) Weight: 112 lbs (her body fat percentage is at 5% though so there's that)

3) Eye color/Hair Color: Red hair and eyes, though the eyes are meant to be a little darker shade. The anime has a tendency to show them both as pink though so I like to clarify on that.

4) Age: 14 years old, though she might appear a bit malnourished for her age.

5) Physical features: She has scars from her shackles around her lower legs. Sometimes if she's really emotional, she might accidentally crack things around her due to applying extra pressure (like stomping into the ground).

6) Voice: Click! CW: Bleeding from the eyes towards the end.

7) Who do they live with and how are chores divided in their house/apartment?: Undecided right now, she just kind of hangs out wherever.

8) Their favorite (and least favorite, if you want) foods and who does the cooking in their house/apartment?: Her favorite food is fish and she dislikes corn. Most of the cooking she does is out in the wilderness on her own.

9) What they do during an average day in Luceti: Right now she's just starting to wet her feet in the going-ons of Luceti so she can be found in the forest or watching people from a distance in the village.

10) Their general sense of fashion: Rags... Simple things really. She's probably still sporting her original cotton sundress from arrival.

11) Do they have any hobbies? Did they come up with these hobbies in Luceti, or was it something they always did?: Training her muscles and learning to fight in different ways. She hasn't developed any new hobbies in Luceti yet.

12) Has the situation in Luceti changed their view on certain topics/the way they react to different things?: Right now she's feeling all sorts of loved which is strange considering she was a slave back home. Being able to make friends is a new experience as well.

13) Do they have a weapon? If so, do they carry it at all times or just under certain circumstances?: Yes, but she hasn't recovered it yet. For the most part, she is her own weapon. For example.

14) Do they have any pets? Would these pets be at their homes, or do they hang out with the character in question?: N/A.

15) Who are their neighbors?: N/A.

16) Who are their best friends in Luceti? How often do they spend time with them and doing what? N/A, unless you count the conversation between Rock Lee and herself LOL.

17) On the flip side, is there anyone they actively don’t get along with? How do they interact, and would people know about this? N/A... she hasn't managed to make any enemies yet.

18) Their favorite areas/stores/hang-out locations?: The forest.

19) Do they belong to any clubs or organizations? Which ones? Do they go regularly, or just occasionally? N/A.

20) Wing color and how do they deal with their wings?: Fiery orange like a phoenix. She's actually quite happy with them because she's called herself the wings for her friends back home and now she has them to prove it. A good idea of the color they represent can be found in this clip.

21) Did they change or grow in any way physically since coming to Luceti?: N/A.

22) What do they miss the most from home?: Her companions obviously. Mor doesn't make friends easily so she's a little homesick for them and worries how they will feel knowing she's off having a completely different adventure than the one they agreed upon.

23) What does their handwriting look like? Do they write the way they talk, or is there a clear difference between the two?: Morgiana's handwriting is very sloppy and doesn't make sense because she's incapable of reading/writing.

24) Is the way they act in person different from the way they act over the journal system?: No, she is very much a honest person with how she portrays herself. The idea hasn't even occurred to her that she can act differently.

25) Did they gain/lose any personal goals during their stay in Luceti?: Sort of? She's not able to visit the Dark Continent (her homeland) now that she's here, but she can still keep to her promise to explore as well as grow in strength.

26) Is Luceti a technological upgrade, or downgrade for them? Have they adapted to these changes well?: It's a major technological upgrade for her... however, she hasn't been inside a house yet to see this for herself.

27) FOR STUDENTS: What is their favorite class? What is their least favorite class? What about their general behavior in school?: N/A, even though she should be in school.

28) FOR DRINKERS: What is their favorite drink? What is their least favorite drink? Do they prefer Good Spirits or Cloud Nine? What's their attitude about and while drinking?: N/A, even though she probably would drink if given the opportunity.

29) Do they have any special talents? If so, what are they?: She's really good at fighting??? :D She has also excellent hearing and vision.

30) Have they learned any new skills or abilities in Luceti? If so, what are they? Why and how? Other than how to use the journal a bit, not much.

31) What kind of habits do they have on drafts? Are they willing to kill or do they prefer to avoid fighting? N/A yet, but she will probably fight. She's already sworn to end all the fighting by handling it herself so there's that.

32) What kind of habits do they have on missions? What is their reason for going on them? What do they intend to use their points for? N/A.

33) How long have they been in Luceti? Has that length of time impacted them in any way?: Not even two weeks yet which is why my meme game is weak.

34) How do they unwind and get back to normal after a brutal experiment, event, or draft? N/A, though she likely wouldn't be able to unwind. She would just go into recluse mode.

35) What is their worst experience from an experiment or kidnapping? Were there any that they actually liked? N/A.

36) Anything else you want to note?: Trivia time! It's actually difficult for Morgiana to perform tasks that require precision because she's sort of clumsy. For example, she can't cook well because she measures by sight instead of exact numbers. Don't ever let her cook for you B)
niceguypose: (freaking out)

Rock Lee!

[personal profile] niceguypose 2014-07-24 01:13 pm (UTC)(link)
1) Height: 172 cm - about 5'7.7".

2) Weight: Around 120 lbs.

3) Eye color/Hair Color: Black and black!

4) Age: So he's been in Luceti for two years now and turned 18 a month after joining (it turned out his canon point is right before Naruto's birthday, and Lee's birthday is the month after) so technically he'll be 20 in August. But his age was reset by a canon update in March 2013, so physically he'll still be 19 until next April-ish.

In short: mentally turning 20 next month; physically 19 until next April; and officially celebrates his birthday in November.

5) Physical features: Here is a full body image for reference. Nothing unusual or distinctive here, right?

Okay, maybe his eyebrows are bit most distinctly bushier than most. Perhaps his hair's bowlcut, with its mysterious gleam, is very distincive. And maybe his eyes, so wide with beady pupils and stunning eyelashes, can help to lead the image of an intense stare.

His arms are almost always wrapped in bandages, to help with his training. His hands are heavily callused from the intensity of his training.

6) Voice: His dub voice is the worst ever, and I use his Japanese voice as a basis for everything. Here are some omakes (1, 2, 3) and here is an amv summing up most of his pre-timeskip life with lots of voiced clips.

7) Who do they live with and how are chores divided in their house/apartment?: He currently lives with Neji Hyuuga. He is probably very eager to handle the majority of the chores himself and tries to make challenges out of them.

8) Their favorite (and least favorite, if you want) foods and who does the cooking in their house/apartment?: His official favorite foods are "medium spicy curry rice and curry pilaf". He has a general zest for curry in general. He does not have a least favorite food as he considers it impossible to dislike any kind of food (although Erica Fontaine's cooking was a big test in that regard). He has probably cooked moreso especially since he started working at Seventh Heaven, although it's very possible that Lee and Neji are each responsible for their own meals.

9) What they do during an average day in Luceti: Trains forever.

...Okay, he does some other things. He wakes up early and during the mornings, he runs taijutsu classes in the Battle Dome. He also runs a shift at Seventh Heaven sometime in the afternoon or evening. He may also find time to spend trying to research at the library, and when school is in session he will attend it during the morning/afternoon.

Aside from that... yeah, pretty much everything is training or activities that he amps up into training.

10) Their general sense of fashion: Green. He really isn't ever without his canon get-up, inspired by the fashion of Gai-Sensei: a green jumpsuit with his Konoha flak jacket and orange leg warmers. There's a chance that he may have some extra clothes lying around, and that they are fittingly dorky.

11) Do they have any hobbies? Did they come up with these hobbies in Luceti, or was it something they always did?: Training. Training's his hobby. Otherwise he generally likes to spend time with friends. They're pretty much things he always did.

12) Has the situation in Luceti changed their view on certain topics/the way they react to different things?: Lee has more or less maintained the same beliefs over time. Welll, he did learn about holidays like Christmas and wound up adapting his own view of Santa Claus as an impossible rival for him to overcome. Otherwise, for the most part he has been able to adapt his own views to this world.

13) Do they have a weapon? If so, do they carry it at all times or just under certain circumstances?: He has a few ninja weapons, such as the basic kunais and a pair of nunchaku, but he only sometimes carries them on them and almost never uses them. He prefers to use his own physical strengt to get through most situations.

14) Do they have any pets? Would these pets be at their homes, or do they hang out with the character in question?: Yes. He has a squirrel that was actually gifted from canon, and Lee decided to name him Taijutsu. He hangs out with Lee whenever his existence is remembered.

15) Who are their neighbors?: Ninjas ninjas everywhere, not a drop to drink. Living on the fourth floor (aka ninja floor) of the Flame Building, they're next door to Sakura's apartment. Other floormates include Temari, Riku and Shikamaru-Masaomi.

16) Who are their best friends in Luceti? How often do they spend time with them and doing what? Some of his best friends are those from his homeworld such as Sakura, Neji and Shikamaru, and there's also Temari whom he's not as close with. He has also been building up other friends such as Bulla, Natalia, Erica Fontaine, Minako, Masaomi, Jean, Hilda, Crystal, Rin, Morgiana, Cilan, Ash, Silver, Haru, Quinn, Riku, Rikku, Little Mac and Nagisa. He wishes he was friends with Vegeta. He spends time with them whenever he sees them and very often likes to train with them, although he's also likely to indulge in their hobbies.

17) On the flip side, is there anyone they actively don’t get along with? How do they interact, and would people know about this? He tries to get along with Vegeta, but there's quite some friction there, from the differences in their demeanor/morality to the way shifts have messed with them in the past. Lee still looks up to Vegeta as a potential father figure despite his unyouthly nature. And with Perona... well shifts and misunderstandings have let bad blood accumulate to the point where she pretty much hates him, even if Lee still tries to get in her good graces. People could possibly know about either - Lee and Vegeta can be quite loud, while Lee and Perona had a mistletoe incident in the middle of Seventh Heaven last Christmas. There is also Itachi, who is from his own world, where he is kind of a criminal. Lee sees that Itachi means no harm here, but he still can be tense about talking to him and avoids him when he can.

18) Their favorite areas/stores/hang-out locations?: He likes wide open areas of the forest for training purposes as well as tranquility. He likes the Battle Dome for the challenge. Seventh Heaven is a place where he likes to both work and hang out. The library for study purposes. And as a romantic he is fond of cherry blossom hill.

19) Do they belong to any clubs or organizations? Which ones? Do they go regularly, or just occasionally? He is technically a member of and a recruier for the art club, and he attends the meetings when they come.

20) Wing color and how do they deal with their wings?: They're green as his jumpsuit. He flaunts them proudly and tries to stimulate them as much as possible, determined against reason to obtain true flight.

21) Did they change or grow in any way physically since coming to Luceti?: For the most part, I believe that he's done growing and has more or less stayed the same. He probably makes sure to maintain his hair length regularly, possibly with the help of any of his friends.

22) What do they miss the most from home?: He misses Gai-Sensei and his guidance more than anything currently. In terms of locations, he misses Konoha as it was before Pain's attack, when life was relatively peaceful within the village.

23) What does their handwriting look like? Do they write the way they talk, or is there a clear difference between the two?: It is very formal, tight and neat, but written at such a speed that it can look scattered. He very much writes the way he talks and will even write extra exclamation points. He just can't write out grunts, unfortunately.

24) Is the way they act in person different from the way they act over the journal system?: For the most part, he can be as outrageous and loud in person as he is in the journals.

25) Did they gain/lose any personal goals during their stay in Luceti?: He's still set on his original goals - to make it as a hardworking ninja, to overcome his rivals, to protect those precious to him - but he has gained some others. Due to Neji being dead back home, he is set on finding a way to preserve his life upon bringing him back home. He doesn't want to settle for just finding a way back home for the living people. He also wants to train his wings to acquire true flight. Basically, RP pipe dreams.

26) Is Luceti a technological upgrade, or downgrade for them? Have they adapted to these changes well?: It's an upgrade in a lot of ways. The Naruto world is kind of a weird mish-mash of olden Japan and random contemporary technology, but a majority of what's in Luceti has been an upgrade to him. Some things may be baffling for him to learn, but he has adapted to the Battle Dome in particular very well, and is good at setting up merciless scenarios.

27) FOR STUDENTS: What is their favorite class? What is their least favorite class? What about their general behavior in school?: He considers every class to be his favorite! And no least favorite because he's always learning! He is generally a well-behaved stickler for the rules in school. He is diligent in his studies but doesn't think before he speaks and can often ask repetitive or obvious questions. He channels his bold energy into raising his hand to make points or ask questions often. But his energy also causes him to get jittery from having to sit for so long. Maybe he sometimes excuses himself to run a few laps.

28) FOR DRINKERS: What is their favorite drink? What is their least favorite drink? Do they prefer Good Spirits or HQ? What's their attitude about and while drinking?: He avoids drinking at all costs - if he drinks even a drop, it induces a drunken fist rampage.

29) Do they have any special talents? If so, what are they?: Rock Lee is notable for his lack of special talents, at least of any supernatural nature. From mediocre beginnings, however, he has trained rigorously to be a master of taijutsu, which is basically hand to hand combat. He has incredible physical strength and speed just from his training. He does also have some special techniques imparted by Gai-Sensei: the forbidden moves which involve opening the Eight Chakra Gates. These Gates, of which he can open six, put his body through incredible stress while multiplying his strength and speed.

30) Have they learned any new skills or abilities in Luceti? If so, what are they? Why and how? Not explicitly. But he likely has been doing what he can to brush up on other fighting styles. He is also currently trying to learn underwater breathing in order to play blitzball.

31) What kind of habits do they have on drafts? Are they willing to kill or do they prefer to avoid fighting? Rock Lee makes rounds to find his friends and guarantee their safety. He is largely a follower and will take more or less any orders that are given to him. He is willing to kill, but he is also hesitant about it and will save it for a last resort. He is good at immobilizing enemies with crushing taijutsu blows, however.

32) What kind of habits do they have on missions? What is their reason for going on them? What do they intend to use their points for? Rock Lee tries to follow his missions to the letter - it's something that has familiarity to him, even though he was taught to do missions for Konoha only. He goes on them to experience the outside world and to challenge himself. He is uncertain of how to use his points.

33) How long have they been in Luceti? Has that length of time impacted them in any way?: He has been in Luceti for over two years now. In a lot of ways he's grown used to it and maintained his optimism, even when facing hard truths such as Neji's death. And with all of the friends he has lost over time, especially the blow of losing Rapunzel. He remains determined to live his life in the way Gai-Sensei would want it and to keep getting stronger while continuing to try to be happy. Over time, he has clung to the image of Gai-Sensei more and more, trying to grow to be more like him. And when Naruto was last here, they hatched a very shounen scheme together to escape this world and to bring the dead back with them so they could be alive again. Despite Naruto's absence, Lee still holds onto that dream as hope for Neji. In some ways, he's become more blindly optimistic despite everything.

34) How do they unwind and get back to normal after a brutal experiment, event, or draft? He just tries to train his way through it all. Sometimes he may find comfort in one of his friends.

35) What is their worst experience from an experiment or kidnapping? Were there any that they actually liked? He mostly dislikes the Valentines and mistletoe experiments because of how they mess with emotions and make him feel guilty about they make him act towards others afterwards. He actually did like the shift which made him part of Vegeta's family, as well as the shift in which he sang a romantic duet with Rapunzel once, but he still feels guilt about liking those because the associated feelings are associated in falsehood.

36) Anything else you want to note?: He wants to fight everyone.

Ginia Solana

[personal profile] whiskytraitorfirefight 2014-07-24 05:04 pm (UTC)(link)
1) Height: 5'6"

2) Weight: 135

3) Eye color/Hair Color: Eye color and hair color are both dark brown. As a note, Ginia's PB has a birthmark in her right eye, Ginia does not have that. Ginia usually keeps her hair back in a ponytail or a tight bun if she's training or working, sometimes keeps it down if she's going about her day.

4) Age: 38, does look a bit older than her PB shows.

5) Physical features: Heavy scarring on her left arm from wrist up to elbow, burn scars and small cuts on her back (right side), one reason Ginia is almost always in long-sleeved shirts. Nose has been broken before so the bridge is a bit crooked. Overall frame is lean and with good muscle definition around her legs and arms.

6) Voice: N/A, but here is her PB's voice and what I would use for her voice if she ever speaks. For the voice for her phone, think of a voice like Siri or Google Now.

7) Who do they live with and how are chores divided in their house/apartment?: Ginia currently lives with Evan Brown. Since they're both pretty independent, there really isn't any division between chores. They both clean up after themselves, though Ginia's more likely to keep the kitchen clean and cook. Laundry is on an individual basis, though if one person is already doing a load, I imagine they combine.

8) Their favorite (and least favorite, if you want) foods and who does the cooking in their house/apartment?: Ginia absolutely loves pizza and is really sad there's no good pizza in the village. After that it's definitely baked goods and sweets in general. Major sweet tooth, also likes fresh fruit, or things with a lot of flavor. Tastes lean toward Italian generally with Japanese food as a close second. Dislikes really spicy things or anything too bitter. Generally does most of the cooking mostly since she likes cooking.

9) What they do during an average day in Luceti: There’s a rough schedule that can be found here, but to expand:

-Usually an early riser, by 6 or so, though sometimes she sleeps in. Used to walk dogs with Kakashi, but now she lets Laika out in the morning, then goes on a longer walk in the afternoon after training.
-For New Feather restocking, she borrows a horse from the stables (she’s taking a liking to Babushka) and usually covers the two south of the village.
-Before heading in to work at HQ, that’s when Ginia gets all of her shopping and general errands done. Most days she’ll take a quick hour nap or go soak in the hot springs for a bit. Grocery shopping tends to be Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.
-Works nights at HQ, usually eats dinner while she’s there. If things are pretty dead late into the night, she’ll head home early, otherwise she sticks it out.

10) Their general sense of fashion: Ginia’s icons give a fairly accurate representation of her fashion (short-sleeves aside). Usually in jeans or cargo pants, a button-down blouse or other nice casual top, jacket depending on the weather or what she’s doing that day. Tends to favor cool to neutral colors though has a few brightly colored things. Keeps a fairly professional appearance (clean, tidy) but also likes things she can move easily in.

11) Do they have any hobbies? Did they come up with these hobbies in Luceti, or was it something they always did?: Reading, listening to music, playing the piano, training, watching movies/TV shows on her laptop, and playing tablet games on her laptop are her usual hobbies. Since arriving in Luceti, she’s also dabbled a bit in gardening (to little success).

12) Has the situation in Luceti changed their view on certain topics/the way they react to different things?: It’s definitely given her an interesting perspective on other worlds and situations in comparison to her world and situation. It’s also made her realize how much her world sucks, especially in comparison to other Earths. Overall, not too many changes in how she sees things.

13) Do they have a weapon? If so, do they carry it at all times or just under certain circumstances?: Ginia carries two things on her at all time: a boot knife and a Green Beret Knife. She also has a Glock 19, but she only takes it with her on drafts and otherwise keeps it locked up in her apartment, and a machete which is mission/draft use only.

14) Do they have any pets? Would these pets be at their homes, or do they hang out with the character in question?: Ginia has a border collie/Australian shepherd mix named Laika that’s super friendly and loves being pet. Most of the time Laika can be found alongside Ginia, though she stays at home when Ginia’s working or training.

15) Who are their neighbors?: Alas, no one on her floor. So lonely. Yoruichi lives on the floor above.

16) Who are their best friends in Luceti? How often do they spend time with them and doing what? Evan Brown. Canonmate, partner in crime. They train together and goof off together and generally enjoy each other’s company without it being too stifling. After that it’s hard to say as there are a lot of people Ginia likes but doesn’t consider friends. Allies yes, friends no. (Give her more time, she’ll eventually come around on making friends.)

17) On the flip side, is there anyone they actively don’t get along with? How do they interact, and would people know about this? Nope.

18) Their favorite areas/stores/hang-out locations?: The hot springs, very relaxing and soothing, though she tries to go when there wouldn’t be too many people up there. Also likes the bakery and the coffee shop and usually pops by both places in the afternoons (baked goods and a hot chocolate). The Battle Dome is another place Ginia can be found at every day, either training or playing around in simulations.

19) Do they belong to any clubs or organizations? Which ones? Do they go regularly, or just occasionally? None at this point.

20) Wing color and how do they deal with their wings?: Wings are dark blue with black flecks, she usually keeps them covered.

21) Did they change or grow in any way physically since coming to Luceti?: She’s put on some muscle weight from training, arms and legs especially.

22) What do they miss the most from home?: Ginia knew (and planned) on dying so there aren’t too many regrets in that regard, but with Evan here, she does miss other people from home. Erika, though she feels a lot of guilt in killing her partner. Avery, Lucian, and their kids since Ginia feels bad she was never able to meet her niece and nephew. Some locations, though she’s taken to recreating them in the Battle Dome. But she’s largely at peace with never seeing her world again.

23) What does their handwriting look like? Do they write the way they talk, or is there a clear difference between the two?: Ginia’s handwriting is very neat and precise. Legible block letters, very little flourishes to keep it clear. She picks and chooses her words, but definitely speaks more casually around people she’s comfortable with.

24) Is the way they act in person different from the way they act over the journal system?: Not too many differences, though Ginia does put on a bit of a polite and kind front on the journals and in person. To people that know her a bit better, she lets that slide slightly or speaks more bluntly.

25) Did they gain/lose any personal goals during their stay in Luceti?: Ginia died in her world and planned on going out dying, so she arrived in Luceti without any goals. Since then she’s slowly begun working on enjoying life and trying to be a better person.

26) Is Luceti a technological upgrade, or downgrade for them? Have they adapted to these changes well?: The Battle Dome and teleporters are definitely an upgrade, but overall the village is pretty neutral. Running water, electricity, not much more she needs.

3) Eye color/Hair Color: Al Bhed green eyes. (Swirly pupil), and bright blond hair.

4) Age: 17, almost 18

5) Physical features: Mostly just her eyes. Her hair grows an an accelerated rate too, but that's 'unofficially' said.

6) Voice: Couldn't find a short one with only her voice.

7) Who do they live with and how are chores divided in their house/apartment?: She lives alone, so she does everything. She can do it all. 'Cept cook.

8) Their favorite (and least favorite, if you want) foods and who does the cooking in their house/apartment?: Favorite foods would have to be sweets, least...anything bitter. (I can imagine her going 'bleh' to a lot of food.) And...she can't cook.

9) What they do during an average day in Luceti: Be social. She would die if she couldn't go outside each day. Now that it's summer though she can be found by water at most times.

10) Their general sense of fashion: UHM...To anybody but her? It probably seems a little odd. She doesn't do the normal Al Bhed thing and cover up EVERYTHING. But when it gets colder she gets into normal clothes to keep warm like anyone else. She just likes BRIGHT colors.

11) Do they have any hobbies? Did they come up with these hobbies in Luceti, or was it something they always did?: Besides being open to happily teach people Blitzball, she doesn't have a hobby, no.

12) Has the situation in Luceti changed their view on certain topics/the way they react to different things?: I...don't think so.

13) Do they have a weapon? If so, do they carry it at all times or just under certain circumstances?: At all times she has her thieves knives. Hooked openly to her back in the summer, but she hides them under shirts when it gets colder out.

14) Do they have any pets? Would these pets be at their homes, or do they hang out with the character in question?: No pets for Rikku. For the best really. It would probably end up being taught how to steal things.

15) Who are their neighbors?: Well there's only two people on the same floor as her. Cliff and his buddy.

16) Who are their best friends in Luceti? How often do they spend time with them and doing what? Sadly she hasn't gotten THAT close to anybody. Maybe Rock Lee and Seventeen. She's still mad at Masaomi.

17) On the flip side, is there anyone they actively don’t get along with? How do they interact, and would people know about this? She hasn't ticked anyone off yet!! YET.

18) Their favorite areas/stores/hang-out locations?: The food places, and places with enough water ti swim in. Oh, and the library when she gets bored.

19) Do they belong to any clubs or organizations? Which ones? Do they go regularly, or just occasionally? Nope and nope.

20) Wing color and how do they deal with their wings?: Same color and design as her eyes. She actually likes them now that she's used to them. But she quite often forgets that they are there.

21) Did they change or grow in any way physically since coming to Luceti?: ...Her hair has gotten longer..?

22) What do they miss the most from home?: Her family...well, her brother and Yuna, and Paine, and Buddy, and Shinra, and...all her friends.

23) What does their handwriting look like? Do they write the way they talk, or is there a clear difference between the two?: Loopy handwriting, and it does mimic the way she talks. (She will even write 'uhm'.

24) Is the way they act in person different from the way they act over the journal system?: She's the same!

25) Did they gain/lose any personal goals during their stay in Luceti?: Not...really. Or I can't think of anything.

26) Is Luceti a technological upgrade, or downgrade for them? Have they adapted to these changes well?: DOWNGRADE. She would like her machina back please.

27) FOR STUDENTS: What is their favorite class? What is their least favorite class? What about their general behavior in school?: N/A

28) FOR DRINKERS: What is their favorite drink? What is their least favorite drink? Do they prefer Good Spirits or Cloud Nine? What's their attitude about and while drinking?: N/A

29) Do they have any special talents? If so, what are they?: Just her way of changing between fighting styles with her dresspheres I suppose.

30) Have they learned any new skills or abilities in Luceti? If so, what are they? Why and how? She's learning the Filial magic. First it was just so she wouldn't freeze, but now she likes not having to rely on her spheres as much.

31) What kind of habits do they have on drafts? Are they willing to kill or do they prefer to avoid fighting? She will always hesitate to kill ANYONE, so she's unhappy if she has to go on them. And her habits depend on what's going on in the draft.

32) What kind of habits do they have on missions? What is their reason for going on them? What do they intend to use their points for? She won't do them often, but she doesn't really know what she's gonna do with points. She'll think of something eventually.

33) How long have they been in Luceti? Has that length of time impacted them in any way?: Half a year I think, or so...or two thirds of one. She still wants to go home, but she finds all of the people here interesting.(She's a bit of a people watcher.)

34) How do they unwind and get back to normal after a brutal experiment, event, or draft? She'll whine, of course. But if it's extra bad, that's the only time she'll stay quiet. And that's when she'll start doing things that remind her of home.

35) What is their worst experience from an experiment or kidnapping? Were there any that they actually liked? Probably this dead body clean-up will be the worst, and she'll be wishing she could have her memories taken away again..?

36) Anything else you want to note?: She needs more friends. :-;

1) Height: 5'4" or so, fairly average.

2) Weight: Average, I said!

3) Eye color/Hair Color: Light blue/blonde.

4) Age: Who knows! She's somewhere in her late teens/early 20s.

5) Physical features: Mostly her eyes. She and her twin brother 17 have the same eye color.

6) Voice:
Enjoy. This is Meredith McCoy, btw, the one who did her voice in the original DBZ cut. Her VA in Kai is Colleen Clinkenbeard. I'm fonder of Meredith's deeper voice.

7) Who do they live with and how are chores divided in their house/apartment?: She lives with her twin brother 17 and they do the chores via 18 ignoring things on principal until either 17 breaks down and does it or she gives in.

8) Their favorite (and least favorite, if you want) foods and who does the cooking in their house/apartment?: Heavily spicy or overly sweet. Also they're androids, they eat once in a blue moon.

9) What they do during an average day in Luceti: Train in the Battle Dome, shop, take long walks in the woods. Sometimes she reads.

10) Their general sense of fashion: 18 is heavily into fashion and tends to like more modern things. It's mostly casual wear and pants that are easy to move in.

11) Do they have any hobbies? Did they come up with these hobbies in Luceti, or was it something they always did?: She shops. And yeah, it was something she always did.

12) Has the situation in Luceti changed their view on certain topics/the way they react to different things?: She's come to accept that they ought to work with Vegeta and the rest of them, despite disliking Vegeta himself. And she's come to consider Krillin as an okay guy and actually not a bad fighter. He can't hold a candle to her but few people can. But training against him without her powers or with them very low has proven to be a halfway decent workout.

13) Do they have a weapon? If so, do they carry it at all times or just under certain circumstances?: I haven't quite decided this OOC. Typically her weapons are her fists and ki but in the event that powers get nullified, she needs something else too.

14) Do they have any pets? Would these pets be at their homes, or do they hang out with the character in question?: She wouldn't mind taking in some. Not that she would say as much.

15) Who are their neighbors?: People in the Heart building.

16) Who are their best friends in Luceti? How often do they spend time with them and doing what? Pft, best friends. No thanks.

17) On the flip side, is there anyone they actively don’t get along with? How do they interact, and would people know about this? Not naming names here but she can't really stand Vegeta's stupid face.

18) Their favorite areas/stores/hang-out locations?: The various shops, of course.

19) Do they belong to any clubs or organizations? Which ones? Do they go regularly, or just occasionally? No. >:T

20) Wing color and how do they deal with their wings?: Icy blue and she just generally ignores them.

21) Did they change or grow in any way physically since coming to Luceti?: Not really. :V

22) What do they miss the most from home?: Having interested stuff to do maybe?

23) What does their handwriting look like? Do they write the way they talk, or is there a clear difference between the two?: For a woman so rough, her handwriting is amusingly girly. It's one reason she'll likely never write in the journals. It's all curves in cursive and very well written.

24) Is the way they act in person different from the way they act over the journal system?: NOPE.

25) Did they gain/lose any personal goals during their stay in Luceti?: Well she was determined to find 17 back home and she did so.

26) Is Luceti a technological upgrade, or downgrade for them? Have they adapted to these changes well?: BORED OUT OF HER MIND.

27) FOR STUDENTS: What is their favorite class? What is their least favorite class? What about their general behavior in school?: N/A

28) FOR DRINKERS: What is their favorite drink? What is their least favorite drink? Do they prefer Good Spirits or Cloud Nine? What's their attitude about and while drinking?: N/A, not much of a drinker.

29) Do they have any special talents? If so, what are they?: She can blow a lot of crap up real good.

30) Have they learned any new skills or abilities in Luceti? If so, what are they? Why and how? Nope.

31) What kind of habits do they have on drafts? Are they willing to kill or do they prefer to avoid fighting? Man she'll fight anything you want her to fight. Unless she objects to it for some moral reason. YEAH SHE HAS THOSE.

32) What kind of habits do they have on missions? What is their reason for going on them? What do they intend to use their points for? Typically she goes on them to avoid boredom. That being said, there's also the unspoken need to be somewhat helpful.

33) How long have they been in Luceti? Has that length of time impacted them in any way?: Not that long this time, maybe a month? She was here for a few before that.

34) How do they unwind and get back to normal after a brutal experiment, event, or draft? She goes to the Battle Dome and punches things.

35) What is their worst experience from an experiment or kidnapping? Were there any that they actually liked? N/A

36) Anything else you want to note?: 18 is actually a pretty sentimental sort of gal. She can't remember a thing about her human life beyond 17 being her brother so she's sort of protective of him, particularly after all the Cell business. She also takes gifts to heart and really does cherish things/people/etc. She just won't show it because man she's a tsundere.

Also I'm using this icon because it's my favorite.
capturespecialist: (27. twelve kids is a bit much dude)

☆ Crystal ☆

[personal profile] capturespecialist 2014-07-24 07:14 am (UTC)(link)
1) Height: Probably around 5'8" (172.5cm); she'll probably top off in another inch though.

2) Weight: A woman doesn't give her weight, but it's somewhere pretty normal for her height. (140lbs/63.5kg)

3) Eye color/Hair Color: Blue eyes; headcanon more than anything that her hair's really this lovely brown color that she's been drawn with more than once, but she just dyes her hair to be darker colors. Usually it's black or a dark navy blue, but she'll be getting pink hair really soon. See below.

4) Age: Technically, she's still 16 if we're going to go by Luceti's weird time cycles - but her "birthday" was in April so saying she's 17 feels more natural. Besides -- it was gonna be her birthday in a few months back home, there's no trouble to call it early.

5) Physical features: Usually has bags under her eyes; she doesn't sleep very well, though there's been a few string of nights where she didn't have any nightmares... But, on average, she's up at three in the morning, naps in the afternoon for about an hour, and finally gets to sleep round nine or ten. Healthy sleep schedule? Ha.

Her most notable features are typically her legs, which are very firmly muscled -- given that they're her main tools and she still uses them heavily in her training... also her hair'll be pink. Like this (right) pink.

6) Voice: She's not got a canon voice (and this will never be rectified), but it's typically a very cheerful and kind voice that's in a medium-range for pitches. Her pitch doesn't change when she switches into her serious mode, but her tone tends towards the sterner/sharper side. She tends to be warm and kind -- motherly, you could even say!

7) Who do they live with and how are chores divided in their house/apartment?: She lives in House 11, aka "Pokéhouse," along with a bunch of guys (Gold, Silver, Rin, Cilan, and Ash) and a bunch of Pokémon (don't make me list those). Crystal's probably the one who keeps the house clean, even the rooms that aren't currently occupied, except she doesn't touch the bathroom on Rin's side of the second floor. He can take care of that himself.

It's also pretty likely that she's the one who does laundry for the house too (please do your own laundry guys) (just) (please) (please...), and she most definitely at least does her own. Her bras aren't going to be ruined by a bunch of stupid boys who don't know how to properly clean them :'|

8) Their favorite (and least favorite, if you want) foods and who does the cooking in their house/apartment?: She prefers healthy foods by far, and, as a result, isn't a huge junk food fan... but she's got a soft spot for almond cake in particular and bitter-tasting foods in general. It's probably fair to say that Cilan does most of the cooking in the house in general, but Crystal likes to make herself breakfast and dinner if she's up particularly early/gets in late.

9) What they do during an average day in Luceti: Her day begins either at three in the morning (thanks, nightmares) or at six -- the former has her on walks to clear her mind before she goes for her usual hand-to-hand combat training/practice, while the latter immediately has her heading off for said practice.

Once that's through, she can usually be found in one of three places in Luceti: in the forest behind House 11, in the mountains (not too far from the hot springs, actually, since she uses the teleporter to get there), and on the beach (where she's working on her sand control; it seems like a useful skill to have and head, maybe one day she'll get to make the best sandcastle ever).

She takes about an hour break in mid-afternoon to cool off and rest up (the cherry blossoms are a particularly favorite spot, but if she's in the mountain she'll be soaking in the hot springs), then goes right back to working on mastering Faeren's rock/earth side of her magic and figuring out new ways to apply it.

Once it gets too dark for her to see, she heads back home and takes the edge off by scrubbing the house clean, doing laundry, and etc etc etc. She showers every morning and every night as well, since she wakes up with one and doesn't like going to bed all gross and sweaty.

This is pretty much the same every day save for Sunday, which she spends largely with her pokémon out and about in Luceti. Particular places: the fountain, the coffeeshop, and the library.

10) Their general sense of fashion: Practical, comfortable, and a little cute. She's a fan of vibrant colors, especially since they're a hit with kids, and tends towards clothing she can move around in easily (so shorts, form-fitting things, and sneakers).

She's not against cute dressers or skirts though -- she just doesn't usually wear them unless it's a special occasion.

Hotter weather gets her in sports bras and short shorts for training, and she doesn't usually bother to change into anything else for her mid-afternoon break. She slides into pajamas after a shower when she gets home late though.

11) Do they have any hobbies? Did they come up with these hobbies in Luceti, or was it something they always did?: At home, it was practicing her catching and volunteering at Violet City's academy -- mostly the latter. She'd come up with games for the childern as well.

In Luceti, it's turned into training with Faeren and not sleeping very well.

12) Has the situation in Luceti changed their view on certain topics/the way they react to different things?: Not much, except that she's very hesitant to keep her pokémon in their pokéballs and to bring them on things like drafts (should she ever go on one) and missions. Having to actually kill someone has become a very close reality too, and one she's not looking forward to having to do in the slightest.

13) Do they have a weapon? If so, do they carry it at all times or just under certain circumstances?: HER BARE HANDS AND FEET no, but seriously, the girl's learned how to cripple and kill people in hand-to-hand combat at this point. She's got a pretty amazingly strong kick to boot! And yes, obviously they'll be on her at all times. Otherwise, she has Megaree and Monlee - neither of which she's been carrying around as of late. They're usually left to their own devices in House 11!

14) Do they have any pets? Would these pets be at their homes, or do they hang out with the character in question?: Oh, oops, I answered this -- there's Megaree, her Meganium, a very hardy and enthusiastic plantile who has megawatts of energy, and there's Monlee, her Hitmonchan, who's an adamant fighter with a lot of punch and a lot of willpower. Both of them aren't pets, per say; they're very important partners and they're part of her pro-catching team, Monlee in particular.

That being said, they're usually left at home and hang out with her/help her with chores when she gets back, aside from on Sunday -- where they go out with her to hang around Luceti.

15) Who are their neighbors?: There's the Flame Building, which has Hilda, Masaomi, Lee, and Evan that she's pretty familiar with. Otherwise, House 11's tiny area is totally devoid of people.

16) Who are their best friends in Luceti? How often do they spend time with them and doing what?: Gold and Silver definitely top this list, and prooobably not as often as they should. Her and Silver have a lot of late night/early morning hang out sessions thanks to their nightmarish (haha) sleeping schedules, and she's one of the few people who doesn't mind sitting down to watch Proteam Omega with him to help him wind down. So, objectively, they spend a lot more time together than her and Gold do.

Honorary mentions go to Hilda (who is still the only outside of people with Pokémon who know it's explicitly her fault that her important friend is dead) and Masaomi (who has been a surprising source of feel good vibes and conversation).

17) On the flip side, is there anyone they actively don’t get along with? How do they interact, and would people know about this?: Probably Loki; she doesn't like his style in the slightest. She'd still be as civil as possible in any interactions though -- and that goes for pretty much anyone she wouldn't get along with.

18) Their favorite areas/stores/hang-out locations?: The secret waterfall area Saori's shown her in the mountains, the square, the hot springs... She's also got a fondness for Helios' café and is becoming a frequent customer of the convenience store thanks to her training schedule.

19) Do they belong to any clubs or organizations? Which ones? Do they go regularly, or just occasionally? None in particular!

20) Wing color and how do they deal with their wings?: Lavender! They don't get in her way very much while she's out, especially since she doesn't tend to wear her jacket or a hoodie or anything of the sort. When it gets colder, she'll probably end up hiding them in her hoodies because it's easier to deal with than fitting clothes for them.

21) Did they change or grow in any way physically since coming to Luceti?: She hasn't been in Luceti long enough for much, but her roots are showing through her dye since she's been too preoccupied to touch them up... She'll end up dyeing her hair a pretty shade of pink by the end of July though!

22) What do they miss the most from home?: Her Arcanine. Her mom. Volunteering at the academy and playing with the kids. Working for Professor Oak. Johto, in essence.

(But secretly, she really doesn't want to go home.)

23) What does their handwriting look like? Do they write the way they talk, or is there a clear difference between the two?: Like kindergarten teacher's! It's very neat and orderly and easy to read. She writes the way she talks, so telling her mood's not all that hard.

24) Is the way they act in person different from the way they act over the journal system?: Not really. She's a lot more prone to shifting into Lecture/Teacher mode when she's talking to someone over the journal, though.

25) Did they gain/lose any personal goals during their stay in Luceti?: She's never, ever going to let one of her Pokémon get hurt or disappear again. She's gained that one in Luceti. At home, her only goal was to doing her job profesionally and perfectly -- and, you know, to keep the world safe for children to grow up in.

26) Is Luceti a technological upgrade, or downgrade for them? Have they adapted to these changes well?: Downgrade, technically; PCs and Pokémon Centers obviously aren't fixtures in Luceti.

27) FOR STUDENTS: What is their favorite class? What is their least favorite class? What about their general behavior in school?: She doesn't go to school, though she's been offered by Helios to come volunteer and help out at it since she has experience with it from home. She hasn't taken him up on it yet though - she doesn't have any skills to teach, and until she's confident enough in her abilities to calm down on training she probably won't offer her time for assisting classes.

28) FOR DRINKERS: What is their favorite drink? What is their least favorite drink? Do they prefer Good Spirits or Seventh Heaven? What's their attitude about and while drinking?: She doesn't drink! If she did, she'd probably only do it in the company of friends and/or socially.

29) Do they have any special talents? If so, what are they?: She's got excellent balance and perfect accuracy, as long as she's kicking. Throwing is more like average accuracy for her.

30) Have they learned any new skills or abilities in Luceti? If so, what are they? Why and how? Hand-to-hand combat and a multitude of earth magic! She's learning them to defend herself and so she doesn't have to rely on her Pokémon at all -- so she can leave them at home and have them stay nice and safe, while she goes off on drafts and junk.

She's learned her hand-to-hand from Evan (and some basic kicks from Lee), and she's been in close contact with Faeren since early June. Particulars about her earth magic skills: She can create walls out of solid earth/rock, solidify sand and do some minor manipulation with it, do a very Stone Edge-like move, and can create very small quakes that she's going to work on extending the area of. Among other less exciting stuff.

31) What kind of habits do they have on drafts? Are they willing to kill or do they prefer to avoid fighting?: She hasn't been on any drafts since Zompania's, so it's hard to say. It's not hard to imagine that she's going to freeze up if she ever has to go into serious combat, no matter her training.

32) What kind of habits do they have on missions? What is their reason for going on them? What do they intend to use their points for? The only mission she's been on is the one to raze down Zompania, though if she went on any it'd probably be just to get minor items. She'd probably stay off of combat-based ones unless she had a buddy or two with her, preferably ones that wouldn't chide her for leaving her pokémon behind.

33) How long have they been in Luceti? Has that length of time impacted them in any way?: About four months now, I think? Despite the small time, she has been impacted heavily (thanks draft!) and in actually a really terrible, awful, negative way.

34) How do they unwind and get back to normal after a brutal experiment, event, or draft?: She's only had this draft-wise, but she prefers to be away from people (but not her pokémon) for a day or two before she goes back to the house and try to act relatively normal. She's ended up putting a lot of her frustration and guilt into training and strengthening herself instead of having to count entirely on her pokémon though.

35) What is their worst experience from an experiment or kidnapping? Were there any that they actually liked?: She hasn't actually had any of these yet, really! Maybe one day soon I'll get to put something here B)b (If I can count drafts, it's Zompania. It will always be Zompania.)

36) Anything else you want to note?:
-- She's going to contact Sona in August, probably!
-- As stated before, she dyes her hair. Her mom does too.
-- She carries no less than five of each of her specialty balls... normally. She's going to probably start finding them in the item shop this month.
-- I'm also kind of interested in her making up games that she played with the kids in Johto and showing them off in Luceti ahaha...

I THINK THAT'S ALL.

feistytrader: (sticker stars)

Silver and his Pokémon too I guess (1/2...)

[personal profile] feistytrader 2014-07-24 06:25 am (UTC)(link)
1) Height: 6'0. This boy's tall. His Weavile is about three and a half feet, Feraligatr's somewhere around nine or ten feet, and Gyarados is a whopping sixty feet long. You could fit a romantic candlelit dinnertable in his mouth. ...I wouldn't recommend it, but you could.

2) Weight: 135lbs or some skinny ass shit like that. (His Pokémon are around their average weights, give or take a little due to their less than average sizes. Gyarados- being a ridiculously huge red Gyarados- is somewhere in the realm of 1100 pounds.)

3) Eye color/Hair Color: Silver eyes! Bright ridiculously red hair.

4) Age: Sixteen? Seventeen? Might as well be seventeen at this point. He couldn't give a clear answer. He's got a baby face.

5) Physical features: Silver looks tired a lot of the time lately because he hasn't been getting much sleep thanks to those nightmares about almost getting sacrificed! Speaking of after effects of the Zomano draft, Silver's got a pretty big scar on his left leg. Happy fun family time. It's not uncommon for him to approach people and be completely soaking wet because two water types in the battle dome will get you soaked pretty quick. He always has at least one of his Pokémon out unless otherwise specified- and that Pokémon is usually Weavile, since Feraligatr's kind of scary and Gyarados is kind of huge.

6) Voice: No voice actors here. I imagine that Silver's voice is deep enough to be a guy voice, but not super ultra wet your pants deep. In addition, he barely ever changes the tone of his voice, even when he's embarrassed or upset. It takes a lot to get some vocal emotion out of him- body language gives his feelings away much faster and clearer.

7) Who do they live with and how are chores divided in their house/apartment?: Silver lives in House 11 (located directly next to the flame building) along with Gold, Crys, Cilan, Ash, and Rin. He keeps his own stuff and space clean (such as the room he shares with Gold and the bathroom he uses) and takes care of the house's garden in the absence of someone better to do the job. Occasionally he'll help with cleaning at large, but there's never any consistency to it and he avoids the kitchen because let's be real, that's Cilan (and Rin)'s turf. The only thing he does with any kind of semi-consistency is go grocery shopping- he likes to make sure there's enough food for everyone.

8) Their favorite (and least favorite, if you want) foods and who does the cooking in their house/apartment?: Eggs. This boy and his Weavile love their eggs to pieces. The only thing second to eggs is ice cream, and below those are juice boxes. While they'll both happily eat anything, Silver isn't too fond of foods that are excessively dry or bitter. Feraligatr's got an appetite for peanut butter when he isn't eating normal Feraligatr foods, but doesn't have an appetite for sweet things. Gyarados shares a mild distaste for excessive sweetness, but he'll eat anything that fits into his mouth people whatever meat can satiate him.

Cilan probably does most of the house cooking (along with Rin), and all Silver can make is eggs, so he doesn't cook much- and most of the time it's easier to grab some quick junk food or something than cook anyway, especially since all food in Luceti is free.

9) What they do during an average day in Luceti: This loser spends his time holed up in the battle dome- or if it's too full, he'll wander around the woods. It's not uncommon for him to disappear off the face of the earth for a day or two from wandering around. He also spends a bunch of time at the lakes and the beach- he does have two water types that love nothing more than spending some time swimming around.

Besides that, he spends a half an hour before the arbitrary hour he decides is time to sleep watching the same few episodes of Proteam Omega he got from Gold for Christmas- and often ends up falling asleep on the couch as one episode turns into four.

10) Their general sense of fashion: He wears his canon getup all the time. In the woods, to the dome, on drafts, at the beach- he likes his look. It works for him. black and red jacket, black t-shirt under, gloves, white/purple/blue pants, and shoes. Occasionally boots.

...That said, two of his friends might or might not be dragging him off to get cute clothes, so he might get more pink in his closet- in addition to the pink hoodie he got from Masaomi for participating in The Great King's Game of 2014. He's got a decent fashion sense when it comes to other people- he just doesn't care that much about what he wears outside of it being practical and breathable.

He always has his gloves on with very few exceptions. Additionally, he'll be getting glasses soon since he's a loser with poor vision.

11) Do they have any hobbies? Did they come up with these hobbies in Luceti, or was it something they always did?: What's a hobby. ...Outside of occasionally being dragged into hobby-like things by his friends, his only hobby is watching dumb mecha anime. Of course, that's something of an accomplishment in of itself- until very recently, he used to be a hobbyless loser.

12) Has the situation in Luceti changed their view on certain topics/the way they react to different things?: He's had several very drastic changes in his point in view!

-At first, he couldn't stand the malnosso, while now he's a lot more tolerant of them since he associates them more with the soldiers they fight with in drafts than the occasional experiment- it helps that the rogues that kidnap people every now and then and do some pretty terrible things are some weird unaffiliated malnosso branch.

-He's always had an understanding that good and evil are somewhat subjective and no one's really completely evil, but being in Luceti and meeting people has changed his perspective on the matter to the point where- while he still has his sense of right and wrong- he's a lot more understanding of other people's actions and reasoning... Sometimes. He's not particularly fast to judge in the first place (unless you're in Team Rocket.)

-His thoughts on killing aren't the healthiest, but he's chosen to act less like a person during drafts and more like a soldier, "like he should be". It deeply bothers him that he has to kill, but he's also somewhat resigned to the matter on drafts, and is substantially less hesitant about it than he probably should be, but at least he isn't dead. (Turns out that hanging out with some giant murderous wolf god has some interesting side-effects.)

-He's opened up a little bit! He's a little more talkative and approachable than he is in canon... But it's slow going. On the bright side, he's quicker to trust and give people the benefit of the doubt. (IE. A character who couldn't stand poor people in canon now is more tolerant of them due to circumstances in Luceti, so on)

-After being sacrificed and time being rewound to save him and many others, he has less than a healthy perspective of his own existence. On one hand, it's probably not right to mess with events in time, and the effects are still impacting their enclosure, even now. On the other hand, sacrificing is so unnatural and awful that he'd never solidly believe his doubts, let alone voice them in public. He's been given a second chance at existing, and he has to make the most out of it- and silly things like trauma, insomnia, nightmares, or fears can't get in the way of that. He also has a lower expectations for his mortality than before- and "before", he was fairly certain that he was going to die sometime in the next few years thanks to some incident most likely involving Team Rocket or legendaries.

13) Do they have a weapon? If so, do they carry it at all times or just under certain circumstances?: His Pokémon aren't necessarily "weapons", but they are strong and dangerous and he has them all with him all the time. Besides his partners, he carries around a knife- Moro taught him to fight savagely and hunt with it, but he's extremely hesitant to pull it out and use it outside of drafts.

14) Do they have any pets? Would these pets be at their homes, or do they hang out with the character in question?: In case the past thirteen questions didn't make it clear, he has his three Pokémon! Weavile, Feraligatr, and Gyarados are all always with him, whether they're walking with him or napping in their Pokéballs. When at home, Gyarados often takes naps outside- and sometimes gets in the way of the flame building's main entrance. Silver keeps several notes on him for these incidents, since Gyarados only usually listens to him...

15) Who are their neighbors?:
Everyone in the flame building is a neighbor! I'm not sure if anyone's currently living in the nearby houses.

Ion

[personal profile] distressedude 2014-07-24 06:52 am (UTC)(link)
1) Height:
Around 5'6''-5'7''

2) Weight:
Between 115-120 pounds. He's still pretty much a stick.

3) Eye color/Hair Color:
Green hair and green eyes!

4) Age:
Currently 18 by Luceti's calender, and also the age he considers himself to be. Physically appears around 16, since Auldrant's years last twice as long, making him age slower. Chronologically he's only 5 and a half (about 11.5 Earth years).

5) Physical features:
He does look older than his icons show, since he's gotten taller and grown up a bit since he first arrived. His hair is currently much shorter, coming to just about his chin in length. He also has a series of faded vertical scars on his neck, left over from a bad mallynap.

6) Voice:
THIS WAS HARDER TO MAKE THAN I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE but I took two clips from the Japanese version of the game and lowered the pitch a bit to about how he'd sound in Luceti now, thanks to puberty and all. For contrast, his voice in the game is much higher, and even more so in the English version of the game!

7) Who do they live with and how are chores divided in their house/apartment?:
Ion lives in House One, along with a good chunk of the Abyss cast: Nephry, Anise, Luke, Natalia, Tear, and Jade. Ion does a few set chores around the house, like dusting and giving Colonel a bath (the dog -- not the scary troll who lives upstairs). He also helps with other things sometimes when he can, like setting the table for dinner and helping with the dishes.

8) Their favorite (and least favorite, if you want) foods and who does the cooking in their house/apartment?:
Ion's favorite foods are basically anything Anise cooks, but he's especially fond of boxed lunches. He also really likes milkshakes, but doesn't drink them very often since they make him sick to his stomach. He's not terribly picky, so he doesn't really have a least favorite food. Anise, Tear, and Nephry probably do most of the cooking. Natalia is banished from the kitchen, and Ion is only allowed to cook under supervision.

9) What they do during an average day in Luceti:
On mornings when he can get up early enough, he goes for a walk/jog with Colonel around the northern part of the village. If there's school, he'll go there for at least half of the day, if not the full day. He usually has lunch with Kohan and the spends some time reading, usually while watching Kohan train and then he gets no actual reading done. Sometimes he goes and trains with Cliff, or spends some time at either the library or the tea shop. He likes to make it back to House One in time for dinner, and after that he usually stays in until it's time for bed. On weekends, he might spend the evening watching movies with Kohan, and sometimes spends the night with him.

10) Their general sense of fashion:
Ion prefers loose-fitting tunics over leggings or pants. He doesn't like to show a lot of skin, so even in the summer he might be wearing loose long-sleeve shirts and leggings under his shorts. He's grown out of the habit of wearing his robes around Luceti, mostly because they've gotten short on him -- but he does have a few fantasy-ish outfits that look similar in style. Usually he prefers muted or toned-down colors, but he does have a few fancy outfits, such as the one given to him by Perona for his birthday. Also, during the winter he wears about 20 sweaters at any given time because he doesn't do too well in the cold.

11) Do they have any hobbies? Did they come up with these hobbies in Luceti, or was it something they always did?:
Reading is Ion's main hobby in Luceti, but he's also tried to start playing the piano a little bit, since House One still has the one Dist got from the Malnosso. He's also taken to training thanks to Cliff, though most of it just involves a lot of jogging to try and work up his stamina, especially after he was so sick the year before and lost the use of his legs for awhile.

12) Has the situation in Luceti changed their view on certain topics/the way they react to different things?:
The biggest change for Ion is how he views his own life and mortality. Prior to Luceti, he never really viewed his own life as "important" in the sense that it ultimately didn't matter whether he lived or died. He used to think he could only live so long as he was fulfilling some kind of purpose. In Luceti, that purpose became living for the sake of others. But over time, he's now gotten to the point where he lives simply because he wants to live, which also comes with a nice, healthy fear of dying.

13) Do they have a weapon? If so, do they carry it at all times or just under certain circumstances?:
He has a staff used for channeling fonic artes, but he doesn't carry it with him on a regular basis.

14) Do they have any pets? Would these pets be at their homes, or do they hang out with the character in question?:
Colonel is a shiba inu given to Tear by the Malnosso for Christmas, and he's basically become House One's pet. Ion is very fond of him, and in return, he's very protective of Ion.

15) Who are their neighbors?:
WOW most of the houses surrounding House One are empty now, how sad. Their closest neighbors are Kratos and the Sailor Moon cast, but he doesn't really know them.

16) Who are their best friends in Luceti? How often do they spend time with them and doing what?
Ion's best friend in Luceti is also his boyfriend, Kohan, and he practically spends everyday with him, for at least a little while. They usually has lunch together and then spend time just being with each other or watching movies together and then maybe they make-out a little if Ven isn't home. His next best friend would be Anise, aka his bff on Auldrant. They probably spend most of their time together talking, or maybe Anise can try and give him cooking lessons or something spoilers: they won't work, he's cursed. And of course, special mention goes to Nephry, who is so beyond being a best friend that he actually considers her his mother.

17) On the flip side, is there anyone they actively don’t get along with? How do they interact, and would people know about this?
It's very hard to get on Ion's bad side. He probably still struggles to get along with Arietta though, mostly because she still thinks he's his original and all. And even though it's never been threaded for obvious reasons, he doesn't quite get Hoshikyo, who nicknamed him Princess after an unfortunate conversation in the library one time.

18) Their favorite areas/stores/hang-out locations?:
The library, the tea shop, school, and Seventh Heaven. He also spends a lot of time at or around House 39, outside the barracks (usually while with Kohan), or up on Cherry Blossom Hill. There's also a small clearing slightly northwest of House One with a lot of flowers that he visits often when the weather is nice.

19) Do they belong to any clubs or organizations? Which ones? Do they go regularly, or just occasionally?
He goes to school regularly, but that's about it! He's a pretty good student and offers to help tutor others whenever they need help. Except for Art. He sucks at that.

20) Wing color and how do they deal with their wings?:
His wings are green with a very slight marbling texture when seen up close. He almost never has his wings out, and keeps them tucked under his clothes even around the house. On days when it's just too hot for that, he'll still keep them tucked close to his body.

21) Did they change or grow in any way physically since coming to Luceti?:
I think about this stuff a lot if it wasn't already obvious. He's gotten a few inches taller, and is now almost the same height as Luke. He's also gotten a lot leaner, and due to various circumstances he also has a number of scars on his body: a series of several long and thin vertical scars around his neck, a long jagged diagonal cut from his shoulder and across his back, and a few smaller ones on his arm and his knees.

22) What do they miss the most from home?:
The people of Auldrant. He never wants to forget all the kind people he met, and every so often he realizes he's forgotten something like the sound of someone's voice, or the look of someone's face. He also misses the world itself, and the one time he tried recreating it in the Battledome, it was too painful for him to stay longer than a few minutes (and for the curious -- the Cathedral in Daath is almost completely recreated as a simulation in the Battledome, save for the headquarters below).

23) What does their handwriting look like? Do they write the way they talk, or is there a clear difference between the two?:
Ion has an very neat, cursive script that was painstakingly practiced to perfectly mimic the writing of the original Ion. There's little difference between how he sounds in writing and how he sounds when speaking, though the former may sound a bit more formal at times.

24) Is the way they act in person different from the way they act over the journal system?:
No difference at all!

25) Did they gain/lose any personal goals during their stay in Luceti?:
Seeing as he lost any possibility of having goals back on Auldrant when he died, his only goals in Luceti have become to live his life the way he wants. He'd like to say his goal is to live long enough to truly come of age, but he knows that making a goal like that is hard in a place like Luceti.

26) Is Luceti a technological upgrade, or downgrade for them? Have they adapted to these changes well?:
Auldrant's technology is so messed up it's honestly hard to say for sure. For the most part, it's probably an upgrade, but given the variety of technology on Auldrant (both modern and from the Dawn age) he probably adapted to it all pretty easily.

27) FOR STUDENTS: What is their favorite class? What is their least favorite class? What about their general behavior in school?:
His favorite class is world sharing, since he loves learning about all the different sorts of worlds out there, and talking about Auldrant isn't something he has many opportunities to do. His least favorite class is art, because he's frustratingly bad at it -- he draws like his true age, basically. His behavior in school is basically model-student, though he skips school a lot because he gets sick at least once a month.

28) FOR DRINKERS: What is their favorite drink? What is their least favorite drink? Do they prefer Good Spirits or Cloud Nine? What's their attitude about and while drinking?:
Ion doesn't drink. Bad things happened the last time he got drunk because of the Malnosso.

29) Do they have any special talents? If so, what are they?:
If abilities count as special talents, his Daathic Fonic Artes are extremely potent artes that only he can use. I also like to headcanon that he has a beautiful singing voice, but he hasn't had much opportunity to use it.

30) Have they learned any new skills or abilities in Luceti? If so, what are they? Why and how?
He's learned how to use Nala's healing magic, which doesn't put the same strain on his body that fonic artes do, even if it's not as potent.

31) What kind of habits do they have on drafts? Are they willing to kill or do they prefer to avoid fighting?
Ion is much more focused on defending others than outright fighting, but he's not against killing if it's what needs to be done to save an ally. He can't bring himself to completely ignore the fighting so long as his friends are still out there on the battlefield.

32) What kind of habits do they have on missions? What is their reason for going on them? What do they intend to use their points for?
Ion hasn't gone on missions often, but the one time he did go, it was at least partially to try and forget something that was bothering him before he went. He used the points along with others from House One to upgrade the house so it would be big enough for the rest of the cast at the time.

33) How long have they been in Luceti? Has that length of time impacted them in any way?:
Ion's been in Luceti for about 4 years now, and he's changed and developed a lot. He knows every day spent here is a day living on borrowed time, and in that sense, he almost feels grateful to whatever power it is keeping him here.

34) How do they unwind and get back to normal after a brutal experiment, event, or draft?
He spends some time alone, or seeks out someone he feels he can talk to, like Nephry. If it's especially bad and left him feeling depressed, he might go to Seventh Heaven and binge on milkshakes to forget his troubles. If neither of the above work, he can also just try and force himself to suppress those feelings, but this is hardly the healthiest option.

35) What is their worst experience from an experiment or kidnapping? Were there any that they actually liked?
Worst experience was the time the Malnosso put a shift on his body to slowly contaminate his fonons with Miasma. It was extremely painful, and he completely lost the ability to walk for a number of months. It would have gone on to kill him if not for the abilities of a number of healers in the village. As for ones he actually liked... well, one time they sent him back and he actually felt healthier than he had before. But that's probably it.

36) Anything else you want to note?: KOHAN MADE HIM A MAN. Also this is way too long wow.

Ash - 1/2 jfc why

[personal profile] friendshipfirst 2014-07-24 09:03 am (UTC)(link)
1) Height: I put him at around 4'8''-4'10''. Nothing taller than 5 feet tho.

2) Weight: Ehh maybe around 70lbs? yay for being ten or something.

3) Eye color/Hair Color: Brown eyes and Black Hair. Though his hair isn't full on black and actually has a blueish tint to it (if you go and color pick his hair you'll know what I mean). But to make things simple... yeah it's black.

4) Age: Ten. His birthday was May 22nd but no he's still ten. And he'll be ten come next May 22nd too. Forever ten can't stop me.

5) Physical features:
Despite the fact that he still seems to have a bundle of energy he probably looks tired these days because wow nightmares go away already. And speaking of that nightmarish draft he as a light scar on his right arm because that injury went through hell of a lot and wasn't actually tended to by someone who can heal until a week or do after the draft ended whoops. Also, as if it had to be said, he always has Pikachu out somewhere because partner and Pikachu hates his Pokeball.

6) Voice:
Voice in English by Sarah Natochenny
Same part but Rica Matsumoto! aka voice in japanese
(Sorry that both parts are long. English one I found on youtube and the only japanese clip I found was XY when he was battling grant which meh not best wishes/near Ash's current canon point so I made my own clip of the same thing for a better comparison).

Personally I have a bias for Rica and consider him to have that voice, though I'm not opposed to his current English voice either (I personally believe it's better than when Veronica Taylor was voicing him) so whichever one floats your boat. Reasons why I like his japanese one better is because it's Rica why wouldn't you gosh it's higher, more energetic, and just all around engulfs his personality more than his english voice.

7) Who do they live with and how are chores divided in their house/apartment?: Lives in House 11 with Gold, Silver, Crys, Cilan, and Rin. He... probably doesn't do much to be honest. He'll do what he's asked to do if any of the other residents ask him to do it but he doesn't cook (he sucks at cooking) and cleaning is definitely not his priority. At the very least though he tries and keeps his room clean?

8) Their favorite (and least favorite, if you want) foods and who does the cooking in their house/apartment?:
He seems to be very fond of Croquettes (being mentioned that they are a favorite of his by Cilan in an episode) and Macarons seem to be a very common food that they enjoy back home. But really he's fond of a lot of foods. Sandwiches, fruits, dessert. This boy will probably eat most anything and isn't a picky eater as long as the food is good. As for who cooks in the house it's likely mostly Cilan and with Rin living in the house now him as well. Ash doesn't cook because lol as mentioned he sucks.

9) What they do during an average day in Luceti:
Do literally everything together with Pikachu-- Okay no. But he does have Pikachu pretty much all the time with him wherever he is. Normally he can be found during the day wandering around, hanging out with other friends, eating, or somewhere training his Pokemon like in a field or at the battledome. He doesn't really have a set schedule or anything just does what he wants and when he's hungry he'll either go back home to have some of Cilan's food or alternatively go to Seventh Heaven or some place and have food elsewhere.

10) Their general sense of fashion:
The majority of the time he still wears his canon clothing because hey those are clothing his mama made him okay. But when he's not wearing those he will wear Plain T-Shirts (like a simple black one or a white one)/T-Shirts with simple patterns and jeans (or rather the pants he usually wears already. Examples would be like this or this. He still tends to wear his hat and gloves but he won't wear them on occasion. Though usually it's when he's in the house where he won't wear them or when he's eating at a table indoors (sometimes outdoors as well).

11) Do they have any hobbies? Did they come up with these hobbies in Luceti, or was it something they always did?:
Pokemon training? Hanging out with friends? He hasn't really done anything new since arriving here so clearly this boy needs to go and find some hobbies that he can do while in Luceti.

12) Has the situation in Luceti changed their view on certain topics/the way they react to different things?:
Ash is still Ash at his core because this boy never flippin' changes. However there is a thing or two.

- Ash is a little more understanding on the fact that sometimes you have to do something even if you don't want to. He will still outright refuse to do anything more than knock someone out (and even then he feels really bad even if they are the enemy) but he has slowly started to lose hesitation to attacking if he absolutely has to. Thankfully his Pokemon (or at least Snivy and Charizard) have less hesitation to help him out but yeah. Still a long way to being able to being able to handle himself during times like drafts.

- On the lighter side of things while Ash still doesn't like to be touched he's gotten a little less hesitant about hugs? Or rather he probably won't tense up to them as much if you try to hug him (though it likely depends on who you are. The closest you are with him then the less likely he'll tense. Or at least tense for a longer amount of time). Because yeah. For someone who is very charismatic he doesn't like to be touched (though ~some people~ deny his space anyways).

- While Ash usually faces things head on because of the Draft he's actually started to shy away from some things. There have been some topics that he wouldn't be able to handle so he averted his eyes from them and pretends that they never have been said or happened to begin with. Which makes him all the more frustrated inside (and thus more bratty sometimes) because some of these things he can't avert from no matter how hard he tries (how about those nightmares). And to top it off? He hasn't spoken to the one person he needs to speak to about some of this because reasons. So in a way, while he's still really honest and won't back his feelings he's actually become a little more dishonest with himself because of how he's been reacting to certain things and holding some things back when he shouldn't be.

- He's never going to take almost dying/actually dying for x amount of time the same. Not ... that... people are aware that he's actually almost died/did die before but it's not something he's going to bring up on his own.

13) Do they have a weapon? If so, do they carry it at all times or just under certain circumstances?:
Gold gave him a cuestick to use as a weapon in the draft. That is the closest thing that Ash has as a weapon. He doesn't carry it around at all and just keeps it in his room. Unless he decides that he should try and learn to use it better he will probably stay there until the next draft or any other time he might need to have it on him.

He also has Pokemon but if you say they're weapons to him you'll get a rant about how they're his friends so don't do that.

14) Do they have any pets? Would these pets be at their homes, or do they hang out with the character in question?:
Well, they're not pets but he does have three of his Pokemon with him. Pikachu, who is his partner/best buddy, Charizard, and Snivy. But yeah he definitely doesn't think of them as pets but as friends. You will always literally find him with Pikachu because these two are like two peas and a pod and Pikachu doesn't like his damn Pokeball so he's always out and on Ash's shoulder or something. If you do not see Pikachu with him then there is a problem and Ash can get emotional when there is a problem so you should figure out where the hell Pikachu is and solve this problem. Alternatively if you see a Pikachu without an Ash you should probably go find that trainer because Pikachu without an Ash usually doesn't lead to good things. Snivy and Charizard are also often with him either out or resting in their Pokeballs.

15) Who are their neighbors?:
People in the Flame Building! idk about anywhere else but yeah Flame Building totes neighbors.

16) Who are their best friends in Luceti? How often do they spend time with them and doing what?
Well, Pikachu is his best friend and partner and, as mentioned spends virtually all his time with Pikachu. But other than the little electric rodent his best friend would be Cilan! He spends time with Cilan whenever he has the chance, has nothing better to do, and Cilan isn't busy doing something (or Cilan is busy doing something and Ash is there anyways). What they're doing can range from Cilan cooking and Ash waiting for food so he can eat to other things like chilling with Pokemon, playing video games, not talking about their goddamn problems, etc etc.

But Cilan aside he's friends with like everyone he's met so far so if he happens to run into them and they're not busy Ash might just hang out with them for a little bit yep.

17) On the flip side, is there anyone they actively don’t get along with? How do they interact, and would people know about this?
No he's gotten along with legitmately everyone he's met in Luceti so far. I mean he's been a brat to some people on occasion (like Gold and Cilan) but that in no way means that he doesn't get along with them or anything it really just means that he doesn't have tact sometimes, he's being immature, or gdi he's just acting like a ten-year old what do you expect? But friendship man friends all around no enemies here.

18) Their favorite areas/stores/hang-out locations?:
Home (that's where Cilan's food is okay), any open space that allows him to have his Pokemon out either to just relax or train, any place that sells food (though he avoided the Bakery for a while because ~reasons~) and... yeah that's pretty much it.

19) Do they belong to any clubs or organizations? Which ones? Do they go regularly, or just occasionally?
Nope.

20) Wing color and how do they deal with their wings?:
Ash pretty much just ignore his wings and sometimes even forgets that they exist until he sees them in the mirror. He sees no reason to cover them up since everyone has them and doesn't really find them to be a bother.

21) Did they change or grow in any way physically since coming to Luceti?:
HAHAHAHA.... No he's forever ten and will forever look the same (unless I canon update him to XY then he'll look a little different but he'll.. still... be ten.)

22) What do they miss the most from home?:
His other Pokemon and being able to travel around and see new places, meet new Pokemon and friends, and participate in more battles. Like yeah he's gotten to meet new people and becomes friends with them here in Luceti but there aren't any new Pokemon to see (though meeting other people's pokemon have been awesome none of them have been ones he's never seen before), but being mainly stuck in Luceti isn't exactly a journey and he misses that. He misses being able to travel from place to place. And while he's been able to battle other Pokemon trainers here it's not as often as back home and he misses the stepping stones that he takes when he participates in things such as gym battle and the leagues.

Really though, he's just glad that Pikachu is still by his side, because he has left Pokemon and friends behind. Pikachu on the other hand is the Pokemon that has always been by his side and things would be a lot different if Pikachu wasn't with him. And of course vice versa.

23) What does their handwriting look like? Do they write the way they talk, or is there a clear difference between the two?:
He writes like... well like a ten year old. It's not impossible to read but there are likely grammar errors and mispelled words so while there isn't a very clear difference between the two there will be a difference simply because ten year old writing (because let's face it. How often does Ash actually write something on his journey?)

24) Is the way they act in person different from the way they act over the journal system?:
Lol no. Ash is always himself in any situation so what you see is what you'll get. Though if you can't get ahold of him on the journal he's probably off doing something.

25) Did they gain/lose any personal goals during their stay in Luceti?:
No he still plans on being a Pokemon Master nothing can stop him. Not even being in Luceti because yo he has Pokemon with him he can train and battle other Pokemon trainers and get stronger that's totally still on the path to being a Pokemon Master okay. And since he's post Episode N and does virtually nothing between that and Kalos he doesn't have any other goals either.

26) Is Luceti a technological upgrade, or downgrade for them? Have they adapted to these changes well?:
Luceti is kind of a downgrade because the Pokemon world has a lot of fancy technological stuff like these Pokeballs that no one really understands how they work. Anything Ash doesn't understand though he doesn't really use regardless so whatever.

27) FOR STUDENTS: What is their favorite class? What is their least favorite class? What about their general behavior in school?:
lol what's school he has better things to do (no he doesn't but he doesn't go to school).

28) FOR DRINKERS: What is their favorite drink? What is their least favorite drink? Do they prefer Good Spirits or Seventh Heaven? What's their attitude about and while drinking?:
Orange Juice (aka he's ten he doesn't drink)

29) Do they have any special talents? If so, what are they?:
Being able to become friends with most anyone?
Being a Pokemon Trainer?
neither are really special talents or anything but Ash does seem to have that kind of charisma that people enjoy. It's probably his energy and his determination but he seems to be able to bring a smile to people even during the darkest of times. And of course being a Pokemon trainer takes some talent as well okay.

Oh, he can also climb like a monkey. Also is really reckless is that a special talent?

30) Have they learned any new skills or abilities in Luceti? If so, what are they? Why and how?
He can kind of fight with a cue stick now. .... No yeah that's pretty much is he's a loser and hasn't actually gained many new skills or abilities since arriving in Luceti. Unless you count any skills or abilities he's learned through training or battling. Though on that count Pikachu has pretty much learned how to keep Iron Tail going for a longer time since arriving. Iron Tail was Pikachu's best weapon during the draft as it could deflect swords and other such things and thus is a move that he uses frequently/to the point that the moment a fight was going to happen that he would activate it. With that being the case he's gotten much better at using the Iron Tail/Electro Ball combo as well.

But lol that's Pikachu not Ash and yeah Ash has learned almost nothing what a loser. Though I guess you can count being forever ten as some sort of special power/ability or something.

Firo Prochainezo

[personal profile] foundafamily 2014-07-24 02:55 pm (UTC)(link)
1) Height: About 5'5"

2) Weight: Unknown. He’s pretty skinny, but he has wiry muscle, so light but heavier than he looks.

3) Eye color/Hair Color: Brown and brown!

4) Age: He's 24, but physically 18 thanks to being immortal. Most people tend to mistake him for around 15 because he's a babyfaced shrimp.

5) Physical features: Just the aforementioned babyface. (He’s very sensitive about it).

6) Voice: Warning for a bit of blood, gore, and Firo being a dick.

7) Who do they live with and how are chores divided in their house/apartment?: He lives with Seto, Crow, and Luke Triton in House 48! He tries to help out with everything because he's the "adult," but he's not doing anyone's laundry (and you're not touching his) and he should not be allowed to attempt to fix things.

8) Their favorite (and least favorite, if you want) foods and who does the cooking in their house/apartment?: He'll eat pretty much anything, but he prefers not-too-fancy things like soup or sandwiches. He's also a fan of Italian food, because that’s what his family restaurant back home serves. He cooks pretty much the same things and will usually offer to make dinner or lunch if the others are okay with it.

9) What they do during an average day in Luceti: He'll do a little cooking or cleaning if it needs done, then hang out at the Battledome for most of the day. He ends most days by getting a drink somewhere and occasionally stops by the library.

10) Their general sense of fashion: He thinks your newfangled fashions are weird, so he sticks to his green suit. He pretty much always leaves the jacket on unless it's really hot or he's training.

11) Do they have any hobbies? Did they come up with these hobbies in Luceti, or was it something they always did?: Mostly training and playing cards, both things he did back home. He’s started reading more in Luceti, but still sticks to easy fiction.

12) Has the situation in Luceti changed their view on certain topics/the way they react to different things?: He’s becoming a little more softer with how he treats people, not that that says a ton considering how he was before.

13) Do they have a weapon? If so, do they carry it at all times or just under certain circumstances?: He always has his knife in an inner pocket of his suit jacket.

14) Do they have any pets? Would these pets be at their homes, or do they hang out with the character in question?: Crow No pets!

15) Who are their neighbors?: He’s in House 48, so the people in House 47 (Asch) and 43 (none). House 44 (Helios Sola Sprensonne, Saori Kimura), 45 (none), and 46 (Luke Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Padmé Naberrie Amidala Skywalker, Anakin Skywalker, Ahsoka Tano) are also pretty close.

16) Who are their best friends in Luceti? How often do they spend time with them and doing what? His best friends are Seto, Grune, and Mac. Luke Skywalker and Hector are also pretty high on his list. He’ll hang out with them when he sees them, usually sparring (not with Grune, obviously) or just walking around. He considers his other housemates (Crow and Luke) family and friends, but gets into some rough patches with them.

17) On the flip side, is there anyone they actively don’t get along with? How do they interact, and would people know about this? Well, he managed to get Asch to ban him from Good Spirits... He also is not a fan of Vegeta but pesters him on the journal and whenever he catches him around town. If he doesn’t like someone, it’s probably very obvious if you’ve ever seen him interact with them publicly.

18) Their favorite areas/stores/hang-out locations?: The Battledome, the bars, he also just likes to walk around town.

19) Do they belong to any clubs or organizations? Which ones? Do they go regularly, or just occasionally? None.

20) Wing color and how do they deal with their wings?: His are green and he always keeps them hidden under his clothes.

21) Did they change or grow in any way physically since coming to Luceti?: Not at all.

22) What do they miss the most from home?: His family. :(

23) What does their handwriting look like? Do they write the way they talk, or is there a clear difference between the two?: His handwriting is childishly sloppy. He tends to write more properly than he speaks, but misspells things and still steers clear of “big words.”

24) Is the way they act in person different from the way they act over the journal system?: He’s a blunt jerk no matter what.

25) Did they gain/lose any personal goals during their stay in Luceti?: His big goal back home was to serve his Family, which he can’t really do here. He still holds on to it, though—he can at least represent them.

26) Is Luceti a technological upgrade, or downgrade for them? Have they adapted to these changes well?: Upgrade! He's from 1933. He enjoys most of the neat stuff they have here, though he can't do anything fancy with very advanced stuff like the Battledome.

27) FOR STUDENTS: What is their favorite class? What is their least favorite class? What about their general behavior in school?:

28) FOR DRINKERS: What is their favorite drink? What is their least favorite drink? Do they prefer Good Spirits or Seventh Heaven? What's their attitude about and while drinking?: He’ll try most things but his favorite is probably wine or whiskey. He sticks to Seventh Heaven now, but your character may have noticed him going to Good Spirits a lot in the past. He’s a pretty laid-back drinker.

29) Do they have any special talents? If so, what are they?: He's very skilled with a knife and fighting empty-handed. He’s also very good at gambling and catching people cheating.

30) Have they learned any new skills or abilities in Luceti? If so, what are they? Why and how? Vegeta’s taught him how to use energy; Firo’s gotten about as far as flight, though his stamina is still very low and he doesn’t go high. He keeps training at it so he can have an edge in drafts (and if he ever gets a chance to fight the Malnosso).

31) What kind of habits do they have on drafts? Are they willing to kill or do they prefer to avoid fighting? Unless he has someone to take care of, he throws himself into the fighting and aims to kill. Because his knife is too short-range to always defend well, he makes full use of his immortality and people may have seen him revive.

32) What kind of habits do they have on missions? What is their reason for going on them? What do they intend to use their points for? He doesn’t do missions.

33) How long have they been in Luceti? Has that length of time impacted them in any way?: He’ll have been in Luceti for 3 years this September. That time has allowed him to adjust to the way of living here; though he still wants to get home, he’s more resigned to being stuck.

34) How do they unwind and get back to normal after a brutal experiment, event, or draft? Drinking or talking to his friends and trying to pretend nothing happened.

35) What is their worst experience from an experiment or kidnapping? Were there any that they actually liked? He’d say it was the time he came back sparkling, but the worst is when he lost his immortality. He’s hated them all.

36) Anything else you want to note?:
He’s not too shy about his criminal past, so if anyone wants to meet a real live gangster, here’s your chance!

For CR opportunities, he’s always looking for a sparring partner, drinking buddy, or someone to play cards with.

Also, a general warning that he’s very prickly and violent, especially when insulted (comments on his appearance or family/friends, mostly).

[personal profile] winds_voice 2014-07-24 03:39 pm (UTC)(link)
1) Height: 5'8"

2) Weight: Just checked the last one because I couldn't remember lmao, but he's around 126 pounds - very light-weight!

3) Eye color/Hair Color: His eye colour isn't actually reflected in his human icons, but they're supposed to be a really clear sky blue. And his colour is golden-blonde, the same as his gold colouring when he's in dragon form.

4) Age: He looks about 28 but is technically at least a couple of thousand years old (Aether doesn't have an exact age yet).

5) Physical features: Honestly, probably just his eyes as they aren't really reflected in the icons. And well... he can turn into a dragon if that's unusual enough. |D I use Uruha from the Gazette as his PB and while Uruha's hair changes a lot and Eley doesn't wear make-up or anything, his general body/face shape is pretty close!

6) Voice: I imagine Eley to have a fairly low, steady, calming voice, punctuated by uncertain pauses which I try to incorporate in my typing. He speaks quite formally and never really uses contractions or slang unless simply trying to ask about what things might mean. When in dragon form or inside someone's head, he speaks to them telepathically, adding a slight echo to his voice. He rarely gets angry, but when he does, his speech will become much more forceful and almost feral in some instances.

7) Who do they live with and how are chores divided in their house/apartment?: Eley doesn't like enclosed spaces so he opts to live outside, even in the cold. Since Helios helped him to grow a willow tree native to his homeland, Eley has adopted it as his true home and can be found sitting either under it or on it if anyone wishes to meet him. Tsuzuki was in the middle of talks about building an open treehouse for him too before he left, so maybe that wish will come true one day!

8) Their favorite (and least favorite, if you want) foods and who does the cooking in their house/apartment?: Eley still has a ton of food to try and not many options to choose from, but he's developed quite a sweet tooth and so favours food like cakes and chocolate. He is wary of alcohol after learning about how it can affect people and wouldn't like anything too over-spicy.

9) What they do during an average day in Luceti: He'll spend most of his time tending to his tree and the gardens around it, keeping an eye on his chicken Hope and going on long walks through the forest. Every so often he'll venture into the village to see what's going on and meet his friends of course. He also visits the mountains though usually when he wants to reflect on things alone.

10) Their general sense of fashion: Eley likes anything light, airy and cool to wear. He loves silk in particular and has a thing for scarves. Seriously, everyone just go get him a scarf. Eley doesn't tend to go for bright colours or garish patterns, preferring a more elegant style.

11) Do they have any hobbies? Did they come up with these hobbies in Luceti, or was it something they always did?: He had no real knowledge of 'hobbies' back home as he simply tended to the planet as he was made to do. In Luceti he's learned a lot more about the activities of humans and has become interested in cooking and, to some degree, artwork (though his sense of 'art' is probably questionable). He also has a liking for origami though the only things he can make at the moment are paper boats and pinwheels. Eley enjoys music, but can't really play any instruments himself. He did have a harmonica he was practicing with but it was destroyed during Edmundo's attack.

12) Has the situation in Luceti changed their view on certain topics/the way they react to different things?: Eley has become a lot more trusting towards humans and is now willing to make friends with those he feels are respectful and good-hearted. When he first came to Luceti he was still hurting from recent betrayal from the humans of his own world, but he is starting to see the good in them again. War and violence is still something he abhors, but he has also learned the importance of being able to protect that which is important, and has decided to try to learn how to incapacitate foes without killing them.

13) Do they have a weapon? If so, do they carry it at all times or just under certain circumstances?: He has a sasumata, crafted by Isaac using his own dragon horn. It will usually stay propped up by his tree unless he takes it to the Battledome to practice, or if he needs it for a more serious situation (which hasn't happened quite yet).

14) Do they have any pets? Would these pets be at their homes, or do they hang out with the character in question?: He has a silver-laced Polish hen named Hope, who he adopted just because his horoscope told him to. Eley tends to let her roam, but will keep an eye on her whenever possible. If he's been by his tree for a while then she's likely with him or close by.

15) Who are their neighbors?: ...the birds and the bees? |D

16) Who are their best friends in Luceti? How often do they spend time with them and doing what? His best friends are probably Rudy, Spock and more recently, Zuko. He's also getting close to Helios lately and turns to him to try new things like making delicious food. He's been spending a lot of time getting to know Zuko lately in particular though.

17) On the flip side, is there anyone they actively don’t get along with? How do they interact, and would people know about this? He's still wary of Isaac despite using his services and doesn't trust him at all. His first meeting with Wan wasn't exactly warm and welcoming either so Eley's not quite sure about him, but certainly doesn't dislike him.

18) Their favorite areas/stores/hang-out locations?: His tree is a big one obviously. He also likes the shrine and lakes and enjoys visits to the bakery with friends. He'll likely spend more time at Mythoria Cafe as he explores new foods.

19) Do they belong to any clubs or organizations? Which ones? Do they go regularly, or just occasionally? He doesn't actively go to any clubs but occasionally visits if he has nothing else to do or they have something especially interesting going on that he wants to see - namely the art and magic clubs.

20) Wing color and how do they deal with their wings?: Eley got used to his wings pretty quickly as they're similar to his own dragon wings. They're coloured white with gold tips and form a third pair in between his four usual wings when in dragon form. He doesn't really react to them, they're just another part of his body. In fact, being in a human body was a lot more strange for him!

21) Did they change or grow in any way physically since coming to Luceti?: As a Spirit, Eley's body doesn't age. If he had all of his usual abilities he would be able to shift forms but as things stand he's locked in one body.

22) What do they miss the most from home?: Agkelos, his people, particularly King Ilios and his son Altair.

23) What does their handwriting look like? Do they write the way they talk, or is there a clear difference between the two?: Eley writes the way he speaks so he's pretty bad at covering himself up. He's not really used to writing so his handwriting would be kind of shaky.

24) Is the way they act in person different from the way they act over the journal system?: He finds it easier to say more over the journal as he has time to sit down and think. He wouldn't really act any differently in person unless there was something about the other person to set him off (he's confronting them about something, for example).

25) Did they gain/lose any personal goals during their stay in Luceti?: Eley was working with the Agkelon people to create a country that would be inherently peaceful and live free of the world below. He was taken from a point where things were changing and perhaps he would allow people from the ground into the kingdom again, albeit after scrutinising them himself. Obviously none of this can be done in Luceti.

26) Is Luceti a technological upgrade, or downgrade for them? Have they adapted to these changes well?: Certainly an upgrade and while Eley hasn't used every bit of technology or every household appliance, it is taking him a while to get used to things. He knows enough to be able to bake food that's at least edible.

27) FOR STUDENTS: What is their favorite class? What is their least favorite class? What about their general behavior in school?: N/A

28) FOR DRINKERS: What is their favorite drink? What is their least favorite drink? Do they prefer Good Spirits or Seventh Heaven? What's their attitude about and while drinking?: Eley has tried a little alcohol, but after learning about what it can do to a person he's become a lot more aware about how much he's drinking. So while he is open to try certain things, he's also a careful drinker. He does enjoy fruit-flavoured cocktails and dislikes anything too bitter.

29) Do they have any special talents? If so, what are they?: Not especially. XD

30) Have they learned any new skills or abilities in Luceti? If so, what are they? Why and how? He's trying to learn how to best use his new weapon, the sasumata, to disable enemies and protect himself from them. This came from a desire to fight after Edmundo destroyed his tree and belongings and injured him, since he failed to act against him. He has an interest in learning how to heal but hasn't done anything about it yet. He also knows how to bake simple cakes and biscuits though they're pretty average. He's still working at it though! Oh and he learned how to ballroom dance a little, which he does actually enjoy.

31) What kind of habits do they have on drafts? Are they willing to kill or do they prefer to avoid fighting? Eley's been more concerned about distributing supplies and staying away from the fighting on drafts. He might be more equipped to defend himself/others now but would still vastly prefer not to kill another if he can help it.

32) What kind of habits do they have on missions? What is their reason for going on them? What do they intend to use their points for? He hasn't really been on that many and has generally wanted to use the points to the advantage of his friends rather than himself.

33) How long have they been in Luceti? Has that length of time impacted them in any way?: He's been there for over 2 years now! While he's still concerned about his world and his people, Eley does find himself conflicted about wanting to go back home after making many good friends and learning a lot of new things in Luceti. He doesn't want to lose his memories of his time spent there or go back to feeling bitter and suspicious of humans.

34) How do they unwind and get back to normal after a brutal experiment, event, or draft? Generally he'll go to the mountains or somewhere remote and away from people and try to reflect on things himself. If he really doesn't want to be disturbed he'll set up a wind wall around himself. If it's particularly brutal however, he may end up lashing out unintentionally as he tries to deal with his emotions...

35) What is their worst experience from an experiment or kidnapping? Were there any that they actually liked? His worst experience was probably when Ganondorf took over, forcing him to attack his friends and destroy the enclosure along with it. Experiment-wise, most of the things he's been through have been more humiliating than harmful. He did enjoy having a family during Luceti Valley though and kind of misses it...

36) Anything else you want to note?: I'm probably missing something super obvious/imporant. If I am I will edit. XD Uhhh I'm not sure what else really! Feel free to ask any questions you might have!

1) Height: (either canon/current height or just a guess)
4'3-5. A guess for his height. He's only known to share around the same height as his rival and no official number is given.

2) Weight:
I have no idea. Healthy? Healthy enough. He's not underweight and he's not overweight. There we go.

3) Eye color/Hair Color:
Red has very dark brown eyes, looking close to black. His hair is black as well, kind of wild and without much care put into it. It's been slowly growing longer over time but Red doesn't think about it.

4) Age:
10-11. Technically he's placed as 11 in the Japanese material (so the original source), though in the Red/Blue/English versions of the games, they put his age at 10. I personally went along with it since it's supposedly said he's 14 in Gold/Silver/Crystal, so I wanted to give him a year to actually have his adventure. details nobody cares about

I gave him a birthday to go under Aries since I thought the qualitis suited him fairly well. He's technicaaaallly 11 if we say his birth day happening while he's at Luceti, but he doesn't personally count it himself.

5) Physical features:
Not particularly anything noteable. He looks like an average young kid, but he's not too skinny or scraggy looking as he could? He's rather active so he eats regularly.

6) Voice:
I have no idea. I also have no idea how to describe it. Sorry!

7) Who do they live with and how are chores divided in their house/apartment?:
Red lives on the same floor at Karis Renell ([personal profile] spellfeather). and it is she who does most of the cleaning. Red has his own trash basket in his room that he'll use, but he doesn't really collect a lot of anything to keep on his person or to just collect as trash in general.

He does have a mentality of "clean up after yourself" from his mother, though that for him means 'leave that cup or bowl on the kitchen sink side and clean it later'. Apparently, Karis is very much a clean freak.

8) Their favorite (and least favorite, if you want) foods and who does the cooking in their house/apartment?:
Red can actually cook very, very simple things. Things you shouldn't be allowed to mess up too hard or constantly unless you're an anime. Usually he'll buy things from the bars (Seventh Heaven, Mythoria Café, etc) than make anything himself, but for a while when he was at House #11 and it wasn't breakfast time with The Cooks, he'd try and make himself eggs on toast and things like that.

(He did scrub up the pans during those times)

He's made cookies kinda once and helped cook sometimes, but not a lot. In his current residence, Red doesn't cook at all. He's too busy being out all the time so he usually grabs foods from other places. So, unless Karis cooks or prepares anything for him then it's nope whatever.

Red likes spicy foods the best, though he can honestly eat anything as long as it's not too overly sweet (turns out he's not actually a big fan of cheesecake too much, oops). He likes fresh bread (especially the kinds with things in them), curries, scrambled eggs, toast; he likes hard biscuits/cookies like digestive biscuits, anything with fruits and/or oats in them; he likes almond biscuits/kourabiedes and also flapjacks.

ALSO HE LIKES SPICED FRUIT LOAF. Especially if it has walnuts in it.

9) What they do during an average day in Luceti:
TRAIIIIN. After volunteering at the draft in Zompania, and especially after some certain events in July, Red's closed himself more and more into training himself and his pokémon.

In the morning times (after eating with his pokémon or during) he goes to the farm to do whatever there is he can do there, plus saying hello to Hamal, Luke Skywalker's hammath ([personal profile] thefinaljedi). He then - from after that to sometime after lunch - has training with Karis and Saori Kimura ([personal profile] windandrain) independently from each other. Some days he also meets with Helios for things and also some other people possibly. But mainly, Red tries to get a battle dome room (six rooms you guys) and keep it until late at night.

He spaces out what he does inside the battle dome. He wants them to use as much time as possible on training, but training every second is going to be too ridiculous. So sometimes they take food breaks or his pokémon will do their thing and then Red will train while they get to rest. Or he'll focus on one or two pokémon and let the other have a break.

And basically he does nothing else but eat and sleep. Feeding his pokémon though does take some time, especially since Snorlax is working out a lot, so Red likes to make sure they're all eating a good amount. He'll go and train elsewhere if he can't get in the battle dome - he may go to the forest, the beach, the space between the mountains and the forest and thennnn uh maybe not the mountains now - and then yeah he goes back to the Ice Building to sleep. THE END.

10) Their general sense of fashion:
Red's general sense of fashion is that other people are really into it but for him, he wears basically the same sort of clothing each day. Basic tops and basic trousers in a single colour (or maybe he has a shirt with a single stripe through it, WOW). He also has a few training uniforms.

He has no special occasion clothes and his pajamas are just much like his everyday clothes.

11) Do they have any hobbies? Did they come up with these hobbies in Luceti, or was it something they always did?:
HIS HOBBIES ARE TRAINING. And his pokémon. And farming. He doesn't do anything else. In the past he used to be big into playing video games and watching some television, but he doesn't have that call for it as much as he once did. It's all about the pokémon now.

He also likes pokémon battles and going up against other trainers, but that's taken a shelf for the most part at the time due to reasons. Also, he actually likes doing origami but hasn't in a long while. He doesn't mind board games either.

12) Has the situation in Luceti changed their view on certain topics/the way they react to different things?:
Luceti's been testing the ways that Red views things and how he handles himself in a lot of ways. Sometimes, he doesn't really understand, and the most biggest example of viewpoints that's come up for him is about people who do bad things.

To Red, if you do something bad then that means you're bad. Understanding why people do this has been a discussion brought up with two different people. Sort of. At least how things aren't always black or white. Right now, he has a lot of personal feelings about people who do horrendous things because of Team Rocket back home, a large criminal organisation that hurt pokémon and people as they please.

Ginia Solana ([personal profile] whiskytraitorfirefight) had a discusison of this before with him when he commented that he couldn't understand why people do bad things, and then the opinion of whether criminals deserve a second chance or not came up between him and Silver ([personal profile] feistytrader) later on, but in a much messier situation, and in discussion about Team Rocket's own leader.

How much any of it really sunk in or changed his view point isn't so clear to Red, it being a strange thing to even think about motives before "personal self-interest". In other matters, Red also knows more about how different worlds can differ and that is a Thing. A lot about Luceti and the people there around his first few months in had Red thinking about how totally WEIRD things are, but he was told by a friend early in (on the day he arrived, I think) to just accept it as it is. Don't question it too hard, Red.

also does this count i hope it counts

13) Do they have a weapon? If so, do they carry it at all times or just under certain circumstances?:
I need a weapon. Red has a staff that he doesn't always carry around. It's a bo staff (I'M GUESSING) that he's been training in using properly since around June by Saori Kimura. He's also had hand-to-hand self-defence training for some months as well, though it's taken a back seat to the staff training in importance.

His pokémon have fighting capabilities as well, Venusaur being a grass and poison type who can also use her form to bash into things. Snorlax can hit things really hard (and can learn to wield elemental attacks through enough specific training or a disk), and Pikachu is a speedy electrical hitter.

14) Do they have any pets? Would these pets be at their homes, or do they hang out with the character in question?:

no his pokémon are not his pets.

15) Who are their neighbors?:
Karis Renell. There's also the whole ice building if that counts too. And the buildings of that building.

Cilan | Pokemon (anime) || why is this so long brb sobbing

[personal profile] cilantro 2014-07-24 06:30 pm (UTC)(link)
1) Height: About 5'9/5'10 at this point? Silver is taller than him and it's kind of weird to be honest.

2) Weight: fuck if I have any idea, light enough that a grown man was able to princess carry him easily

3) Eye color/Hair Color: Very distinctive green eyes, and bright green hair to match.

4) Age: Who...even really knows? It's never been stated in the anime, but give or take the 2+ years he's been here, he's around 18-19ish at absolute most.

5) Physical features: He's good-looking, but he's also kind of lanky and dorky sometimes in appearance, let's be honest here.

6) Voice: MAMORU MIYANO is the go-to for this. He does have an english VA (the guy who used to voice Sonic the Hedgehog...) but I rely on his original voice in the japanese for him.

7) Who do they live with and how are chores divided in their house/apartment?: House 11 with Ash, Gold, Silver, Crys, and Rin. He keeps his room tidy and keeps the kitchen sparkling, plus will help out with other areas if need be.

8) Their favorite (and least favorite, if you want) foods and who does the cooking in their house/apartment?: OH GOD WE'LL BE HERE ALL DAY IF I LIST CILAN'S FOODS but uh he is partial to sweet things? And yes, he does the cooking for everyone at the house, and occasionally for parties when asked. Rin lives there too now so sometimes he lets Rin cook for that day if he feels so inclined.

9) What they do during an average day in Luceti: Cooking, training with Pokemon, reading at the library, hanging out with friends, that sort of stuff.

10) Their general sense of fashion: Dresses like the classiest gentleman of course. Naturally though, while this is his main attire, he does accessorize and make small changes to it to accompany the appropriate season. (Wearing a scarf and jacket too during the colder seasons, wearing a short sleeved shirt under the vest during the summer, etc.) It might not be too obvious when he's wearing long sleeves, but he has also taken to wearing a bracelet on one of his wrists that Iris made for him before she left.

He also likes dressing up in random costumes, so if given the opportunity to do so, he definitely will dress like a pirate or wear a cape or crossdress or some other weird thing once in a while.

11) Do they have any hobbies? Did they come up with these hobbies in Luceti, or was it something they always did?: Cilan has...like, a million hobbies, actually. He loves Pokemon, cooking, movies, fishing, sciencey stuff, trains, mysteries, etc. etc. While some of those things don't get brought up very often in Luceti, he still manages to keep up with Pokemon and cooking, and he reads about his favorite subjects and watches the movies at the rec center. During the summer he also sneaks off once or twice to go fishing for a little while when no one is around.

12) Has the situation in Luceti changed their view on certain topics/the way they react to different things?: Sort of. He still doesn't like talking about paranormal/supernatural things, but he's been forced to acknowledge that some things, like the spirits here, are in fact real. He's still reluctant to talk to them, but he's at least considered the idea of doing so now, so I guess that's progress. (He still gets easily spooked by ghosts, though.)

He still dislikes Purrloins though despite not having seen one in two years, but that's neither here nor there.

13) Do they have a weapon? If so, do they carry it at all times or just under certain circumstances?: The closest thing to a weapon he would probably be carrying is a knife back when he used to be traveling, but that's just because he's a chef. While he knows it probably is a better idea to keep one on his person around here, he feels a little bad about using stuff like that. After the recent draft though he would probably strongly consider keeping something around now just in case they get pulled into another draft or similar situation.

There are his Pokemon too, but don't call them weapons, that would actually make him angry if you said that.

14) Do they have any pets? Would these pets be at their homes, or do they hang out with the character in question?: Pansage, Crustle, and Stunfisk are his beloved team of Pokemon. He usually has his Pokemon with him at all times, with Pansage being the one most likely to be found outside of the poke'ball at times. He doesn't refer to them as pets though, he thinks of them as his closest friends here, to be honest.

15) Who are their neighbors?: The people over in the Flame building!

16) Who are their best friends in Luceti? How often do they spend time with them and doing what? Well, Pansage is practically his life partner, seeing as they've been together since he was a little kid. But other than Pokemon, there's Ash, a close friend of his from back home. Despite the age difference, Cilan would consider Ash to probably be his best friend, and they hang out a lot. They'll eat together, train together, play games, talk about anything other than their goddamn problems, etc. etc. He had Iris too for a little while, but she's gone home now, much like some of his other friends.

Other than Ash though, he does consider people like Gold, Silver, and Masaomi as good friends, though the latter has pointed out to him that he seems to have more people that he's just nice to rather than actual friends at the moment, so...hrm. Food for thought.

17) On the flip side, is there anyone they actively don’t get along with? How do they interact, and would people know about this? Not really, he's pretty nice to everyone at the moment, though he does occasionally bicker a little with Ash and his friends once in a while. (If he ever got around to meeting Giovanni though he probably would dislike him quite a bit, given his feelings about Team Rocket and all. And I'm certainly not opposed to other possible negative CR...provided that someone can actually get under his skin enough for it.)

18) Their favorite areas/stores/hang-out locations?: The house, the Battle Dome, the library, and the Rec Center.

19) Do they belong to any clubs or organizations? Which ones? Do they go regularly, or just occasionally? Nope. He does have a part-time job of making food like boxed lunches and stuff for the convenience store, though.

20) Wing color and how do they deal with their wings?: Green, like his hair. He doesn't bother with hiding them.

21) Did they change or grow in any way physically since coming to Luceti?: He's gotten a little taller and has recently started letting his hair grow out longer, though it's hard to tell since he hides his mop of hair under hair gel anyway. (Has vaguely considered the idea of letting it be more noticeable, though...)

22) What do they miss the most from home?: His brothers, Iris and his other friends, the Pokemon and the multitude of battles with other trainers, everything. Hell, he almost misses some of the rude people in his life like Burgundy, that's how much he would rather be at home right now than here.

23) What does their handwriting look like? Do they write the way they talk, or is there a clear difference between the two?: Very good penmanship, occasionally even writes in fancy cursive writing. He doesn't use his odd speech quirk too much though when writing, as he usually resorts to writing when he wants to leave a quick message for someone.

24) Is the way they act in person different from the way they act over the journal system?: Nope, he acts exactly the same over the journals as he does in person.

25) Did they gain/lose any personal goals during their stay in Luceti?: Nope, he still hopes to become an S-class Pokemon Connoisseur someday. A new goal however is, in order to pass the time, to try to read as many books as he can here in Luceti's library, so that he can be knowledgeable in other matters outside of just his hobbies too, and to improve his skills as a chef since there are new dishes he's learned to make here that he didn't have back in Unova. If anything, what motivates him the most to try to better himself is a rather simple one: protect his friends and do whatever he can to make them happy during their stay here, Ash in particular being the obvious example.

26) Is Luceti a technological upgrade, or downgrade for them? Have they adapted to these changes well?: Downgrade, because the Pokemon world was really technological and fancy in comparison to the slightly more rural village of Luceti. The Battle Dome though is very impressive.

27) FOR STUDENTS: What is their favorite class? What is their least favorite class? What about their general behavior in school?: Nope, not in school.

28) FOR DRINKERS: What is their favorite drink? What is their least favorite drink? Do they prefer Good Spirits or Seventh Heaven? What's their attitude about and while drinking?: Nope. He'd be lying if he said he hasn't tried wine once before, but otherwise OJ is the choice drink of Pokemon trainers. :|

29) Do they have any special talents? If so, what are they?: As an A-class Pokemon Connoisseur, he's considered to be a talented strategist who can come up with battle strategies for his Pokemon and even other people's Pokemon that would best suit them. He can even teach a couple of new moves to Pokemon, provided it's a move he knows of. (Solarbeam, for example.) Also he's really smart and a great chef who makes really delicious stuff, is really good at fishing and acting, basically being a know-it-all dork.

Also it's not mentioned a lot, but he has a really sharp sense of taste and smell, being able to detect things that others might not. (For example, he was able to tell that something was poisonous once, or even figure out that a liquid was melted ice from a Pokemon attack by smell alone.)

30) Have they learned any new skills or abilities in Luceti? If so, what are they? Why and how? He's probably learned some minor medical treatment here, plus other stuff from books he's read to pass the time. (A good chunk of it is pointless facts, but still.) He's learned how to make some new dishes too as a chef. Outside of hobby related and medical info though, something he knows he should start learning how to do is more fighting himself than just his Pokemon or communicating with the spirits, but...he's sort of just doing some other things on his own at the moment...

31) What kind of habits do they have on drafts? Are they willing to kill or do they prefer to avoid fighting? Avoids killing. He used to try to avoid fighting itself too, but now he's willing to get right down to it and knock the enemy out as quickly as possible. He slightly bent his no-kill rule during the recent draft after the nasty death incident, but mainly in a non-straightforward "I'll try not to, but if they get crushed under a rock somewhere for looking at me or my friends funny, then oh well I'm not gonna let myself feel bad about it for now." rather than actively trying to harm them, but that was a pretty stressful time...

32) What kind of habits do they have on missions? What is their reason for going on them? What do they intend to use their points for? He doesn't go on missions very much, if at all. He would have gone on the recent ones, but he opted out to take care of Ash instead.

33) How long have they been in Luceti? Has that length of time impacted them in any way?: Officially two years as of last week. And yeah, it's definitely changed Cilan quite a bit: while he's still just as obnoxiously talkative and cheerful, he's started suppressing his negative emotions even more than he did back in Unova, mainly because he doesn't want to worry Ash or his other friends with that sort of thing. As a result, he tends to act a lot more happier than he actually is a lot lately, even if people close to him can tell that he's faking it. Thank god King's Game and his recent battle with Ash helped to channel some of that stress into healthier outlets, so he's started feeling a little genuinely better now... And helped to hold off on any potential emotional meltdowns again like the one he had after the dying thing...

Still though, he's also sort of become slightly pessimistic in one particular aspect: while he almost never says anything of that nature out loud, and while he adores his friends and is always encouraging others to never give up, he's also gotten very used to people he likes getting sent away from here. So now when people like Ash or even his own brother say things like "we'll always be there for you, you don't have to take care of things by yourself anymore, etc."...well, he tries not to let it surprise him anymore when they do end up leaving Luceti and he's left dealing with stuff on his own again, so in some respects you could say that he's become a little emotionally distant under the surface when it comes to that sort of thing. (...Weirdly enough though he's been letting people get closer in his personal space more than he would have before Luceti, even going so far as letting Ash hug him which is something he never would have done back at home...)

34) How do they unwind and get back to normal after a brutal experiment, event, or draft? Spends lots and lots of time with his Pokemon, mainly.

35) What is their worst experience from an experiment or kidnapping? Were there any that they actually liked? Let us never speak of the last draft ever again...except that now it's affecting his sleeping habits thanks to the nightmares that won't let him forget about it and just...ugh. The worst part about it isn't even the dying part anymore, it's that he said some awful things to Ash about it at the time and now it's put a strain on their friendship at the moment because they're dumb idiots who won't just talk about and get over it already.

36) Anything else you want to note?: I would be very interested in getting Cilan more friends, or even getting him to actually open up a little more to some of the people he's already known for a while. Anyone who could get him to actually try to talk to the spirits or even give a pointer lesson or two in self-defense could be good, too. ...And heck, I'm open to the idea of dating too, because why the heck not.

Also Ash and Cilan are ridiculous and need to stop it

Karis Renel | Original Character

[personal profile] spellfeather 2014-07-24 08:18 pm (UTC)(link)
1) Height: 5'3"

2) Weight: 110 lbs (before applying muscle gained in Luceti and resistances.)

3) Eye color/Hair Color: Amber eyes and snow white hair

4) Age: 21

5) Physical features: As an Alnorian, she's got feathers on her legs from the knees down to her ankles, and from there, scales. Her body type also has caused many to mistake her as a guy, which Karis always finds amusing.

6) Voice: Karis's voice is rather ambiguous when it comes to gender identity.

7) Who do they live with and how are chores divided in their house/apartment?: She lives on her own in her apartment, but shares a floor with Red, so she does all the chores in her apartment and makes sure the rest of the floor, despite the mostly empty rooms, is also cleaned. She also checks in on Red from time to time.

8) Their favorite (and least favorite, if you want) foods and who does the cooking in their house/apartment?: She's a HUGE fan of anything that involves fish, tuna being the more favored type. Her least favorites are anything that's feels and tastes gooey. Keep that stuff away. Karis can't cook, save for anything that's not simple and out of a box, so she usually ends up at Seventh Heaven for her main meals.

9) What they do during an average day in Luceti: Mornings are filled with hand-to-hand combat training with Rock Lee and wing training, afterword she takes a quick break and heads to the library to check for any spellbooks from her world and maybe a few good stories to read before bed. When lunch rolls around, she's at the Seventh Heaven before heading to the battle dome with magic training for Red, as well as learning more about the world of Pokemon. The rest of the day Karis is left to herself, which she usually spends the time meditating and keeping up with her magic up until dinner. The rest of the night is then spent either copying down runes from her spellbooks, or simply reading a good story.

10) Their general sense of fashion: T-shirts, hoodies, jeans, shorts, shoes or boots. She usually wears solid colors, though sometimes she'll have something that's got a second color to it. One constant that she always wears is her fingerless gloves, but other than that, her fashion sense is pretty bland.

11) Do they have any hobbies? Did they come up with these hobbies in Luceti, or was it something they always did?: Does excessive training count?

12) Has the situation in Luceti changed their view on certain topics/the way they react to different things?: Not really?

13) Do they have a weapon? If so, do they carry it at all times or just under certain circumstances?: She only has a single pistol so far, but she only carries it around when outside of Luceti.

14) Do they have any pets? Would these pets be at their homes, or do they hang out with the character in question?: Nope.

15) Who are their neighbors?: Everyone in the ice building.

16) Who are their best friends in Luceti? How often do they spend time with them and doing what? Karis doesn't really consider anyone to be her best friend, yet, and getting to that point may take awhile.

17) On the flip side, is there anyone they actively don’t get along with? How do they interact, and would people know about this? Vegeta isn't someone she's too fond of, but after blowing up one of the altars in Zompania, she'll avoid butting heads with him at all costs.

18) Their favorite areas/stores/hang-out locations?: Battle Dome, library, Seventh Heaven, and the Ice building.

19) Do they belong to any clubs or organizations? Which ones? Do they go regularly, or just occasionally? Organizations? Pfft. She's a lone pirate.

20) Wing color and how do they deal with their wings?: They're sky blue that gradually darken to black the closer you get to the tips. Karis usually leaves them out in the open and generally ignores them.

21) Did they change or grow in any way physically since coming to Luceti?: She's starting to pack some muscle I guess?

22) What do they miss the most from home?: Her crewmates and her mother, but other than that, she doesn't really miss much of anything.

23) What does their handwriting look like? Do they write the way they talk, or is there a clear difference between the two?: Karis's handwriting is extremely neat and clear, but nothing fancy. She's more articulate with her writing than she is when she speaks.

24) Is the way they act in person different from the way they act over the journal system?: Nope.

25) Did they gain/lose any personal goals during their stay in Luceti?: She's gained a few goals, and one is to learn how to blow holes in walls like Vegeta can (that probably won't happen, but hey, she's trying). Karis really hasn't lost any goals though, just merely put them aside for now.

26) Is Luceti a technological upgrade, or downgrade for them? Have they adapted to these changes well?: It is a GIGANTIC downgrade. At first, it was rather annoying/frustrating that there was a distinct lack of numerous tools that was so very common in her world for everyday living, but she's learned to cope with it.

27) FOR STUDENTS: What is their favorite class? What is their least favorite class? What about their general behavior in school?: 2kewl4skool

28) FOR DRINKERS: What is their favorite drink? What is their least favorite drink? Do they prefer Good Spirits or Seventh Heaven? What's their attitude about and while drinking?: Good Spirits for sure, and the Going Merry has one her heart when it comes to drinks. The more Karis drinks, the more open she gets, and the more she wants to hug people...

29) Do they have any special talents? If so, what are they?: Magic is a huge part of her. She's able to combine that magic with technology, and her past training has made her an accomplished spellslinger with dangerous accuracy.

30) Have they learned any new skills or abilities in Luceti? If so, what are they? Why and how? She's trying to learn new skills, but so far, the only thing she's got running for her is what she learns from Rock Lee. (Still working on trying to blow holes in walls.)

31) What kind of habits do they have on drafts? Are they willing to kill or do they prefer to avoid fighting? Kill first ask questions later, unless of course, whoever she has her gun pointed at is needed for information, but other than that, she won't hesitate to bring anyone down with a bullet between their eyes.

32) What kind of habits do they have on missions? What is their reason for going on them? What do they intend to use their points for? She hasn't gone on any missions yet, but when she does, she'll be using points to get parts for a pistol that can handle arcane energy to its max.

33) How long have they been in Luceti? Has that length of time impacted them in any way?: Karis has been around since early February. It hasn't brought about much impact, but it's a great relief to be in Luceti instead of her own world.

34) How do they unwind and get back to normal after a brutal experiment, event, or draft? She tries to go on like her business as usual, though may remain in her apartment for awhile instead of interacting with anyone or training.

35) What is their worst experience from an experiment or kidnapping? Were there any that they actually liked? The only bad experiment that Karis has experience is enclosure wide ones. The horoscopes were an absolute pain, and actually left her awake for twenty-four hours, it's amazing that she actually got up the next day. All others were okay, nothing enjoyable, but nothing she absolutely hated either.

36) Anything else you want to note?: She's a bad influence. Her leg feathers molt early June, she's a clean freak, and she aspires to fly one day (without being turned into a bird, thank you). She does what she wants 'cause a pirate is free, she is a pirate.

Questions 1-12

[personal profile] justdid 2014-07-24 09:16 pm (UTC)(link)
1) Height: 5'5" (plus a few inches of hair?)

2) Weight: he entered luceti underweight and most likely literally starving. But I'm going to go out on a limb and say he's closer to a healthy weight now even if he's still pretty thin it's all those airbender fruit pies he steals

3) Eye color/Hair Color: black hair, light brown eyes.

4) Age: 18! He probably looks a little younger though. You know given that he is kind of short for a guy and built like a twig with muscles.

5) Physical features: his hair is a lot longer in the front then it is in the back. He finger combs it straight up with his own hair oil (did I mention he doesn't bathe a lot and is actually smelly and gross?) Also since the Zompania draft totally ruined his clothing he wears t shirts with kittens and stuff on them.

6) Voice: here is a clip where he shows off his mad parkour skills and make a bunch of birds poop on people

7) Who do they live with and how are chores divided in their house/apartment?: he lives in House 56 with the rest of the avatar crew. I dunno how chores are specifically divided up but everyone is expected to chip in around the house. He doesn't really mind picking up after himself since he doesn't even have a lot of stuff to begin with. Wan may be an unhygienic teenage boy but he is considerate.

8) Their favorite (and least favorite, if you want) foods and who does the cooking in their house/apartment?: All food is delicious to him. House rules means everyone eats together and helps out with the process. Airbender food is probably his favorite though. Especially the fruit pies.

9) What they do during an average day in Luceti: Firebending training with Sifu Zuzu, communing (meaning: feed bread to) the local wildlife. He likes to explore places like the woods (which are also pretty nice because nothing is trying to kill him there). Maybe go bother his friends if he's bored.

10) Their general sense of fashion: Shorts, socks and sandals, sweatbands on his wrists, and t-shirts with adorable animals on him. He literally has no concept of fashion and wears what's comfortable. The adorable (and kind of tacky) animal shirts are because he likes animals.

11) Do they have any hobbies? Did they come up with these hobbies in Luceti, or was it something they always did?: does accidentally lighting things on fire count as a hobby? Yeah this was covered in his daily activities for the most part. Someone needs to show him the magic of movies and video games.

12) Has the situation in Luceti changed their view on certain topics/the way they react to different things?:
Wan is learning how to trust, and even befriend spirits. It is kind of a process and there are some hiccups along the way (mostly post draft paranoia) but he is learning! It really does not help his case that he doesn't have much reason to believe that he was not carried off by some bird spirit and is now tripping somewhere out in the wilds. Because spirits can totally posses people and give them deformities like that and make you go insane in his era. It happened to one of his best friends. who was also probably his only parental figure too whoops

the zompania draft in and of itself has some long term aftermath too, because Wan really hates being helpless and not being able to save people and fix things. So having to struggle to stay alive in battle and then hear people screaming all night and trying to save them only to get there in time for the piles and piles of corpses... well. It was traumatic.

Loki

[personal profile] complicatedliar 2014-07-25 03:15 am (UTC)(link)
1) Height: 6'2"

2) Weight: 180-ish

3) Eye color/Hair Color: Eyes green, hair black

4) Age: Over 1000, looks maybe 30

5) Physical features: I think the icons cover it, really.

6) Voice: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aaWtOtrXtXs

7) Who do they live with and how are chores divided in their house/apartment?: Loki lives with Thor and (whether they admit it or not) Rogue. Rogue does all of the cooking. Loki does the dishes and takes care of firewood int he winter. Thor does the laundry and vacuums/sweeps. Loki does the dusting because no one is allowed to touch his shelves but him. The rest of the cleaning and chores is split fairly equitably between the three.

8) Their favorite (and least favorite, if you want) foods and who does the cooking in their house/apartment?: Loki generally doesn't care about food, though Rogue's gotten him to like some vegetarian dishes and salads. And he likes eggs.

9) What they do during an average day in Luceti: Loki takes Vakri out for a ride every day and spends a significant amount of time at the stable. He goes to the library almost daily to check for new books that catch his interest. He also often will sit at the fountain and read afterward, or have a chess set with him if anyone interesting is around. And daily he trains at the battle dome, both alone and with Rogue. While still blind, he's spending all of his free time at the coffee shop, just to be around people; when not blind he stays at home.

10) Their general sense of fashion: Tunic and leather trousers. Leather, leather, leather. He's started wearing suits, though. And the occasional jeans and well-fitting t-shirt, though he feels rather naked that way. And not naked in a happy way.

11) Do they have any hobbies? Did they come up with these hobbies in Luceti, or was it something they always did?: Reading, horseback riding, strategy games, working on magic. He also knits now, because Rapunzel taught him and it gave him something to do with his hands.

12) Has the situation in Luceti changed their view on certain topics/the way they react to different things?: Luceti has forced Loki to change a lot. If nothing else, he's in a position where he can only act violently unless attacked first (though he's pretty good at goading people who annoy him) because he doesn't want Steve Rogers up his ass for the rest of forever.

The village has also had the kind of hilarious effect of making him realize that in the grand scheme of things, he gets along with mortals much better than he got along with nearly anyone in Asgard. Humans are generally more accepting if him being a perverse, magical asshole and as a whole more willing to play verbal games and have his kind of fun. This isn't going to turn him into a bleeding heart save the mortals sort like Thor, but it means he'll actually make friends, and enjoy being around them even if they are mortal.

Luceti has also helped him complete his reconciliation with Thor, which began when he was back in Asgard. They're now getting along shockingly well, which means they only get in a rolling in the mud fight about once every couple of weeks.

Luceti, plus the shock of having lost his mother at home, has made him willing to be a bit more emotionally open to a select set of people, and to want to make and keep friends. While he's still a manipulative, lying asshat, he's developed a minor protective streak because he's been reminded of just how much it hurts to lose someone you care about--and also that in Asgard, he only has Thor any more, and Thor thinks he's dead. In Luceti, he has people who care about him, and whom he cares about, so he will keep them as close as he can.

13) Do they have a weapon? If so, do they carry it at all times or just under certain circumstances?: Loki has a plethora of daggers. He has them with him at all times, most of them carried in magical space.

14) Do they have any pets? Would these pets be at their homes, or do they hang out with the character in question?: Loki has his horse, Vakri, who is at the stable most of the time. He also has a black cat, named Sif, and she mostly stays at home.

15) Who are their neighbors?: I think his closest neighbors are the Avatar folks.

16) Who are their best friends in Luceti? How often do they spend time with them and doing what? Rogue is definitely his best friend, and they spend a lot of time together, just doing ordinary living stuff, training, reading, and so on. Billy is basically his little brother, and together they do magic lessons and occasionally do things like watch movies if Billy wants to. He also hangs out with Jack and Eugene. With Jack, he mostly reads.

17) On the flip side, is there anyone they actively don’t get along with? How do they interact, and would people know about this? He's still playing the Polite Game with Saori. He and Steve Rogers get along creepily well at times, but then they have a nasty argument and life returns to normal. Most everyone whom he could be bothered to actively want to murder aren't around any more.

18) Their favorite areas/stores/hang-out locations?: Library, coffee shop, fountain, stable, item shop when he wants to bug Rogue.

19) Do they belong to any clubs or organizations? Which ones? Do they go regularly, or just occasionally? He doesn't really any more. He was part of the Art Club, but now that Ikki's gone he doesn't feel motivated to go any longer.

20) Wing color and how do they deal with their wings?: Loki's wing's are charcoal gray. He generally ignores them and has his clothing tailored around them, though he does have armor for them during battle.

21) Did they change or grow in any way physically since coming to Luceti?: Instead of a villain mullet, he's got his hair short and it's ridiculously curly.

22) What do they miss the most from home?: Mom. ;;

23) What does their handwriting look like? Do they write the way they talk, or is there a clear difference between the two?: His handwriting is very spiky and angular, the sorry if thing you'd expect from someone who literally writes in runes. He writes very similarly to how he speaks, unless actively trying to mess with someone.

24) Is the way they act in person different from the way they act over the journal system?: He's generally a giant space asshole wherever he's talking, unless there's a particular angle he's trying to work.

25) Did they gain/lose any personal goals during their stay in Luceti?: Well, back home he's effectively now king after murdering Odin and taking his place. In Luceti, he's not, but who the hell wants to be king of such an insignificant pond? His main goal is escape on his terms, since he's won so nicely back at home now.

26) Is Luceti a technological upgrade, or downgrade for them? Have they adapted to these changes well?: Such a downgrade. But he can deal. There are books.

27) FOR STUDENTS: What is their favorite class? What is their least favorite class? What about their general behavior in school?:

28) FOR DRINKERS: What is their favorite drink? What is their least favorite drink? Do they prefer Good Spirits or Seventh Heaven? What's their attitude about and while drinking?: Good Spirits, and he likes mead, or a good glass of red wine. Vodka and whiskey are also okay.

29) Do they have any special talents? If so, what are they?: Magical asshole, super genius.

30) Have they learned any new skills or abilities in Luceti? If so, what are they? Why and how? He's learned to knit. And also kind of knows some water bending thanks to the Total Recall event. He can't actually use it, but some of the energy dynamics are interesting and useful.

31) What kind of habits do they have on drafts? Are they willing to kill or do they prefer to avoid fighting? He's all too happy to kill. Generally doesn't sleep during drafts and lone wolfs it, using his own judgment on how to most effectively use his time. For the most part he just wants to get through it and get back to the village; he doesn't want to die for any of these assholes. But he'll keep an eye out for the people he likes.

32) What kind of habits do they have on missions? What is their reason for going on them? What do they intend to use their points for? Very similar to drafts. He's not much of a team player and gets very pissy when strategy is involved and people don't listen to him enough. Generally he does missions because he's bored and it's a change of scenery, and then it's usually research because that's the kind he likes. His points generally go for booze.

33) How long have they been in Luceti? Has that length of time impacted them in any way?: Loki's been in Luceti for nearly two years now. It's made him a lot closer to some people, particularly his girlfriend. This mostly has impacted his plans because he would like to find a way to take her home with him, not that she'd probably go for that.

34) How do they unwind and get back to normal after a brutal experiment, event, or draft? He exercises and drinks himself into enough of a stupor that he can sleep and never talks about it. Loki deals with things in all the healthiest ways. If he's in a particularly bad way, he might try to attempt to talk to Billy, Rogue, or Jack.

35) What is their worst experience from an experiment or kidnapping? Were there any that they actually liked? Worst would be the kidnapping that ended with his mouth getting sewn shut again. There aren't any he's liked. The recent Total Recall experiment has screwed him up a bit thanks to suddenly having experienced a life with Jack and Eugene as Asgardians; it's making for feeling far too close to them as humans now.

36) Anything else you want to note?: I play him as bi and naturally rather promiscuous, though he's doing his best for Rogue. I also headcanon that he actually really likes children, due to a story from myth where he goes to Midgard to save a crippled child and his family from a troll when none if the other gods could be bothered. Children are naturally chaotic, imaginative, non judgmental, and mischievous, which make them his kind of people anyway. He is wont to gravitate toward misfits. I've never bought into the idea of him having a specific hate on for humans; I think he just generally doesn't like people and doesn't think humans are anything at all special. But they're funny when you poke them with a sharp stick.
disastergirl: (☆ pose~!)

[personal profile] disastergirl 2014-07-25 03:46 am (UTC)(link)
1) Height: Canonly 5'1'', but she's somewhere around 5'6'' now because I'm a nerd who wanted to make her the same height as Maya.

2) Weight: I have no idea. Even Marvellous Supporters says her weight is "secret". She's fairly skinny, though.

3) Eye color/Hair Color: Brown eyes, blonde hair.

4) Age: Canonly 14, but she'll be 17 on the 30th.

5) Physical features: Very long, slightly wavy hair. (She's long overdue for a haircut.) She has those princess curls too. It doesn't show up in many of her icons, but she has freckles!

6) Voice: Her voice actress is Ikue Ootani. Yes, Pikachu. She has a dub voice as a cameo in WA4, but I have no idea who voiced her and it was only one or two lines. (Plus the acting in that cameo is AWFUL.)

7) Who do they live with and how are chores divided in their house/apartment?: She lives by herself, so she does all the chores. Even before coming to Luceti she was used to doing chores, so it doesn't bother her.

8) Their favorite (and least favorite, if you want) foods and who does the cooking in their house/apartment?: She cooks for herself, but sometimes she goes out to eat instead. She'll eat anything because she doesn't like to waste food, but she likes sweet and spicy foods and dislikes sour foods. She likes strawberry shortcake in particular.

9) What they do during an average day in Luceti: Training! She spends a lot of time in the battledome these days. In fact, she probably has more muscle than she did when she arrived. Practicing her magic also takes up a lot of her time, and she's trying to contact Tsinku as well. Other than that, she's usually doing chores, shopping, wandering around... In other words, she does whatever she pleases.

10) Their general sense of fashion: She prefers brightly coloured clothing in general. Her wardrobe is very feminine, but she won't shy away from any clothes that look good on her. The scarf and hair ribbon are usual mainstays, though.

11) Do they have any hobbies? Did they come up with these hobbies in Luceti, or was it something they always did?: She likes to read, so having a library around is pretty awesome. At home she didn't have the money to go around buying new books, so she's made it a personal mission to read as many as possible while she can. Jane also comes down with cases of wanderlust frequently, although her case isn't quite as bad as Rudy's. She and Crow have also taken a ship for themselves, which she's still learning about.

12) Has the situation in Luceti changed their view on certain topics/the way they react to different things?: She's more willing to cut people some slack, and she's a bit nicer in general. In that sense she's grown up a bit, but she's still learning. Still hates demons, though!

13) Do they have a weapon? If so, do they carry it at all times or just under certain circumstances?: She has her ARM, Flegeljahre, which she takes with her wherever she goes.

14) Do they have any pets? Would these pets be at their homes, or do they hang out with the character in question?: No on both counts, but if she did have a pet it would probably be a cat.

15) Who are their neighbors?: Rudy on the right and Clove and Cato on the left.

16) Who are their best friends in Luceti? How often do they spend time with them and doing what? Probably Rudy and Crow. Rudy's her neighbor so she probably spends more time with him, but she's spent a lot of time being a dork with Crow.

17) On the flip side, is there anyone they actively don’t get along with? How do they interact, and would people know about this? Um. She clashes with a lot of people. If she doesn't get along with someone she usually just avoids them. Maaaaaaybe Isaac? She's still bitter about him ruining her fun.

18) Their favorite areas/stores/hang-out locations?: She used to like dropping in at All Passions, but she hasn't been there since Beat left. :( She only goes where she likes anyway, so it's hard to say that she has a favourite place to go.

19) Do they belong to any clubs or organizations? Which ones? Do they go regularly, or just occasionally?: Nnnnnnope! She actively criticized the last organization she ran into, actually. SHE IS A LONE WOLF.

20) Wing color and how do they deal with their wings?: Orange with white tips. She finds it uncomfortable to cover them up, so they're always in plain view. Most of the time she forgets they're there.

21) Did they change or grow in any way physically since coming to Luceti?: Yes!

22) What do they miss the most from home?: Her hometown and especially the people in it. Also her mother now that she knows how she died.

23) What does their handwriting look like? Do they write the way they talk, or is there a clear difference between the two?: You know those super overdone handwritten fonts that are on every free font site ever? That's her handwriting in a nutshell.

24) Is the way they act in person different from the way they act over the journal system?: If it's voice or video, no. If it's written, then she's a bit more formal and proper.

25) Did they gain/lose any personal goals during their stay in Luceti?: She can't help her family's orphanage while she's in Luceti. She's constantly worrying if they're alright. :(

26) Is Luceti a technological upgrade, or downgrade for them? Have they adapted to these changes well?: UPGRADE. A huge upgrade. And no, she hasn't 100% adjusted yet.

27) FOR STUDENTS: What is their favorite class? What is their least favorite class? What about their general behavior in school?: lol like she could sit still long enough for school

28) FOR DRINKERS: What is their favorite drink? What is their least favorite drink? Do they prefer Good Spirits or Seventh Heaven? What's their attitude about and while drinking?: She doesn't like whisky. Overall her tastes tend to skew toward sweeter drinks. She doesn't see why people make such a big deal over drinking, but she's also the type to challenge people to drinking contests, soooo...

29) Do they have any special talents? If so, what are they?: She has her Calamity skills and Mystic from canon, but most of them are kind of hard to implement in an RP context due to being very much rooted in gameplay mechanics.

30) Have they learned any new skills or abilities in Luceti? If so, what are they? Why and how? Magic! She has fire, wind and healing magic, and she's working on lightning magic. Basically she felt it would come in handy.

31) What kind of habits do they have on drafts? Are they willing to kill or do they prefer to avoid fighting? She tends to stay off the front lines. She would much rather act as a sniper of sorts or take on a more utilitarian role instead of going for brute force. She's willing to kill, but only if she's forced to.

32) What kind of habits do they have on missions? What is their reason for going on them? What do they intend to use their points for? She rarely goes on missions, but she approaches drafts and missions in similar ways. Currently she's hoarding her points just in case she's in a pinch somewhere down the line.

33) How long have they been in Luceti? Has that length of time impacted them in any way?: Over two years. In that time she's gotten used to Luceti, but her desire to go home hasn't lessened. She's starting to lose hope, though.

34) How do they unwind and get back to normal after a brutal experiment, event, or draft? She bottles it up and pretends nothing is wrong. When she gets to a boiling point she usually works off her frustration in the battledome or ventures off into the wilderness until she feels better. Failing that, she'll just shut herself up in her room.

35) What is their worst experience from an experiment or kidnapping? Were there any that they actually liked? Most of the experiments she's been though are more annoying than emotionally or physically damaging. She did not like any of them. :|

36) Anything else you want to note?: Nah.

Hilda!!!

[personal profile] sosayi 2014-07-25 06:32 am (UTC)(link)
1) Height: I headcanon her at a pretty solid 5'6", but she's gonna cap off at around 5'9". Taller than her hero princess.

2) Weight: Also headcanoning this as liiike 130 lbs. Her clothes aren't that loose after all.

3) Eye color/Hair Color: Red eyes, purple hair. Natural and meant to be that way. All of Lorule seems to be this way.

4) Age: 16, looks exactly as she should.

5) Physical features: Her hair's down to her waist. She's actually rather tanned by genetics, in comparison to her Zelda's fair skin.

6) Voice: A clear, commanding sort of voice - though it's devoid of the haughtiness you'd expect out of a princess. It's a voice you'd think is "elegant" when you listen to it, with a certain like of musical nuance to it. When she's annoyed, it comes out as curt and even, but when she's speaking to someone she's friends with privately it usually softens at the end by habit. Otherwise, the general tone's at the top.

7) Who do they live with and how are chores divided in their house/apartment?: Hilda lives by herself, and she's learned to do them. At least with cleaning. She gets ready-made food from other sources around the village since she doesn't trust herself to cook without burning it. She's a princess, not a miracle worker.

8) Their favorite (and least favorite, if you want) foods and who does the cooking in their house/apartment?: She doesn't do her own cooking, for one. Her favorite food includes cheese danish and similar flavored pastries from the Bakery, and her least favorite is anything greasy. Hilda also likes leafy greens.

9) What they do during an average day in Luceti: On an average day, Hilda goes to do her work at the Tsukino Shrine, read a little at the library, challenge Masaomi wherever he may be (let's make a list btw Charles), and meditate at night under the fake stars. Usually on the balcony provided at Flame Building, but if she's feel particularly lonely she'll go sit on the fountain and listen to the night sounds. Hilda also takes time out of her day to hang out with Crys or Minako - provided they're not busy and it's okay. She wants to get to know them more. Girl talk and stuff.

10) Their general sense of fashion: What do you mean, not in their usual canon get up? At some point she's going shopping with Crys and/or Minako and/or Silver, so she'll probably have something more colorful... Pastels probably. Light blouses and frills. And knee-length skirts. Because fuck your trousers and that's as short as she's going despite the weather.

11) Do they have any hobbies? Did they come up with these hobbies in Luceti, or was it something they always did?: Hilda has always had a hobby of watching the starts, provided the skies are clear enough, and that continues in Luceti as well. Though she hates that they're fake. A new one includes collecting things, such as flowers and potentially cursed objects.

12) Has the situation in Luceti changed their view on certain topics/the way they react to different things?: Not really. Her thoughts have just adapted to the situation, they're still the same principles. A world is being destroyed somehow and is suffering while she's in a relatively safe position? She wants to help however she can. That's just how it is.

13) Do they have a weapon? If so, do they carry it at all times or just under certain circumstances?: Hilda always has her staff with her. It's a symbol of her duty back home and something she can't let go of just yet.

14) Do they have any pets? Would these pets be at their homes, or do they hang out with the character in question?: No pets. Unfortunately.

15) Who are their neighbors?: The only one she cares about is Masaomi in the room above her (Shikamaru lives there too). However, both Crys and Silver live nearby in House 11, so that's alright too.

16) Who are their best friends in Luceti? How often do they spend time with them and doing what? Hilda has no one she considers a best friend. Everyone is an "ally" and aquaintance at best... But she happens to meet Masaomi by "pure coincidence" quite often and challenges him to a number of things.

17) On the flip side, is there anyone they actively don’t get along with? How do they interact, and would people know about this? She doesn't seem to get along with Masaomi (they are rivals) and this is quite clear by her general declaration of challenges towards him in any given location. Including his apartment and where he works.

18) Their favorite areas/stores/hang-out locations?: Her favorite location is absolutely the cherry blossom hill. It's got a sense of peace in it, and while she doesn't feel "at home" there it definitely eases her mind from whatever concern she's got. Otherwise, she's fond of the bakery and likes seeing all the sweets. Though she only takes the danishes.

19) Do they belong to any clubs or organizations? Which ones? Do they go regularly, or just occasionally? Hilda works at the Tsukino Shrine and goes often.

20) Wing color and how do they deal with their wings?: Hers is a royal purple color and they're always out. Hilda takes very good care of them and practices in the mirror to not let them show her true feelings.

21) Did they change or grow in any way physically since coming to Luceti?: Not yet! Her hair grows slow because it's so long.

22) What do they miss the most from home?: She just misses home. It was dying and doomed, but it was her dying and doomed home.

23) What does their handwriting look like? Do they write the way they talk, or is there a clear difference between the two?: It's a very concise, but slanted to the right to the point of they're almost pressed together. But it seems elegant. There's no difference between her speaking and writing.

24) Is the way they act in person different from the way they act over the journal system?: Nope. Not at all.

25) Did they gain/lose any personal goals during their stay in Luceti?: Hilda was on the edge of saving Lorule when she came. Ha. Haha.

26) Is Luceti a technological upgrade, or downgrade for them? Have they adapted to these changes well?: Absolutely an upgrade. Hilda prefers candles and the sun to the artificial lighting, and hasn't touched anything but the fridge electronics-wise in the kitchen. The toliet is something she likes. So is the sink. And shower. But she prefers bathing.

27) FOR STUDENTS: What is their favorite class? What is their least favorite class? What about their general behavior in school?: She doesn't go to school.

28) FOR DRINKERS: What is their favorite drink? What is their least favorite drink? Do they prefer Good Spirits or Seventh Heaven? What's their attitude about and while drinking?: She hasn't tried any alcohol yet, but she'd probably prefer wines or fruity drinks. Social drinking would be her calling.

29) Do they have any special talents? If so, what are they?: Hilda has an innate knack for knowing the time down to the second. She can also can count down as high as ten minutes in seconds, though it costs her dignity as her ears flick up and down like a clock's pendelum without her knowledge. She's also very good at riddles.

30) Have they learned any new skills or abilities in Luceti? If so, what are they? Why and how? So far, Hilda has learned to calculate in the metric system marginally from Masaomi and later from books, first aid from observation of others during the Zompania draft, and basic sewing from books. The first was pretty much trivia she found useful, the second was necessary, and the third is her own interest.

Hilda also knows a good deal from Twila, but it's just the "beginning" stuff. Nothing that requires an allergy yet - though she gets tired often and usually delgates to practicing at night before bedtime, even if it ends up in staring into space. She hasn't caught ill yet, but she will soon enough. Her papercuts don't heal fast either.

31) What kind of habits do they have on drafts? Are they willing to kill or do they prefer to avoid fighting? Hilda avoids fighting and focuses on healing instead, but if put up on defense she actually wouldn't hesitate to obliberate her foes. It's just how it goes.

32) What kind of habits do they have on missions? What is their reason for going on them? What do they intend to use their points for? Hilda haves a habit of picking up useful objects if she can. This can range from things on her own interest to things that will be used to decorate her apartment. Actually, they're usual the same thing. She goes on missions in order to see more of the world's circumstances so she doesn't feel so situationally ignorant and to know what she needs to learn in order to be more of a help. Hilda wouldn't know what to do with her points, so they'd probably just save up...

33) How long have they been in Luceti? Has that length of time impacted them in any way?: She's been here a short two months, but it's impacted her a lot since she's been here. The time Hilda has here feels much longer than it rightfully has been. There's a lot of people here, not just inside the enclosure, and though she is not the ruler of this land she feels very strongly that she should do all she can to help restore prosperity and peace. In return she's expecting to be returned to her land. Hilda's doing what she can here for now.

34) How do they unwind and get back to normal after a brutal experiment, event, or draft? Hilda unwinds by watching the false stars and meditating in the darkness. Also by challenging Masaomi now. And possibly shopping with others.

35) What is their worst experience from an experiment or kidnapping? Were there any that they actually liked? She hasn't really experienced any of that, but the "being sent back home" one sounded cool for obvious reasons. She's kind of gotten used to the passive time shifts.

36) Anything else you want to note?: Hilda's apartment has three rooms, of course, and one is slowly becoming a "research room" by virtue of the things she's collecting. The glass-ball candles from the temple ruins light her place at night after she fixed them up, and similarly a drape from the same place acts as a sort of curtain to replace the drab ones. It's sparse otherwise, with only a cactus as her companion. Just so we're clear. She needs more stuff.

She's attempted once more to contact Nala since she knows the kind of feeling spirits have because of Twila and has been successful recently, so she's trying to keep an eye out for people and wildlife she can practice her healing on. On that line, Hilda also likes to do practice her first aid. Please be the one she practices on. Please volunteer yourself.

... Lately as well, she's been going in and out of the Clothes Shop - but never taking any pieces out. At night, she can be found smuggling out dresses she's going to choose from for Masaomi and Silver to wear. They're always the colors of yellow and lavender and often ridiculously pretty and poofy.

As for other things... Hilda likes to sing and is very good at it, though the only songs she'll be caught singing are ones that have infected her culture. About thieves and walking a narrow path than facing the boss's wrath. She can't sight read, but she picks up things easily by ear.

Also she can kind of paint but it's more simplistic than anything.

Pilouette Bonheur

[personal profile] ribbonbon 2014-07-25 08:30 am (UTC)(link)
1) Height: 5' 2"

2) Weight: Between 110 - 120 lbs

3) Eye color/Hair Color: Blue/Blonde

4) Age: 18; she'll be 19 in September. She never celebrates her birthday, though, and hasn't told anyone when it is anyway.

5) Physical features: Nothing that really stands out. Maybe her hair? She always has it tied up in a ponytail that has a noticeable flip at the end.

6) Voice: Kind of like a young Sandy Duncan but without the ability to sing well and more "likes" and "totallys".

7) Who do they live with and how are chores divided in their house/apartment?: She lives on her own in her apartment and does everything herself. Doing everything herself makes her feel just a little more capable/like she has more control of her life.

8) Their favorite (and least favorite, if you want) foods and who does the cooking in their house/apartment?: She does the cooking, too! Her favorite food is potato soup, but she'll eat just about anything. What she's best at making is sweets and baked goods, but she's gradually teaching herself to cook more complicated things. She mostly likes making simple things like soup and meatloaf, though.

9) What they do during an average day in Luceti: Since she's done with school now, she studies first aid and has started spending more time wandering around the woods to familiarize herself with the area. She also does work at the Welcome Center.

10) Their general sense of fashion: She dresses pretty simply; button up shirts and sweater vests, though she can go a little more dressy for special ocassions. She almost always wears a big ribbon in her hair.

11) Do they have any hobbies? Did they come up with these hobbies in Luceti, or was it something they always did?: She bakes, but that's something she's always done. She's taken to reading a bit more these days, too. Mostly cookbooks and first aid books, but she might occasionally look at a book of fairytales or try to read a romance novel (once she hits the steamy parts she just can't continue.) She was also lucky enough to find her cellphone, so every once in a while, she'll snap a photo of something.

12) Has the situation in Luceti changed their view on certain topics/the way they react to different things?: It's always something she's struggled with a little bit, but she's become more driven to learn and find ways to contribute and help out. However, she's also become less and less trusting of the Malnosso over time. She's gotten used to the whole "Weird shit happening out of nowhere" thing as well. it still gets a reaction out of her, but she doesn't freak out the way she used to. Also, while she still tries to come off as cool and mature, she's starting to grow up and see what being an adult actually is as opposed to what she thought it was for a long time.

13) Do they have a weapon? If so, do they carry it at all times or just under certain circumstances?: She has a taser that Cross gave her last Christmas. She's been really hesitant to carry it around, but after Zompania, she'll probably be more willing to have it on hand during drafts.

14) Do they have any pets? Would these pets be at their homes, or do they hang out with the character in question?: No pets.

15) Who are their neighbors?: Her only same-floor neighbor in Ice Building is Utena Tenjou, but she doesn't really know her very well. ...She should probably get to know the other people living in Ice Building better.

16) Who are their best friends in Luceti? How often do they spend time with them and doing what? Her best friends are probably Rin and Mia. I like to think she hangs out with each of them pretty regularly and spends most of the time chatting, though she sometimes studies and brushes up on her first aid skills when she's with Mia.

17) On the flip side, is there anyone they actively don’t get along with? How do they interact, and would people know about this? No one she really doesn't get along with. But the annoyance Panda left in her heart will live on forever.

18) Their favorite areas/stores/hang-out locations?: Probably the bakery and the forest.

19) Do they belong to any clubs or organizations? Which ones? Do they go regularly, or just occasionally? She's a newer member of Brave Vesperia and probably does her best to keep up with any goings on.

20) Wing color and how do they deal with their wings?: Her wings are pink; when it's warmer out she wears some clothes with small holes in the back to let them out. In colder weather, she'll cover them up with a coat.

21) Did they change or grow in any way physically since coming to Luceti?: I think her hair has gotten a bit longer; she hasn't really bothered to cut it at all. She's probably in better shape, too, since she's actually had to really do things outside. She's still unathletic as hell, but she's a tiny bit sturdier now.

22) What do they miss the most from home?: Her family and friends. She's been in Luceti for about three years and that's three years that she's been without having seen anyone else from home. She tells herself sometimes that maybe some of the people from Earth are from the same Earth as her, but...she kinds of doubts it sometimes.

23) What does their handwriting look like? Do they write the way they talk, or is there a clear difference between the two?: Her handwriting is like this. When she writes, her thoughts seem a little more in order, without the "likes" and"uhs" and bits of stammering thrown in.

24) Is the way they act in person different from the way they act over the journal system?: She's a little more sure of herself when she's talking over the journals since she's not right in front of the person, even more so when she's communcating by audio or writing only.

25) Did they gain/lose any personal goals during their stay in Luceti?: Pilouette's whole goal back home was to go to culinary school in France and own a bakery which...isn't quite a thing she can do here. Her goal in Luceti is just to do what she can and right now that's to learn as much as she can about First Aid and possibly Battlefield medicine so she can stand on her own and actually help out.

26) Is Luceti a technological upgrade, or downgrade for them? Have they adapted to these changes well?: Downgrade. She's from 2010 and is used to TV and cars and the internet. She's managed to adapt over the near three years she's been in Luceti, but still. She misses her trashy gossip shows sometimes.

27) FOR STUDENTS: What is their favorite class? What is their least favorite class? What about their general behavior in school?: She's done with school. LATER NERDS

28) FOR DRINKERS: What is their favorite drink? What is their least favorite drink? Do they prefer Good Spirits or Seventh Heaven? What's their attitude about and while drinking?: Not a drinker!

29) Do they have any special talents? If so, what are they?: Pilouette doesn't have any skills that she particularly considers talents.

30) Have they learned any new skills or abilities in Luceti? If so, what are they? Why and how? She's learned First Aid skills. She was struggling for a long time with trying to find a way to contribute until Precis F. Neumann suggested she try first aid. Since then she's been learning from Mia and it's helped her develop some confidence, but she still feels like it's not enough.

31) What kind of habits do they have on drafts? Are they willing to kill or do they prefer to avoid fighting? Pilouette is not a combatant at all. If possible she tries to stay in a safe area where she can help the wounded. However, she'll also generally do whatever she's asked. She really doesn't like the idea of having to hurt someone (not that she thinks she can) but after Zompania, she's kind of getting it into her head that there's not always a choice.

32) What kind of habits do they have on missions? What is their reason for going on them? What do they intend to use their points for? She hasn't been on any missions.

33) How long have they been in Luceti? Has that length of time impacted them in any way?: She's been in Luceti for almost three years. She still wants to go home, but after so long, part of her kind of dreads the fact that she'll forget all the people she's met and all the things she's learned in her time here. She's definitely changed and she's a little bit scared of going to back to who she was before because she's not sure she'll be able to build herself back up without the experiences she's had. Aside from that, before coming to Luceti, she had never had to face the reality of death before.

34) How do they unwind and get back to normal after a brutal experiment, event, or draft? She usually will hole up in her apartment for a few days or go on a baking spree. Sometimes she might also just wander out into the forest for a while to walk around or go sit in a clearing that Cecil Harvey showed her about a year ago.

35) What is their worst experience from an experiment or kidnapping? Were there any that they actually liked? She's hated them all. Probably her worst one was when she and Mac were bodyswapped. That was just awkward and horrible for everyone involved.

36) Anything else you want to note?:

- Since a lot of her friends have gone home, she's a little more hesitant to get close to people. She's still friendly enough, but it can take a while for her to really want to open up to someone.

- Before Luceti, she had been attending an all girls school for six years and doesn't really know how dating works. At all. She hadn't really had so many male friends before Luceti, but she doesn't know to to interact on a romantic level.

- Lately, she's really been throwing herself into her First Aid studies as a way to distract herself from things. After her death at Zompania, she aquired a penalty of partial lack of tacticle sensation, so recently she's had a couple careless moments where she forgot and ended up accidently burning or nicking herself while working or cooking and didn't notice it for a while.

- Even with everything else, she's still an awkward little dweeb.

Kyo's Shounen Idiots

[personal profile] kyosuke 2014-07-25 12:35 pm (UTC)(link)
mischiefbreeder: (☀ I brought this for you!)

Gold

[personal profile] mischiefbreeder 2014-07-25 12:36 pm (UTC)(link)
1) Height: No canon height, but he's capped out at around 6'0. He's gotten tall in his time in Luceti.

2) Weight: Unlike his malnourished best friend, Gold weighs in about 160 lbs.

3) Eye color/Hair Color: Black hair with piercing golden-colored eyes.

4) Age: Eighteen? Nineteen? Geez, I wish I noted this down. Probably eighteen, at least according to logical progression of his age in Luceti...

5) Physical features: Wild black hair that is long and explody in the front, and short in the back, and striking golden eyes. No facial hair to speak of, or any scars. He has a lean, muscular body similar to an athlete

6) Voice: No VA to speak of! Ahh, the curse of a manga-only character... Well, I imagine he still has kind of a boyish voice, to be honest. Not high, but not terribly deep, either. You know, teenage boy.

7) Who do they live with and how are chores divided in their house/apartment?: He lives in House 11 with Silver, Crystal, Cilan, Ash, and now Rin too I guess. He does some grocery shopping, especially since he's the one who consumes a lot of the food in the house. Besides that, he does his own laundry, having had to learn to do it on his own since there was a period of time when he was the only one who COULD do it, aaaaand that's about it.

8) Their favorite (and least favorite, if you want) foods and who does the cooking in their house/apartment?: Gold isn't terribly picky about food, though he vastly prefers foods that are either spicy or sour. He likes strong tastes, okay? His all-time favorite food is Cinnabar Volcano Burgers, his mom's specialty that he managed to get Cilan to learn how to replicate. Speaking of, Cilan is the one who does most of the cooking in the house, though apparently Rin does cooking too? Gold doesn't cook at all, aside from basic stuff. He learned how to, but he prefers not to.

9) What they do during an average day in Luceti: His daily routine involves some combination of training his Pokémon in the Battle Dome, working on his own training with Aang, Ventus, and Kaori, skateboarding, shooting pool in the rec center, and hunting down his various friends to hang out.

10) Their general sense of fashion: Generally, he wears his canon outfit, or some variation thereof! Basically, it's always a cap, goggles, hoodie, short pants, and shoes, usually in the colors of red, white, black, and yellow.

11) Do they have any hobbies? Did they come up with these hobbies in Luceti, or was it something they always did?: His hobbies are and always have been gambling, playing pool, and skateboarding. In canon, he also has a hobby of going to various different locales and trying different specialty foods, but in Luceti, he can't really do that.

12) Has the situation in Luceti changed their view on certain topics/the way they react to different things?: He's had several changes over the course of his long stay in Luceti!

- he used to hate the Malnosso, but over the course of time he's grown to accept them. Or at least the part that is trying to actually help them. he still doesn't care much for them, but they're far from the worst, at least.

- His stance on killing has changed. He's grown to accept it as an inevitability on drafts. He always tries to avoid it if at all humanly possible, and the existence of the scanners on drafts makes that a lot easier for him, but if one of his friends are in danger, then, well... He'll do what he has to.

- He's actually become somewhat more withdrawn about expressing himself to people. The inevitability of people coming and going in Luceti has admittedly made him hesitant to connect with people, knowing they could just as easily disappear the next day, never to see them again. It's different from home, where he at least knows those people are still around, even if he doesn't see them for a long time.

13) Do they have a weapon? If so, do they carry it at all times or just under certain circumstances?: He carries a cuestick around at all times! It was a specially-made cuestick designed for him by Hiccup that's reinforced for combat. It's telescopic, so he always carries it around with him. Besides that, he always carries his Pokemon with him. he'd never call them weapons, but they're definitely a part of his fighting style.

14) Do they have any pets? Would these pets be at their homes, or do they hang out with the character in question?: He has three, though he'd never call them his pets. They're his partners, plain and simple. He has three with him!

- Explotaro is his Typhlosion, a fire-type. Explotaro boasts powerful fire attacks, as well as electric and ground moves, and is generally his physical powerhouse.
- Aitaro is his Ambipom, a normal-type. He's more of a supporter than anything else, providing buffs to his teammates with Nasty Plot, Agility and Baton Pass, but he's also a powerful special attacker in his own right.
- Togetaro is his Togekiss, who is a normal/flying-type. Someday, Gold will learn about Togetaro's actual status as a fairy/flying, though. Togetaro is the strongest member of his team, using incredibly strong physical attacks and generally behaving like a one-Pokémon wrecking crew. God help you if you're on the other end of his attacks.

He always takes them with him when he's out wandering through town or training, but tends to leave them at home to rest when he's pursuing hobbies.

15) Who are their neighbors?: The people in Flame Building are his neighbors! Aside from that the houses are empty around them...

16) Who are their best friends in Luceti? How often do they spend time with them and doing what? His best friend in Luceti is easily still Silver. There's an immense level of trust and care between them, and he always tries to make sure he spends at least some time with him. ..You know, when the latter isn't off being a loser in the woods. But he always goes and hunts down Silver if he's away from the house for too long.

His other best friend is Crys, though he hasn't been spending as much time with her lately as he should be, due to a combination of her own problems, and his own hesitations towards her due to his own complicated feelings towards her.

An honorable mention goes to Masaomi, who is his next closest friend. They often go and do stupid crazy shit together like mixing energy drinks or playing games.

17) On the flip side, is there anyone they actively don’t get along with? How do they interact, and would people know about this? There aren't many people he doesn't active get along with, since if he doesn't like someone, he just ignores their existence. The only person who he's not getting along with right now is Red, who he had a falling out with.

18) Their favorite areas/stores/hang-out locations?: The Rec Center is his prime hangout spot, but he also spends a lot of time at the Seventh Heaven, the Battle Dome, and at home.

19) Do they belong to any clubs or organizations? Which ones? Do they go regularly, or just occasionally? Nnnnnnnope!

20) Wing color and how do they deal with their wings?: His wings are the same color as his eyes, a golden-amber color. He keeps them under his hoodie, because he refuses to cut holes in his hoodies for them. He's perfectly comfortable with them like that.

21) Did they change or grow in any way physically since coming to Luceti?: He's definitely gotten bigger. There's no canon height for him but I figure he was 5'9-5'10"ish in canon, and he's grown a little more since then, though he's pretty much done now.

22) What do they miss the most from home?: Honestly, he just misses home itself. He misses waking up in his bed surrounded by Pokémon. He misses listening to DJ Mary. He misses seeing all his friends. He misses his partners.

He misses his mom, most of all.

23) What does their handwriting look like? Do they write the way they talk, or is there a clear difference between the two?: Messy. It's fast and sloppy, and he doesn't really give it much thought. But he also doesn't write much. You should be concerned if he ever actually opts to write a journal message. As far as speech vs. text... He writes exactly like he speaks, just with slightly less slang and slurring.

24) Is the way they act in person different from the way they act over the journal system?: Nope. Well, aside from being louder and more obnoxious in person.

25) Did they gain/lose any personal goals during their stay in Luceti?: He didn't really have any personal goals he wanted to achieve at home. Personally I feel like he someday wants to meet Arceus again and show it how far along people have come, for real. ...And maybe battle it again.

In Luceti, he really just kind of wants to get everyone home.

26) Is Luceti a technological upgrade, or downgrade for them? Have they adapted to these changes well?: Huge downgrade. No radio towers or phone service, no personal computers, no storage system, no cable, no flying cars... There's a lot of technology missing that Gold really misses. He's adapted to Luceti's low-grade technology well enough, but he need that stuff badly.

27) FOR STUDENTS: What is their favorite class? What is their least favorite class? What about their general behavior in school?: lol nope

28) FOR DRINKERS: What is their favorite drink? What is their least favorite drink? Do they prefer Good Spirits or Seventh Heaven? What's their attitude about and while drinking?: lol nope. He doesn't see the appeal. He doesn't need alcohol to feel good, and soda tastes a hell of a lot better.

29) Do they have any special talents? If so, what are they?: He's a Pokémon trainer! So he's basically Nintendium in person form. That counts for something, right? No? Oh, okay...

Well, he's really handy with a cuestick, and I'm not talking just for playing pool. His accuracy increases exponentially when he uses his cuestick to launch something, and he's able to line up ridiculous, otherwise seemingly impossible trickshots that'll ricochet off surfaces and fly all over the place to hit their exact target.

besides that, well... He's earned the title of Breeder due to his ability to instantly bring out the maximum potential of newly hatched Pokémon.

30) Have they learned any new skills or abilities in Luceti? If so, what are they? Why and how? He's been learning a number of skills in Luceti recently!

First, he's been studying different forms of staff fighting from both Saori and Aang, learning how to fight both offensively and defensively. He's also been studying combat evasion with Ventus, learning how to rely on his speed. And then Aang also has mentored him on forming pacts with the filial spirits, and he's learned how to use fire, lightning, and wind now. The others completely elude him, though.

31) What kind of habits do they have on drafts? Are they willing to kill or do they prefer to avoid fighting? His aim is first and foremost to protect his friends, and if he has to kill to do it, then he'll do it. But he also abhors the idea of having to do it and tries to avoid it if at all possible. He prefers to neutralize the enemy if possible, capturing them with the scanners so they can't return to the battlefield ever again. But, well... That's not always possible, of course.

32) What kind of habits do they have on missions? What is their reason for going on them? What do they intend to use their points for? Gold tends to not go on missions unless he's specifically trying to earn something, and usually it's something he's trying to get for someone else, like Pokédexes for the new trainers, or a DVD boxset for Silver.

33) How long have they been in Luceti? Has that length of time impacted them in any way?: Gold has been in Luceti since March of 2010, and aside from a brief departure for his canon update, has been there the entire time. Luceti impacted really negatively at first. He had been in Luceti for a long period of time surrounded by so many of his friends from home, and it was great. Sure, they were all in a different place from home, but they were all together, so it was just like being on a journey together! ...But then they all disappeared, and eventually he was the only one still there. And it hurt, a lot. He felt like he'd been left behind, stuck alone in this place, and it had its effect on him. He managed to make new friends in Luceti, but the damage had been done, and his attitude took a turn for the worst. He unknowingly became a huge jerk, and it wasn't until he was made aware of what he'd become by Silver that he started to turn back to normal.

As a result, he's got some deep abandonment issues and a fear of being alone in Luceti that most people aren't really aware of because he doesn't talk about them. He's also got a mild fear of change, because he doesn't want to become anything that isn't himself. He likes himself just the way he is.

34) How do they unwind and get back to normal after a brutal experiment, event, or draft? Usually, he tries to unwind by distracting himself with video games. If it was particularly bad, he'll immerse himself in difficult training to distract himself. The key here is he tries to distract himself and get it off his mind.

35) What is their worst experience from an experiment or kidnapping? Were there any that they actually liked? The worst was the passive Fear shift that happened some months back, since it forced that aforementioned fear of being alone right in his face.

36) Anything else you want to note?: god you really think I want to write even more, I already wrote so much crap here it's obnoxious. (but I like cool things)
