Once upon a time, Walter tolerated Grune a little better than he did other Orerines; while annoyed by her obliviousness, he found it preferable over the consciously-annoying behavior he'd encountered from Senel's other friends. Walter's encounter with the real Grune has soured his opinion of her; knowing she is just as judgmental as the others has left him with little regard for her, Orerines or not Orerines.
