Kat, how do you feel about his Arthurliness.

He's not bad. Which, coming from Katniss, would be something of a compliment. She's generally not a people person and has a hard time making friends. But I think there's something about the way Arthur carries himself - with his self-confidence and such - that makes her think of Finnick and that makes him not half bad.

She could totally do without him being a king, though, because she still has a hard time trusting people in power. But talking with him isn't all that dull and he's fun to pick on.

And I think she's now determined to have him skin his own game some day.

Someone else who doesn't really like pets. It's a bit of a relief, especially in that post where most people seemed somewhat surprised that she doesn't like the idea of having Buttercup here.

Unfortunately, aside from that, she doesn't really know Luke well enough yet to come to any more conclusion.

There's probably no doubt that she loves you, Rue. She holds a lot of guilt over Rue's death and I think, since Prim's as well, it's been compounded. Rue in Luceti represents the lives both her sister and Rue ought to have had and she's absolutely determined not to let anything interfere with that. She's going to make sure the girl has as happy and safe a childhood as Katniss can possibly provide for her here.

She's as close to family as Katniss will allow anyone to get.

Despite all of the crap with the event and the Malnosso, I think Katniss is slowly becoming genuinely fond of Rick. He's proven himself resourceful in the woods and also someone who makes for a good listener - those rare times where Katniss opens up. And now that he has a better understanding of life in Panem and the Hunger Games, I can see her possibly trying to open up a little more to him.

Why not?

She's fascinated by magic, which is the whole reason I had her reply to Draco in the first place. And the fact that Draco's so willing to both show and explain definitely earns him a few points. The more she can learn about magic, the better to ultimately protect her and Rue while in Luceti. He's also a little bit more on the reserved side, which makes him more comfortable to be around.

I can definitely see her continuing to talk to him in future discussions, and maybe even a friendship developing.
