Well firstly, Kazuma feels kind of bad for yelling at Noel and blatantly telling it to her face that her friendship didn't mean a thing to him. He has a hard time trusting others and that in itself makes it difficult for him to believe in others. He feels even worse not even noticing she had been taken when he wanted to go and apologize to her. So at some point, he really wants to make it up to her.
He's still kind of nervous around her, but after hearing her side and how she was created too, it sort made a kind of understanding. Something they can relate...of course he was kind of blinded by his own upbringing to notice that until much later on. So yea it's...just an awkward CR right now after leaving the previous conversation with a bad taste.
