Some army guy who sniped things for a living. He's got a Rennerface.

Oooh geez. This is an awkward one.

He likes Katniss even with her less-than-humored stern charm she has so much of, and thanks to the AU he has memories of them being buddy-buddy, so it makes it hard not to like her, man. Not to mention, now that he has an idea of what her world and life is like? He can't help but feel like shit on her behalf. And going through (in a fuzzy way, he knows) what she had to deal with makes him admire whatever strength she managed to scrounge up; not many people can come back from that and still manage to keep going.

[Of course, thanks to the event he was pretty messed up himself, so in that way the CR has given him a little less to sleep about; he had himself a sad mopey drunk night, but he's adjusting to all of his inner demons, at least.]

He'll be keeping an eye out and helping her and the people from her world when he can. Now that he knows her likes, he can at least get her things she might enjoy. Like... perhaps a telescope for her and Rue? A fishing line? Some books on plants and their uses? Hmm.

Adele, oh Adele, he likes ya'. You've been helpful—and eventually he thinks this is gonna be a give and take sort of existence. As a member of the dead club, too, he feels like she's probably the best person to talk to about serious things (and of course, she's the only one that really knows how fucked-up he is right now). And if it helps, her making him promise and confirm things makes it so goddamn hard for him to just go back on his word. He doesn't want to be a problem child for her, after all.

If he's gonna do something stupid, he'll do it veeeery sneakily. Yessss. But less drinking. He'll do less drinking. More sleeping might be a challenge, though.

Isaac gawd. You're lucky he's used to filthy people, though he's not quite so used to filthy dudes aiming their dirty talk toward him. While it sometimes makes him uncomfortable, he's also like 'well fuck, whatever'. That's just his way, man. More importantly, he's a strange as fuck guy who says interesting things; Doyle can work with this. And on the off-chance he offers some good info, he'll at least offer and ear to listen. Sounds like he doesn't like humanity, but that's his problem, not Doyle's.

First impressions on fellow military?

Very fucking tall. And very good at her job. He's spent a majority of his time looking at people and trying to figure things out about them. But with her, it seems a lot more obvious than other people; from what he can see she appears to be the type that would have a hard time adjusting to... well, non-military life. He doesn't want to say she's normal-life-impaired, but... yeah. He figures she may have some trouble melting into normalcy. Juuust a smidge.

He's also grateful for her helping him out, so he'll keep an eye out for her, as one soldier to another. Gotta' look out for your own breed, amirite?

In Doyle's first impression rating, she's high up there; being helpful always earns someone points, but the fact that she even took him out for pizza makes it even better.
