Oh, Don, Don! He likes you, respects your techie prowess, and is secretly a little concerned that he might be a bad influence on such a charming...turtle.

Saying nothing about how he tilts his head a little about the whole Robert/Don thing--he's old fashioned (even if he himself is bent and in denial), and it bothers him a little on two separate levels.

He still likes Don, though, and kind of glosses over the rest of it. Since Don's not going to attempt to murder Lupin any time soon, he'll hear nothing about it. His own curiosity in whatever Don might be up to is more important.

Don is hard to corrupt, though a smooth-talking thief might convince him to tag along on some questionable exploits. Lupin isn't the only one frustrated by the lack of opportunity to use his special skills.

The thing with Robert has gotten impossible to hide, and Don expects sideways looks. He just hopes his friends won't completely shun him for it, and he appreciates if they refrain from asking personal questions.

Fortunately, Lupin's best skill is in discretion. Typically, he plays along as if nothing bothers him. Frankly? Don/Robert and everything about Grell bother him on some level, but he's playing it cool.

It doesn't change much, though. Don is still basically a nice guy, and Lupin appreciates that to no end. Besides, this passed event has helped him mellow out a little.

Just a little.
