He doesn't even really notice how completely awkward you are! Probably because he is a pile of social fail himself, albeit in a different way. But yes, as far as he's concerned you've only been nice and helpful (and just the right amount of curious!), so that automatically gets you coolpoints. that thing in the forest with your annoying brat of a friend was weird though He even gets to be a ridiculous showoff without you freaking out on him, once again proof "yea yea whatever" people are pretty much the best people to hang out with.
