It was a good conversation and Ikki enjoyed the drinks he had that night more than the ones he has had many other nights. Drinking with someone makes a difference after all, but you won't hear him say that. You won't hear him say much about opinions about people actually, unless they aren't in Luceti, then there's a small chance of it.

That aside, Ikki knows Smoker well enough to know that the man can't be on talking terms with someone who is absolutely evil and a bastard, so even if Lupin doesn't dance in the bright side of the law he's already quite okay in Ikki's book. Ikki isn't a police officer or someone who actually have to worry about those laws anyway, he has lived his life away from the "normal" part of the world long enough to feel that anyway those laws don't belong to his world. So long as he doesn't do anything against Ikki himself, Lupin can do whatever he wants for all Ikki cares, it won't affect his opinion on the man in the least. Ikki isn't the type to think that he's any better after all, or to delude himself like others did regarding what he does, he has killed people and hasn't hesitated on doing so. No matter the reasons, he's not a Saint either nor someone to dance in the bright side of law, so why should he judge someone else for doing the same? Except that Lupin isn't a murderer as far as he knows, that probably makes him better than Ikki himself is but whatever.

In short... No, he won't mind to talk with the other again, nor to go and have drinks together once more. It's not as if they have anything better to do here unfortunately.
