She still isn't really sure what she did to get Daisy to feel the way she does about her, but she is certainly thankful for it. They're so different in so many ways, yet at the similarities they share strengthen their relationship. Daisy is the touch of maturity that keeps Keimi down to earth. She makes her feel pretty. She gives her much needed confidence, especially in her designs. Keimi loves her. A lot. And every second they spend together brings the biggest smile to her face.
That being said, there's a lot about Daisy that Keimi doesn't know about. She can't help but be curious, but she can't seem to bring herself to ask a lot of questions. She doesn't know why, but it seems like Daisy's past is troubling. She wants to know more about her world, about her childhood, and life back home. She trusts in Daisy, however, and knows that when Daisy is ready to talk about it, she will.
That being said, the giant robot armor scares the crap out of her. It's big, it's imposing, and it's very cold. She would never admit it, but she's thrilled at the idea of Daisy getting new armor. In time, she wants to be able to make armor, herself. Not being much use in combat herself, being able to protect her love is an exciting prospect.

Keimi loves Smoker to death. She has always liked him, but the family event definitely cemented their relationship. From there, it has only thrived. He's rough, he's strong, and he's kind of a jerk, but to Keimi, he's nothing but a big softie who loves ice cream and justice.
Despite being a Marine, Smoker is one of the few humans that Keimi feels totally at ease around. She mostly tries to brush that whole "marine" thing under the carpet, but Smoker proves an example to her that not all of them are cruel, willing pawns for the tenryuubito. He cares for her, and is willing to protect her. That means the world to her. His occupation is totally secondary to that.
She really enjoys making him happy. At first, she started taking jitte lessons just for that reason. However, with Smoker's assurance, it has become an empowering experience. She doubts she will ever be very good at it, but being able to aptly defend herself is giving her more confidence in general. If it wasn't for Smoker, she wouldn't have that. It's nice.
Though, he doesn't wear a shirt. Like, ever. This makes it harder to make clothes for him, but she's working on that.

Learning of Nami's background only piled on a whole new pile of awkward onto their relationship, however. Keimi has openly denounced human relations with fishmen/merfolk in front of Nami on multiple occasions. Now that she knows how she spent her childhood, there was a bit of doubt if Nami would even want anything to do with her. Nami's willingness to forgive not only Keimi, but all of her kind, amazes her. It shows a level of strength that Keimi just doesn't possess. Not yet, at least, but it serves as an example. If Nami can do it, maybe she can, too.
She certainly cherishes their friendship. She's one of the first human friends she ever had. Their adventures, both in and out of Luceti, are some of her favorite memories. She met many of her other Luceti friends through Nami as well. If it wasn't for her, Luceti would be a much lonelier place for our little mermaid. She wants to be a more active part in Nami's life, but a lack of confidence makes her feel like a wallflower to Nami's blooming rose. She's working on it. She really is. She just needs a little push, sometimes.
