Melanie thinks that Gambit is a pretty cool schway dude. He's good with cards, has a similar background to hers, and he's just a fun guy to be around in general. And even if she's not exactly pleased that she was brought back as a kid, she does look back at that snowball fight fondly. (It was a lot of fun, okay.) She'd definitely like to get to know him better, at any rate.

Melanie likes Adele. She thinks Adele's an interesting woman, and she feels like it's easy for her to just relax around her. Admittedly, even though she said it was okay, Mel still feels like a jerk for running off on her when she was a kid. But whatever - not much to be done about that. There's also something very comforting about being around Adele, though she suspects that's probably because of how quick she was to help Melanie when she was a kid, too. :|a

Even though she has yet to actually say it, Melanie loves Kurt a lot. He was there for her when she first arrived in Luceti and has always been around to help her out since then. Of course, things have gotten more complicated recently and while she still cares for Kurt, she's got a lot to think about.

She always knew that they could only be together in Luceti (what with the different worlds and all), but after all the time spent together it was kind of easy to push all that back. But then they went to Bayville, and it basically worked as a reality check for Melanie. They could only be together in Luceti, because Kurt had a girlfriend back home and Mel wasn't even supposed to exist there. As much as she cares about him, it's clear that their relationship can't really last when there's always a chance one of them could go home. It just hurts because she had finally gotten used to not always having to worry about where someone was going to go next, or how much time she had left with someone, etc.

And then there's all the stuff with what happened during the AU and Kurt avoiding her and whatnot.

SO YEAH. Melanie loves him, but things are feeling preeetty complicated right now.
