Daisy, Daisy, Daisy...you are at once startling, confusing, and intriguing. That was one helluva first meeting, one that Lupin reaped the rewards from for almost two months because of his own impulsivity, but he never once blamed her for any of it. She's stern, strong, but oddly kind and gorgeous to watch--the height isn't a deterrant, and the fact that she's a soldier isn't either.

The reason he laid off of the flirtations after their initial meeting is because he realized (the hard way) that they wouldn't be the sort of thing that would go over well with her, and he's honestly curious about her. He kind of collects quiet people, if his friends in Luceti and in Canon are any indication, and Daisy is very much a kind of person he could get on well with.

He doesn't know her story at all, except for what she's told him, but has enjoyed their few conversations. Actual intelligent discussion can be hard to find, especially when he's the sort that flares up when others around him are irritable. She's relatively calm, and is always controlled even when angry. Such composure in chaos is really what the big draw is, and it actually helps him settle down.

Their chronologically most recent post does have him concerned for her, but he does not know how to approach the topic at all with any grace in concerns with her. In his AU'd lifetime, he was actually a commander, and he does have more knowledge of space warfare that he does want to keep in the coming weeks and months. In the thread, the memories are still extremely fresh, and he's hoping that he doesn't need to pull rank in order to get some reasonable sense of the situation on her end.

Even if it was just a Malnosso lie. His entire life is based on lies, what's one more?

All in all, though, he is starting to become very fond of her in a completely platonic way. Once he realizes that she and Keimi are an item, he's liable to become a shipper alongside of Marco, all the while being jealous that she gets to play with a mermaid all by herself. :P
