Yotsuba: Annoying little girl who thinks (thought?) he's an angel. She's actually kind of cute, but he'd never let himself think that. She can read better than him. Hopefully. Also, Chien hopes that maybe he'll never have to see her again. Sorry.

Caius: His best not friend not enemy. Chien respects Caius's fire skills and his cooking talent when it comes to fish, and thinks he's stupid. Then again, there aren't a lot of people he thinks of as "stupid" so that's practically a badge of honor. There's a kind of connection between them - both hated and discriminated against because of how they were born, beasts, etc - and there's certainly a seed of friendship. Chien enjoys their small arguments.

Fuuko: She makes a damn good cake. But she's kind of weird by talking in third-person like that.

hiiii chitose HE LIKES HER A LOT BECAUSE THEY'RE ARCA BUDDIES he definitely lists her very close to the top of "allies" and almost into "friends". However, his only two friends are Cer and Ber for sure so... Yeah. Chien admires her kindness and politeness and, if he dares say so, thinks she's rather pretty. He'd like to play video games with her (because he can't read the text) and would do anything to help her out as long as it didn't hurt animals and whatnot. He trusts her a lot.
