oh UM Pao-lin is definitely someone he can call a pretty close friend. Not as close as his cast (I-- don't think there'd be one of those, really, because all the telling in the world won't add up to the actual experience of it and Luca's an incredibly sentimental boy; it wouldn't feel the same) but yes! Pao-lin is definitely someone he adores and admires, and if she ever wanted to live with them in the Innocence house he would let her even though Iria kind of doesn't like her. We will eventually fix that probably maybe. He likes spending time with her and talking to her and being with her and shjnfgvb HE JUST REALLY LIKES HER OKAY...

And she's probably up on his "may date" list, should anything happen.
