I already tl;dred about this on a plurk meme, thus I'll be repeating myself a bit, but Miyabi was one of his first friends in Luceti and also his first "sibling" outside the crew - she holds a very special place in his heart. She's intelligent, caring, selfless, talented, and just... so many things, I can't begin to count them all. Even during rough moments she strives to keep going against opposition, for herself as well as others.
And he loves being close to someone who knows and enjoys the art of cooking. Even with the multitude of acquaintances Sanji has, very few share this same, particular fondness. To Sanji, this is also something he gets to share with her.
Bottom line is he loves her like one of his own crew (and let's face it, she's basically honorary nakama considering how many of them she's friends with), and would do anything to ensure her safety or keep her happy.
