I...I don't know what to say. Ion is...much like everyone else living here, he...
...I've always wanted a family.
[Nephry could talk about Ion for several paragraphs if she could get the words out. That about expressed it all, though. She's always had slightly (or majorly) dysfunctional friends to love, but here she has found something more and Ion is one of the people at the center of all of these feelings.
Add to that his kindness and gentleness and willingness to see the good in people, and encourage them, and wow could you ask for a better (if slightly sickly) friend?
It is almost physically painful to think of what will happen when he returns, these days.]
