I can't deny the things General Grants has done - and will do - in Auldrant, and how terrible and devastating they are. I can't.

...What I can do is understand that it wasn't all malicious intent and instability. That...there are more terrible things in the recent past than I realized. Perhaps he, like others I know...deserves a chance. At the least.
