Ion pretty much decided he liked Florian the moment they met, and that opinion hasn't changed in the least. He can't help but feel a little protective of him in Luceti, which is a new feeling for Ion who's so used to being the one who gets protected all the time. Ion's older than him here in Luceti, so that totally makes him the older brother, okay.

And of course, there's a part of him that just can't help but feel happy just knowing Florian is alive and, from what he's heard, living a fairly normal and more or less happy life back home. At least one of them deserves a happy ending, after all.

Also, Ion may not be used to sharing a room or a bed like this, but even so, he'll probably miss it once they get the house expanded and have their own rooms. They should still make pillow forts sometimes, though.

Aaww Ion. His big brotherliness is appreciated! Or it might be if Florian ever noticed it. They should make a pillow tunnel connecting their rooms.

Luke is by far one of Ion's best friends he Luceti. He trusts him implicitly and feels like he could talk to about just about anything*! Especially since they made that promise never to keep secrets from each other again even though they're both kind of bad at keeping to that sometimes. Luke has always been there when he needed someone there to support him, particularly in the week after he got turned down by Anise. There will always be a part of him that wishes there were a way he could repay Luke, even though he's already tried to so so back home by using his final breath to read the Score for him.

Ion really looks up to Luke for how much he's grown to accept himself, especially with the weight of everything he still carries on his shoulders from what happened back home. Their recent thread probably showcases it the best. And though Ion isn't sure whether he'll ever be able to find a way to live for himself, seeing how Luke has been able to embrace that way of thinking is a real inspiration for him. It was no exaggeration to say that he really is proud to consider Luke one of his closest friends.

There is, however, a small part of him that is rather envious of the relationship Luke has with Xion, and likely a little in regards to Tear as well. But it's not so much that he wouldn't probably admit it if asked. WHAT'S A REPLIBRO GOTTA DO TO GET SOME LOVE AROUND HERE...

*"just about" meaning he will not be bringing up that he might have enjoyed that little kiss of theirs more than he'd ever admit.
