Anyway, Souji is very proud of Sokka. It's nice to see someone learn the Tennen Rishin style and not be...crazy like Souji is. While he isn't quite a teacher level yet, Souji does think he's doing very well with his lessons and learning everything necessary to becoming a great swordsman. His innovation combined with his physical strength makes him a formidable fighter and he suits the style very well - or so his teacher thinks. On a more personal level, Souji is glad that it was Sokka who stuck with his lessons. Sokka is personable, willing to joke and tease back, and very reliable as a person. He's intelligent and has been growing up into a great young man, someone Souji is proud to know. He sees Sokka and Suki together and, while it's unfortunate that their relationship progresses with the constant worry of leaving and forgetting everything hanging over their heads, they are good for each other and eventually destined to go back to the same world. It's nice to see people having a chance at something like domestic happiness in Luceti.
Beat to Sokka
Lulz, dude, chillax. Sokka's a good guy, but Beat doesn't quite get why he's so uptight about the smithy. It wasn't Beat's fault that he was invisible for like...weeks. You know. Stuff. Beat does think Sokka's kinda cool though since he works in the smithy and all. But he'll never say it. Ever.
