['I've learned a lot about Rise-chan over the last months. Much of which confirms my first impression that she's different from other girls I've known. A lot more normal, actually, which is surprising for an idol. What's probably more surprising is that she bothers to hang out with me at all.

On the other hand, maybe not. Because I learned that she's a master of the kitchen. In the sense that cruel peasants are masters to their horses, or dominatrices are masters to their clients. There can't be that many people who are willing to face that again after having survived that.']

Okay lapsing into ooc because it's easier... he appreciates Rise quite a bit. It's partly because she's pretty separated from all the weirdness he faces with the Brigade, and with other people who know Haruhi and so on -- it's just good to have a change of scenery. It's also partly because she's sympathetic and kind without quite going to the level of, like, Grune or Madoka or others who are just ... abnormally so; the feeling of normality is important to him. And it's also because she's really good at being cute. Overall, getting to know her has been one of the most pleasant parts of being here for him.
