Natalia is another childhood friend of Luke's, so she holds a very special place in his heart. He looks at her more like a close sister than anything, even though he does try to make himself feel a little more than that sometimes. Because... well, even with the whole replica and false princess fiasco, they are still engaged, and though Luke doesn't want it, he knows that someday he'll probably have to go through with said engagement no matter how much he fights against it. And it'd be cruel for the both of them to be in something like that without some kind of mutual love between them.

But he really just can't drop the whole "more like a sister" thing, especially with his time here in Luceti, now that he has a girlfriend and everything. A girlfriend whom he's sort of kind of not really engagedish to now. So, while he still knows that his and Natalia's engagement is still a thing, he figures he'll just tackle it if/when he returns to Auldrant.

In the meantime, Luke cares deeply for her, as her childhood friend, quasi brother, cousin, and the son of the duke who will gladly stand at her side to see that their country and their world is at peace once more.
