Let's make some NPCs!!

So Griff put together a spreadsheet for Kin'Corran NPCs. You'll notice two tabs there. One is just to count NPCs without going into details about them. The other is for going into detail about them! So I encourage you to check it out and add in any you have made up. Don't worry if you don't have a name for them or whatever. Go ahead and put them in. If you name them in your threads later, you can come back and edit that in.

On a modly note, it's possible we may end up exceeding the 300 NPCs present. If that happens? Don't sweat it. We've deal with multiple timelines before in our own threads. Go with the flow, but try not to go overboard in creating a whole bunch of NPCs. If your creations represent ten percent of all the NPCs? You may have have made too many. Just something to keep in mind. You can check out the mod post for ideas/guidelines on NPCs if you still want to make some to use. Remember, your NPCs don't have to be just from canons in Luceti. You can make them be from completely made up and original worlds too. Variety is the spice of life and all that.

So why do it? Well, there may be a chance for these folks to show up again on future missions or drafts. So if we keep track of them here, we'll have a magical spreadsheet to refer back to whenever that happens!

But ALSO this is a good post for mid-event plotting. Maybe something big happening in the village? An idea for something? Or maybe you want to talk about your NPCs? If you have some characters you made up and want to share with people to use, you can do so here as well.

So my NPCs are thus:

Four members of the Xing clan. Two sets from two different clans. Two of them are from the Fa clan, which I designated as one of the largest clans in Xing. The other two are from the Chow clan, a smaller but very violent clan. They're showing up in threads with May and Ran Fan for Ling. They could be relevant to other people too?

For Logan, I'm trying to pick out a squad of three people for him. One of them will be a soldier that was in a unit with him during World War 2. I'm wanting to populate his group with two others, maybe someone medieval/fantasy-esque and the other more modern or perhaps futuristic. For the first one, maybe I'll go with a dwarf. From Dragon Age perhaps? If anyone wants to suggest some canons for them to be from, I'd be grateful!

The Ocean Spirit may have some NPCs too, but nothing is decided yet.

Things I'd like to do! I want to do an attack on the smithy. Ideally this may be something organized by Korras Blake, who is probably going to be a ringleader behind a lot of these attacks and break-ins that are going around. Though he probably won't be there for it himself. Sokka will be back in town for that, so I'm thinking he'll get injured trying to defend it. Anyone interested in getting in on that?

NPCs for Me:

- 3 people who have hung with Masaomi at various times involved in the military patrol. One's Half-Orc woman from a D&D-esque world, one of them is a Konoha ninja, and one of them is a Luxan soldier from Farscape

- A demon prince (Beelzebul?) from Blue Exorcist verse.

- I've allotted for 14 extras (mostly Japanese and American people ranging from age 18-35) to play Baseball in the Baseball Log I want to put up soon.

I'm going to put up a log for the Brigade hosting a baseball game for the Kin'corans today set on the 28th. Which means it's before the Farm Raid and the Smithy Raid and etc. While I've allowed for 14 slots like I said, there's probably going to be more NPCs than them and perhaps more than just the Brigade running it of Lucetians.

Haruhi's been putting up fliers for a few days. Anyone want to jump in on that?

-A cave troll

All are currently present in the Farm Defense log.

Question: Do you know what will happen to them all?

No deaths, except possibly the troll. Maybe a weapon hand cut off at the worst. Obi-Wan will explicitly looking to scare off, disarm, or nonlethally incapacitate where possible. I assume Steve will be looking to do the same, though you'd have to ask Rea.
