Just a quick little ditty of a meme to break up all the other plotty stuff going on. :) (Stolen and slightly modified from Vatheon!)

10 Things for 10 People

→ Post with your character ICly saying ten different things to ten different people.

→ Or eight things to eight people, or five things to five people. There's no hard or fast limit.

→ You can say things your character wants to say, things your character refuses to say, thoughts or beliefs about other people, secrets...

→ But you can't say who those people are! No naming names.

→ (Example: "I've always liked you, but I can't tell you that.")

→ React to everyone ICly. Make guesses or reassure or whatever. And have fun!

Okay. Fine. Pop quiz. If you could be anything other than a pirate, what would you be?

...I'd be more bothered by the fact that you were a boat, actually. Gender aside.

Weird. Weird like that time she's pretty sure she went back to his home for a day and ended up in a very strange pseudo-ménage-a-trois. With a ship. Maybe. It was all very confusing.

"B-but sure. I could -- uhm -- captain. You. I could be your captain."

So weird, Buffy. Like the weirdest fetish ever. Her words just bring a happy faraway smile to his face.

"Mmmmmmmm. Lovely."

"But can the record please state that I prefer you human?

A-although I promise you'd, uhm, make a very handsome ship. Sure."

"Human! It shall be recorded in the captain's log that you have made this very especial preference. No worries, Annie, no worries.

Erm.....you fancy sneaking off so that I might drop anchor in your port?"

She cleared her throat. As human and desire-filled as she also was, there times and places and..."I'd be a social worker. Maybe. Definitely not a boat."

"You ARE a sort of figurehead, are you not? 'Slayer Organization' and all that. Symbolistic."

"I'm not a symbol. Or an object. Or a figurehead. I'm supposed to be just like the rest of them..."

But that didn't always pan out. It was hard to compensate for a decade of on the job experience. "Besides. It's not a game of what you are, it's a game of what you could be. What-ifs."
