Leonhardt has been in Luceti for over a year and isn't quite the most trusting of people. He's also in a bad place right now with his castmate being sent home last AC. He will be coming back from dying during the draft later today (once I get off work). Also, keep in mind that his DP is going to be loss of voice, though his shadows can still talk it will be some time before he figures this out.

And as I mentioned on the HMD, he's got some serious depression issues and lack of will to live issues and could use some help with that.

Jansen Friedh | Lost Odyssey | notimmortal

Jansen is brand new. He's a goofball and will be far easier to get CR with because he likes most anyone and will make light of any situation. He's actually a lot smarter than he seems at first, but overall seems like the normal comic relief type of character. He does miss his friends, but is willing to make new friends and loving that all is free in Luceti. Doesn't make up for some things, but he'll enjoy the free alcohol while he can.

I really want more CR for: Both of them need it! I'd really like to get Leonhardt some CR especially with people who will pry a lot and will not let him hide the fact that he is miserable. Even just people to keep him busy so he won't get depressed and retreat even more than he already does would be a big help.

Norma's perhaps another of my more sociable girls, if not the most sociable, She's a chatterbox and works at the bar as a server part time. Characters + CR Details: Tsuzuki Asato idealism: He is a sugar-loving shinigami who is currently playing janitor over at Rei's new temple. He's mostly laid back and sweet, unless people give him a good reason not to be. << He enjoys dancing, gardening and magic (and talking with gods).

I really want more CR for: Tsuzuki would love to meet new people and feel more useful. I'd personally love for him to meet more spiritual characters with an interesting outlook on life. Or jerks. :D Or people that he might enjoy dancing with, since he really doesn't get to do that enough.

Isaac (Laforeze) – relictusdeus: A sorcerer from the fifteenth century with the lowest-riding leather pants you have ever seen and who can command demonic life he spawned back home. Here are some words I'd use to describe him: a liar, sadomasochistic, snarky, arrogant, sarcastic, vengeful, misanthropic, SHAMELESS, trollish, resentful, flippant, prone to jealousy, self-loathing and insecure, aggressive, obsessive, impulsive, wild-tempered, and flirtatious. He's attracted to men and will flirt with just about anyone even if they aren't "his type" for the fun of it. He’s always up for more bedfellows and folks to troll, hurrhurr.

Captain Nathan “RAD” Spencer – bionically: Swinging into Luceti from the Federal States of America in the year 2029, Spencer is a strong-willed, wisecrackin' soldier who is perhaps best known for the fact that he lost his left arm in combat and gained a bionic arm that lends him superhuman strength. He's a much nicer fellow than Isaac and very loyal to those he comes to trust. (And yes, he can jump! :D)

I really want more CR for: Both – why not? Spence ‘cause he’s new, Isaac because he’s not a nice guy. But I know that Isaac takes a mad amount of patience and is horribly untrusting, so it’s difficult with him.

Yuan Ka-Fai | fortunefail: The seclusive 4000 year old half-elf who has 'angel powers'. Pings include peace and quiet- I mean... Well, he likes tinkering around with technology and recently discovered the majesty of the Game Boy. He needs to get himself a TV sometime for ultimate console pleasure. He also enjoys talking about much the Malnosso suck and how Luceti would be so much better if blahblahblah whippersnappers back in the day blahblah.

Cheria Barnes | healedbythelight: The motherly healer character. Pings include adorable little kids, Asbel, gardening, helping people in need... She's pretty sociable, so getting CR with her is a breeze.

Patty Fleur | ps3pirate: The happy-go-lucky pirate girl with a dark, secret past. She likes to pop up from totally random places and get herself into trouble with fully realizing it. Pings include treasure, romance, the ocean, Brave Vesperia and how much Alexei sucks. You can have amazing random conversations with her, but she has a serious side too.

Oswald the Lucky Rabbit | kingofwaste: The arrogant but very cheerful cartoon rabbit. In charge of Hydra Social and the 'mastermind' behind Oswald Day. Pings include big party events, fireworks, parades, cartoony shenanigans, cheering people up, cartoons in general, entertainment in general... But if you mention Mickey Mouse to him, there will be mixed feelings. I'll likely end up canon-updating him in January, because Epic Mickey 2 is looming on the horizon and it is very epic indeed.

I really want more CR for: Everyone, really, but Cheria seriously needs to get out more. Sociable as she is, I'm having a bit of trouble getting her to do stuff outside of the Tales cast.

Frey has been in Luceti for over two and a half years now. He lives in House 11 with the pokespecial crew at the moment. He gets along with most anyone, and is generally a fairly nice guy, if responsible to a fault at times. His sister just went home recently, but he's taking it rather well since she's gone home to a safe time and place.

I really want more CR for: Freyjadour is the only character I have in Luceti. His CR circle has taken quite a few hits in the past few months with drops and whatnot, so I'd love to try and form some new CR. I plan on posting with him in the next few days or so, as well.

You should give him some.

Rudy's a very kind, gentle, if somewhat shy kid who gets along with mostly anyone. General hangouts include the stables as well as anywhere else in the village. And anywhere away from it--a drifter has to get out sometime! A lot of things attract his attention, and it's generally not hard to get him commenting around on stuff. He's a very curious kid!

As of this draft, he's been cursed by Moro. So yeah, he has a lot of stuff to deal with there. There will be a post about that as soon as I'm finished drowning in assignments. ;;

I really want more CR for: Only got Rudy here, and I'd love more CR for him. He's outwardly friendly in general, and capable of getting along with lots of types. But what I'd really like is people who can get him to open up a bit more, since that's kind of an issue with him. Alternatively, getting him roped into zany shenanigans. Those are also a plus!

He's a snarky little brat, and very broody and negative, so he can be hard to get along with. But he's a skilled spy and information gatherer, and also a "former" assassin with breakdancing ninja skills. When he's not brooding, he spies on people and trains in the Battle Dome.

Saleh | mountain_sage
A calm and wise sage, skilled with nature- and light-based magic, and healing abilities. He makes it his duty to help people, mostly New Feathers and returned mallynappees. He enjoys being outdoors where he can feel the undisturbed nature. He's mostly found in the forest. He's quiet and socially awkward, but he's very kind and generous.

I really want more CR for: Both of them! Especially Jay; he's very lonely (though he'll claim that he doesn't want to make friends). But he needs friends. So he needs more cheerful, optimistic, outgoing people in his life.

Saleh will make good CR with just about anyone. He tries to bring the best out in everyone, be it the social grumps, or even if you're a villain, he'll give you a chance. But if the villain tries anything to hurt people, he'll step in to stop them.

tolivefortoday | Yun: Young shaman with seer abilities from the secluded village of Alma Kinan. Very friendly, cheerful, and very, very odd. Interests include: Spirits! Plants, animals, talking to plants, animals, and spirits , drawing, exploring dangerous places, helping out, and attempting to be a normal kid when she can. Recently started helping out at Sheena's tea shop (after school).

merelychewed | Draco: Sean Connery the Dragon. Usually friendly enough, otherwise a grumpy old curmudgeon. Chances of sarcastic commentary high. Interests include: Not being slain, music, flying, stars, more flying, delicious meat, stories about other dragons, also dragons in general, honor and justice or whatever etc etc, also somewhat interested in movies now that he's seen one. He doesn't come to the village proper very often and spends more time in the mountains and over on the ocean shore.

I really want more CR for: Both? :|a Yun could use a few more closer friends/CR. Draco, too, but he's tougher since he's way out there and relies mostly on events to bring in CR.

Name: Lisa
Characters + CR Details:
Kain Highwind (dragoon_pride) is a dragoon and intensely serious-minded about this. He has a tendency to be a loner and to brood, but he can gradually open up over time with the right kind of CR. Mountains and dragons are among his favorite things, along with constantly training. If your character goes to the Battle Dome a lot, chances are they could meet there! He struggles against his Dark Side, which tends to cause him trouble and lead him to betray his friends. But despite that, he IS a very loyal comrade. He can also make for a fierce rival if things go that way. Currently dealing with returning from his latest death.

Vincent Valentine (thenightmarebegins) is a shapeshifting gunman with a ~mysterious~ past and tons of brooding as well. He tends to keep to himself, and isn't one to open up easily. But when he does count someone as an ally or even friend, he'll be more than willing to protect and fight for them. He's been kind of laying low, and needs to get out more.

Fox Mulder (most_unwanted) is an FBI guy with a love for all things creepy and weird. He's always very interested in the unusual things he comes across in Luceti, and is open to believing in all kinds of crazy things. He likes to theorize about why things happen and so on, and tends toward the paranoid side about Malnosso, etc. Currently recovering mentally from being a human-in-zombie-form.

I really want more CR for: EVERYONE!

My guys have been here for quite some time, and so much CR has come and gone... I'm always up for something new!

The more outgoing characters seem to work well for pushing Kain and Vincent from their shells, but sometimes I've noticed they get along well with similar personalities too, as long as they get going on something they like to talk about. Sparring buddies are great too. Really, I'm open to ANYTHING- positive OR negative CR are both awesome! Kain works well as a rivalrous sort. Both guys take some build-up to earn respect and true friendship, but I love developing things longterm.

Mulder is definitely the type who'd form CR with anyone! He himself is actually rather private about his personal life and has some trust issues, BUT since he's an investigator, he tends to get easily into conversations about other people's worlds, powers, the latest experiments, and so on. He's got a good sense of humor to balance out the more serious moments that he sometimes gets into. He's INTENSE about searching for the TRUUUTH and ultimately figuring this place out, so he'd get along well with like-minded people. He'd also be very very protective of anyone who reminded him of his sister, Samantha. He gets along great with scientists and any sort of geeky people. But really, I'm up for anything for him!

Luke is about to hit his first year in Luceti as of Nov. 7th. He's recovering from some rather horrible experiences on this last draft, but in general is a fairly stable and helpful individual. He's a little older than the Luke from the movies as I play from the novels, and he's got a bit more experience as a military leader and teacher too. His pings include space travel, machines, physical training, meditation, helping improve Luceti, farming, and philosophy. Of course that's not all, he's pretty easily pinged by people who are nice.

Saori is a weather Kami from a modern day Earth. She's in a bit of a strange place after this draft, as she's starting to feel her humanity ebbing away due to the actions she was forced to take. But she's very warm, kind, and has an almost motherly affection for people who show her any measure of kindness. Her pings include: Music, martial arts, magic, divinity, philosophy, food, the supernatural, stories, and weather. Of course, she's also really flexible and prone to whimsy too.

Rei is in a really good place right now, as she dodged that draft and has Tsukino Shrine to work at and keep herself occupied. She can be found around the shrine nearly any day, and offers daily Flame Readings to do fortune telling too. She's quiet and reserved, and while she's beginning to open up more, she's still fairly closed off to all but close friends. Her pings include: Japanese culture, magic, ghosts and spirits, traditions, fortunes, Shinto, shrines, and fire.

Chun-Li | Street Fighter | feetoffury

Chun-Li's recently returned to Luceti as of this cycle. She's extremely friendly, sociable, and outgoing and pretty open to just about anything. She's adaptable to both comical and serious situations, and she's happy to help anyone who wants to learn/train in martial arts. She can fit in with just about anyone except for overly violent and needlessly cruel characters because she is a cop. Pings include: Helping people, music, training/fighting, investigation, sweets, kids, dogs, police/military/martial artists, dancing, and a lot of other things.

I really want more CR for: All of them? Chun-Li is the newest character, so of course I want her to meet new people. But Saori could use humans to be around and remind her of humanity so she doesn't start to slip away from that. Luke needs friends who are willing to talk and do things to help him relax or make him feel like he's doing alright. Rei needs to widen her social network?

Oooh, it'd be really cool to get Luke and Saori a little negative CR that isn't Isaac too.

Belle is very friendly, easy going, and social. She frequents the library a lot and can usually be found there or hanging out and reading my the fountain. But honestly she can be found just about anywhere because she has a curious nature and likes to explore. I think she also might start helping out around the library as well, shelving books and stuff. But seriously, she'll talk to anyone give me your CR. /grabby hands

Steve Rogers | MCU | neversurrender

Steve is also a generally friendly guy who has a ton of CR opportunities. He's super easy to get along with as long as your character isn't a dick, but even then negative CR is awesome too! spoiler alert: steve is fun to taunt He's also got the whole soldier-type/Avenger thing going on which opens him up to a lot of CR. He's also a member of the Art Club!

I really want more CR for: I'd really like some more CR for Belle especially. She's the newer one of my two characters and I haven't really had the chance to put her out there more due to various reasons. So any potential CR/ideas would be really great because I'm not always sure what I should throw her into.

ALSO: Ax and I have possible future plans of Belle and Saori starting a Book Club. So it would be really great to know if anyone would be interested in having their character(s) participate in it.

And as always more CR for Steve is always welcome but I feel like he has a good foundation already and doesn't need quite as much help as Belle.

Belle's Brood

Adele LeBlanc | Original Character | fleurdesel Pings include: Music, dance, injury, some general medical but predominantly things that require non-super-specialized surgery. She also has a habit of finding trouble or stumbling into problems unprepared so if you'd like to go that way I'm totally down. She spends most of her time at the battledome either working in a sim or in the clinic and has become more civil if not more polite overall in her time here.

Right now she's deaged which opens her pings up to some pop culture, more music and literature, and just general curiosity and closes out all of the medical side since she can't remember any of that medical training. Little Adele is very friendly and much more open to magic and the fantastic now that she's realized this place is a thing and she may as well get used to it.


Zevran Arainai | Dragon Age Origins | antivanleather Pings include: Hunting, fighting, coffee, romance (trolling it), some poetry (trolling it), sex and sexy things (sincere or trolling), massage, a very loose interest in herbalisim, a pointed interest in trap and poison making, and a budding curiosity in magic.

Zevran's a fairly easy going little elf, but he's a more adult oriented character than most might want to interact with due to his backstory (raised by whores and bought as a child to learn to kill, etc.) So finding solid CR for him would be great. If you want jokey trolling with none of the adult connotations please let me know and I'll be happy to work with you to keep the thread fun without making it uncomfortable for anyone.


Ben Grimm | Marvel Comics/Fantastic Four | revoltndevelopment Pings: Fighting, kids, engineering (flight, control systems, some electrical, etc), cooking, poker, cigars, casual drinks, punching the devil and planet eating aliens, heroes and heroism 101 - advanced courses, and being a laid back uncle figure, and pranks.

Ben Grimm is easily my easiest character to get along with. He'll take most things without complaint, even commentary on his person, so long as you're not Johnny Storm. He's heard it all before. He's a laid back mook from Manhattan, bit of a family man, a lot of a fighter, and a bit of an engineer even if he can't do much by way of designing or building anything at the moment. He's happy to consult, though, or just act as a sounding board. He is also a pranky bastard.


I really want more CR for: Zevran could use more people to troll and Ben could use more poker/training buddies. >.> And I will never, ever turn down CR for Adele. Ever.

Gambit is... well, he's Gambit. Everyone is more mature than him. He jokes around all the time, enjoys irritating people, and is just overall a pain in the ass. That said, he's got his good side, and it's slowly growing stronger. He's not evil, even though he was a bad guy in canon. It's just that he likes to have fun and will usually do whatever he has to in order to protect whatever matters most... it's just that he does it totally bass-ackwards. Suspicious of most people. Doesn't flirt as much as he used to, but still does.

Applejack | My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic | honestapples

AJ is a pony from a series called "Friendship is Magic." If that doesn't tell you about the kind of friend she is and how important it is to her, well... She's like the big sister to a decent chunk of the cast and likes to be there for everypony. That said, she's competitive. Very much so. Gets along with anyone, really, but bad guys will get on her bad side. (I am still totally open to that, though.)

Tito's new here and I haven't intro'd him yet, buuut... He's a very timid person, but he also tries very hard to make sure that people like him and that he gets along with anyone. He's very supportive of his friends and honestly would get along with anyone, good or bad. He's a werewolf, too, if that might interest anyone.

Name: Jess
Characters + CR Details: Toshizo Hijikata (zumo) ; ultimate tsundere Vice-Commander of the Shinsengumi from an alternate world where the shogunate forced them to start turning their men into rasetsu (think vampires). Which he is now, though it's not common knowledge and he's very good at passing as human (the rules are different so he can walk around during the daytime and such). Other characters within the game who can sense the supernatural have already done so with him, so that would be an option!

He's in his early thirties, stubborn and set in his ways, and maintains a sense of distance with pretty much everyone; force of habit due to his duties and rank back home. However, I'd be interested in any long-term development for him, either positive or negative! He's more likely to click with fellow military types and Japanese, but I'm slowly starting to get him outside of his comfort zone now. He's likely to tsun at any characters he likes for quite a while, but it's pretty obvious when he makes the switch to becoming openly hostile...which he shouldn't have any reason to here unless someone is attacking innocents/people he cares about/that sort of thing.

So pings would be pretty much anything Japanese, especially from the Edo/Bakumatsu periods, military/combat stuff, anything supernatural that would remind him of rasetsu, and uh...haiku. He tends to have a soft spot for saving vulnerable women orz....he's very easy to troll or tease, as well, since he tends to just get indignant and defensive over everything.


I really want more CR for: Hijikata's my only one! As I said, he would probably take something more mid to long-term to really get to know people and get used to all these strange people/happenings in Luceti, which I am absolutely fine with.

Jack Holden (250mhzwabl): The survivors of a zombie apocalypse tend to be strong, well-supplied, or lucky. Jack is definitely in the last category. He's a study in what happens when a post-university do-nothing is suddenly flung into a world gone feral, and definitely has a few brain scratches, but most of the time he's sliding somewhere around the snarky-earnest spectrum, with a strong predilection for banter. He thinks he's clever, and sometimes he is. But sometimes he's just an ass.

I really want more CR for: Who else? Jack might not be his usual charming self right off the bat - he's a teensy bit paranoid at the moment regarding the inhabitants of Luceti (read: ready to put bars on the windows, driving his boyfriend Eugene round the bend, so on so forth). But I'd like for him to meet people, all the same - even when he's being guarded, he's naturally curious and would be interested in some of the diverse worlds represented among the populace. Lupin has been in Luceti for a year this cycle and he is currently living in Community House 1. He's an extroverted, friendly man who has a very large untrusting and evasive streak. He likes to be around people, up to a point--such is the life of an internationally wanted thief.

His pings are scattered, and they have evolved over his time here in Luceti. The usuals remain. Commentary over technology tends to grab his attention, as does music, piracy, treasure hunting, costumes/disguise, and generally people being loud. However, due inherent curiosity and his participation in the event in June, questions about current affairs, information, and possible ways these affect life in the village also catch his attention.

--> Haruhi Suzumiya is the founder and leader of the SOS-Brigade, which presents the highest chance of interaction. The Brigade in Luceti has evolved into a (somewhat selfishly oriented) support group, offering low end counseling, willing to throw parties and organize events, and is behind that penpal thing you've all heard of. In her personal life, Haruhi is a surprisingly dedicated matron for her home (House 10) and has been working on developing several skills, as long as they hold her interest. Having been in Luceti four years (sort of) a lot of what she used to see as weird and interesting has now become mundane, but things she has not seen before or not seen a lot of is really fascinating to her. She also likes to dress up people in cosplay.

He's a flirty and layered individual who can be really hard to get to know personally, because he puts up a hugely flippant and annoying front. Fun-loving, a little eccentric... Masaomi Kida can handle both absurd social situations and combat, because he's pretty much a Badass Normal by now. Oh, and he has a Pikachu. He's a closet literature nerd, likes cute girls, and getting strong. Has gained a significant sense of responsibility in his over two years in Luceti, both personally and to the village/enclosure as a whole.

Rin Okumura | Blue Exorcist | rashness
15/16 years old, male, single
A shounen hero if there ever was one, and the son of Satan. He's a demon who's inherited Satan's blue flames, and is incredibly strong as a result. He's also jovial, fun loving, good natured, and one of the kindest people you will ever meet. A little dense, he is an excellent cook and works at Seventh Heaven in that capacity. He also desperately wants to be doing more and is frustrated at his own relative powerlessness for the Luceti situation. He's also an exorcist.

I really want more CR for: I would love some more members of affiliates for the SOS-Brigade, but I know that's reaching. Haruhi and Masaomi both have fairly established circles of friends, sadly, but I would love both of branch out more. Rin has a less solid friend base, and is probably more friendly than both of them when it comes down to it. That that would be cool.

late thirties. 6' tall. sean bean-y. sharpe is a rifleman from 1813. he wears a green jacket. he has a wicked looking scar on one cheek. he's not exceptionally social but he likes to pal around and have a good time chatting with mates, should he ever manage to make any who aren't weird sailors or weirder wizards. he's a sucker for a pretty face and while he's not the most intellectual mind, he has a shrewdness for strategy. he was born in the gutters and achieved his commission through an act of bravery in india that he doesn't like to talk about. he's been married once before and his canon point puts him at right before marrying for a second time. he doesn't like the journals, so he might be best approached in person.

Ling Yao avaricious
The prince of Xing, soon to be Emperor. He's been in Luceti for a year and recently he has had to face some difficult times as he comes to grip with other people of Xing in other enclosures, on top of facing defeat and doubts about his readiness to rule. Also he might have a thing for his hot bodyguard, but he can't do anything about it because he's expected to marry royalty. I'm looking to have him start working at the Welcome Center.

Spike avaricious
Poet turned vampire, Spike is still new to Luceti and has been recklessly persistent in trying to escape. Being a vampire is a challenge, from his canon anyway. He can't come out during the day without difficulty and until recently, lived far outside of town. He recently lost Drusilla, so he'll be moving in an apartment soon. Right now he doesn't have any close bonds to anyone besides Buffy who he happens to be in love with.

Logan snikting
Member of the X-Men and all around grump. Wolverine has been in Luceti for a few months now and begrudgingly got used to the situation. Right now he doesn't do much more than stick around in the Battle Dome where he'll spend hours upon hours going through one difficult scenario to the next. He's not much for a social life in Luceti despite being in desperate need of one. He's looking to start training people with powers in the Battle Dome in typical Danger Room style.

Sokka markofthewise
Sokka saved the world or something back home, but after three years in Luceti, his life is more defined by his experiences here than at home. He's pretty involved in the village and is the head of the smithy as well as a member of Brave Vesperia. Lately he's been learning alchemy from Edward Elric, so he spends a lot of time in the library pouring over scientific journals and alchemy notes.

Albert's the longest lasting resident in the current experiment cycle in Luceti. He's a war strategist by occupation, and he had a decent amount of influence in how Luceti was treated once they had contact with Bil. He works in Sheena's tea shop in the mornings and goes horseback riding later in the day, and he enjoys gardening during warmer months. He's spent the last year becoming more experienced with his own world's magic. He's currently adjusting to having a giant owl hanging around and probably will be traveling to the mountains more often, and he was cursed by Moro on the draft.

I'd love to have him pick up a weapons teacher or two; I know there were some ideas of him learning how to shoot, and he's looking to improve his finesse with a bladed weapon for dealing with Shift Hunters. He's already attended the Brave Vesperia training school to see what they had to offer.

Leon D.S. Geeste | Star Ocean Blue Sphere | fellpool

Leon's a teenage prodigy who's largely downplayed his genius in favor of making friends and learning not to be socially awkward. He's a long-time member of the SOS-Brigade and helps out with many things, from creating the teleporters to maintaining electricity in non-Malnosso buildings. He enjoys putting his skills to use, though he doesn't enjoy building things as much as he does implementing Symbology where necessary.

He attends school, hangs out in the Brigade room, and plays the violin in his free time. He's decent with a sword because of training with Claude, but much more of a 'mage type' in a pinch. He creates elemental weapons with Sokka based off of special gems and ore from his world. He's also developed a fascination in his Lesser Fellpool ancestry, having experienced turning a cat on a few occasions.

Walter [Delques] | Tales of Legendia | blackteriques

A Ferines who has been in Luceti in the past and then returned. He's changed a lot (largely for the better) since his initial time in Luceti, but he's still a protective, stern, and oftentimes suspicious person. He's definitely not easy to get along with, especially if you are from his world. Since he rarely makes good friends, he becomes protective when he actually likes them. He learned carpentry to pass the time in the past, and now spends more time carving and hanging around bodies of water (when it's relatively warm).

Akihiko Sanada | Persona 4 Arena | thunderfists

A well-meaning and very driven young man who arrived in September. He's a Persona-user and a boxer, spending most free hours of the day training in some shape or form. Though he has spent years honing his skills as a fistfighter, he likely would be receptive to learning other ways to fight. He also loves to eat -- primarily beef bowls, but he's sure to like anything involving large amounts of protein. Even though he's no slouch in the smarts department (high grades in school), he's pretty clueless when it comes to women and some other social cues/references.

I really want more CR for: Any and all of them, since most of them have their difficulties. Walter and Albert are hard to engage in casual conversation, Leon would benefit from having more people to hang out with since some close friends had disappeared or died recently, and Akihiko's still fairly new.
