Other RP's are doing so I thought why the heck not? Do you have trouble getting your foot in the door with developing CR for your character? Or perhaps you're just not sure how to go about it? Maybe you have hidden plots you wanna try out or you're just greedy and want all the CR. Well, whatever it is, come on down! That's just what this meme's for. ♥

Name: Jess
Characters + CR Details: Toshizo Hijikata (zumo) ; ultimate tsundere Vice-Commander of the Shinsengumi from an alternate world where the shogunate forced them to start turning their men into rasetsu (think vampires). Which he is now, though it's not common knowledge and he's very good at passing as human (the rules are different so he can walk around during the daytime and such). Other characters within the game who can sense the supernatural have already done so with him, so that would be an option!

He's in his early thirties, stubborn and set in his ways, and maintains a sense of distance with pretty much everyone; force of habit due to his duties and rank back home. However, I'd be interested in any long-term development for him, either positive or negative! He's more likely to click with fellow military types and Japanese, but I'm slowly starting to get him outside of his comfort zone now. He's likely to tsun at any characters he likes for quite a while, but it's pretty obvious when he makes the switch to becoming openly hostile...which he shouldn't have any reason to here unless someone is attacking innocents/people he cares about/that sort of thing.

So pings would be pretty much anything Japanese, especially from the Edo/Bakumatsu periods, military/combat stuff, anything supernatural that would remind him of rasetsu, and uh...haiku. He tends to have a soft spot for saving vulnerable women orz....he's very easy to troll or tease, as well, since he tends to just get indignant and defensive over everything.


I really want more CR for: Hijikata's my only one! As I said, he would probably take something more mid to long-term to really get to know people and get used to all these strange people/happenings in Luceti, which I am absolutely fine with.

You know Jess, this should be a thing. Saori and Hijikata should definitely meet up. Since, y'know, traditional Japanese folks and all. She's from a different era though.

And he and Rei should keep teasing one another =p

No. She'll get a sense that he isn't human, but nothing more than that and she's WAY more circumspect.. So unless he advertises it, she probably won't even ask.

And she doesn't have quite the same issues Rei does with that sort of thing since...y'know...she isn't exactly human herself.

He definitely is not advertising so YAY THEY CAN BE FRIENDS. Or. As close to friends as Toshi will get right off the bat.

Yeah, ahahah, him finding out she's centuries old. (If SHE adertises that, anyway). He'd probably be a little intimidated. And be awkward about trying not to show it because he is a manly man!!! And let's face it, she is not exactly bad looking either.

She doesn't hide it, or her relative lack of humanity, very well. People in Luceti have been accepting of it, so she's not as worried about hiding what she is. and her pb is way prettier than she is supposed to be

Dubiously and sometimes Haiku and sometimes ... Tanka or Waka or other forms like that I'm better at remembering the stylistic nature of than the name.

Well! Selphie's met Heisuke, talked to Chizuru and listened to Toshi's haiku's thanks to the Souji's, I think it's time she meets Toshi. She might tease him a little bit though but it's generally harmless.

Plus, Selphie is bitty and kicks ass? :D

Well, Hijikata and Precis (rocketpunch) met but I don't really see it going anywhere positive because he's totally hot and she's crazy...but if you're looking for something long term, Sakura might work. She's all stoic and traditional. Hibiki is Japanese, too, and so is Panda but he's terrifying. He seems really fun, though!

(re: Precis it's actually okay, Hijikata has fangirls back home believe it or not so it's not like it's a totally foreign concept. He'd just brush her off scowling and try to ignore it :| )

He's likely to yell and look sternly at everyone regardless, sob. I mean, PANDA, wtf even.
