IC Christmas Gifts Meme!



So, it's that time of year again! And since 'tis the season, some of your characters may have gifts to give out. But it's kind of a hassle to track down everyone and tell them what their character is getting, right? Never fear! The IC Christmas Gifts Meme is here to simply the process and keep everything together in one place.

How it works:

1.) Post with your characters. If you feel so inclined, include a list of what they will be giving their CR for the holidays!
2.) Reply to other characters with what your character is giving them!
3.) Mutually assured profit!

Mihawk: A bottle of rather expensive red wine, aptly named Screaming Eagle, as well as a hawk pin.
Zoro: A bottle of rather classy aged rum, named Ron Barcelo Imperial. Also a compass JUST BECAUSE.
Sanji: A pack of cigarettes with a lighter, a cookbook including some Halloween themed foods (where Perona's noted her favorites), and a coat and shirt combo.
Sabo: A heaping pile of cakes, cookies, fudge, peppermint bark, you name it as well as a book of Perona's favorite ghost stories. Also, a rather impressive looking knife.
Law: A gift basket, though laden with many a different kind of alcohol, ranging from beer to the harder stuff like straight rum, vodka, and even some tequila. Enjoy. Also, a pair of leather gloves.
Marco: GRUDGINGLY. A bag of self-made sweets, and a blackbird doll.
Smoker: Three Negative Hollows, two loud curse words, and a right hook to your stupid marine face. B|

Aang: Some self-made cookies and sweets as well as a knitted beanie to keep his bald little head warm in the winter. :|b
Itachi: Some audiobooks Perona found at the library, mostly of horror and mystery stories. She also got him a necklace.
Saleh: Some selfmade sweets as well as a bouquet of white roses and lavender. A thank you card will be attached, too.
Pinkie Pie: Cakes and sweets of all kinds as well as a spiderweb silk scarf.
Hayate: A butler bear! Holiday themed, too! Also, some organic teas and sweets Perona made herself.
Fujiko: The infamous little black dress.
Leanne: A feathery, white gown as well as some of Perona's favorite haunted songs on a private journal audio for Leanne only.

Ace: A skull bracelet, though the eyes are rubies instead of emeralds. And a large Norma version of a fruit cake WHICH YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO SHARE WITH YOUR BROTHERS. DON'T EAT IT ALL, ACE. She worked really hard making that, everyone should enjoy it.
Marco: A note saying I already got you a birthday present, jeez! Greedy! But nah, you get a little stuffed phoenix that'll fit in the palm of your hand.
Sabo: Some adventure books - both about pirates and some about treasure hunters and stuff (think Indiana Jones, etc).
Yotsuba: A godzilla outfit. :|b So she can be a Normonster, too.
Zelos: A box of fine chocolates and an IOU note saying "IOU - another dance. ♥".
Taokaka: FISH. Yes, fish. A plate of fresh baked, grilled, and fried fish of various kinds for your culinary pleasure. And a ball of yarn. |D
Hiccup: A cute little dragon plush and a small bouquet of these - snapdragons.
Mia: A crystal bracelet.
Vivi: A crystal snow globe.

...OH NO. Fenimore is going to be like "oh, that's nice," but kind of wonder why this in particular but well they do look kind of nice. And then when she clicks that they're tulips and remember that Norma's nickname for Thyra is Tulip, she will probably cover her mouth briefly and excuse herself before she starts to cry because she's really touched even if she doesn't really associate her sister with tulips at all herself.

And also feel kind of bad that Norma is only getting several jam tarts and a yellow knitted hat and scarf. So she'll have to think of something good for Norma for her birthday, whenever that is.

vhchhhft F-FenFen, nooo. ;; Oh man, poor Norma will be so confused at first. I think she'd take that as Fenimore was upset or something SHE HAS NO IDEA FENIMORE WHY ARE YOU CRYING, SHE DIDN'T MEAN TO. Sob.

And shush, woman, food and cute clothes are awesome. Norma's just extremely materialistic, so a lot of the people she knows are getting jewelry.

Haha, perhaps I should use that as a way to decide which day to tag Norma on the Christmas log as "encounter on the 25th at the memorial garden to explain that, no, she liked the present, what do you mean crying there was no crying e-ergh."

True! And with the Luceti shops being free, food is probably pretty up there in value due to the effort involved. But Fenimore is ascribing deeper meaning to Norma's gift that is kind of generally absent in most food gifts, so.

Oooh, that there is a very good idea! o: Norma will definitely kinda feel a little odd around Fenimore since she gave her that present and stuff, yupyup. But she will definitely be happy that Fenimore actually likes her gift and really appreciates it more than she expected her to.

Sob, Fenimore, you think too much. Norma's fine with anything she gets, honestly, She's materialistic, yes, but she's not ENTIRELY impolite, and she loves all her friends so getting gifts from them is wonderful, no matter what they are. ;u;

Annnnnd I was about to do so when I realized: how wee hours of the night are we talking for this? Fenimore won't be out too wee of hours, but she might go out to look for her at only somewhat wee hours.

Oh, pffft, I think I was half asleep when I typed that up. Norma's not going to stay out very late in the cold on Christmas day. Probably the very latest she's stay out til is midnight, but even that's pushing it. She hates the cold like nothing else, so she won't stay out in it long if she can help it, and the WC is pretty far from their house if I recall.

So maaaybeee like, eleven-ish? Maybe? idrk. ;;

Nami: Some mikan jam and preserves she made, as well as chocolate dipped, candy orange peels.
Sanji: It's hard to top her knife set, but Miyabi's finally thought of a good thing for you, big brother! B|9 She got you a plate set that she made herself and painted as well. They're all varying sizes and also include matching bowls and some chopsticks.
Zoro: A statue of the rat god where his little sword is removeable and functions as a real knife.
Marco: A phoenix statue that's really an incense burner as well. She included some incense sticks, too.
Asch: A drawing set, including two scrolls, two charcoal pencils, a quill and ink pot, and three brushes in various sizes. And a little ball of erasing clay.
Luke: A really pretty little music box that plays this diddy here.
Vash: Donuts. :| Yes, she finally figured out how to make them.
Rapunzel: Much like Asch, Rapuzel gets a painting set. A much larger, thicker scroll with an ink stone, five charcoal pencils (one is white, one is grey), three pots of paint (red, blue and yellow), and eight brushes in various shapes and sizes. Also a larger chunk of erasing clay.
Ikki: Another drawing/painting kit with a lot less supplies and a good stack of orgiami paper.
Aang: A small, hand-made and painted statue of Amaterasu.
Elicia: A toy sword and a bright and colorful kimono as well as some hairpins, though the pearl in the center is pink.
Alexei: A broadsword she found at the smithy, and a little box of dried organic tea leaves and flowers, each separated into its own small compartment and labeled accordingly.

Aang will try to make as many paintings of Amaterasu as he can, one even being a noodle art. He also includes some pretty paintbrushes he finds and and a makeshift sweater knitted with a wolf face on it.

omigosh, that is too darn cute. AANG STAHP. Miya will be really, really happy by his efforts, not even gonna lie. She'll probably ask to keep one of the paintings, too. She has a set folder that she keeps of artwork from her Luceti friends.
