1) Height: 5'3

2) Weight: 125-130 approx

3) Eye color/Hair Color: red hair, green eyes (even if the comics are occasionally conflicted over this)

4) Age: 84! (yes really) She was born around 1928 but due to SPOILERS she pretty much appears in her mid-to-late 20's.

5) Physical features: she's very short? Moves with a sort of controlled grace and confidence

6) Voice: Scarlett Interview (she starts talking right about 1:00) She has sort of a deeper huskier voice in general (Scarlett's said she gets asked if she has a sore throat on a typical basis) I'd say she's normally pretty soft-spoken, but again, she's capable of changing just about anything in her mannerism if the situation calls for it, so it just depends on what she's trying to accomplish.

7) Who do they live with and how are chores divided in their house/apartment?: She lives in CH5 Floor Six and is generally a tidy person (except for the occasional state of her bedroom) so she picks up after herself if she makes any messes. She can typically be founding out on the Marvel floor below, however, where Clint resides, and most mornings finds her in their kitchen making coffee or bringing by a delivery from the bakery after her morning run.

8) Their favorite (and least favorite, if you want) foods and who does the cooking in their house/apartment?: She loves Thai cuisine in general and has a fondness for anything spicy. She's traveled a lot and enjoys trying interesting food from all over. She DOES cook on occasion, finds it relaxing, something she does in the occasional downtime she gets.

9) What they do during an average day in Luceti: She typically gets up fairly early for a run unless there's someone keeping her in bed. She has coffee and breakfast typically on Floor 5. Most mornings, she helps out the Xmen training at the Battle Dome, or some of the private lessons she gives to certain friends. She trains for herself for an hour or two there too, but that varies when and what. Right now she's working a lot on the cafe to get that open at the end of the month and once it does, she'll be spending considerable time there as well. Not to mention the occasional mission she sends herself on. Evenings find her taking it easy at home or at Clint's or at Bucky's. Or possibly the bar, depending on her mood. She gets out and moves quite a bit, touching base with her team and her friends and acquaintances and that's often the easiest way to do it in the course of the day. She prefers to keep busy, but she also knows how to indulge and relax when she wants, too.

10) Their general sense of fashion: Natasha typically goes for comfort. She's most commonly found in a pair of jeans, although her tops come in all different styles depending on her mood. If she's after something or undercover, she shapes her appearance to fit whatever role she's playing.

11) Do they have any hobbies? Did they come up with these hobbies in Luceti, or was it something they always did?: She hasn't had a lot of time to take up a consistent hobby. She spars a lot, trains. Hangs out with her companions in random spurts of socialness. Back home, she often enjoyed taking in a show or going to concerts, maybe out to the occasional club. She DOES still privately indulge in dance now and then, mostly when she's feeling restless or unsettled. The style changes with her mood. The past of a ballet dancer (whether real or imprinted) is something that still helps center her when she's feeling disconnected from herself, funnily enough.

12) Has the situation in Luceti changed their view on certain topics/the way they react to different things?: Not... really? She's had a long time to develop her own views and opinions on things. The world's certainly gotten much bigger in her eyes. If anything, coming to Luceti has given her the longest stretch of vacation she's had in... ever. The downtime has given her more time to make connections she might not have had time or opportunity for before.

13) Do they have a weapon? If so, do they carry it at all times or just under certain circumstances?: A weapon?? Natasha typically has several on her person at any given time. Usually small blades or devices she's rigged. She does have her field suit here and her utility belt typically had a stock of small easy-to-conceal weaponry. She also has a pair of Glock 26s she typically carries in thigh holsters when suiting up for a fight.

14) Do they have any pets? Would these pets be at their homes, or do they hang out with the character in question?: Does Clint count?

15) Who are their neighbors?: Peggy Carter shares floor 6 with her, but Natasha spends as much time on the 5th floor as her own, so she counts Clint, Loki, Billy and Teddy among her neighbors as well. Also considering the time she's been spending at Bucky and Steve's lately...

16) Who are their best friends in Luceti? How often do they spend time with them and doing what? Clint. They're still inseparable, often going on runs or sparring together. She's now also spending a considerable amount of time with Bucky since they've started dating. Pepper also ranks very highly, and outside of her two boys, is counted as Natasha's closest friend. The team in general falls after that, since they're all important to Tasha, and there's quite a few others who are making their way up on the list of good friends, much to her surprise.

17) On the flip side, is there anyone they actively don’t get along with? How do they interact, and would people know about this? Loki? She regards him from the opposite side of a wary truce for the moment. She wouldn't be outright hostile unless provoked and they are all trapped here - it wouldn't be the first time a situation has changed an enemy into an ally for her (HAH, she'd be the last one to discount that, considering who she is) but at the same time, he now possesses a vast amount of knowledge about her she is uncomfortable with anyone knowing, especially someone she does not trust. Other than that, she's more ambivalent about the rest of the people around her. At the moment, she's not a fan of Saori, but that's because Complicated. >.>

18) Their favorite areas/stores/hang-out locations?: The Battle Dome. More often than not, she can be found here. In the evenings, if she's not settled in at home or with company, she can often be found drinking at the bar. Once the coffee shop gets opened, I'm sure she'll be a fixture there, whether she's working or not.

19) Do they belong to any clubs or organizations? Which ones? Do they go regularly, or just occasionally? Not really? Although she'd support Billy's club if he needs anything.

20) Wing color and how do they deal with their wings?: black with blood-red tips. She's rather fascinated by them, to be honest. She typically wears shirts that will accommodate them, leaving them visible, but has jackets overtop for protection when she's travelling here and there.

21) Did they change or grow in any way physically since coming to Luceti?: Her hair's gotten longer - she pulls it back or up more often now.

22) What do they miss the most from home?: Starbucks Coulson The activity. She misses the missions, the thrill of it, of having something to do that's useful and means something.

23) What does their handwriting look like? Do they write the way they talk, or is there a clear difference between the two?: Phrasing, she tends to write pretty formal. Her handwriting itself is neat and simple without a lot of flourishes, tends to print. She can change this when necessary - again, will adopt a style to fit the persona she's portraying.

24) Is the way they act in person different from the way they act over the journal system?: She doesn't often write posts over the journal, at least not open ones - she's a very private person in general. Still she does partake in conversations here and there, and for the most part she's very much herself, although she's always careful about what she says or what she gives away in a public space, preferring filters or face-to-face meetings.

25) Did they gain/lose any personal goals during their stay in Luceti?: Does opening a coffee shop count?

26) Is Luceti a technological upgrade, or downgrade for them? Have they adapted to these changes well?: On some counts, its a downgrade - the loss of the internet, of everything being wireless and connected with a world's worth of information or entertainment accessible at any time from your nearest device, that's a loss she feels at times. The Battle Dome is something a little more advanced than they have back home (although the technology is probably there and doable) but otherwise it hasn't been too much of a culture shock for her.

27) FOR STUDENTS: What is their favorite class? What is their least favorite class? What about their general behavior in school?: N/A

28) FOR DRINKERS: What is their favorite drink? What is their least favorite drink? Do they prefer Good Spirits or Cloud Nine? What's their attitude about and while drinking?: She has pretty varied tastes, from vodka to whiskey to rum to wine. She has a hard time getting drunk so it doesn't affect her system as quickly as others. Only a few people know she's got a thing for port, but it's an indulgence she saves for special occasions.

29) Do they have any special talents? If so, what are they?: She has a very specific skillset... >.> Also, she can totally tie a knot in a cherry stem with her tongue. :| The rest of it is classified.

30) Have they learned any new skills or abilities in Luceti? If so, what are they? Why and how? She's certainly honing the ones she has, especially with a variety of people to train off of and learn from, like Logan and Derek. Pepper's attempts at contacting the spirits have also piqued her interest, although she's not sure that's something she wants to pursue.

31) What kind of habits do they have on drafts? Are they willing to kill or do they prefer to avoid fighting? She'll kill if she needs to. She's not overly squeamish about it, typically - if someone's trying to kill her, she'd rather drop them instead. She's also very good at just incapacitating if it's a short melee or scuffle. But in something like TERRACE, when every enemy left alive was someone who might come at them again and take down an innocent? She wasn't going to risk it.

32) What kind of habits do they have on missions? What is their reason for going on them? What do they intend to use their points for? She tends to favor the fighting or infiltration missions, something to give her a challenge. Especially if there's Cultists involved, she's really not fond of those guys. The points have gone to a couple places - the majority to Tony's portal project, some are now going to help cure Pepper from Extremis as well as supplying the cafe with the remaining equipment it needs to open and run.

33) How long have they been in Luceti? Has that length of time impacted them in any way?: She's been there since this past November. And it's hard for this not to impact her. Coming in from just after the invasion on New York, she's worried about what's going on back home, especially since almost the entirety of the Avengers are here. Tony and Pepper's recent canon update haven't helped assuage any of her concerns, either. Although she has a conundrum in choosing if 'going home' becomes a thing. Namely, Bucky. He's here, alive. Not the James she knew, but still himself and leaving that, leaving him, isn't something she's sure she could do without a dire reason. She hopes no one gives her one, because she wants to hold onto this as long as she can.

34) How do they unwind and get back to normal after a brutal experiment, event, or draft? There's usually alcohol involved, yes. Possibly sex. Possibly beating the shit out of something Hopefully not someone. For her own personal unwinding time, a long soak in a hot bath with soft music and a glass of wine usually does the trick.

35) What is their worst experience from an experiment or kidnapping? Were there any that they actually liked? Being caught by a Dream Shifter and having to kill Clint to shatter it.

Artemis

[personal profile] thisismylife 2013-06-20 04:45 pm (UTC)(link)
1) Height: 5'4

2) Weight: 108

3) Eye color/Hair Color: Black eyes, blond hair

4) Age: 15 (going on 16 as of July 31)

5) Physical features: Artemis is a mix of Caucasian and Vietnamese descent (which shows in both her and her sister Jade's features)

6) Voice: Artemis Clips: Memory Loss Clip, Artemis and Wally in 'Insecurity', Artemis and her dad

7) Who do they live with and how are chores divided in their house/apartment?: She lives in CH5 Floor 4 and shares an apartment with Zatanna. Floormates include both Robins and Static (because the Justice kids needed to rival the Avengers ones upstairs) Chores are a toss-up at any given time. I have a feeling it gets left go until someone gets fed up or trips over something enough times to go into a cleaning spree, although Artemis doesn't have a lot of things to clutter here.

8) Their favorite (and least favorite, if you want) foods and who does the cooking in their house/apartment?: She likes pizza. She has pretty simple tastes. Occasionally a sweet tooth. She did the cooking for herself back home - mostly simple stuff that came with instructions or that didn't take a lot of effort to make. Here she doesn't mind doing the same. Her and Zatanna go in random spurts of cooking and always make sure to make enough so the boys can eat too.

9) What they do during an average day in Luceti: It depends. She kinda goes on a whim. Sometimes its to the Dome or the forest to train or practice. Sometimes its wandering around town. Sometimes it's just chilling around the apartment. She's still avoiding the whole school thing so most of her days are pretty open-ended outside of keeping her skills from getting rusty.

10) Their general sense of fashion: Very casual, almost boyish. She's typically in jeans and a tshirt or tanktop, when she's not in uniform.

11) Do they have any hobbies? Did they come up with these hobbies in Luceti, or was it something they always did?: Hobbies wasn't something she had a lot of time for, between school and her dad's training, and then school and the Team. Unless archery counts as a hobby, which it sort of is. Her free time back home was spent on patrolling her hometown or missions. She does have a fondness for music, though. And video games. She has random spurts of girlish urges, but doesn't really know what to do with them, having never really had 'girl-time' or even many female friends growing up.

12) Has the situation in Luceti changed their view on certain topics/the way they react to different things?: No, except it's unsettled her all over again, just when she'd thought she'd figured out where she fit in on the grand scheme of things. The whole multiple-Robins thing threw her for a loop as well.

13) Do they have a weapon? If so, do they carry it at all times or just under certain circumstances?: She has two bows, her compound bow which is what she uses most often, but she also has a collapsible crossbow she wears on a thigh holster. She also has a few small throwing daggers hidden on her person. She's not always armed - sometimes even less here in Luceti Stop looking at her like that, Robin but she's also decent in hand-to-hand so she's not exactly helpless even when she doesn't have a weapon on her

14) Do they have any pets? Would these pets be at their homes, or do they hang out with the character in question?: Not... as far as I know.

15) Who are their neighbors?: Zatanna shares the apartment with her, and the two Robins and Static are on the same floor. She's also pretty good friends with Billy and Teddy upstairs and has a sort of awkward acquaintance with Clint, who got Shifted into her dad for the span of an event, although they haven't really... dealt with that at all.

16) Who are their best friends in Luceti? How often do they spend time with them and doing what? Zatanna. She was thrilled when the other girl showed up from home. She also feels really close to both Robins and she's getting to know Static. Outside of the people from her homeworld, she'd probably count Katniss, Sokka, Kurt, Korra, Suki, Cross, Billy and Teddy on the list of people working their way into friendship, once she has some more time here.

17) On the flip side, is there anyone they actively don’t get along with? How do they interact, and would people know about this? Not really. She hasn't really bumped into anyone who's rubbed her the wrong way here, although her interactions with Sokka and Robin stand a 50/50 chance of being aggravating at any given moment. Not that that would stop her from interacting with them.

18) Their favorite areas/stores/hang-out locations?: The Battle Dome or the forest. I have a feeling she'll probably chill a bit in the cafe and I should really have her discover the rec center, because I can imagine she'd spend a lot of time chilling there.

19) Do they belong to any clubs or organizations? Which ones? Do they go regularly, or just occasionally? Not really (unless Luceti's version of Teen Titans counts as a thing?) She might occasionally show up at one of Billy's club things for support.

20) Wing color and how do they deal with their wings?: Varying shades of green that blend with her uniform. They kind of freak her out a little. When she's in casual clothes, she typically hides them under her tshits or jacket. That's not really possible in her uniform, so they're exposed then, but she keeps them tight to her so they're not a vulnerability.

21) Did they change or grow in any way physically since coming to Luceti?: not really. Her hair might have gotten a little longer but it's typically long anyway, so that's not very noticeable.

22) What do they miss the most from home?: Her team.

23) What does their handwriting look like? Do they write the way they talk, or is there a clear difference between the two?: Casual ad careless. It's legible, but usually a quick scrawl. If she's jotting notes, it's probably short and disjointed, not bothering with complete sentences. In conversation, yeah, she pretty much writes like she talks. Maybe a bit more censored. >.>

24) Is the way they act in person different from the way they act over the journal system?: Artemis is pretty much herself anywhere you encounter her.

25) Did they gain/lose any personal goals during their stay in Luceti?: Darn, she was totally going to be King of the World, too. I'm not sure she's really gained/lost any? She's still trying to find her feet. She'd just sort of really settled into where she belonged back home and on the team when all that got yanked out from underneath her. The revisiting of her insecurities with the Shard plot is also playing havoc for a while, but she wants to move on from her past and not let it define her so much, which is why she's putting it out in the open as soon as she's back to her right state of mind again.

26) Is Luceti a technological upgrade, or downgrade for them? Have they adapted to these changes well?: In some ways a little of both? Although I imagine they have something similar to the Battle Dome simulations back home - the psychic mission they get sent on for training certainly seemed real enough in a way none of them were prepared to deal with. The downside to here is they've lost the internet, television - the primary link of communications and entertainment and knowledge sharing, so that's a strike against it. The journals serve as some of this but can't make up for what had been built and created back home.

27) FOR STUDENTS: What is their favorite class? What is their least favorite class? What about their general behavior in school?: SHE'S STILL AVOIDING THE WHOLE SCHOOL THING. If she gets sent back to the same point and time she left it, what does taking classes here matter anyway? >.> This is totally valid logic okay.

28) FOR DRINKERS: What is their favorite drink? What is their least favorite drink? Do they prefer Good Spirits or Cloud Nine? What's their attitude about and while drinking?: Soda. :| No, really, she's fifteen, drinking's not an issue yet.

29) Do they have any special talents? If so, what are they?: Archery. Stealth. Hand-to-hand combat. Being a smart ass?

30) Have they learned any new skills or abilities in Luceti? If so, what are they? Why and how? Ummm she's got some new teachers so I think she's probably improving? I think she may also start trying to contact the spirits once this whole Shard business blows over.

31) What kind of habits do they have on drafts? Are they willing to kill or do they prefer to avoid fighting? She doesn't have a problem with fighting. She prefers not to kill unless she absolutely has to, so she typically shoots to incapacitate or restrain.

32) What kind of habits do they have on missions? What is their reason for going on them? What do they intend to use their points for? Well, right now she's taking them in an effort to avoid everyone she knows >.> Otherwise, she'd probably just take them as a challenge, as training, maybe as an excuse to get outside the town limits for a few days if the monotony gets to her. She hasn't thought of anything to spend her points on yet.

33) How long have they been in Luceti? Has that length of time impacted them in any way?: She's only been here since March, so there's still some adjusting to be made. Plus she arrived and immediately got tossed on a Draft, so that was fun. It's more of an adjustment in daily living, to be honest, when she's used to constant missions and living life in busy cities. Lots of movement to this is quite a culture shock.

34) How do they unwind and get back to normal after a brutal experiment, event, or draft? Uhhh. Honestly she kind of plays that by ear. She probably goes and shoots things if there's aggression to be worked out, rather than taking that out on her friends. Otherwise a hot shower and loads of sleep. Maybe some video games or a movie. Something to get her mind off it.

35) What is their worst experience from an experiment or kidnapping? Were there any that they actually liked? DOES THIS SHARD THING COUNT? Lmao she hasn't really been there long enough to have had a worst experience yet. TERRACE was an eye-opener, she'd never fought in something with that intensive a scale before. Having her brain messed with and thinking she had family here only to wake up and find it had all been fake was pretty harsh on her too.
