THE DAILY LIFE MEME
GREETINGS LUCETIANS. Long ago, on a distant server, Kyio once unleashed a pleasant meme. But it’s been forever since we did it again.
Now it’s back again! With even MORE questions to tease your brains! This is your chance to show everyone how much thought you put into your roleplay and more importantly, offer a glimpse into your character’s Luceti life. Why does this matter? Well, it’s a handy way of helping other people play off you and consequently, make more interesting CR. So be a cool guy and try and fill it out!

2) Weight:I'm abysmal at estimating this so I'm not going to bother. Even if he has a canon one it'll have changed a lot by now3) Eye color/Hair Color: Brown and brown, though his eyes are a lighter shade of brown
4) Age: 19 (as of January, though his birthday was yesterday)
5) Physical features: Masaomi is, especially after all the work he put into it in Luceti, significantly more toned and muscular than his icons represent. Also because he's a few years up from canon he also looks somewhat older than the icons imply, probs. As for his style it varies but this is probably a decent indicator.
6) Voice: this is his dub va - he's in the first clip and frankly I love this VA. His voice has some range as 6:40ish shows as well. Honestly, his JP VA (Miyano) is better and in most cases I do differ to him, but since watching a dub is usually easier for me, more and more of the dub's inflections have leaked in in subsequent rewatches.
Plus I can't seem to find a decent clip of Miyano as him on youtube, though he plays so many other characters you might recognize him from something else anyway7) Who do they live with and how are chores divided in their house/apartment?: He lives Shikamaru, Chouji, Linda, and Shikamaru's cat who I keep blanking on the name of. Dusting, sweeping?! No he probably does his own laundry. Before Chouji showed up he cooked but not really any more. His partner supplies some of the mess and damage to the apartment so he does his part to keep it in order.
8) Their favorite (and least favorite, if you want) foods and who does the cooking in their house/apartment?: For cooking see above: Chouji probably has to do by now. Outside of that, his canon favorite is "Eating meals with pretty girls" and his canon least favorite is "Eating meals alone" but I know I came up with some real favorites and least favorites I just cannot remember them.
9) What they do during an average day in Luceti: Until several months ago (around Vaskoth) he has trained constantly. Then for a while, the only thing he did was remedial lessons with Green. And now... well. Masaomi hasn't gotten back into the obsessive grove he used to be in (far less use of the Dome) but he does have two main training regimes: working on precise control things with Linda to try to work around her newfound weaknesses and just some running and free weights for himself. This might change, but all in all it only amounts for ~3 or less hours of his day, usually. Outside of that he's either flirting, chatting up people in the square, or working at the convenience store. He doesn't have a lot of dedicated things to do at the moment.
10) Their general sense of fashion: This to this to just silly things. Some consistent trends are tighter pants usually, he likes hoodies, and he always has some jewelry - one or two clip earrings in his ear, some alternating bracelets or rings, and he always-always-always has this on even if it clashes. He also will very usually have a necklace with a five yen coin at the end of it on.
11) Do they have any hobbies? Did they come up with these hobbies in Luceti, or was it something they always did?: Masaomi's always read, but in Luceti he's read more - usually taking classic literature back to his apartment and becoming way more nerdy about it than he already was. That said, he doesn't advertise that much to anyone. His other hobbies, doing things with his mouse and flirting with girls, are here and home respectively.
12) Has the situation in Luceti changed their view on certain topics/the way they react to different things?: Uh. He's... probably become a small margin less tacitly sexist and he's probably become a little less tacitly heteronormative. Outside of that he's just adapted to a more violent lifestyle than in Ikebukuro, balancing out his thuglife and happy sides more than in canon.
13) Do they have a weapon? If so, do they carry it at all times or just under certain circumstances?: Masaomi has several, but on a normal day the only "weapon" on him is Linda, who is either with him, on him, or in a pokeball the majority of the time. His standard weapons and gear are here.
14) Do they have any pets? Would these pets be at their homes, or do they hang out with the character in question?: Duh
15) Who are their neighbors?: Yeah, his floor is infested with ninja I've gone out of my way to make sure he knows all of. That said, he's also in CH1 so there might be more chances I've missed.
16) Who are their best friends in Luceti? How often do they spend time with them and doing what? Shikamaru, easily. The next closest people to him are Gold and Katara and then it branches down from there. Shikamaru he is with a lot, as they work the same place, live together, and generally get along. Gold and him hang out a fair share as well. Him and Katara, sadly, don't hang out as much and he wishes that were different.
17) On the flip side, is there anyone they actively don’t get along with? How do they interact, and would people know about this? He doesn't get along with Temari, at all, but he's been trying to improve that. He also has an old grudge against Riku, but he's been trying to get over that. Sokka has a grudge against him, so he just avoids him for the most part. He's got a few other people that either bug him or are bugged by him. But yeah.
18) Their favorite areas/stores/hang-out locations?: The Rec Center, the Convenience Store (recently), and the Battle Dome (until relatively recently). Other than those locations and his own apartment/apartment's kitchen, he's generally found in either the square or this one valley in the mountains. The beach is cool too but I can't say he's there regularly.
19) Do they belong to any clubs or organizations? Which ones? Do they go regularly, or just occasionally?20) Wing color and how do they deal with their wings?: Florescent pink. He usually wears layers - usually he's got a tank top or T-shirt with a jacket or hoodie over it, the later piece of clothing covering them generally. it's only really when he's working out they're blatantly exposed. That said, he has gotten more open with wearing just T-shirts in the last year, so this isn't as much a rule as before.
21) Did they change or grow in any way physically since coming to Luceti?: Well he no longer dyes his hair (reflected in his icons), got a bit taller, a big older, and a bit more muscular. He's also got one or three more scars, but they are usually covered.
22) What do they miss the most from home?: The city itself, really. The whole vibe of being one in several million and the buzz of lights and stuff to do.
23) What does their handwriting look like? Do they write the way they talk, or is there a clear difference between the two?: It's cleaner than you would expect and the main difference is in inflection and little noises - Masaomi makes a lot of non-word sounds when he speaks which aren't reflected in a written response.
24) Is the way they act in person different from the way they act over the journal system?: The biggest difference is that he you can't see how he's moving as well in the journals. In person, Masaomi is very theatrical, often ignoring personal space or using the scenery around him as "stages" to put on a little show in the midst of conversations.
25) Did they gain/lose any personal goals during their stay in Luceti?: Not... really. Sort of. His best friends from home and (ex)girlfriend both aren't here.
26) Is Luceti a technological upgrade, or downgrade for them? Have they adapted to these changes well?: Relatively equivalent though obviously the lac of vehicles and some other city facets is a small downgrade.
27) FOR STUDENTS: What is their favorite class? What is their least favorite class? What about their general behavior in school?:28) FOR DRINKERS: What is their favorite drink? What is their least favorite drink? Do they prefer Good Spirits or Cloud Nine? What's their attitude about and while drinking?:29) Do they have any special talents? If so, what are they?: He's very good at balance and very acrobatic. The result is that he can be regularly seen walking on rails as if they were a tightrope with minimal problems.
30) Have they learned any new skills or abilities in Luceti? If so, what are they? Why and how? See here. He's learned some about chakra and even built up his own store. Thus far, all he can do is walk on trees and water (to various success on both) and a very, very limited substitution. He's also learned more about putting objects in scrolls or the like, but that's not something he excels in, to his annoyance. He's also learned more and more about pokemon and other fighting styles. Outside of that, he got a bit better at cooking.
31) What kind of habits do they have on drafts? Are they willing to kill or do they prefer to avoid fighting? Willing to kill, though over time he's gotten progressive more aware it's killing. He knows he's not the strongest or best suited to taking out waves of enemies, so he'd prefer to be in a group doing specific hunting (key targets, shifters, rescuing people, etc) but when he isn't he just picks his targets and goes at it. He's lead small groups of people from other drafts at times too.
32) What kind of habits do they have on missions? What is their reason for going on them? What do they intend to use their points for? Missions are an ample distraction that nets him rewards and makes him feel like he's doing something. He's used points for a lot of things in the past, but he's not sure right now. He's social, probably to a fault, on missions with people from other barriers and even malnosso people.
33) How long have they been in Luceti? Has that length of time impacted them in any way?: Almost three years. And well, a lot. He's learned a fair share of spoilers for things beyond his canon point which have made him various stages of unsure and not sure he should want to go home. He's fancied himself getting stronger better in Luceti, which plays into all the rest of these replies.
34) How do they unwind and get back to normal after a brutal experiment, event, or draft? Annoy his friends more. That's his big primary thing to do. Unless it was really bad, in which case he isolates himself for a while and then does that. He has had a few drinks and even got swasted once or twice, but because he's in no way regular is why I crossed out the above.
35) What is their worst experience from an experiment or kidnapping? Were there any that they actually liked? Wo...rst. Um. Hm. The best and worst are probably the same thing: the AU incident following the trip home. On one had he had a life he enjoyed a lot. And an unforgettable One Day at home. On the other, he had a life he can never have and had to cosign AU Katara to her "death." So. Yeah.

Haruhi Suzumiya
2) Weight:3) Eye color/Hair Color: Brown and brown, again, though again her eyes are a bright brown.
4) Age: 20 (going on 21 in August), and she actually looks it (sort of) despite her petiteness. Her icons are my enemy.
5) Physical features: Her skin's surprisingly fair despite everything and her hair is somewhat longer than the icons imply, aside from her hair - a little more than shoulder length at this point. she also sometimes switches out her ribbons for hairbands or the like.
6) Voice: Wendee Lee or Aya Hirano, both of which are famous enough I don't feel like linking!!! ...Okay that's a lie. Hirano and Lee - both of which have their strengths and given she's older, she probably is a bit less shrill. I generally keep Lee in mind more, but Hirano does have better inflections here and there.
Also admire the animation in the movie for the second clip, do it.7) Who do they live with and how are chores divided in their house/apartment?: House 10, where she lives with Rhyme, Beat, Sekai (the rooster), and Pogo (the fish). The house is feeling just a bit too big now that Shiki is gone. Haruhi does tidy up that, but really she delegates most of the chores which aren't cooking to other people. This also applies to the Brigade HQ.
8) Their favorite (and least favorite, if you want) foods and who does the cooking in their house/apartment?: AGAIN I SWEAR I HAD THIS FIGURED OUT AT ONE POINT BUT I SINCE FORGOT. But variety is the main spice here. Haruhi changes what she makes more or less by the day. And she does all the cooking for House 10 unless it's otherwise stated. It's just how it's always been since she realized Shiki wasn't that great.
9) What they do during an average day in Luceti: The majority of her day is spent at the SOS-Brigade's HQ, either in the meeting, at the front desk, or just sitting in the lobby. She also goes to the library to study her magic, back home to cook dinner, and in the square if she's bored. She goes out and explores or looks for interesting people or surfs the journal as needed too. In the mornings, before breakfast (because girl gets up early) she goes on a run.
10) Their general sense of fashion: Traditionally it's been stylish-cute (albeit on a budget) but in Luceti it's gotten to where she's been trying lately to dress to look older and more refined. Still stylish cute, but trying to look increasingly dignified as well.
11) Do they have any hobbies? Did they come up with these hobbies in Luceti, or was it something they always did?: Whatever sounds fun. Haruhi is talented at almost everything she tries, but often gets bored with things just as fast. So her "hobbies" vary wildly as a result.
12) Has the situation in Luceti changed their view on certain topics/the way they react to different things?: She wants to stay in Luceti long enough to see it through - that is, to have the whole "people keep coming here" thing resolved, which she is confident they'll resolve in a matter of years here, at most. She's also just matured and gotten nicer, given how long it's been. OH and how I forgot something important: she has grown to like violence as a solution way, way, way less. For a while she held something against soldiers as a whole, but now she just prides herself on not fighting personally.
13) Do they have a weapon? If so, do they carry it at all times or just under certain circumstances?: No. Well, sort of. She carries mace and I'd like to say a taser but I forget if that ever came up. But she's also a stated non-combatant.
14) Do they have any pets? Would these pets be at their homes, or do they hang out with the character in question?: Sekai the rooster is a Jersey Giant rooster, so he's the size of a average size turkey now he's full grown. She sometimes walks with him. Pogo is a fish so obviously he's not around with her generally.
15) Who are their neighbors?: The Pokemon people in House 11 (who she's really more aware of than knows personally) and Kain/Cecil in House 9. Again, more aware of than knows.
16) Who are their best friends in Luceti? How often do they spend time with them and doing what? Shiki was her singular best friend in Luceti but she went home. Which leaves Kyon (who she sees daily somehow or another through the Brigade), Leon (same), and Winry (who she sees in passing daily - or did before she quit the Smithy. But she does have a scheduled day with her every Sunday which usually holds)
17) On the flip side, is there anyone they actively don’t get along with? How do they interact, and would people know about this? BUFFY SUMMERS. JOSHUA. ...Probably some other people, she's very argumentative. But those two stand out. She just bitches them out and/or doesn't want to talk with them.
18) Their favorite areas/stores/hang-out locations?: The Brigade HQ, duh. Outside of that, the roof of House 10 and the cherry tree hill which has that little shrine they made for Miyabi and the trees Ammy grew.
19) Do they belong to any clubs or organizations? Which ones? Do they go regularly, or just occasionally? Duh. And daily.
20) Wing color and how do they deal with their wings?: bright reflective-ish yellow, so when they are exposed (which they almost always are) it seems to make her glow in direct sunlight. She just makes holes in clothes or, more usually, had Shiki make custom clothes for it.
21) Did they change or grow in any way physically since coming to Luceti?: She did not get tall per se, but she has filled out more and looks a bit less babyfaced as she aged.
22) What do they miss the most from home?: Th rest of the SOS-Brigade, now that Kyon is here and has been staying. Yuki, Mikuru, Itsuki. Also her family quite a bit, but she's gotten used to missing her parents, if that makes sense.
23) What does their handwriting look like? Do they write the way they talk, or is there a clear difference between the two?: Neat. Less severe sounding because there's no tone. But there's not a huge different aside from inflection, as usual.
24) Is the way they act in person different from the way they act over the journal system?: No, no difference.
25) Did they gain/lose any personal goals during their stay in Luceti?: Not necessarily goals, but it did change her worldview some. Earth was something that was boring and the abnormal had to be sought out. Luceti had the abnormal all around it so much it became normal. so you had to fight to keep the world interesting and new.
26) Is Luceti a technological upgrade, or downgrade for them? Have they adapted to these changes well?: It used to be a downgrade when she first showed up. Now it's only a slight downgrade but most's equivalent. They do know how to deal with less now, of course, but are glad to have the more.

31) What kind of habits do they have on drafts? Are they willing to kill or do they prefer to avoid fighting? Haruhi is a Stated Non Combatant, and has pride in the fact she doesn't go around killing people. She has done different roles in different drafts: helping out civilians or being a chef or all sorts of things like that. She finds value in these roles.
32) What kind of habits do they have on missions? What is their reason for going on them? What do they intend to use their points for? She's gone on many missions to see more of the world and to meet more people from other enclosures. She tends to talk with people from other enclosures a lot as a result, but mostly treats it like she would a job or schoolwork, doing it with more diligence and less complaining than people who don't know her well would think she can muster.
33) How long have they been in Luceti? Has that length of time impacted them in any way?: Over four years and tremendously. She's adapted to it as a home which isn't quite home and made lots of friends here she would never want to part from. She's found and lost love a few times and the same with friends and members of her Brigade. As such, she wants closure on Luceti more than anything at this point. Going hoe unceremoniously to possibly come back is one of her big fears. She wants to end it on her terms.
34) How do they unwind and get back to normal after a brutal experiment, event, or draft? Retreat and brood by herself until she figures things out enough to want to talk with other people. If she just sulks or tries to learn new skills depends on the event. The length of time also depends.
35) What is their worst experience from an experiment or kidnapping? Were there any that they actually liked? Worst is a toss up of one of her Valentines (mostly the fallout) or one particularly awful kidnapping she had years ago. Both of those are not things she dwells on though, so the worst she actually focuses on is when the Teases made Usagi explore or when Taichi burned to death. Other than that, there are actually a lot she's enjoyed. I'm noting here that she doesn't drink - she's had drinks a small handful of times, usually from experiments.
36) Anything else you want to note?: Nah I think I'm good.

5) Physical features: HE HAS A TAIL. A fluffy demon tail I go out of my way to mention because not all my icons show it. He also has lightly pointed fangs and lightly pointed ears.

7) Who do they live with and how are chores divided in their house/apartment?: House 15 with Shiemi and... Shiemi. Well her and Skarmy, Izumo's fox
which I need to figure out the name ofand Midori the turtle. Plus a whole forest of plants. Izumo used to live there too. Anyway, he obviously cooks, but I imagine every other cleaning up used to be directed by Yukio and Izumo at different times. At this point I imagine Shiemi keeps up her plants which translates into some cleaning and then they just sort of do it as they can't stand it? idk.8) Their favorite (and least favorite, if you want) foods and who does the cooking in their house/apartment?: His favorite food I actually know! It's Sukiyaki. And he obviously cooks. Duh.
9) What they do during an average day in Luceti: Well he is subject to Training with Wolverine, and then he also works at Seventh Heaven when he can logically fit it in, which is usually "all afternoon," then go home and make dinner and eat it with his house, and then "a few more hours in the night." Despite this, he's been thinking about school... for next year. Other than those things, he just sort of hangs out, but both of those are big commitments in and of themselves.
10) Their general sense of fashion: Casual punk-ish. Nothing too hardcore by any stretch of the imagination, but a lot of T shirts, a lot of jeans and shorts. His icons actually reflect a few icons. He wears an apron while cooking.
11) Do they have any hobbies? Did they come up with these hobbies in Luceti, or was it something they always did?: Cooking is his one productive skill. But outside of that his hobbies include reading manga, a few video games (so the Rec Center in Luceti), and "spacing out" - which is a canon thing for him. Just sort of lurking and looking at nothing.
12) Has the situation in Luceti changed their view on certain topics/the way they react to different things?: Not... really. He's learned a lot more things, yes, but he's not exactly dramatically changed any viewpoints.
13) Do they have a weapon? If so, do they carry it at all times or just under certain circumstances?: Yes. A sword called Kurikara which he (almost) always has on him, due to it's twofold importance to him.
14) Do they have any pets? Would these pets be at their homes, or do they hang out with the character in question?: Ye...es? He personally has a turtle he named Midori which he inherited from someone who went home a long time ago. He also has sort of inherited Izumo's fox and as said before he lives with Shiemi's Skarmy.
15) Who are their neighbors?: Their next door neighbors are the X-Men house (House 16) and across the street there's Beast/Belle (House 17) and Sheena/Suki (House 18) - he has a lot of CR in various forms with House 16, but I'm ashamed to say he barely knows House 17 or 18
16) Who are their best friends in Luceti? How often do they spend time with them and doing what? Shiemi's his best-best friend, but outside of her, well... he's good friends with Caius, Cloche, and he used to be good friends with Precis before she vanished. As a result of that he's gotten more in with Pilouette.
17) On the flip side, is there anyone they actively don’t get along with? How do they interact, and would people know about this? Um, hum. Well, he got in an argument with Saten which has never been resolved. Outside of that, not... really that I recall.
18) Their favorite areas/stores/hang-out locations?: Seventh Heaven, obviously. But outside of that, he's in the grocery a lot, as well as the Rec Center now and again, and his own house.
19) Do they belong to any clubs or organizations? Which ones? Do they go regularly, or just occasionally? He works at Seventh Heaven! and being trained by Logan he's sort of an X-trainee.
20) Wing color and how do they deal with their wings?: Blue and... not really. He doesn't do anything special, not really. He just cuts out holes for them.
21) Did they change or grow in any way physically since coming to Luceti?: I actually canon updated him to avoid this because I don't want to commit for an ongoing canon. (unsure)
22) What do they miss the most from home?: EVERYTHING. Everything. All sorts of things, honestly. He misses home constantly, but his twin brother probably tops the list.
23) What does their handwriting look like? Do they write the way they talk, or is there a clear difference between the two?: Sloppy. Sloppy and lazy, which means his voice is totally different in writing because he doesn't want to write too much. I usually portray it as all lowercase and having some spelling errors to portray the sloppiness.
24) Is the way they act in person different from the way they act over the journal system?: Other than the writing thing, not all that much, for better or worse.
25) Did they gain/lose any personal goals during their stay in Luceti?: Rofl well he has a lot on his plate at home so he just wants to go home, period.
26) Is Luceti a technological upgrade, or downgrade for them? Have they adapted to these changes well?: Equivalent with some drawbacks, as with the others. ALL OF THEM ARE MODERN EARTH...

29) Do they have any special talents? If so, what are they?: Cooking, like I said. Other than that, he is part-demon and in his full demon form he has a bunch of extra super powers and even out of it he has watered down versions of them.
30) Have they learned any new skills or abilities in Luceti? If so, what are they? Why and how? He's learned to cook a few new things, but other than that it's just adding on to his fighting and survival powers via working with Logan.
31) What kind of habits do they have on drafts? Are they willing to kill or do they prefer to avoid fighting? He will not kill. But he also doesn't want to shy away from the front lines and if it's a cold blood thing he also will prevent other people from killing. He's only been in one draft (Vaskoth) though. This won't change, but we'll see if/when he's in more.
32) What kind of habits do they have on missions? What is their reason for going on them? What do they intend to use their points for?he refuses to go on missions33) How long have they been in Luceti? Has that length of time impacted them in any way?: It's affected him a lot in subtle ways and the ways in which it has have changed over time. Complexes about his powers and strength, complexes about what's going on at home, missing his friends, missing his brother. Making him feel useless because he can't shounen it up here as much. A lot of little things have weighed on him. But ultimately, his core hasn't changed at all despite being here over a year at this point.
34) How do they unwind and get back to normal after a brutal experiment, event, or draft? Some combination of going to relieve stress by doing some fighting/sparring or just talking it out with someone. He's actually sort of normal unless it's something really terrible.
35) What is their worst experience from an experiment or kidnapping? Were there any that they actually liked? He wears his heart on his sleeve - a lot of things have hit him hard. Precis dying in that one mission and Vaskoth as a whole were probably the worst. and he doesn't like the indignity of the experiments period, so I don't think he'd admit to liking much of any.
36) Anything else you want to note?: House 15 has a swimming pool between it and House 16.
