The Daily Life Meme

THE DAILY LIFE MEME

GREETINGS LUCETIANS. Long ago, on a distant server, Kyio once unleashed a pleasant meme. But it’s been forever since we did it again.

Now it’s back again! With even MORE questions to tease your brains! This is your chance to show everyone how much thought you put into your roleplay and more importantly, offer a glimpse into your character’s Luceti life. Why does this matter? Well, it’s a handy way of helping other people play off you and consequently, make more interesting CR. So be a cool guy and try and fill it out!

Feel free to respond to each other's tags with IC or OOC responses, questions, or what have you. Have fun!

19) Do they belong to any clubs or organizations? Which ones? Do they go regularly, or just occasionally?
Tear is actually a member of Brave Vesperia! She's dedicated to it and goes to meetings. She occasionally helps out in organizing celebratory events.

20) Wing color and how do they deal with their wings?:
Her wings are red-violet, just like the Qliphoth, and while she has modified some clothing to accommodate them they are covered for the most part, especially knowing that they can be used as a weakness and how sensitive they can be. She thinks they're cute though and leaves them out for that reason alone sometimes...

21) Did they change or grow in any way physically since coming to Luceti?:
There have been some changes, she has grown another two centimeters and her face has continued to mature more while the growth of the rest of her body has slowed. Beyond that there is little else that will continue to mature beyond the face, and her hair has continued to grow and is trimmed every once in a while.

22) What do they miss the most from home?:
Most of all, she misses the people of home – the rest of her comrades, and she still longs to go back and finish what they started knowing that the goal is so close. She also misses her garden and its significance to her every once in a while, having been unable to find an equivalent in Luceti, though that's changing because she's working on creating one. She also misses having a steady and constant goal, because she has always had that in her life whether it be to someday help Van by being by his side or stopping him in current day. In Luceti, she doesn't quite have that and it leaves her feeling confused, though that's also fixing itself a little with the friendships she has formed.

23) What does their handwriting look like? Do they write the way they talk, or is there a clear difference between the two?:
Her writing style is pretty much the same as her manner of speaking, meaning that it's polite, clear and to the point. Her handwriting is sharp and crisp, almost qualifying as a script that reflects well on the fonic alphabet. Any personal letters, however, are still more prone to sounding more like reports than anything.

24) Is the way they act in person different from the way they act over the journal system?:
There are almost no differences, barring the fact that in-person it would be that much easier to determine her expression, hesitation and body language, given it's not as easy to escape that when in someone else's presence.

25) Did they gain/lose any personal goals during their stay in Luceti?:
Her primary goal is still to one day return to Auldrant so she may help to put an end to Van's plans, though she realizes full well that for the time being that goal is out of her hands and all she can do about it is be patient and help in retrieving information about the world and enclosure. That is her goal, though there is little else for her that doesn't involve tutoring or keeping up her strength to protect others, and helping out whenever she can. With the influence of other CR, however, she may start to consider more personal goals for herself, whatever those goals may be. For now, she remains torn and at times even frustrated. And now, she has her goal of seeing where her relationship with Frey goes.

26) Is Luceti a technological upgrade, or downgrade for them? Have they adapted to these changes well?:
In a sense it is both. While the technology Luceti has is the same as those of the Outer Lands, Tear was raised in Yulia City, which still functions on Dawn Age technology. The problem with this, however, is that no one knows how to reproduce the technology and the best they can do is minor repairs. It was barely any trouble for her to adjust, though.

27) FOR STUDENTS: What is their favorite class? What is their least favorite class? What about their general behavior in school?: Nope.

28) FOR DRINKERS: What is their favorite drink? What is their least favorite drink? Do they prefer Good Spirits or Cloud Nine? What's their attitude about and while drinking?:
Tear has yet to try alcohol and doesn't plan to anytime soon, so if anyone wants to try to convince her otherwise.

29) Do they have any special talents? If so, what are they?:
Tear is one of the last two descendants of Yulia Jue, who in her time was considered a living goddess with worship and reverence of her continues in modern day. This means she can effectively employ sound as a powerful weapon using the Fonic Hymns, which are the covenant to the equivalent of Auldrant's principal deity, Lorelei. Singing these hymns will draw forth Lorelei to help protect Yulia and her descendants and allow them to use his power, as he promised her when the covenant was made. She also happens to be a very good baker and is the second-best cook in the party, after Anise.

30) Have they learned any new skills or abilities in Luceti? If so, what are they? Why and how?
She has successfully learned to use Nala's healing and has taken to combining that to bolster her own healing artes. She also has Sona almost down, and has been communicating with Hyt. Those are also being combined with her artes and sometimes, though she won't admit to it unless caught, she has taken to using them a little for solely pretty effects.

31) What kind of habits do they have on drafts? Are they willing to kill or do they prefer to avoid fighting?
Tear treats drafts the same way she treated battle in Auldrant, in that she goes in headfirst when necessary to protect others and offers herself as a supportive force, keeping everyone up to their health and protecting them, taking the role of close-range if necessary. Her primary goal is always to protect and save the lives of her companions. She doesn't hesitate to kill, though if it can avoided she goes for that route, and the same goes for fighting.

32) What kind of habits do they have on missions? What is their reason for going on them? What do they intend to use their points for?
When it comes to missions she fully respects and assesses the talents of her comrades, offering her input and otherwise she follows through with any orders and instructions. Though she does tend to be more vigilant and does her best to take note of anything that might be unusual, she doesn't bring it up much.

33) How long have they been in Luceti? Has that length of time impacted them in any way?:
She has been in Luceti since November 2010, so about two years and seven months right now. Though it's not really noticeable, the stay has affected her in subtle ways that would take quite a while to list here, but the gist of it is that she's starting to learn to put herself first, and is still very much dedicated to helping others.

34) How do they unwind and get back to normal after a brutal experiment, event, or draft?
She starts first by checking up on her friends, then jots it all down in a personal journal she has kept. Keeping records of things that have happened is important to her, and they have helped her out in previous experiments, plus with the knowledge that she has been in Luceti before and has no recollection of it, writing it all down provides a sense of security and helps her to deal with what happened more easily.

35) What is their worst experience from an experiment or kidnapping? Were there any that they actually liked?
The mallynap effect where she was AU'd into Luceti Valley again, because not only did she return to her friends after a long absence injured, but she really hurt them by not remembering them properly, which was especially true for Luke since he was a complete stranger to her, and he was left with the loneliness of that. Another problem that resulted from this was that Van had arrived in the enclosure at the time, so she was unable to deal and handle him properly until almost a month afterward. However... the original Luceti Valley is one she doesn't necessarily regret. It gave her the experience of being a mother, wife, older sister and gave her the experience of having living parents. While she does have reservations and is uncomfortable with talking about it most of the time, she does look back to it with some fondness because it gave her a taste of things she didn't know she wanted, and she has regained some of that since then.

36) Anything else you want to note?:
An only slightly outdated character survey of doom, I believe! Also if anything here matches up with your characters and you'd like to plot something, feel free to hit me up.
