THE DAILY LIFE MEME
GREETINGS LUCETIANS. Long ago, on a distant server, Kyio once unleashed a pleasant meme. But it’s been forever since we did it again.
Now it’s back again! With even MORE questions to tease your brains! This is your chance to show everyone how much thought you put into your roleplay and more importantly, offer a glimpse into your character’s Luceti life. Why does this matter? Well, it’s a handy way of helping other people play off you and consequently, make more interesting CR. So be a cool guy and try and fill it out!

Green/Brunette

Her hair never grows since it was cut and lost its magic powers.

”And it’s also my birthday...just so you know.”
7) Who do they live with and how are chores divided in their house/apartment?:
Rapunzel lives by her lonesome in Community House 7, Room 4. As such, she does all the chores, but that’s alright - she enjoys them! It’s been a regular part of her morning routine her entire life, after all.
8) Their favorite (and least favorite, if you want) foods and who does the cooking in their house/apartment?:
Rapunzel loves to cook and bake, so she does all her own cooking now that she has figured out the mysterious oven. She’ll eat just about anything, but she definitely prefers food that tastes fresh: salads, pastas, breads, et cetera. There’s nothing she particularly dislikes, either.
9) What they do during an average day in Luceti:
An average day can include just about anything for Rapunzel. She still performs her usual morning line-up bright and early, cleaning and getting ready for the day. She hits the bakery and starts putting out pastries and rolls for early morning patrons. She stays there through the early part of the afternoon, after which she will do any number of things: training with Rock Lee, cooking in the CH7 first floor kitchen, painting, reading in the library, visiting various shops, watching the sunset, or enjoying any of her other hobbies.
10) Their general sense of fashion:
Rapunzel tends to stick to dresses, since that’s what she’s used to, but they’re lightweight and breathable, often with knee-length hems and short sleeves (except for in winter, of course). In summer, she can also be found in shorts occasionally, or in winter, leggings with her skirts. She tends to wear bright colors.
11) Do they have any hobbies? Did they come up with these hobbies in Luceti, or was it something they always did?:
Rapunzel has MANY hobbies, including (but not limited to): cooking, painting, baking, ceramics, singing, reading, knitting, playing guitar, cleaning, candle-making, jamming, jigsaw puzzles, dancing, HONESTLY the list goes on and on. This girl has no shortage of interests, and she loves to keep herself busy.
12) Has the situation in Luceti changed their view on certain topics/the way they react to different things?:
Most notably, Luceti has changed the way Rapunzel views her powers - the very gift she lived in a tower for eighteen years to protect. Rapunzel has grown to be very open with whom she shares that information with, whereas when she first showed up she tended to keep it to herself. Now, she wants to use it to help people. Also, Rapunzel has begun to think about her role as a princess, thanks to meeting other royal types in Luceti. She had literally no exposure to the role before showing up in the enclosure, but she’s started to think about what sort of person people need their princess to be.
13) Do they have a weapon? If so, do they carry it at all times or just under certain circumstances?:
Previously, her “weapon” was usual her hair, but now that it’s been cut, Rapunzel’s only other weapon - loosely defined - is a frying pan. She doesn’t carry it with her, but she did use one on the draft and whenever she feels the need to be threatening.
14) Do they have any pets? Would these pets be at their homes, or do they hang out with the character in question?:
Yes! Pascal, a chameleon who is very encouraging and protective of Rapunzel. Pascal is often hanging out with Rapunzel, usually riding on her shoulder or on the crown of her head.
15) Who are their neighbors?:
All of Community House 7! On her floor, there is Rue and Nathan Drake.
16) Who are their best friends in Luceti? How often do they spend time with them and doing what?
Basically EVERYONE. Rapunzel loves to make friends out of everyone she meets. Her most important people include Ikki, Raven, Asch, Luke, Beast, Belle, Rock Lee, Katniss, Loki and Aang.
17) On the flip side, is there anyone they actively don’t get along with? How do they interact, and would people know about this?
Not really, though there are some that Rapunzel has friction with, including Isaac and Jack Horner. The former Rapunzel is DETERMINED to make into a friend, though.
18) Their favorite areas/stores/hang-out locations?:
The bakery, obviously. Even when Rapunzel is “on the clock” she will often step out from behind the counter to take a break with whoever wants to chat. Besides the bakery, she frequents the flower shop and the library, and she often spends lengthy amounts of time in the latter. The girl loves to read. And we can’t forget Cherry Blossom Hill, where Rapunzel frequently stops in the evenings to watch the sunset and read, paint, or just think.
19) Do they belong to any clubs or organizations? Which ones? Do they go regularly, or just occasionally?
The art club, of course! Rapunzel is co-president of the art club with Ikki, and obviously, she attends every meeting unless she is deathly ill. The club is extremely important to her, both as a means of exploring artistic expression and a way for people to meet and make friends.
20) Wing color and how do they deal with their wings?:
Rapunzel’s wings are pastel blue. She’s actually pretty fond of them, especially now that her hair isn’t long enough that it’s constantly getting tangled in them. She loves talking about wings and asking people what color theirs are. She wears clothing with wing slits to show them off.
21) Did they change or grow in any way physically since coming to Luceti?:
Hair length is the most obvious. When Rapunzel first arrived in Luceti, she had her long, golden blonde hair, but it was cut on the most recent draft, about two months ago. She’s slowly getting used to living with such short hair, but she does miss her long locks. It was so versatile! And it makes using her magic much more difficult.
22) What do they miss the most from home?:
Her newly-found parents and Eugene. She particularly misses them because she hasn’t known any of them all that long at home, but they’ve become incredibly important to her in that short amount of time. She would give almost anything to see any of them again.
23) What does their handwriting look like? Do they write the way they talk, or is there a clear difference between the two?:
Curvy, clean cursive. Rapunzel has that stereotypical princess handwriting. She writes in the same way that she speaks.
24) Is the way they act in person different from the way they act over the journal system?:
Nope. She is every bit as enthusiastic and bubbly on the journal as she is in person.
25) Did they gain/lose any personal goals during their stay in Luceti?:
Well, Rapunzel found out she is supposed to be a princess, a position which she hasn’t been able to occupy at all. When she returns home, she hopes she can keep her memories, because she believes her experiences in Luceti will help her be a better princess back home.
26) Is Luceti a technological upgrade, or downgrade for them? Have they adapted to these changes well?:
Major upgrade - her kingdom is not technologically advanced at all. She’s made some strides in understanding modern kitchen appliances, but that’s about it.
27) FOR STUDENTS: What is their favorite class? What is their least favorite class? What about their general behavior in school?:28) FOR DRINKERS: What is their favorite drink? What is their least favorite drink? Do they prefer Good Spirits or Cloud Nine? What's their attitude about and while drinking?:
One time Rapunzel drank spiked punch. That’s all!
29) Do they have any special talents? If so, what are they?:
Rapunzel’s talents coincide with her hobbies. She’s a wonderful painter, singer, dancer, crafter, etc. She also has the amazing talent of making friends out of people who don’t want to be made friends out of.
30) Have they learned any new skills or abilities in Luceti? If so, what are they? Why and how?
She’s learned a bit of combat training here and there, particularly from Rock Lee and Chun-Li back when she was around. She’s picked up a few new artistic hobbies that she didn’t know existed before, like origami. And as mentioned above, she’s learned how to use some modern kitchen technology.
31) What kind of habits do they have on drafts? Are they willing to kill or do they prefer to avoid fighting?
Rapunzel has only been on one draft, and she played the role of a healer, avoiding combat if it all possible. Rapunzel wouldn’t hurt a fly; she can’t imagine taking another’s life. She hated the experience, but she was glad she was at least able to do something by healing wounded fighters.
32) What kind of habits do they have on missions? What is their reason for going on them? What do they intend to use their points for?
Rapunzel has not been on a mission, and unless she finds something she needs the points for, it will probably stay that way.
33) How long have they been in Luceti? Has that length of time impacted them in any way?:
A year and four months. Rapunzel has done a lot of growing and maturing in those months, as she’s watched people she loves die and struggle and go home. It’s been difficult for her, especially lately, but she wouldn’t trade her experiences for anything.
34) How do they unwind and get back to normal after a brutal experiment, event, or draft?
BAKING THERAPY. Also ART THERAPY. Rapunzel will aggressively bake and create when she needs an outlet. Depending on the severity, she may also talk to someone to help work out her feelings.
35) What is their worst experience from an experiment or kidnapping? Were there any that they actually liked?
Getting her hair cut on the draft (and the entire draft experience) was definitely the most traumatizing thing that has happened to Rapunzel in Luceti. She hasn’t had anything too terrible happen to her during an experiment, however, and she’s never been kidnapped. She’s fared pretty well in that regard.
36) Anything else you want to note?:
I don’t have her do it often enough, but she DOES spontaneously break out into song every now and again. Questions?
