Since he still doesn't know the guy that well, all he knows is that he did something with Tear thanks to the paopu fruit and said so over the journals, even after apologizing for it. The fact that the apology was genuine was good! He appreciates that about him!

But then he had to go and assume that Luke was dating Tear.

In short, ooooooh he does not like Frey and he's quite sure he isn't a good match for Tear and hopes he leaves her alone. But I'm sure if he talks to him more, he'd start to get over that a little. Luke is just protective of Tear, both from some lingering feelings as well as just the fact that Tear is very special to him. Like a sister/best friend, really. No guy is really going to be good enough in his eyes, as a result.

He is keeping an eye on you. ಠ_ಠ

And sob that dating thing was actually something Selphie planted in his brain, poor kid is just too worried about upsetting people over he just ends up making things worse.

I do hope they can interact in the future more! Frey will be obviously very awkward because now he's got three people, luke included, who are quite ready to beat him black and blue if he so much as looks at her wrong, but hey since when have I ever been bothered by awkward~

good thing Luke doesn't know about the awkward hair braiding during that last mission...
