But seriously? Luke actually likes Mieu, gosh. The little guy was there for him at his worst moments, from Akzeriuth even to his recent time at the manor. He's the only character who has not abandoned him, and it's a fact that Luke is very well aware of.

Mieu is kind of annoying, sure. Actually, really annoying. His voice has driven Luke up the wall since day one, and the "cute" way he acts can make him go from happy to irritated in two seconds flat. But Mieu wouldn't be Mieu without it. Just like how Luke wouldn't be Luke without kicking the little guy around a bit, and hey, Mieu seems to like it, so why not? It's kind of a game for them at this point, whereas Luke with long hair just plain did it because he found Mieu obnoxious.

But yes. Mieu is considered a good friend of his. He'd never admit it because Mieu is so obnoxious, but it's the truth. And he does kind of feel bad for treating him so horribly, and so, while he's still a little rough with Mieu, he does try to be nicer. Not only to be a better friend, but also to sort of make up for his behavior.

But really, Luke is ridiculously happy to have Guy around. Even with all of his friends here, it's still very lonely sometimes, knowing that he was back home. But now he's here, and Luke feels like this... little hole in his heart has been filled up again. It's kind of strange, in a pleasant way. Guy's one of the few that Luke is completely comfortable around, to the point where draping all over him for no good reason isn't a big deal whatsoever, and he can pretty much tell him anything that's on his mind.

The fact that his presence drove Asch away does make him a little upset, yes, and he hopes every day that Guy will someday let go of his grudge and come to accept Asch for who he is. But Luke knows that day is pretty far away, so in the meantime he'll just do what he can do help that along, in his own little way. He knows it must be hard, so he won't rush it.

Guy is just one of those very, very few people that Luke can actually let go and be completely himself around. And that's saying a lot, considering how much he holds back other aspects of his personality with other people. Guy is like his bff, parents and sibling all rolled into one, and there aren't a lot of people like that even for most other people. And he knows that, no matter what, Guy will always be at his side. For someone who's grown to have some slight abandonment issues, that surety means a lot.

Since he still doesn't know the guy that well, all he knows is that he did something with Tear thanks to the paopu fruit and said so over the journals, even after apologizing for it. The fact that the apology was genuine was good! He appreciates that about him!

But then he had to go and assume that Luke was dating Tear.

In short, ooooooh he does not like Frey and he's quite sure he isn't a good match for Tear and hopes he leaves her alone. But I'm sure if he talks to him more, he'd start to get over that a little. Luke is just protective of Tear, both from some lingering feelings as well as just the fact that Tear is very special to him. Like a sister/best friend, really. No guy is really going to be good enough in his eyes, as a result.

He is keeping an eye on you. ಠ_ಠ

Hi Luke hi!

Luke still isn't quite sure what to make of Selphie! He hasn't talked to her often, and last time he did she... kind of seemed to be pushing Tear into confessing to feelings that she totally didn't have, and that rubbed Luke the wrong way. But she's also energetic and seems to look out for her friends, though she can be serious when it calls for it. Sometimes she can just be a bit... too energetic. Luke feels like he can't keep up at times. Still, sometimes that's what Luceti needs.

Buuut there is that whole Tear thing, and the fact that he had to step in to get her to stop. He and Frey both, actually. He's a little annoyed about that, but I'm pretty sure if they talk again, he'll forget about it. They just have to talk again, is all. |Da And be a little closer as friends! At this point, he's still not really sure what to think of her, what with her boundless energy and all. She kind of reminds him of Anise, and he isn't sure if he likes that reminder or not.

BEFORE the AU experiment, Luke felt very close to Kairi, almost like one would to a sibling. There was also a tiny bit of attraction added to that, what with Kairi looking like Xion save for the hair color. He couldn't really help it as a result; if she was upset or in trouble, he'd be there to help her. Of course, he also grew fond of her as someone separate from Xion. Kairi's Kairi, just like how Luke is Luke and Asch is Asch and all that business. She's strong and determined, and her heart is very strong, and she has a mothering side to her. All those qualities make him admire her a lot. She's also one of the few that he's opened up to as well, and she's among... I think the two or three Lucetians whom he's told about his origins and the reasons why he was born. She might even be counted as a best friend.

AFTER the AU experiment, well... things haven't quite changed, but he does feel a little closer to her. He sees her genuinely as a sibling instead of "kind of like one". Though those memories are fake, and they're more like he read a very imaginative book than anything at this point, they still hold his fondness of her, especially during the week in the village. He might seek her out a little more than he already does, just to talk or train or do other derpy things. BEST SISTER EVER FOREVER.
