THE DAILY LIFE MEME
GREETINGS LUCETIANS. Long ago, on a distant server, Kyio once unleashed a pleasant meme. But then it's been over a year and yeah, we need to do it again. It's sort of like an info survey.
Well it's back, with new questions! And thanks to Dreamwidth's generous comment character count, these might even fit into a single comment! It's a 33 question survey/meme about your characters and their experiences and developments in Luceti. It'll give you a better idea of where your characters are at and let other people get a good sense of what your character is like and up to. It can make for interesting stuff, really.
Feel free to respond to each other's tags with IC or OOC responses, questions, or what have you. Have fun!
Eusine
2) Weight: No idea, but he's light enough to fly with a Jumpluff, so it's a fair bet he doesn't weight that much. He's not a complete shrimp (wow holy crap Eusine you actually have pecs) but he's kind of skinny. That waist.
3) Eye color/Hair Color: Eyes are turquoise blue, hair is light brown, this reply is boring.
4) Age: IMPLYING POKÉSPE GIVES ME ANYTHING TO WORK WITH. Щ(°Д°Щ) the only time-related info we have about him is the fact he's been hunting Suicune for ten years. I just assume he's somewhere around his mid-twenties (but he still looks young as fuck five years later so POKÉSPEEEEEE /SHAKES FIST).
5) Physical features: He has a fabulous case of idiot hair. Also long
girlyeyelashes. Maybe he was born with it. Maybe it's Maybelline- uh, I mean.I also headcanon he has really nice hands because... because he's a magician and I can, haters gonna hate.
6) Voice: DAN GREEN (check around 8:20). Alternatively have his Japanese VA because this line got cut in the dub and it is flawless.
7) Who do they live with and how are chores divided in their house/apartment?: He lives alone in a flat on the top floor of CH1 because he likes heights and it gives him a good vantage point. He hates chores but since there isn't anyone he can trick into doing them in his stead... he has to put on his big boy
suicunepanties and clean after himself. His dislike for chores is only matched by his dislike for having to live in a pile of dirty socks. :V8) Their favorite (and least favorite, if you want) foods and who does the cooking in their house/apartment?: He likes sweet stuff, but doesn't really care for dry and sour flavours. He'll eat pretty much anything though, it's just that he doesn't eat much to start with. Who cares about food? There are Suicune to hunt/books to read/things to jump off of/people to bother.
If drinks count, he thinks moomoo milk is delicious (this is canon) and so is tea (this is not canon but come on look at this dude, if he doesn't drink tea I'm the queen of England). He tends to eat out though because Eusine cooking would be a sure way to set the whole building on fire
DING DING DING FUTURE POST IDEA?9) What they do during an average day in Luceti: Get up, get prepared, jump out of the window... then it's a mix of explore the place, go to the library or
annoytalk to people depending on what strikes his fancy. He usually goes back home pretty late (... and often still through the window) and then reads or play with his massive balls (... I mean his Pokémon, you perverts) until he literally crashes because what is going to bed.10) Their general sense of fashion: Eusine's never worn a t-shirt in his entire life. WHAT IS THIS "CASUAL" THING YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT? Fabulous is where it's at. The most casual you'll catch him is
half nakedshirt with rolled-up sleeves and dress pants. Else he really rocks everything he wears- FGSDHJFGSHJ ABORT, ABORTAlso I don't care what pixiv says, his bowtie isn't a clip-on.
11) Do they have any hobbies? Did they come up with these hobbies in Luceti, or was it something they always did?: He picked up "trying to fly" in Luceti 8| else it's mostly reading, trying to discover if Suicune is also around, and being terrible at drawing.
12) Has the situation in Luceti changed their view on certain topics/the way they react to different things?: Nope, he really hasn't been here long enough for that and he's pretty damn stubborn anyway.
13) Do they have a weapon? If so, do they carry it at all times or just under certain circumstances?: Like most Pokémon trainers in Luceti, he has three murderbeasts with him. Yes, "murderbeast" includes the cottonball. The ways of Pokémon are mysterious indeed.
Else he carries smoke pellets with him, but it's mostly for the sake of his ~dramatic exits~ rather than for use in battle. Not that he wouldn't use them if he needed to.
14) Who are their neighbors?: He actually hasn't met any of his floor neighbours yet! As I said, he doesn't spend much time in his flat. Else there's house 11 nearby, which is pretty cool because hi fellow poképeople
plus other random people he doesn't know but who cares about those guys.15) Who are their best friends in Luceti? How often do they spend time with them and doing what? ... What is having friends. But hey, he does have a friend in Luceti since Crys is here! Good Crys, best friendrival. Else, well... he did meet a few people who can stand him for more than five minutes (this is a prerequisite), but he's still at the acquaintance stage.
16) Their favorite areas/stores/hang-out locations?: Everywhere. He probably likes hanging around the library and the tea shop though |D
nerd17) Wing color and how do they deal with their wings?:
He wasn't happy about having to cut holes into his suit, but he never wears baggy clothes so it was a necessary evil. Else he deals with them pretty well! He's more curious about what they can do than annoyed or anything of the sort.
18) Did they change or grow in any way physically since coming to Luceti?: Nope! He's done growing up and he only just got there anyway.
19) What do they miss the most from home?: He hasn't been here long enough to really miss anything yet, especially since he can go months without seeing a familiar face and still be fine. For now he's still in this NEW PLACE, MUST EXPLORE mindset.
20) What does their handwriting look like? Do they write the way they talk, or is there a clear difference between the two?: His handwriting is elegant and slanted, often cursive, with big but narrow letters. It gets a bit chaotic and all over the place if he has to write fast, though, he's bad at writing in a straight line. He mostly writes the way he talks (i.e. like a fruit), but he has a tendency to get carried away and get extra flowery in written speech.
21) Is the way they act in person different from the way they act over the journal system?: He always acts as if he were on a stage, whether it be in person or over the journal. So... No, not really. 8| He's aware of the difference in medium and would totally exploit it though (he'd definitely use it to his advantage if he had to stage something. I don't even know if I make sense).
22) Did they gain/lose any personal goals during their stay in Luceti?: He hasn't given up on his dreams, that's for sure. He added "learn as much as possible about this place" to the list, though.
23) Is Luceti a technological upgrade, or downgrade for them? Have they adapted to these changes well?: Probably more of a downgrade for him than for most of the poképeople since he really, really likes technology. He can live without some of the most advanced stuff like his hologram machine (that thing was for Suicune hunting anyway), but here's hoping he doesn't break his binoculars because then he would be a sad Eusine. For a whole ten minutes. That's how bad it is.
24) FOR STUDENTS: What is their favorite class? What is their least favorite class? What about their general behavior in school?: N/A
25) FOR DRINKERS: What is their favorite drink? What is their least favorite drink? Do they prefer Good Spirits or Cloud Nine? What's their attitude about and while drinking?: He doesn't really drink beyond the occasional cup of wine or fruity cocktail, so... mostly N/A. He wouldn't intentionally get drunk, but he might get tricked by said fruity cocktails into drinking more than he should. Good thing he's already exuberant when sober, no one will notice the difference.
Or will they.26) Do they have any special talents? If so, what are they?: Eusine is the kind of guy who is either really good at what he does, or really bad. No middle ground.
He's actually good at this Suicune-hunting thing! It's just that Suicune was sealed away for about nine years out of the ten he was looking for it. Once it started roaming again though? Team Rocket just had to follow him for a while to find it, that's how good he is (/insert an appropriate amount of sparkles here). It ties in with the fact he's actually pretty damn clever and has extensive knowledge about Pokémon legends, though he's also able to remember random trivia about more mundane Pokémon and use it in battle.
His most distinctive skill is probably magic, though. Not actual magical powers, of course, but he's a skilled magician and has a knack for tricking people. Or juggling balls. He's good at juggling balls. He's just good at entertaining people as a whole, whether it be with his bullshit, his tricks or his amazing storytelling skills.
Oh, and he thinks he's good at art. To the dismay of everyone else.
27) Have they learned any new skills or abilities in Luceti? If so, what are they? Why and how? HE'S TRYING TO LEARN HOW TO FLY, WISH HIM LUCK. More seriously, he knows you're not supposed to be able to fly with filial wings, but it doesn't mean he can't push them to their limits and see what they can do. Gliding would be useful, guys.
28) What kind of habits do they have on drafts? Are they willing to kill or do they prefer to avoid fighting? N/A. He wouldn't avoid fighting though, but killing a living being would be such a big Do Not Want. Incapacitating status effects all the waaaaay.
29) What kind of habits do they have on missions? What is their reason for going on them? What do they intend to use their points for? N/A
30) How long have they been in Luceti? Has that length of time impacted them in any way?: Only about a month and a half. He's used to travelling for extended periods of time and seeing new places, so it hasn't had the time to impact him in any way other than "what do you mean we can't leave".
31) How do they unwind and get back to normal after a brutal experiment, event, or draft? Hasn't been through any of that yet, but he'd be back on his feet in no time flat. It would really take a lot to destroy his high spirits. Hell, even seeing his lifelong dream slip through his fingers wasn't enough to make him mope for more than five minutes.
32) What is their worst experience from an experiment or kidnapping? Were there any that they actually liked? N/A
33) Anything else you want to note?: Yes. But I won't, because then this meme would drown under all the headcanon. ASK ME THINGS IF YOU WANT, I GUESS.
