GREETINGS LUCETIANS. Long ago, on a distant server, Kyio once unleashed a pleasant meme. But then it's been over a year and yeah, we need to do it again. It's sort of like an info survey.
Well it's back, with new questions! And thanks to Dreamwidth's generous comment character count, these might even fit into a single comment! It's a 33 question survey/meme about your characters and their experiences and developments in Luceti. It'll give you a better idea of where your characters are at and let other people get a good sense of what your character is like and up to. It can make for interesting stuff, really.

7) Who do they live with and how are chores divided in their house/apartment?: He lives alone and does everything, but Neku is theoretically helping him fix up the downstairs in preparation for opening the cafe I think?

I usually stick with salad, chili dogs, and viper drink as the main favorites. He cooks from time to time but doesn't actually need to eat and so he tends to just not to more often than not.
9) What they do during an average day in Luceti: He paints, plays the violin, skims the journals, and goes for walks.
10) Their general sense of fashion: Joshua dresses classy. Well, classy for a 15-year-old. Think nice clothes.
11) Do they have any hobbies? Did they come up with these hobbies in Luceti, or was it something they always did?: MUSIC AND ART. It's been his deal since ye olde days of being a Reaper.
12) Has the situation in Luceti changed their view on certain topics/the way they react to different things?: [Insert long-ass ramble about Hanekoma here.] He's also opened up to those close to him a lot more than he did back home (which... really speaks more to how closed-off he was back home than anything else). Also it's been a long time since he's felt so close to disappearing.
13) Do they have a weapon? If so, do they carry it at all times or just under certain circumstances?: His gun, pretty much all the time. Also his cellphone, which he DOES have all the time. The cellphone is a weapon, yes.
14) Who are their neighbors?: KH House #2 and Archie Kennedy, Horatio Hornblower, William Bush, Henry Wellard
15) Who are their best friends in Luceti? How often do they spend time with them and doing what? Currently, Neku is the one Joshua would consider closest to him, though he also trusts Shiki and Hisoka. Joshua tends to shut himself in his room, though, so he tends not to hang out with people unless they come over or he wanders into them.
16) Their favorite areas/stores/hang-out locations?: Home. :| he is a hermit.
17) Wing color and how do they deal with their wings?: Rainbow. He flaunts them because they make for a good conversation piece. Also he likes rainbows.
18) Did they change or grow in any way physically since coming to Luceti?: Well, he's had a few incidents of playing around with his apparent age (which he can change at will), but aside from that, he's now got very faint scars across his heart, and giant-ass scabs all the way down his back.
19) What do they miss the most from home?: Shibuya.
20) What does their handwriting look like? Do they write the way they talk, or is there a clear difference between the two?: Neat and tidy. He writes like he talks but with less giggling.
21) Is the way they act in person different from the way they act over the journal system?: Nope.
22) Did they gain/lose any personal goals during their stay in Luceti?: Not in particular.
23) Is Luceti a technological upgrade, or downgrade for them? Have they adapted to these changes well?: Downgrade. Japan of 2007 is already well into the "everyone ever has a cellphone" age.
24) FOR STUDENTS: What is their favorite class? What is their least favorite class? What about their general behavior in school?: N/A
25) FOR DRINKERS: What is their favorite drink? What is their least favorite drink? Do they prefer Good Spirits or Cloud Nine? What's their attitude about and while drinking?: Joshua tends not to go drinking, since he only reserves it for social occasions or (very rarely) when he has things he really really doesn't want to think about. 2010's Halloween is the only time he's done the latter in Luceti.
26) Do they have any special talents? If so, what are they?: ... Yes. Yes he does. They involve Music and changing the fundamental arrangement of people's... people-ness, and also blasting and telekinesis and mind-reading and the list goes on and on.
27) Have they learned any new skills or abilities in Luceti? If so, what are they? Why and how? Well, he spent a while being an almost-Angel, so that was a power upgrade with a few shiny bonuses, but he lost that a while ago. He's gotten better at cooking, though.
28) What kind of habits do they have on drafts? Are they willing to kill or do they prefer to avoid fighting? Not drafted.
29) What kind of habits do they have on missions? What is their reason for going on them? What do they intend to use their points for? Doesn't go on missions.
30) How long have they been in Luceti? Has that length of time impacted them in any way?: (IE. getting used to the place, not wanting to leave, being less/more inclined to do something about their situation, so on) Two and a half years. And he still really, really, really wants to go home. (The canon AU even was nice.)
31) How do they unwind and get back to normal after a brutal experiment, event, or draft? (IE. do they spend time on their own, go drink away their troubles, confide in their friends, and so on.) He throws himself into his solitary activities. When it's particularly bad, he even locks the front door so people can't just wander in (usually he doesn't mind).
32) What is their worst experience from an experiment or kidnapping? Were there any that they actually liked? He had his chest cut open while he was awake. Ever since, he's been very jumpy about people touching the area over his heart. He liked having the chance to go back to Shibuya for the canon AU event, but he doesn't like that it came at the price of someone he doesn't know too well learning a lot of his secrets. But even with that, he doesn't regret it.
33) Anything else you want to note?: I have a headcanon post for him and it is huuuge.

2) Weight: Um, pretty heavy? He's got a lot of muscle and did I mention TALL?
3) Eye color/Hair Color: Blue (on the greener side), and grey with black streaks.
4) Age: 2! But he looks about 16 or so.
5) Physical features: His hair is actually KH2 Riku-length, which doesn't come across that well in all the icons. Also streaked black but that DOES come across in the icons!

He can't really cook, so I guess he compensates for that by doing more cleaning and stuff. But he doesn't like doing laundry for everyone else because girlclothes and he is a teenage boy in his head >.>
8) Their favorite (and least favorite, if you want) foods and who does the cooking in their house/apartment?: He kind of forgot what taste was like during his stint as a Heartless, and since then hasn't really had any preferences. Except he likes when things aren't burnt.
9) What they do during an average day in Luceti: He trains. Usually by the barracks, but he's started poking at the Battledome. He also is starting to hang out in the library when I finally get around to making that post I was going to make a week ago >.>
10) Their general sense of fashion: He... really has no sense of fashion. If it fits and is comfortable to move in, he's good.
11) Do they have any hobbies? Did they come up with these hobbies in Luceti, or was it something they always did?: He's gonna start drawing! (see caveat in #9) Also training, but he's sort of always done that.
12) Has the situation in Luceti changed their view on certain topics/the way they react to different things?: WORLDVIEW SHATTERED, rebuilt from scratch, struggling to be his own person now. A shorter list would be what hasn't changed for him.
13) Do they have a weapon? If so, do they carry it at all times or just under certain circumstances?: He has Soul Eater which is a sword he doesn't carry because silly KH and their whole poofing weapons into existence.
14) Who are their neighbors?: Joshua (why yes I DO have two characters living right next door to each other, why do you ask?), the Links, and a cat or something.
15) Who are their best friends in Luceti? How often do they spend time with them and doing what? NAMINE IS HIS BFFL BY BRAINWASHING. Though he's trying not to be overwhelming because he is aware of said brainwashing. Aside from that, he's really close to Ven, Xion, and Ion (replica). He spends time with his housemates and Ion will often drag him out for food because he tends to not be the best at remembering meals until he's really hungry.
16) Their favorite areas/stores/hang-out locations?: Barracks, by the lake shores, Battle Dome from time to time, library

18) Did they change or grow in any way physically since coming to Luceti?: WHY HELLO GROWTH SPURT. Also he grew his hair out, and got the black streaks as a souvenir of the Heartlessification.
19) What do they miss the most from home?: He doesn't, actually. He's much happier in Luceti, knowing what he knows. Especially with Namine here.
20) What does their handwriting look like? Do they write the way they talk, or is there a clear difference between the two?: His handwriting is still a bit on the shaky side, and has a lot less pauses than his speech (unless you're watching him write it, he's a slow writer).
21) Is the way they act in person different from the way they act over the journal system?: Nope. Except he has a bit of a temper sometimes and can't Soul Eater

27) Have they learned any new skills or abilities in Luceti? If so, what are they? Why and how? He can use darkness a lot more easily now than he could before. He can use the Heartless-tunnels for short-range teleportation.

29) What kind of habits do they have on missions? What is their reason for going on them? What do they intend to use their points for? He likes going on missions because before he started checking out the Battle Dome, he didn't really have any opponents to actually fight against. He is not too keen on killing, though. He isn't sure what he's putting his points towards but he's leaning towards something anti-Shifting.
30) How long have they been in Luceti? Has that length of time impacted them in any way?: Two years. He's come to love this place, because it gave him a chance to start over as himself and lots of people who don't see him as just a copy of Riku. Also, other replicas.
31) How do they unwind and get back to normal after a brutal experiment, event, or draft? He mopes and/or trains, depending on the proportions of sadness, embarrassment, frustration, and anger.
32) What is their worst experience from an experiment or kidnapping? Were there any that they actually liked? He hasn't really had anything bad besides ALL THE EMBARRASSING CRUSHING ON ION unless I am forgetting something which I probably am because man two years is a while. Though he still feels mildly horribly guilty about Xion's death which wasn't an experiment or kidnapping thing but I am throwing it up here.
33) Anything else you want to note?: He chose the name "Kohan" because he turned into a Heartless between when Kyrie (from 40 Days and 40 Nights of Rain) left Luceti and returned. When she came back he contacted her again but didn't want to worry her, so when she asked what his name was, instead of replying with "Riku" (shore), he replied with the first thing that came to his head: "Kohan", lake shore, where he'd been spending a lot of time. Later when Xion got aged 10 years, that's what she was calling him, so he started slowly switching over to introducing himself that way. At this point, he's glad he did.

4) Age: It's been about 8000 years since she came into existence, and she's been alive for about 2000 of those years.

8) Their favorite (and least favorite, if you want) foods and who does the cooking in their house/apartment?: She doesn't eat. Well, specifically, she doesn't need to eat and usually doesn't do so. Her favorite food is apples, though, and she'll occasionally grab one from the grocery store.
9) What they do during an average day in Luceti: She stays at home a lot and also hangs out on the top of CH7 and in dark alleys (or, as dark as they get in Luceti).
10) Their general sense of fashion: Dark clothes. Easy for movement.
11) Do they have any hobbies? Did they come up with these hobbies in Luceti, or was it something they always did?: Pushing the limits of the power cap. Basically she tries to make things that stick around and that doesn't work too well in Luceti. Also watching people.

She is a weapon.Well not quite but.14) Who are their neighbors?: Pao-lin is the only other one living on her floor. Aside from that, all of CH7 I guess.
15) Who are their best friends in Luceti? How often do they spend time with them and doing what? Kouki is the closest she has, and even that is more that he's the only one she has even the slightest bit of respect for.
16) Their favorite areas/stores/hang-out locations?: CH7 roof. Dark alleys.
17) Wing color and how do they deal with their wings?: Black, and she hates them. Well, not quite as much as she would if they were a color other than black, but only the lower level angels in her world have feathered wings. She covers them up.

20) What does their handwriting look like? Do they write the way they talk, or is there a clear difference between the two?: Her writing is very harsh and jagged. She tends to speak in shorter sentences, but they get longer when she's writing. She also doesn't like writing, and won't do it often.

31) How do they unwind and get back to normal after a brutal experiment, event, or draft? She broods, relaxes with a drink, or kills things. Depending on exactly what we're talking about here.
32) What is their worst experience from an experiment or kidnapping? Were there any that they actually liked? She had one of her (non-Filial) wings ripped off as an experiment and was held until it healed over, which winds up cutting her power drastically. Luckily she was dropped back with the trophy feather so she could reattach it, but it basically involves cutting the skin on her back and letting it heal over said feather and is overall not a fun process.
33) Anything else you want to note?: There is a slight difference in pronunciation between "Satan" and "Saten", but if you're not listening for it or otherwise expecting it, the distinction tends to get lost. Also, Saten's name was the only one of the big three in her world that only went through one change from its base when I named her. The other two went through two each. /random fact

10) Their general sense of fashion: She probably still needs help picking out clothes from herself. She went from a single dress in the wild to Order or Lorelai uniforms and never really had to pick for herself. She likes light colors, though.
